>> The 'Tiger Tank' is probably our

signature contest where people come in

with early-stage ideas and they present

to a panel of judges. And our judges

typically are entrepreneurs, they're

funders of entrepreneurial ventures. And

our goal is to give people some exposure

being around people that know

startups, can ask them hard questions, and

to have fun to learn.

>> Continuing to learn

what people in their positions would

like to see from young companies is a

really good opportunity for us.

>> You have to have passion. You have to have grit.

You have to have a good

decision process of determining what

is going to be a viable idea versus

what is just rose-colored glasses.

>> Something I like about these

competitions is that you get to watch

everyone else's pitches and everyone

else's presentation. And we are just

learning from other people's in previous

competitions and tonight's as well. I

think we're better presenters and a

better company for it.

>> I've been wanting to be an entrepreneur

since I was young. And to finally come to

a point where I can share what my ideas

were and what my work has been in the

lab with someone who's actually - or a group

of judges who have actually been through

the business experience has been

invaluable. Their feedback just is able

to align the direction that I'm taking

my vision right now, and overall, the

entrepreneurial vision that I have for

my life. I want to say that this has been

a great starting point for all the

entrepreneurship that I will continue to

do through the entire history of my life

and I really don't plan on stopping.

If You Have Thin Brittle Nails, Insomnia Or Hair Loss, Start Eating This! - Duration: 1:53.

We all have a good idea where our kidneys are without looking at a photo of the anatomy.

But can we state the location of adrenal glands?

These two grape-sized glands sit on top of each kidney.

The glands secrete a stream of hormones into our system which regulate our immune system,

metabolism as well as blood pressure.

Additionally, these hormones are what allow us to manage stress.

In today's video we will take a look at one natural homemade recipe that will improve

the functionality of your adrenal glands.

There's no set measurement, but you'll want to create a mixture of about 2 tablespoons,

just enough to eat before breakfast.

First, you will need to assemble the following ingredients:

Brazilian walnuts Dried parsley leaves

Pure natural honey Ground ginger

Raisins

Preparation procedures Place Brazilian walnuts and dried parsley

leaves in a blender Blend these 2 ingredients

Add honey, raisins and ginger

Consume this adrenal-gland booster 2 or 3 times a week.

In no time, you should notice improvement not only with fatigue, but your hair will

have a natural luster.

Also, those brittle nails may be a thing of the past.

Best Bean Dip Recipe - Duration: 7:54.

