Youtube daily have Oct 28 2018

I want you to close your eyes. I want you to imagine a world where people starve

because they don't have enough to eat. A world where we have floods, droughts,

hurricanes and sinking cities. We're fighting with each over

resources, there are dead people on the streets and diseases are spreading like

wildfire as a result of a lack of clean drinking water. I want you to open your

eyes again. Now this is not some sinister scenario from a Hollywood movie, this is

an estimate by the World Health Organization that by the year 2013 every

two minutes somebody on this earth - somebody on our earth - will die as a

result of climate change. Now this is not a talk about how the world is

doomed. This is not a trial, and you're not being judged or convicted. As a matter of fact,

believe it or not, but it's an optimistic talk. It's a call for positive thoughts

and you will soon find out why. Granted, we're facing challenges like we never

did before. The polar caps are melting, the oceans are rising and around 800

million people do not have enough to eat. That's one in nine people. It often

seems to us as if this was due to higher powers, nature, big corporations and that

the only people in power to change something are politicians, at best.

Here's the thing: They can't - and they won't. But what if I told you that you could

be the reason why this planet continues to exist? What I told you you could save

millions of lives and alter the course of history? You'd call me crazy. And you'd

have a every reason to. Just look at the amount of people in this world: 7.5

billion and counting. Seems like a big number, right? Wrong. It's gigantic. Let me

put this in perspective for you. What do you think is the percentage that one

individual accounts for? Sure, you'd need a couple of

zeros after the comma - but how much exactly? Four zeros? No. Five zeros? Keep

going. Seven zeros? Almost. It's nine zeros. Zero point zero

zero zero zero zero zero zero zero zero one three percent. Now let me make this

graphic for you. If we stacked people on top of each other, we could surely reach the

moon, right? But even then we've only used four percent of the population. With the

remaining people, we could go to the moon and back

not ten, not eleven - but 12 times. Here's one last visualization. Look at this circle.

This is the earth, this is where the moon runs around us and if we took

each other by the hand this would be the size of our circle. That would be us.

That is how much we are. And yet here I stand, telling you that YOU matter and

that YOU can change the world. Now there are two options. Number one: I lied to you.

Number two: I told you the truth and there are in fact things you can do. Wait,

no: It's even easier. There's only one thing you have to do. Actually, it's even

easier than that: It is something that you simply don't have to do anymore and

that is eating animals. Now you may have heard this a thousand times:

"Oh, the poor animals, look at how cute they are"

Animals are cute and you know that. I'm here to tell you things you don't know yet.

For example this is the amount of people that could be fed on the grounds

we have available depending on what we use them for. And this is increasingly

important, given that many fear constant growth and ultimately

overpopulation. Remember the graphic? We're going to be even more.

And you see that we have to grow vegetables rather than meat. Besides

it is nutritionally superior - look at this! More fibre, more iron, more clacium, more magnesium

less cholesterol - and it even works out to be cheaper for you! And lastly...

This is what a vegan saves every single day when it comes to resources. Now let's

do the math: After a year that's 400,000 gallons of water - the equivalent of 3

million small bottles. And after five years you've saved four hundred thousand

kilograms of grain - that's going to feed two thousand people for a year. And after ten

years you've saved three hundred fifty thousand kilograms of carbon dioxide.

For reference: a car uses around four thousand kilograms a year. So you could

be driving around for 90 years every single day and you would still not be

near the amount of carbon dioxide you're safe just through your lifestyle. Now I

know what you may think, I've heard the preoccupations: Oh it's so hard being vega-

No. It's not. Trust me, I've been there. First day in Costa Rica, going to the restaurant, I asked them

Would you have anything vegan? They looked at me with a sense of surprise,

bewilderment and even some sort of fear and told me "No." The next day, I came prepared.

I told them I'd be ordering: Gallo Pinto,

Picadillos de Verdura, Platanos Maduros, Ensalada verde, Yucca Frita y una tortilla.

Boom. Vegan meal - sorted. Other people say: "Well, we've been eating animals for

hundreds of years so... So? We've had slaves for hundreds of years, we've brutally

oppressed women, minorities and other nations but at some point we decided that:

"No, that's not a very smart or human thing to do", so just because we did

something for ages does not give us any justification or permission to keep it

going. Listen: I'm not telling you what you

SHOULD do. I'm only telling you what you COULD do - What you are capable of as an

individual. Ultimately, it's your choice. In a few years, somebody will die from

the results of climate change every two minutes. And in the very same time, two

minutes, you alone could be saving five liters of water. It is your time. What will

you do with it?

When You Go To Your School's Formal But You Have No Friends So You Wonder Around In A Daze - Duration: 3:25.

When's the fucking music gonna start?

Oh shit, not this song

I knew I should never have come here

Can't believe I paid $50 to enter this stupid thing

I should have at least worn my fedora

Then I'd show everyone how classy I am

Maybe then I'd stop getting bullied by all the dickheads

God I can't wait to go home and play League

I should never have listened to mum

Why'd she make me go?

Oh shit, it's Amelia

I hope she notices me

Why is she talking to Lachlan, he's a dickhead

SHIT

Fuck you Lachlan, you think you're so cool

But you can't respect women

Amelia should be talking to me, not you

Dammit, I've got coke all over my trenchcoat

Why did I go?