all righty chef buck here today we're

going to cook up a little bit of a bean

dip you know this is going to be a white

bean puree and I'm going to put it on a

little crostini put it on crackers you

could use it as a dip for chips but the

first thing we're to do is I'm going to

take a little bit of coconut oil and

heat it up in a pan... I've got it on

medium-high heat

I got my oil heated up and I'm going to

reduce it down to medium ...I got a

whole boatload of garlic chopped up

it doesn't matter how you chop

this stuff up because we're going to end

up blending the dip later

throw the garlic in my oil and give it a

minute and let it color up a bit

this is a lot of garlic, but we're

gonna put a lot of beans in here we put

a lot of mushrooms in here to make this

dip you know so you're going to need

that garlic for that flavor and the

beans are canned white beans

I got these rinsed and

drained already I'm going to go ahead

and throw some crushed red pepper in

you could put whatever kind of heat

you like or you don't have to put any

heat at all I'm going to throw a little

black pepper in there too ...so I've been

stirring my garlic around for a

couple of minutes with these red pepper

flakes and I'm going to add

in some mushrooms ...I've already got

these mushrooms chopped up and this is

just some regular white button mushrooms

I like to get the crimini mushrooms

but they looked pretty bad

at the market today so I just got the

white ones it doesn't matter

put whatever kind in there you like

to be fancy-pants you could use some

portobello mushrooms but that seems like

of a waste of money really and this

looked like a lot of mushrooms but these

are going to cook way down

we'll go ahead and give it a few minutes

and let these mushrooms

cook with this garlic and cook down a

little bit and when we blend these

mushrooms up its going to meld really

nicely with the beans and will

help to smooth out the texture make it a

little less beany a little more

interesting ...definitely give it a try

these have been cooking now for about three

minutes and they're cooking down pretty

fast I'm going to go ahead and throw

some worcestershire

sauce in here... I want this dip

this spread to have a lot of flavor and

adding and worcestershire

sauce kind of adds a faux meatiness

I'm going to turn the heat up a little

bit higher so now we're right in the

middle of the medium-high territory I'm

going to and add my beans I've

already got them rinsed and drained

now if you wanted to

you could add some broth but I'm just

going to throw a little bit of water in

here and then just add add water as

needed just a little at a time because

I don't want it to get too wet my plan

with this is to use it as a spread on a

toasted piece of bread so I don't want

it to be overly wet and I'll add a

little bit more water if I need to but I

probably won't need to because I'm going

to end up blending this down in a little

bit with a little hand blender but you

know you can use a food processor or just a

regular blender mixer if you want but

I'm going to go ahead and let this

simmer away for a couple of minutes

now this has been bubbling away

for about four minutes I'm going to go

ahead and uncover it you see it actually

looks even wetter than when I covered it

up which is why you don't want to put a

lot of liquid in because the

mushrooms and the beans have

a lot of water in them already so you

want to take it easy on adding

any broth or liquid to this but I'm

going to go ahead and reduce the heat

down to a simmer put it on medium low

let some of this moisture cook off

before we add the rest of our

ingredients you know the Worcestershire

sauce really smells terrific in

here...definitely try adding Worcestershire

....I think I just want to say

Worcestershire sauce today but

I'm going to go ahead and turn the heat

off and add the rest of our

ingredients

we're throwing some freshly grated

Romano cheese and you can use parmesan or

Asiago ...you know those are the

cheeses I would use

a nice flavorful hard cheese that will melt

up and add to the creaminess of the dish

I'm going to throw a little bit of salt

in here too but not a lot because

there's quite a bit of salt in the

cheese but we'll add just a wee little

bit just because it's a bad habit stir

it around and get that cheese nice and

melted up now I'm going to throw in my

lemon juice and if you don't have fresh

lemon juice you could add a

little vinegar if you wanted

the Worcestershire sauce has vinegar

in it as well but that lemon will add a

nice flavorful bright bite to it and the

good thing about using fresh lemon is

that you can add the zest as well for a

little bit more flavor now all we got

left to do is blend it up but before I

blend it up I'm going to throw a little

bit of olive oil in here so we got the

oil we got the mushrooms

we got the cheese we got the beans we

got all these different elements that

are going to help to make the dish

creamy and smooth it out once we go

ahead and blend it up and if you had a

blender or food processor you can go

ahead and transfer it over to that and

mix it up but I'm just using a little

handy dandy hand mixer right here

and whatever you're using to blend is up

with you can go ahead and blend it and

make it as smooth as you like if you

need it to be a little wetter you could

add a little bit more olive oil

I'm going to go ahead

and leave it right here because I like

it to be kind of chunky so this is about

where I like it so I'll go ahead and give

it a careful taste test here see

if I can do so without burning my tongue

too bad ....that's just where I need it to

be you know if I wanted to I can add a

little bit more Worcestershire

sauce or some salt and the longer it

sits around the more enhanced the flavor

is going to become so I'm going to go

ahead and take it off the burner and let

it sit and cool off while I get my

toasted crostinis ready ...I'm going to

slice me up some thin pieces of

chewy fancy-pants bread then go ahead

and toast them up and I'm going to toast

them up plain not going to put any kind

of butter or flavorings on here at all

because there's plenty of flavor in the

bean dip I'm just going to broil it for

a few minutes until it's lightly toast

get a nice light brown color and

that's all there is to it now if you

wanted to you could just

dip your bread in

there or chips or whatever you like

super flavorful mmmm... but what I'm going

to do is use it as a spread

put a little bit on top and

make a crostini and I'm

going to serve it with a side salad

and top it with some capers put

some green olives on there some kalamata

olives you know whatever you like

you can use it as a dip like this

serve it with a side salad

like I'm doing right here

this will be a nice little dinner

for me ...all right at camera girl just

walked in the door so go ahead and come

on do a taste test for me see what

happens when you work all day

when you

bring home the bacon I'll fry it up in

the pan

all right golly that sounded loud but go

ahead and give this a recipe a try I got

it written down below if you want to

take a peek at it you know there's links

in the video description for everything

Girl In The City Chapter 2 | BF or BFF| Episode 6 - Duration: 17:19.

Hi, Meera.

I made your dad flatbread crumble with sugar for breakfast.

What's the matter, Meera? Has something happened?

No, mom. Why do you ask me some random thing?

Ta-da. Good morning, Meera Sehgal. What a lovely morning it is!

What's this? - What do you mean, 'What's this'?

It's the outfit designed by you. It's exclusively for you.

It's got Areem's name written on it.

After 6 months of internship and after 6 months' work experience...

...in a tiny shop in Dehradun...

...no premium fashion house will launch you. That's a fact.

I'm not some third grade socialite hack who needs to...

...steal credit from some...

...unknown wannabe designer.

'Meera, no means no. For me, this topic is over.'

'Dad, this job is really worth going to Mumbai for.'

You are fired.

'You have just become a shadow queen, Meera Sehgal.'

'You're just not destined to have a career.'

'If you still have any doubts then, you still have your contract.'

'There's a simple termination clause in it.'

'Close the door on your way out, yeah?'

'Meera, you won't be able to survive in Mumbai.'

'I'm taking stock of my mistakes.'

'The first mistake was fighting dad to come here.'

'The second mistake was not reading, not understanding...

...not finding out my position in this company...

...and signing this unfair contract.'

'What an idiot you are, Meera!'

I'm staying.

No running back to papa like a little girl.

Kartik, did you just swipe right?

No. - Just get out.

Why should I get out? - How dare you?

What's this 'how dare you'? You're talking as if, we...

...we are.

It's not like we are not! - Ya, Meera.

Since the day I came here, I've been hovering around you.

Sometimes, in a towel and sometimes, in a vest.

I'm so hot. Did you ever take advantage of me?

You never took advantage, either.

Yes, like, that's also there.

The flame has gone out?

No chance.

Come. Come. - Okay.

Ready.

Growing up sucks.

Go. Kiran is calling you.

Are you staying? - No.

I mean, I don't know.

Come, sit.

Meera, the next few months are very crucial for us.

We're trying to tie up with an international portal and...

...their purchasing head...

...is about to curate our designs.

Meera, we need to come up with at least five new lines.

You mean, I need to come up with.

Yes.

And, Areem is going to be the face of it all.

Yes.

Excellent.

Come on, Meera. Don't behave like a child.

All leading design houses work like this, ya.

Not me, Kiran.

I left my store and my business to come here, because...

...I really thought, this will be my big exposure.

Of course, it will.

Okay, look at it this way, Meera.

Who gets to be exposed to such a...

...huge platform so early in their career?

And once we go international...

...you will be exposed to the very tastes...

...of customers, worldwide. Trust me.

I agree, Kiran. But, how is it helping me?

I'm still not getting any recognition.

Meera, why don't you understand...

...I already have a very difficult and...

...high maintenance girl in my life...

...I just don't need another one.

Okay. I'll clear my desk, then.

Can you at least finish a few designs, before you leave?

Wow.

I have never seen entitled siblings like you both, in my life!

Are you done or do you want another plate?

Make a few more plates.

You know, I longed to eat this, in London.

Meera, everything happens for the best. Don't stress out, ya.

At least, the Papa Rambo situation will get sorted out.

Not the situation. She'll get married by December. Definitely.

If she doesn't get married, she'll get engaged, I can guarantee it.

Please, nothing like that will happen. Okay?

The two of you underestimate Papa Rambo. - Kartik.

Wait and watch. You don't get taken in by this coward.

You know what you should do? Buy 2 flight tickets with...

...your 1st salary and send them to Papa Rambo.

And show him your new flat. Full fancy swag.

Such a job, such a... Thank you.

Who can let go of such a location? This is mind blowing.

I can't believe this, Kartik. You are so selfish.

You'll be displaced, if she goes away. That's your agenda, right?

I'll be displaced? In your dreams. I have your house. Are you dead?

My house? Right. As if, I'll keep you there.

Why won't you keep me there? Didn't you keep me there, before?

One year. We've been trying to crack this deal for one year.

One year, Areem. You had plenty of time...

...to say that, you don't want to do this.

I don't want to do this.

Areem.

Fix it.

Meera is leaving.

So?

If you can't be responsible enough to meet deadlines...

...so, understand, you can't do without Meera.

You mean, you can't do without Meera.

We can't do without Meera.

Guide her. Talk to her. Do something.

Over my dead body.

If you can't be fair, at least be kind.

Nothing will happen, if you belt out mom's lines to me.

And you won't get mom back by running away time and again, Areem.

Hi, mom.

Meera, your dad is getting a massage.

So, I thought maybe I would talk to you.

How are you, Meera? - Did dad say you can't talk to me?

No, dear. Not at all.

Okay, Meera, listen. Should I book a ticket for you?

A long weekend is coming up.

Just come home and meet us once. We really miss you.

Did you talk to dad?

Yes, dear. I talked to him.

He was saying that...

...you have grown up, now. You can take care of yourself.

By the way, he never asks about you.

But, whenever I tell him about you, then...

...he listens very carefully to every little thing.

Okay, Meera...

...this quarrel between you and your dad...

...is making me suffer the most.

Why are you suffering?

My dear, there's loads of tension.

Both of you are exactly alike.

You are behaving as if nothing has happened.

But, I can't behave like that, right, Meera?

For how many days is it going to carry on like this, dear?

Mom, I want him to feel proud of me. And you also.

Meera, we are really proud of you.

But, I want to make you feel even more proud, right?

Stop it, Meera. It's enough, now.

This pride has ruined everything.

You just don't understand.

Meera, then why don't you understand it, dear?

How long will it go on like this? Tell me?

I have a plan. Everything is going to be fine, now.

Really?

Then, should I book the ticket? - I will call you back.

Kiran.

Stay.

I will.

Really? That was easy.

If your international business becomes successful...

...then, you will launch Meera Sehgal for House of Areem.

What?

Yes or no?

This is blackmail.

This is business, Kiran.

Areem is never going to agree.

That's not my problem.

And I will need this in writing, please.

Deal.

Meera nonsense has to stop.

****! ****! ****, ****, ****, ****, ****!

****! - I...

It's okay. It goes off many times like this.

It'll come back. It'll come back. Don't worry. Relax.

What?

Even guys are afraid, sometimes.

Look at your tattoo.

You also have red hair and you are wearing heels.

They work like a dagger.

Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I can't breathe.

I can't breathe in the dark. Please tell someone to open this lift.