Highschool is the worst, none of the girls will talk to me

Fucking stuck up bitches

I'm a nice guy, why don't they go for me?

They'll all be sorry, when the international students from China come all the girls will flock to me

Oh God, it's only 9 o'clock

Where'd Amelia go?

Oh great she's talking to Ruth and Kerry

They're all looking at me and talking

I feel like an idiot

They're so stuck up, I hate them all

My feet hurt

Maybe I should talk to someone

But none of my friends are here

I thought Harry said that he was going

This music sucks

Put on some K-Pop

And get rid of this western rubbish

Oh great, Lachlan's got his arm around Amelia

What does he have that I don't?

It's because he has blue eyes

The girls would be all over me if I had blue eyes

Look at all these idiots dancing

I can't believe that people actually unironically enjoy this

All these dumb sluts are going to be sorry after highschool

I'll be back for the 10 year reunion and I'll make them all pay

That'll serve them right

Oh shit, Amelia is alone

I'm gonna talk to her

How should I start?

M'lady?

No, she won't understand my class

What did dad say?

Be yourself? No way

Good girls like bad boys right?

So I should treat her like crap, right?

Ok, let's go

Deep breaths

It's actually happening, I'm going to talk to a girl

'Um, hey'

She can't hear me

Why's she got her back turned to me?

Great, now she's ignoring me

Stupid thot

ELECTRONEUM coin KYC. Secret Trick to have YOTI approve your ID - Duration: 5:55.

shirt all straightened out a little tight on me I think I think I'm getting

too fat so he says hello mr. happy man we appreciate you she glad to see that

you enjoy watching me laugh at myself all by myself in the middle of nowhere

with only you guys to watch me randomly over on YouTube

well the bullet information booga-booga do you think richard will announce

things before kyc is complete I think that there are some things that can be

released before kyc is complete and other things that will need to wait for

kyc will have to wait for Richard to define that that likes the same hey Dino

could you explain to me the steps you did for kyc and level two I'm stuck I

downloaded the app yeah the yotie app created a profile I scan the Yoda QR

code on the ETM website scanned my driver's license but they keep rejecting

it okay so if they're rejecting your driver's license I'm not sure what part

of it you're getting rejected on you want to get everything set up in the yo

D and the first thing is when you're taking the picture of your driver's

license sometimes if you'll wiggle it around they can see the hologram on it

and you have a much better chance of not getting rejected so you have to get your

information into the into the Yoda first and it'll it'll lock your and your

driver's license put in puts in all your details once you have that set up then

you can go to the electro Neum website and you go into your settings and you'll

see a little QR code you go into your Yoda you say I want to share my

information with this company and you click that you'll scan the code now this

is not your address this is not your wallet this is in your settings and

you'll scan it and then it will come up and it'll say hey mr. Dino do you want

to share your information with electro Neum and you say yes I'd like to share

my information and it'll transmit it but then it'll ask for a couple of other

details that may not have been collected in the

eat and and that'll get you set up from there once that has been completed you

can then now log back into electro neom and it'll say you did the step one would

you like to go to level two and and you look at it and it says to go to level

two you need to show that you exist you know send us a and you have an address

you know send us a copy of a bill something in your name with your address

that matches your license and you send that over and that's where electro Neum

takes a look at it and fulfills the EU requirement to get you approved now I've

I've heard rumor that they're they're catching up and they're they're getting

a lot of these done and things are moving along nicely so they're happy

with the progress that's happening and they'll get you level to my level - I

did it relatively early so I was able to get authorized in about 24 hours or so I

waited a day or two and it was there and then it asks you want to go level three

you just make a copy of your pay stub the show that you actually have a way of

making money and you send it to to them and they'll catch you level three all

right hope I answered your question yeah you should have no problem living in the

u.s. to get your driver's license can just wiggle it around you want to get

that yo D to approve that I owed e's got to prove it and get it into their system

first then you can start to kick over and share that information with

electronical 20 minutes lay down hey double X says D know you are a genius

he goes it worked yeah gotta shake your driver's license instead of holding it

exactly Batman you know why because they don't take a picture they take a movie

and what they're doing is looking at it and seeing if they can see the

reflection on the on the the hologram there we go the who the hell

there we go no that's not a repeat I'm just doing that on purpose now by

shaking it and do it like this you'll see the reflection if I put this on here

you see you see different reflections right and you they can then pick up that

you have an actual driver's license with a hologram built into it congratulations

to you I'm glad it worked let's give a big set of applause

the gun works and that that process worked good stop stop

PeterMcKinnon´s STYLE! Happy Birthday, Peter I have subtitles for you, 😂 | FullHD | C.T.Cinematics - Duration: 8:55.

Today's episode is consistent with Peter McKinnon´s

birthday

about his video style

have fun!

suitable for Peter McKinnon´s birthday, which is today,

I thought I could make a video, which is part of a new series

about the video style of some YouTubers

I start with a video about PM

So, what's the most obvious thing

when watching on of his videos

The first thing is usually this:

"PPFfwwhatsUp everybody, Peter McKinnon here"

That's just very eye-catching

You watch a video and instantly know,

Ah!

I know him!

That's because of his addiction to coffee, I'd say

He drinks a lot of coffee

He even has coffee in his room

In every video there's nearly 5 times the word "coffee"

He made a film about coffee

That's why he's always so agitated,

which is supportive for his style.

Even though, everything is very professional

And isn't that shaky or so...

He films very professionally

He cuts very professionally

And, head over to B-Roll!

His B-Roll,

Often these are just cinematic parts, not B-Roll, but anyway

The characteristic,

He uses EpidemicSound music

If you don't know, what this is;

It's a website

where you can use every song (for YouTube or IG) for 13 $ a month

The cool thing is, that they have separate tracks each with

for example drums, vocals,…

And they have SFX

PM says, he likes Ooyy, an artist on ES, the most

He films everything with Canon

You can see it in every video;

Everything is Canon

all the lenses

every camera...

EVERYTHING

sometimes, Canon sends him free stuff

He always said, that Canons are the best

Even though some over brands are making good stuff, too ☺️

Nonetheless, mostly, he uses a 1dxii

That's a sport photography camera

But it is very good in film as well

4k 60

It's a very big camera when comparing it to all the other DSLRs out there

Just a BEAST of a camera!

For his normal tutorials, he even uses a C200

which is a cinema camera

that can film in RAW

The colors are very good

Peter owns a few drones as well,

this footage is used in almost every single VLog

because of the fact, that he always carries the Mavic with him

especially the MavicAir or most recently, the Mavic2Pro

He also has lots of LUTs

He sells 3 LUT packs

one for videos, two for Lightroom and so on...

Sometimes he uses some kind of teal and orange grading

such as SamKolder uses

but the most

he uses a very moody color grading i'd say.

Not very saturated

everything very crisp

exept for the bokeh which he absolutely LOVES!

Which brings us to the next point:

next up: Lenses!

The most B-Roll footage he shoots on the

Canon 85mm 1.4

one year ago he filmed almost every shot with the 70 - 200 2.8

But he said it's way to big and heavy

The 85 1.4 is very good in

a) low-light

and b) bokeh

which accents the sharpness of his videos

For VLogging he uses a 16 - 35mm

The other lenses are not that important for explaining his style...

of course he owns a few other dope lenses

he still has the 70 - 200, some super wideangle

Sometimes he uses the 100mm macro lens because of it's delicious shallow depth of field. 😍

he made many photos with it as well

in the video where he compares a 400 $ camera with a 4000 $ setup

he took a product photo with this lens

Peter just loves product photography!

Very new in his style are these graphics.

for example the pop-up instagram effect,

or some kind of setting-bar

Or dials which he can turn with his hand! 😍

It just looks really professional

and creative!

I really like it!

He uses all the adobe programs

photoshop, Lightroom

AfterEffects

and of course: PremierePro

"cutting style"

His videos are very slow

so you can really enjoy the shots and look at the landscape.

Last but not least:

his VLogs!

What's the special thing about them?

He travels a lot so he is in a lot of hotels

And, what's very awesome about this are the room tours.

Because he uses his amazing B-Roll

so you can see the whole hotel.

He calls it a "proper PM style hotel room tour"

that's just very nice

and it's just a part of his travel videos...

If Peter McKinnon should somehow see this

I just say something in English

Not very likely

but I'll just hope... 😂

So, that was today's episode, I hope you enjoyed it.

Do you want to see more videos like this?

Please like, subscribe

and comment,

comments with constructive feedback a very good, too.

Until next time, check Peter McKinnon out - BYE!

Girl loses it in hypnosis, some laugh while police have to control the situation - Duration: 5:24.

[Feel Good Hypnosis music plays]

.. the deeper you go, drifting sinking down. In a minute I'm going to count form 1 to 3

on the count of 3, you'll no longer be an alien translator, you'll no longer speak

alien you'll be able to speak English again

but on the count of 3 on the count of 3 only the person I'm touching now

will not be able to say the number 7, will not remember the number 7.

You'll know how to count like you've always counted, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ,6, 8, 9 , 10, 11, 12

nod your head that you understand, that's right.

Only the person I'm touching now

the person I'm touching now, every time you hear someone not saying the number seven you

just cannot stop laughing you cannot stop laughing it's like a

biggest belly laugh you've ever had nod your head that you understand

1, 2, 3 and only the person I'm touching now, on the count of three and only on the

count of three every time you hear someone laughing it's like you're the

laughter police and you shout at them tell them to stop laughing nod your head

that you understand anybody in the audience you will not get violent you

will not say any bad language but every time you hear someone laughing it's like

you're the laughter police and you'll tell them to stop laughing nod

your head that you understand so 1, 2 ,3 open your eyes.

Having fun in hypnosis? Isn't this good fun.

okay let's do a little experiment hold your hands up like

this here and lets count out loud for everybody

[Girl in middle] 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11

11?

[Girl on right] Wot!! [ Starts to laugh]

Hold on a minute, hold on a minute, before you count any further why areyou laughing?

[Girl on right, laughing] She can't count!

She can't count?she says you can't! You just counted right up to 11!

[Girl in Middle] Excuse me!!

Are you ok? You seem a bit .. perturbed

[Girl on left] Please like .. do not do that!

[Girl on right just laughs]

[Girl on left] What's so funny? What's so funny?

And it get funnier and funnier and funnier!

[Girl in middle] It's ok! It's ok!

[Girl on left] What's your problem?

And you start ..