I really can't breathe. I swear, I swear, I can't breathe.

Please, just...

Please, have it opened up. - Okay. Okay, okay, okay.

Okay. Okay, okay, okay. Yes.

I can't breathe. - Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Sa, Re, Ga, Ma...

...Pa, Dha, Ni, Sa.

Sa, Ni, Dha... - What are you doing?

I'm singing. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa!

Pa, Dha, Ni, Sa.

Sa, Ni... - I know you're singing. But why are you singing?

Hey. How will someone find out that we are trapped here?

Someone needs to know.

Sa, Ni, Dha... - Why can't we just shout?

Help!

Help!

Help!

I told you. It comes back, just like that.

Sorry, man. I can't take a chance.

Hey. But...

Thank you for the entertainment.

You look very happy, today.

You also look very happy.

What happened?

Nothing.

You?

Nothing.

Saudi Arabia Is A US Colony | Everybody's Lying About Islam 5 - Duration: 3:56.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Saudi Arabia is a United States Colony.

On the surface this may seem ridiculous.

Saudi Arabia doesn't look very American, and it pushes a very anti-American ideology.

But a colony is what it is.

And I'm not talking colony in a Neo-Colonial or Post-Colonial, they've got a lot of Mcdonald's

franchises sense either.

I mean colony in a full throttle 19th century imperialist sense.

You've heard of the British Empire right?

That Empire's most important component was British India, which included modern India,

Pakistan, Bangladesh and Burma.

They managed to control all of this territory with a tiny amount of British soldiers.

They used a lot of strategies to do this, but one of the most important was client kingdoms.

All of this territory was controlled by Britain, but a ton of it was controlled in the form

of client kingdoms, with their own courts and even their own armies.

Everybody knew they weren't really independent, but the polite fiction was carefully preserved.

This allowed the inhabitants of these kingdoms to preserve some self-respect, and it kept

the territories out of the hands of more powerful British enemies.

This is exactly the role that Saudi Arabia plays today.

When people question why Saudi Arabia gets away with what they get away with the standard

answers always point to Saudi power.

We're told that it's the oil, or the amount of money that the Saudis pour back into the

US economy.

But it's really Saudi weakness that makes them useful.

The country's silly ideology, and infinitely corruptible ruling family makes it the perfect

client kingdom.

Its dozens of universities teach religion rather than nationalism and useful skills.

The Saudi military barely knows how to use all the weapons it buys.

Saudi Arabia has been a client kingdom for its entire modern existence.

It was born because the British preferred them to the more powerful Ottomans and Persians.

It has survived because the US preferred it to the Arab nationalists and Communists.

It's a lot easier to keep a king and his family happy than it is to keep a real country

happy.

KINGS LIKE MONEY.

PEOPLE LIKE RESPECT.

Saudi Arabia survived 9-11 because it successfully convinced the US government that Iran presented

a greater threat.

That's true to a degree.

But 15 years of following the Saudi path has made Iran much more powerful.

It has also created ISIS and a range of other nasty organizations that carry out international

terrorism in the name of Saudi ideology.

Saudi Arabia is a client kingdom we no longer need.

The negatives have outweighed the positives since the 1990s.

Communism hasn't been a real threat for almost three decades.

Arab nationalism is essentially dead and Iran is only an enemy when we're actively invading

them or their direct neighbors.

Whoever ends up ruling the middle east will be happy to sell us their oil.

Actually, given the world's declining appetite for fossil fuels, they'll be desperate to

sell us their oil.

Saudi Arabia is a US colony.

It's not worth the cost.

It's time to let it go.

Thanks for watching, please subscribe.

Blow to move creating an air current along, carried by or as by the wind - Duration: 2:58.

Blow: to move creating an air current along, carried by or as by the wind:

Verb blow - /bloʊ/:

But our sun will not blow up at the end of its life.

If this does not blow your mind then you have no emotion.

It's going to blow back, there's no question it's going to blow back.

That system could still blow up.

We're not particularly looking to blow your brains out with the hops.

3rd person present blows - /bloʊz/:

He blows it once, and he's just done he doesn't

get the promised land, it's over?

He says, "Well, the Holy Spirit blows where He will like the wind.

Hubble captured the final moments of a star's life when it explodes and blows off gas and

dust.

It blows their mind when they go out, you know, and are able to pick mountain apples

and eat them.

When we wave, the driver sounds his bell and blows his horn and Jack shouts, hi, Joe.

Past tense blew - /blu/ :

Almost blew up the global financial system.

And I just blew it up here so that you can see it.

And that blew our minds.

Besides, the prevailing winds blew west and it was on the west coast.

Factory whistles blew.

I believe they blew that.

It blew their minds.

So, I kinda blew through a lot of this, in part, because, me standing up here, and talking

about it, is not the most effective thing.

The printing press blew apart traditional hierarchies letting the people interpret and

proclaim, rather than those in power.

The media blew it all out of proportion therefore, the media made a laughingstock of themselves

because people aren't dumb.

That's what kind of blew up the entire model and led to something else.