[Girl on left] Stop laughing!

and you start to laugh like a donkey

[Girl on left] You sound like an idiot, stop laughing!

[Girl on right laughs like a donkey]

[Girl on left] Stop laughing! Seriously!

And now you start to laugh like a posh lady!

[Girl on right laughs like a posh lady]

[Girl on left] You sound like an idiot! Shut up! Seriously be quiet! Literally it's not that funny!

Look at me, sleep, deeper deeper deeper relaxed we're gonna reset that laughter so you're

not laughing until you hear someone miscounted, in 1, 2, 3 open your eyes

[Girl on left] What's going on?

that was good fun, okay let's just double check, something went wrong there maybe it's cuz

you had your hands like this here let's count this way 1 ..

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11

[Girl on right laughs]

[Girl on left] Stop laughing!! It's not that funny she just can't freakin count!

Now you laugh like a leprechaun

[Girl on right laughs like a leprechaun]

[Girl on left] Ok, now you literally sound like an idiot! Stop laughing. seriously! Shut up!

Sleep, deeper deeper

we're resetting that counting once again 1, 2, 3, open your eyes.

[Girl on left] Your not funny, she's not funny!

She's not funny, is she? I don't know!

we're doing something serious here we're counting fingers.

[Girl on left] You really can't count, this is a serious issue here!

[Girl in middle] Can I not count?

[Girl on left] No you can't count.

[Girl in middle] I can't count! I have 9 GCSE's and I can't count!

Is maths one of them?

[Girl in middle] Yes!

Maths is not everyone's strong ..

Maybe if you had counted all your numbers you would have gotten an A you see. right let's try one more ..

maybe it's because we're counting up because how many fingers do you have

that's it, put it this way, count this hand, 1

1 2 3 4 5

5, ok and how many on hand?

1 2 3 4 5

5 and 5 is?

10

10, so two hand up. so Lets count 10 ..

10, 9, 8 ,6, 5, 4 ,3, 2 ,1Wait, What!

[Girl on left] Are you kidding me?

Something does seem to be wrong here doesn't it?

[Girl on left] See, that's what you get for laughing!

[Girl on left] Oh my god, really, be quiet!!

[girl on right just keeps laughing]

[Girl on left] Jesus Christ, I have a headache now!

[Girl in middle] I'm trying not to laugh!

[Girl on left] Umh Hum!

Sleep now, deeper deeper deepr relaxed and 1 2 3 reset.

Ok, let's not count fingers maybe that's a bit too

complicated, fingers, so let's do what we do what about a math quiz 2 and 2?

4

4 and 4?

8

Ahh, 5 and 2?

ah, Umm ..

Funnier and funnier

[Girl on right - laughs even more]

what's wrong with you? What's wrong with you?

[Girl on left] That voice is splitting my skull open!

[Girl on left] stop laughing!!

And sleep,

sleep deeper, deeper, deeper relaxed and reset

so 5 and 2?

Ahhh .. 8, no ..

Oh God Idon't know!

no, no, okay we'll do that well do a movie quiz, movie quiz.

Ammm, Snow White and how many dwarves?

Aaaa .. Aaa ..

[Girl on left] I can see you Eden!

8, no 6, .. no

[Girl on left] Yep, there you go!

[Girl on left] Every time you laugh I could drag you

[girl in middle] I don't know!

I'll help, I'll help with the maths, look at my hands, look at my hands

and sleep now deeper sleep now, deeper deeper, deeper relax

the deeper you go the more relaxed you feel the more relaxed you feel the deeper you go.

These People Have Never Seen 'American Horror Story: Coven' | NowThis Entertainment - Duration: 3:19.

I don't do scary stuff

so I don't know why I signed up for this!

It's about witches, and they're chilling together.

Some scary potions.

They have black cats.

Voodoo dolls with, like, some pins.

Blood and guts and murders.

Oh...what?

Woah.

Someone's unconscious and she's....

...riding this man in a hospital bed.

She looks like she's in high school.

This is not at all what I expected.

He's...

dead?

Oh, and there's blood everywhere.

I'm horrified.

He literally bled out of his ears...

and his eyes...

and his nose.

This really encapsulates

the intensity of the emotions that can come with young love.

Does her sex kill people?

I'm really confused.

What can you do?

Is that Emma Roberts?

Her skin is all, like...bleh!

Their faces are touching.

Seems, like, oddly sexual as well.

They're like squeezing her.

Oh!

Uhh uhh.

Keep pushing!

CPR...New Age.

[screams]

Oh! Oh my God!

[screaming] [retching]

That was disgusting.

I need a cigarette.

Ha ha! That's kinda relatable.

I get that.

I would ask for a cocktail.

Or a cheeseburger.

I don't think we should be bringing back

anybody from the dead.

Oh man, I'm scared now.

This older woman's drunk in a bathroom.

This is the meme I always see!

She's about to say it! She's about to say it!

Surprise, b*tch!

I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me.

Surprise, b*tch!

[laughs] Wow.

That's what you say when you get in a fight with somebody

and you, like, show up at a party that they're at

and you're like,

'B*tch, you thought you saw the last of me!'

I'm the next Supreme.

Is the Supreme, like, witch? Is that, like...

skateboards and hip-hop?

Crunch wrap supreme? [laughs]

Seems very funeral-like.

Somebody's gonna die.