This is what blew our mind.

We blew it.

Well, you just blew my next question.

When we released the game in Europe people said that market didn't exist because it blew

up ten times.

Past participle blown - /bloʊn/:

And Lorenzo was blown away by this.

And then they were blown into spatially big fluctuations by this process called inflation.

I'm blown away by the fact that you can take that simple idea and turn it into millions

of dollars worth of product.

She went from having HIV to full-blown AIDS.

Your cover is about to be blown this time, and they will know that you are nothing but

an imposter of talent.

Gerund or present participle blowing - /ˈbloʊɪŋ/:

And that by itself was kind of mind blowing something you would read in a science fiction

book.

But the coolest thing is when the wind was really blowing in the sails.

It was a very awkward interaction when I was blowing up the air mattress to sleep on his

floor.

I would've been blowing smoke.

The bed at the hotel is mind-blowing.

Exascale Computing--fact or fiction? - Duration: 12:12.

Hello, my name is Shekhar Borkar.

I'm from Intel Corporation.

The title of my talk today is Exascale Computing, whether it is fact or fiction.

Here's an outline of my talk.

I'll first start with a complete roadmap and technology outlook, followed by challenges

and solutions for compute, memory, interconnect stack, as well as the software stack.

And then, I'll summarize.

Let's look at the compute roadmap.

We want to go to Exa.

From Giga to Exa were two stops called Tera and Peta.

What I'm showing here is a compute roadmap.

In the 80s, we were at Gigascale systems, in the 90s we were at Terascale systems, in

the last decade we have been at Petascale systems, and at this rate, we want to go and

have an Exascale system by the end of the decade.

What this shows is the relative performance of the system as to where it comes from.

From Giga to Tera, around 32x performance came from transistors alone.

Another 32x came from parallelism.

From Tera to Peta, 8x came from transistors and 128x came from parallelism.

From Peta to Exa, expect only about 50% more to come from transistors, followed by the

predominant performance of 670x to come from parallelism.

As a result, we believe that the system performance in the future will really come from parallelism,

especially considering 1000x performance every decade.

Let's look at the energy.

Where is the energy consumed?

Let's take a Teraflop system today.

It consumes around 50pJ of energy per operation for the compute alone - that's about 50W.

Then you add the memory - about 1.5nJ per Byte amounted to 150W.

Then you add the communication, you add the disk, and the total system is of the order

of 1KW for a Teraflop system.

Where does the 600W go?

It goes into instruction decode, the control, address translation, and mostly with the bloated

features that were added in over the years.

Our goal here is to really bring this power down to something like 20W.

That's a tall order, and that itself was the challenge that was posed by this program called

UHPC - Ubiquitous High Performance Computing from DARPA.

What it said was: "give me an Exascale system under 20MW in a data center, and if you can

do that, you can have a Petascale system in a cabinet that you can put in an airplane,

or you can have a 20W Terascale system, or you can have a Gigascale system - included

in a toy helicopter; more importantly you could have a Megascale system consuming micro-Watts

of power, which can be embedded in your body."

All of this is possible if at a system level, we bring the energy consumption down to 20pJ/operation.

How do we do this?

Let's look at voltage scaling.

If we have a circuit, and we reduce the supply voltage, we know that the frequency of operation

goes down almost linearly.

The power goes down cubically, the leakage increases a little, but overall, if you look

at the energy efficiency of such a system, it increases by almost an order of magnitude.

This was demonstrated experimentally and discussed at ISSCC 2008, with a very simple accelerator.

What you see here is: as the supply voltage is reduced, the maximum frequency of operation

reduces, and at the same time, the total power consumption also reduces.

But notice, on the graph to the right is the energy efficiency.

The energy efficiency peaks near the threshold voltage of the transistor by almost an order

of magnitude.

To demonstrate this further, there was another paper that was discussed at ISSCC 2012.

Here, they showed a Pentium processor, which was redesigned on a 32nm High-K Metal Gate

process, and you can see the die photo to the left with the package and the custom interposer.

This processor was put into a Legacy Socket-7 Motherboard running Windows and Linux operating

systems, and the results are very interesting.

This showed that if you can do the design from day 1 for a wide dynamic range, starting

from the maximum supply voltage down to close-to zero, you can see that the energy efficiency

of such a design starts increasing near the threshold voltage by almost 5x.

And here are the results.

This processor showed that in the high-performance mode at the full voltage, it runs at about

1GHz, consumes about 1W in 1200 Mips/W in energy efficiency.

The same processor, when used in energy efficient mode runs at 60MHz under 10mW.

Compare this to the original Pentium circa 1992, which also ran at 60MHz but consumed

15W.

Now if you want really low power, you can use the same circuit, run it in an ultra-low

power mode at 280mV and it consumes only about 2mW.

So we know how to design computational circuits with extreme energy efficiency.

We can also integrate the power delivery.

What this shows is the integration of a voltage regulator on a chip.

You have a load chip, which is a processor, and you have a converter, which is a voltage

regulator.