Are they crucifying her?

That's a way to go.

My sweet daughter...

That's her mom!

She's gonna murder her mom!

Really?

Any last words?

Only one:

Balenciaga!!!

Balenciaga?!

That's a very random thing to say.

Maybe she didn't get, like, the latest T-shirt shirt

or the shoes that look like socks.

[screams]

Oh, God.

Damn!

Why??

Clearly, this scene alone shows you

the intersection of fashion and witchcraft.

Witches got styles.

This is making me rethink all of my knowledge of witches.

The killing with sex thing was totally new!

They're not like your average witch.

Where are their wands?

Where are their potions?

Where's the black cat?

That's what I was waiting for.

Surprise, b*tch!

I read ALL 337 books in Skyrim so you don't have to - Duration: 14:00.

Ah, the Elder Scrolls, games chock-full of lore.

And Skyrim is no different.

Hidden amongst the draugr and dragons is a plethora of books full of very important

and incredibly niche details.

But with all the spellcasting and shouting you must do as dragonborn, who really has

the time to read all those books.

I DO.

APPARENTLY.

I read every book in Skyrim in order to answer the eternal question, "Should you read every

book in Skyrim?"

And I'm here to give you my top five recommendations of books, here in my SKYRIM BOOK REPORT.

Skyrim book report!

How many books are there, really, in Skyrim?

After all, there are only eight people credited as writers on Skyrim.

Those eight people are responsible for every quest, every voice acting line, every response

you can give to an NPC.

How much time do they have to write all those other books?

A lot!

Because they wrote this many books.

This many books.

*pained grin*

Or at least they wrote most of them because a few of them have been grandfathered in from

other Elder Scrolls games.

Before I get into the nitty gritty, let me explain my process on how I did this Skyrim

Book Report.

I printed out every book in Skryim, and then I spent multiple eight-hour days reading EVERY.

SINGLE.

BOOK.

I whittled it down to 338 books because I didn't include journals or diaries.

Everyone knows that self-published doesn't count.

In total, that's 571 pages, five and a half point font, over three hundred and sixteen

THOUSAND words.

I had two reactions to this.

My first reaction was, "Wow."

This is an incredible amount of world building.

To write 300,000 words that could essentially be skipped over while still having the full

Skyrim experience, it's amazing, and it's a level of world building that could only

exist in an interactive medium.

And for that, I commend you, Bethesda.

My second reaction to this,

was WHAT THE FUCK.

HEY TODD?

WHAT THE FU-

In my Skyrim Book Report, I will be discussing:

*smack*

That's a smash cut.

Hopefully.

If I do my editing correctly.

338 books.

Uh, actually, 337, I just realized, um, over here, Songs of Skyrim, I put both of them

in there, but there's a revised edition.

I lied.

It's just 337 books now.

Obviously, I don't have time to synopsize all of these, and believe me, you wouldn't

want to watch that even if I could.

I've split them into categories to make this a little bit easier.

First up, historical books!

These book titles you see rolling up the screen are all biographies or histories.

What I categorized as histories was anything that had big historical dates in them, explanatory

histories, or pretty much anything that was boring.

History's so BORING.

UGHHHH.

J.R.R. Tolkien

*kiss*

did the world a disservice by making every single fantasy writer think

that they need to chronicle every goddamn minute of their world in order for it to be

legitimate.

I don't give two shits about a king who lost a war 700 years ago.

*snoring noises* Get OUTTA here!

Some of these biographies are actually pretty interesting.

But a lot of them are written like The Chronicles of Nchuleft.

I didn't tab it out 'cause it's a shitty story.

"It happened in Second Planting (P.D. 1220) that Lord Ihlendam, on a journey in the Western

Uplands, came to Nchuleft; and Protector Anchard and General Rkungthunch met him there, and

Dalen-Zanchu also came to the meeting.

They talked together long by themselves; but this only was known of their business, that

they were to be friends of each other.

They parted, and each went home to his own colony."

RIVETING.

Ugh.

History's so boring.

I'm done with this.

Next category: Instructional books!

These are all field guides or basic recipes about how to make good armor or what flowers

go in which potions.

At best, they are in-fiction instructional books.

At worst, they are so obviously trying to get you to go do specific things.

Pulls you right out of the fiction!

C'mon man.

That's all I'm gonna say about that.

Everyone's favorite: the academic books.

Fun fact about academic books that I learned in college

is that no one has ever enjoyed writing or reading an academic paper.

WHY'D YOU PUT IT IN A VIDEO GAME.

Mythicaaaaal stories.

It's kind of weird to differentiate things between myth and history, especially in this

world where you can talk to demon princes.

I split these two up because these are very boring and these are slightly more palatable.

They're more like creation myths, or they're just like random stories that are fun to read,

so they're getting closer to good fiction.

The poetic and dramatic.

Everyone knows that poetry and theatre are meant to be seen and not read.

And you have NO IDEA how much it pains me that I do not have time to do staged readings

of all these.

Oh my GOD I would have loved that.

We have "eh."

What genre is "eh?"

It's the catchall.

Um, these tend to be accounts, kind of like medieval fantasy op-eds.

So I…

I just put 'em here.

EH!

We're done with these now, so…

Get outta here!

Finally, we have 59 books that I would consider good fiction.

GooooOOOD fiction.

What I did here is I gave myself three criteria about what would make good fiction in the

realm of Skyrim.

Number one, does it help build the world around us?

Number two, does it give us an interesting or different perspective on that world?

And number three, is it good?

Now you might say, "Brian, what gives you the right to say what is good fiction?"

I READ ALL 338 YA DINGUS.

BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THAT THESE WERE THE ONLY GOOD ONES.

THIS IS ALL I'M QUALIFIED TO DO NOW.

I need a drink.

*deep breath*

Okay!

There's still 59 of these, so I obviously can't summarize all of them, but I have

left five off, and they are my top five books of Skyrim.

So we're gonna talk about those.

Number five, Advances in Lockpicking.

Now Advances in Lockpicking is actually an instructional book.

But I think it does more than just the other instructional books, where you open them up

and suddenly you're better at lockpicking, because it's written by a thief in a very

interesting voice.

There's a great ending line for this book: "Some thieves can't read.

If you can't read, get someone to read this book to you.

It will make more sense then."

That's great.

I think that's a much more fun way than saying, "Here is how you pick a lock.

This is what this set of armor is."

Better than instructional.

Just good fiction.

Number four, Palla.

In a world where crazy creatures exist, how do you make fiction that is compelling that

people can just kind of experience in their own life.

Palla is a necromantic romantic book.

It's a story about a man who sees this beautiful statue of a woman fighting a beast and falls

instantly in love with this woman.

Turns out, she's dead!

From fighting that beast.

He decides to get into necromancy to bring her back from the dead.

I kind of don't want to ruin the surprise for you.

It manages to tell an interesting story while also introducing these ideas of monsters and

necromancy.

It's kind of weird, but it's very well written.

I'm gonna go ahead and put up three and two.

Why do I put up the Argonian Account and Feyfolken at the same time?

Turns out, it's written by the same fictional author: WAUGHIN JARTH.

This one's for you, Waughin!

I'm a big Jarth head!

He's not actually in the story at all, I couldn't find any instance of, like, him

as an NPC.

So I really hope he's in the next one.

Because I want to meet Waughin.

I just want to meet Waughin Jarth.

These ones were not actually written specifically for Skyrim.

They were grandfathered in.

But they do an incredible job of building the world around you.

The Argonian Account is actually the second story in a series all about Decumus Scotti.

This is kind of like the Hobbit of Tamriel, where we're taking this unassuming character

and thrusting them into this completely foreign, amazing landscape, except instead of a hobbit,

it is a midlevel bureaucrat.

It's full of screwball comedy and wonderful worldbuilding about the Black Marsh which

is where all the Argonians live.

You have to fast travel by being eaten alive by a worm.

That's great.

I want to see that whenever we go to the Black Marsh.

It's so flavorful, and that's why I'm a Jarth head.

Feyfolken.

It's a story about a scribe who's terrible at his job but gets this enchanted quill that

forces him to be amazing.

Sends himself into this madness, and he kills himself at the end of the book, spoiler alert.

But that's not what this story is really about.

It's an interesting fiction that teaches you about different Daedric princes, and which

ones could have caused this specific enchantment on the quill.

That's good worldbuilding!

I am interested in the story!

You told me something that I can learn about the world.

I had a good time reading Feyfolken!

Jarth, ya did it again!

And that leaves us with the number one book.

It's not The Lusty Argonian Maid.

I feel like I should broach this subject.

I'll tell you why I didn't include it in my good fiction list,

and it's not because I'm a prude, who doesn't love a little erotic lizard fiction?

*OOH COME ON BABY*

The reason I didn't include The Lusty Argonian Maid as one of the best

pieces of fiction is because it's SEVEN ACTS LONG.

Seven acts?

There is no way you can manage to maintain that level of erotic tension for seven acts.

That's like five and a half hours!

As a person who has done one or two plays in my life, that's just unfeasible.

Okay?

I'd like to see them try.

~I would like to see them try~

*OOH COME ON BABY*

Before I go to number one, I gotta go

get a flu shot.

This is not a joke.

It's important to get your flu shot.

Alright, I'm back.

The number one piece of fiction in Skyrim, not Waughin Jarth, I'm sorry.

It's Beggar, Thief, Warrior, King.

It's four books, actually.

But it's all part of Eslaf Erol's story.

It is completely fiction even within the fiction of Skyrim.

The reason I put it first is because it's the only book that was legitimately hilarious.

I straight up chortled.

*chortle*

That's what I did.

In real life.

That's amazing.

The writing style of these four books is just naturally hilarious.

There are so many bland, cookie-cutter stories in Skyrim that follow the same set up, twist, punchline.

This doesn't have that.

It's just a good story.

One of these writers was just flexing, and I think that's wonderful that a writer had

a chance to—within the fiction of Skyrim—write something that's just naturally funny.

You should all go home, onto your computers, boot up Skyrim, find these four books, and

then read them, in order.

It's worth it!

That's my quest, for you in Skyrim.

300 gold points.

That's it!

That's it, that's all of the books.

So like, what did I learn from reading all 338 books of Skyrim?

Surprisingly, a whole lot.

Like, there are two main takeaways that I pulled from this.

Number one, this is a masterclass on how to write effective flavor text.

Between all of these, historical, instructional, the good fiction, and, you know, the iffy fiction.