Such a voltage regulator, when it is integrated, using deep sub-micron technologies also has

an advantage of very good efficiency.

So the power delivery brought closer to the load can have improved efficiency of the system,

and you can also do very fine-grain power management.

This was discussed in a paper in 2010, where what you have here is an 80-core chip (it

was an experimental chip), that has three modes: the normal mode where everything is

active; a standby mode where the logic is off and memory is one - you almost get a 50%

power saving and the wake-up time is also very fast; or you can have a sleep mode where

the logic and memory are both turned off and the power savings are also having by about

80%.

By using these modes dynamically, along with each core having dynamic within-core 21 sleep

regions per tile, you can dynamically activate different cores and different modes.

Of course, you need software to play with this, but overall at the system level, it

improves your system efficiency by almost 60%.

Please read this paper for further details.

What about memory?

3D-integration of DRAM and logic, which is what we call heterogeneous integration, has

got a lot of merit.

Think about a package with a logic buffer chip on the package, where the logic technology

is optimized for high-speed signaling, it implements energy efficient logic circuits

and can also implement intelligence.

On top of that, you integrate a DRAM stack, and the DRAM technology is optimized for memory

density and lower cost.

So by using the heterogeneous integration, using 3D integration, it provides the best

of both worlds.

Let's quickly discuss interconnect.

Here's on-die interconnect.

This shows technology generations on the x-axis, and the relative scale on the y-axis.

If you look at the compute energy starting at 90nm technology and projected down to 7nm

technology, the compute energy goes down by almost 6x.

But what about the interconnect?

On-die interconnect energy per mm (why per mm? - because the size of the system doesn't

change), that energy reduces by only 60%.

So clearly, the interconnect energy per mm at the system level reduces slower than compute

energy, and as a result, on-die data movement energy will start to dominate compared to

the compute energy.

This was discussed here using networks on chip - two papers in 2010.

What you see here is an 80-core Terfaflop test chip discussed in 2006 with the mesh

interconnect - this consumed almost 30% of the power.

The network itself is about 30% of the power.

The second one is a 48-core single chip cloud chip discussed in 2009, and this showed only

10% power, simply because we were smarter in our interconnect, where we had two cores

clustered in a 6x4 mesh, and not in a 6x8 mesh.

So we had to be really clever about building networks on a chip.

One more innovation that was shown was using circuit switched network on a chip, where

you have mesh network, which is narrow - it is a high frequency packet switched network,

which establishes a circuit.

Then once you have a circuit that's established, the data is transferred using wide and slower

established circuit switched bus.

Such a circuit switched bus is differential, low swing, and as a result, improves energy

efficiency.

This paper here at ISSCC 2010 showed 2-3x increase in energy efficiency over a traditional

packet switched network.

So in the future, you have to be a little clever about interconnect structures such

as using buses over short distances, or shared memories as a shared switch, or crossbar switches

for longer distances.

If none of these things work, then you can start thinking about packet switched networks,

extended to the board, cabinet, and full system level.

So there is hierarchy and heterogeneity all throughout the system when it comes to the

network.

Finally, a system must be harmonized with the hardware-software co-design.

You can look at the entire stack: at the top you have applications, and at the bottom you

have the circuits, the design, and the process technology.

We need to start thinking about how we can get guidance from the applications and the

software stack for efficient system design.

At the same time, us, the circuit designers, have to start studying the limitations and

issues, and then how can you use these opportunities that you can exploit in the future, and give

that guidance all the way to the top of the stack.

Putting all these things together, to summarize this: power and energy challenge will continue,

we must opportunistically employ the near-threshold voltage (NTV), 3D integration of memory has

a lot of promise, communication energy will far exceed the computation meaning that the

data locality will be paramount, and finally, at the system level, a revolutionary software

stack will be needed.

This all together, will make Exascale real and not fiction.

So thank you very much for your attention.

Celebs who slept with their fans - Duration: 3:55.

Although it may seem that artists and celebrities are indifferent to their fans and that hardly

one of these admirers attracts the attention and desire of the star, several cases have

now come to light when yes, they do.

Hold on to your hearts, the following are "the celebrities who sleep with their fans".

Zac Efron According to the paparazzi, taking advantage

of his fame, fortune and prestige, he has selected the fans he fancies the most, and

after consulting with his mother, he takes them to bed.

He seems to have a strange complex with his mother, because he always asks her for advice

and consent on these issues.

  Drake

During an interview for Ellen Degenerers show, the singer ended up admitting that yes, he

has maintained intimate encounters with his admirers.

Several of his fans from that moment on, do not lose hope that one day they will fulfill

their dream of going to bed with him.

Jared Leto In the same way, he was persuaded by Ellen

Degeneres during an interview, when she asked him about the subject.

The artist tried to dodge the question and take care of his image, but the evident nervous

laughter and his lustful look gave the answer to the public, and he finally could not contain

it and admitted: he had been with many fans, just like Drake.

Lil Wayne Madness and extravagance have always characterized

him.

However, he has practically an army of followers who would give anything for a night with the

rapper, something that some of them have achieved.

At one point, a 14-year-old girl said she was able to infiltrate into Wayne's dressing

room and they both headed to a hotel.

Obviously, being a minor, her parents sued the rapper, who is said to have had to pay

a large sum of money to get well out of that situation.

Justin Bieber One of the most controversial cases in which

he has been involved was when he allegedly had an erotic encounter with one of his fans,

but earlier had her signed some kind of contract where she would never reveal what had happened,

else she would face serious problems.

According to critics, this strange requirement was motivated because previously, another

fan went public speaking of her intimacies with Bieber, emphasizing that she was disappointed.

Lindsay Lohan She was always characterized by being one

of the most extroverted "ex-Disney girls", a lover of debauchery.

In many interviews, with no ceremony, she has confessed that she has lost count of how

many times she has intimated with her fans, because she does not like formal relationships

so much and prefers variety.

Michelle Rodriguez Each time she is asked about this in particular,

she answers angrily, claiming that she is not obliged to talk about her intimate life

and that she has freedom with her body.

This response, coupled with several indications and testimonies, has left much to talk about.

Kim Kardashian She is the most recognized of the polemical

Kardashian sisters, and revealed that once, in the middle of a private flight, she was

carrying a fan with whom she had relationships on the plane.

She left the spectators speechless.

Maluma It was a huge scandal when he was busted with

a Mexican fan in his hotel room, after a concert.

The woman was Grette Durán, a 28 year old model at the time, who also openly confessed

what happened.

An Introduction to Arbonne with RVP Emma Wilkinson - Duration: 8:52.

hi and welcome and thank you so much for

taking the time to look at Arbonne my

name is Emma Wilkinson and i'm an

Independent Consultant and Regional Vice

President with Arbonne you are either

invited by me or someone else that knows

me to take a look at this business to

just give you a bit of a taster as you

start your conversations whether Arbonne

might be fit for you or for someone you

know. So I would encourage you to really

think about where you are right now and

where you would like your life to be

over the next few years. That's what I did

a few years ago when I started to look

at this business Arbonne I knew that I was

looking to something a little different,

something that can give me perhaps more

time freedom, more control, more fun, to be

part of a team and to really be able to

make a difference in work that I did but

that just wasn't happening for me at

that time. So about four years ago I was

in the corporate world, marketing,

consultancy there's great benefits as

there always is but it really didn't

allow me to be present with my family my

husband my three boys as much as I

really wanted to be. So when Arbonne

came along and I took a really serious

look at it and I looked at what it could

be for me as a business opportunity I

absolutely loved the products which I'll

tell you about in a little while. So I

jumped in and I made it work and I

really did think at the beginning you

know what if it did work this is an

incredible opportunity and it really

does work when you work it. So I would

encourage you but it doesn't really

matter what background you have what

you're currently doing what skills you

have there are some seriously successful

people in Arbonne whether they be lawyers,

doctors, accountants, dentists,

people from the beauty

industry health professionals, performers

anybody really that has dreams and

desires to have something a bit

different in their future and Arbonne

has allowed them to build a business and

fulfill some of those dreams. People also

that don't have any business experience

at all are part of Arbonne

but also some that have had serious

amounts of business experience, anybody

that's from 18 upwards to anyone at

retirement age and they're really

looking to build a secure future for

themselves. whatever you are you know

having a plan B in your life is

something that really makes sense

perhaps before you need one and this

plan and this business can deliver the

things in your life that for me

has certainly started to and certainly

for people I work with deliver

those dreams that they never

thought they could could ever do. So

anyone can learn the skills to build

this business what it looks like in Arbonne

that we are people and I am someone

who loves, uses and recommends the

incredible products they are pure safe

and beneficial products and that means

that it you know they don't have any of

those added chemicals or nasties now

Arbonne have been doing that

producing pure, safe and beneficial

products for over 36 years now

and we have a product range that is

really about nature that is combined

with science that delivers proven

clinical results and we are based around

health and wellness we have products in

skin care, cosmetics and nutrition

We are green we're growing, globally which again

was incredibly important to me and we're

vegan and we're really against animal

cruelty and have always been from day

one. So we have an outstanding

opportunity to grow a significant

business in this industry and business

model of network marketing and again

which I didn't really understand and had

some preconceived ideas about it before

I really educated myself and I would

encourage you to do the same. So how it

works really is that we use

we share these products if you haven't

already got your hands on them then you

need to I ask that you love them fell in

love with them really quickly as I've said

and if you're already

buying these types of products you have

these products

in your house at the moment and when you run

out you need to reorder and then we all

we do is recommend that other people

that we know do the same and that's how

the business model works

as simple as that!