This is a way to learn what to do and what not to do.

Obviously, not everyone is going to connect with certain types of flavor text.

I'm sure there's a lot of people that disagree with me and think that the historical

is the most important flavor text.

And you know what?

They are valid.

And they're wrong.

And they always seem to find my comment sections.

When you take something good like Feyfolken which teaches you about the Daedric princes,

but in an interesting way, it really shines in comparison to the three and a half million

biographies of Barenziah.

You don't even see them in Skyrim.

I don't care about Barenziah.

IT'S BORIIIIIII-

But not like Feyfolken!

That's really interesting and effective.

Also it just teaches you about all these wonderful forms of fiction.

If you're a fiction teacher, like, teach your kids with Skyrim!

TEACH THE KIDS.

WITH SKYRIM.

I got a creative writing degree.

That's all I have to say about that.

Second takeaway, this is a wonderful teaching device about unreliable narrators.

So many of these histories are negating other ones.

This is a wonderful way of showing people you need to read everything if you're going

to get the whole picture.

I read everything.

I am the keeper of the picture.

That's every book in Skyrim.

So it's time for us to revisit that ever present question, "Should you read every

book in Skyrim?"

NO!

WHAT?

HOW COULD YOU WATCH THIS WHOLE 10+ MINUTE VIDEO AND THINK THAT I WOULD SAY ANYTH- WHAT?

NO!

I BORE THIS BURDEN!

FOR YOU!

DON'T READ THEM!

NO!

Please don't read them all.

DON'T READ THEM!

You can read the top five, that's fine.

GRRRRR.

HOW DARE YOU JETTISON MY GIFT!

DON'T READ THEM!

NOOOOOOOOOOO

If you want to see me keep doing things like this, make sure to hit that subscribe button.

And now for a staged reading of The Sultry Argonian Bard.

Pat: I could never perform your request.

BDG: Oh!

Is it too fast for you.

Pat: I fear I may damage my… instrument.

BDG: Ah, but you seem to handle it so well my darling.

Pat: My lady you flatter me.

BDG: Well it is such a LARGE and MAGNIFICENT piece.

The Terrible Things People Have Said About Rachel Ray - Duration: 4:12.

For a seemingly friendly TV personality, Rachael Ray attracts a lot of negative attention,

especially from fellow celebrity chefs and food writers.

For one reason or another, the following folks just can't stand Rachael Ray.

"Not good enough" for Martha

The queen of homemakers, Martha Stewart, expressed her skepticism of Rachael Ray's skills in

a not-so-flattering way in 2009.

Stewart revealed in an interview with ABC News that Ray once admitted to her that she

couldn't bake.

Exposing that weakness on national TV was bad enough, but Stewart kept throwing her

trademark brand of subtle shade.

"She just did a new cookbook which is just a re-edit of a lot of her old recipes, and

that's not good enough for me."

Stewart went on to say that Ray is more of an entertainer than a teacher.

Stewart defused the situation not long after with an apology to Ray on her show, and Ray

told ABC News that, ultimately, Martha had a point.

"When it comes to producing a beautiful, perfect, high-quality meal, I'd rather eat Martha's

than mine too."

Too amateur for Emeril

Emeril Lagasse eventually got over his tiff with Rachael Ray, but for a while it looked

like they were going to be lifelong enemies.

According to journalist Allen Salkin's 2013 Food Network tell-all From Scratch, Lagasse

once said Ray, quote, "doesn't know anything about food" and even said if it was his call

to make, she never would have been on TV.

"I love that!

Little thin, pretty little-"

"Now!"

"hmmm."

The two seemed to patch things up, though, or maybe Lagasse just realized that publicly

berating a popular figure wasn't the best way to revive his then-waning career.

Regardless, Lagasse went on to become a frequent, chummy guest on Ray's show.

"Salt for the taters!"

"Oh, those look so good, Rach!"

"Mmm."

Not gellin' with Giada

While Giada De Laurentiis has officially denied rumors of a feud with Ray, if you read between

the lines, it seems likely there's at least a little bit of bad blood between them.

In 2009, De Laurentiis tried to squash rumors of a feud in Redbook, but her attempt to put

out the fire was less than convincing.

Giada admitted in the magazine,

"Do we hang out all the time?

No.

Are we best friends?

No."

The two went head to head on Iron Chef America in 2006, and De Laurentiis, who was teamed

up with Bobby Flay, doesn't seem to have gotten over losing to Ray and Mario Batali.

In 2014, she told Hamptons magazine how annoying it was that people still asked her how she

felt about losing to Ray.

"It will bother me until the day I die [...] I'm a fighter, and I like to win; I'm not a good

loser."

Too brash for Bourdain

The late Anthony Bourdain was never known for holding back his true feelings, and he

had an intense dislike of Rachael Ray.

In a now deleted 2007 guest post on author Michael Ruhlman's blog, Bourdain wrote,

"Complain all you want [about Rachael Ray].

It's like railing against the pounding surf.

She only grows stronger and more powerful.

Her ear-shattering tones louder and louder.

We KNOW she can't cook.

She shrewdly tells us so.

[...] She's selling us satisfaction, the smug reassurance that mediocrity is quite enough."