In a traditional model in a

traditional business model products and

manufactured and they go through a whole

chain of processes before the customers

are allowed to buy them so what we do in

Arbonne instead is we manufacture the

products ourselves and we cut out all

those middlemen and we deliver direct to

the consumer. So it's a win-win for both

the consumer is getting a much more high

quality product and is it's a much more

affordable price and the profits then

are going into creating more amazing

ingredients and fantastic products but

also they're going towards rewarding

Independent Consultants like myself who

are the word-of-mouth advertising for

the Arbonne brand. So that really made

sense to me and it's incredibly simple

in fact, because we are growing and

we're growing globally we're already in

the US, Canada, the UK, Australia

Poland, New Zealand, Taiwan and now going

into Germany and many many more

countries to come onboard in the future

So think about where you're at what is

it that you're currently looking for

from your your career and your business

what does success look like to you and

again we're all different but for me

it's leading a balanced life and living life on your terms

and not other people and you know financial peace

I think is really important to all of us

and that looks different to all people

you can choose what you want that

financial piece to be in Arbonne and

then also making a difference of the

work that you do I really found that you

know we often start to make a difference

in our own lives but actually it's much

more rewarding to make a difference to

others but with Arbonne we can actually

be more we can then have more for

ourselves and for others we can link

give more to people

and that's my intention is to give

more to charity and to make a difference

to other people. So you can give more

time trust me whether the Arbonne

income opportunity Arbonne is significant

I do have a flexible

part-time job with Arbonne it's not

really a job but I get to spend more

time with my family and I get to enjoy

my life more and then to show others how

to do the same. So we're here to help you

- it's a business where everybody

succeeds by helping others and to

succeed So there's a lot more support

and guidance and help and it's a really

fun place to be. So let us help you take

the next step and we have the next

conversation either with me or with the

person that introduced you and help

you find out what Arbonne could be for

you or for people that you know. We can

sit down we can design a plan and get

going to work around your existing

commitments and your existing work

because we're all busy there isn't

anybody that has got nothing to do. So it

also gives you an opportunity to write

your own story what do you want your

story to look like in the future in the

next few years that times going to pass

anyway

so when you start an Arbonne business

you have the opportunity to grow and

flourish and every day you can use

products and recommend them. So I would

say that this is about products that can

help you look and feel better but also

it can help you live your life better

too so I really look forward to seeing

you when speaking to you again working

with you in the future and if you want

to find out more than obviously speak to

myself or the person that introduced you

to this and just think about what this could be for you for your family

and for people that you know so thank

you for taking the time to take a closer

look at Arbonne my name is Emma

Thank you so much for listening.

0007 Excel Shortcuts: How to Select Entire Rows or Columns - Duration: 2:56.

You know when you're on your spreadsheet and you're really in the zone, and the

mood is right and you're just kind of grooving, but then you have to take

your hands off of the keyboard and use the mouse to select the whole row

or whole column? Well, nothing kills the mood faster. In my book, at least.

But in today's video, I'm going to teach you how to use just the keyboard

to select an entire row or entire column.

♪ [music] ♪

Sure, you can select the entire column by going to the column letter and then

clicking, or the entire row by going to the row number and then clicking.

But, why would you do that if you can use the keyboard, right?

All you have to do is hit Shift+Space and you'll get the entire row selected.

If you want to get the entire column, you'll hit Control+Space.

Really, really easy to remember because the space bar is the longest key on the

keyboard, which means you're going to select a lot of cells, regardless.

If you use the Shift key, it's a wider, more horizontal, more left-and-right,

therefore, it's going to get you to select the entire row. And the Control key is

going to be more narrow and more up-and-down, therefore, the entire column.

A couple of Shir words of wisdom. If you actually start on a single cell,

you'll get the entire column if you hit Control+Space. But if you start

with, let's say, three different cells and then you do Control+Space,

it will expand the selection to include all of those columns. If I'm here right

now and I do Shift+Space, it will expand to all of the rows, in effect selecting

all the cells. I've created some specific exercises to reinforce these Excel

shortcuts. Go to your rows sheet and actually select the entire row

of all the Xs, and move them by hitting Control+X on the PC or Command+X

on the Mac. Go to the spot you want to go to, and you can paste it.

Now, pasting, you can actually select that one cell at the beginning

and it will do the job for you, but I recommend starting a habit now

of selecting the same amount of cells as you were selecting before.

Meaning, do a Shift+Space again, and then a Control+V to paste it.

Both will work, but this is a better habit to start using. You can also do the same

thing with the columns. Select the entire column, Control+Space, cut it

with Control+X and then paste it with Control+V. But again, select

the whole column first, and then paste it. Notice you leave a little mark for where

you were. By the way, one more thing you can do here is you can actually notice

that you can select an entire row or series of rows and, in one swoop,

apply formatting, let's say a bold. It's one of those shortcuts where you

can use it with other shortcuts to really maximize your time and be really,

really efficient. So, that's why I love Shift+Space for the entire row,

Control+Space for the entire column. Don't forget to visit excelshir.com,

where can download these exercises along with other free resources,

such as keyboard shortcut cheat sheets for both PC and Mac.

Thanks for watching. See you next time. And one last word of advice.

If you find yourself in a heated argument, stop, take a deep breath and share the

Excel love. It'll defuse everything.