Bourdain portrayed Ray as a sort of anti-Julia Child who, rather than enlightening aspiring

home chefs and inspiring them to cook better food, she, quote, "uses her strange and terrible

powers to narcotize her public."

"Let's say that's perfect, shall we?"

Not subtle enough for Sara

Sara Dickerman, a former chef, cookbook author, and food writer at Slate, called out Ray in

2005 while discussing the sorry state of culinary TV.

In a takedown of all things Food Network, she singled Ray out as the most problematic

celebrity chef, writing,

"Worst of all, there are endless hours of Rachael Ray, who dines out on the cheap and

cooks on the fly, chirpily renouncing such culinary values as elegance, subtlety, and

perhaps even flavor.

It is enough to make you give up on TV cooking shows."

"And we have our-"

"We'll get that later!"

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch investigates civil aircraft accidents and serious incidents within the United Kingdom.   There is a list of their current investigations on their website and the Leicester disaster, as yet, is not on it. However, it has not been updated since October 18. Reporter Katerina Vittozzi said: "As you can see behind me, there's a police cordon in place all around the King Power Stadium.

"The car park where the helicopter crashed is just behind the stadium behind me.     "Leicestershire Police have told me this morning that the investigation is being led by the Air Accident Investigation branch. It's testament to how important the owner is to the Leicester City Football Club fans. "He is a man who, when he bought the club, oversaw the most successful period in the club's history, leading it to the Premier League win in 2016. "He was a man who loved England, loved football and loved all things British including polo.

"There is no confirmation he was on board this flight but we do know it was routine for him to use the helicopter both to get to games and to leave afterwards. "Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was not just a stand-alone owner of this club. He was someone who was very much involved with its life, he'd offer things like free beer to spectators when they were doing welll.

"He was from Thailand but he was very much an integral part of this club having bought it in 2010. "Fans here have spoken about their deep shock at this and their sadness as well."     Leicester mayor Peter Soulsby issued a statement on the helicopter crash late last night. "Dreadful news from @LCFC #KingPower" he wrote on Twitter.

"Thoughts and prayers with all - particularly owners who've done so much for Club and our City #Leicester" Leicester Council are yet to release a statement on the incident. But Leicestershire Police tweeted overnight: "The AAIB is leading an investigation after a helicopter crashed at the King Power Stadium. "It came down in a car park near the stadium shortly after 8.30pm yesterday evening (Saturday 27 October).

"The force is liaising with Leicester City Football Club as enquiries continue."   Leicester play Southampton at the King Power on Tuesday night. It is not known if that game will still go ahead as planned.

Leicester City Women have confirmed their game with Manchester United Women today has been postponed. "In light and in respect of the recent events at King Power Stadium our @FAWC_ fixture against @ManUtdWomen has been postponed," a statement read. "A newly arranged date will be communicated once confirmed. "Our Reserves league match against Derby County Ladies has also been postponed. "If you purchased a ticket online for the Manchester United match, you will shortly receive an email with your next steps.".

JUST VENTING-ANSWERING YOUR QUESTION TO DO I HAVE ANY HANGING SKIN - Duration: 4:44.

I'm venting right now but I swear I'm trying to upload a video as you guys can

see and I'm telling you when the weekends come I have neighbors now see

is that a very very disrespectful they're not mindful at all this is a

two-family house of other people's you know tranquility and quiet time they are

just making obscene amounts of noises if that's even a word to the point that I

was doing a video just a second ago and I had to stop the video because I

thought that I heard knocking but no it's just them nasty is acting like

they're in a zoo it just doesn't make any sense

you know you know people have brought up different ways so you know I can't knock

how they were brought up but I know that that plays a role in how people live

when they get on their own and become adults and some of us look live like

we're living in zoos so you know you can't fault them for being the way that

they are because at the end of the day people change when they want to change

and if they don't want to change they don't change but I had a question

someone that asked me and I want to just to address it that's why I wanted to

vent at the beginning of this video because the question is going to be

answer quickly and I'm going to be on to the next video someone had asked me did

I have any hanging skin and the answer to that question is no I do not have any

and any hanging skin and the reason for that is what I think is two reasons one

hanging skin can be hereditary and two it depends on how long you were heavy

you know big and stretched your skin out I gained weight the first time in my

life and I'm 43 years old in 2001 I didn't gain I lost the weight

quickly in 2001 and then I gained weight again in 2004

which was like 13 years later and then after that I had gained weight for the

third time and 2000 I want to say the end of 2016 and it took me 14 months to

gain a max weight of like 88 pounds it may be 98 pounds I got about another

10 the moons after I get to my goal weight which is 88 pounds I have another

10 pounds that I want to lose so you know I gained weight this third time

within 14 months in 75 pounds of it within nine months in my two weeks is

gone but you know my mom and grandma and all that even when we were pregnant like

when I was pregnant with my son my baby came out and my stomach went flat down

with a board that same day so and I didn't I don't even get stretch marks on

my stomach area now I got stretch marks on my butt no hanging skin on my chest

stretch marks or whatever like that but in life for an example hanging skin like

if you want to say hanging skin in my stomach no I have none of that

so you know it's a combination of hereditary or how long you've been

abusing your body and I don't want to offend anybody but when we gain weight

including myself you know it's abusing your body so how long have you been

abusing your body plays a role in if you're gonna have hanging skin or not if

you've let yourself go and just gain weight for years and you did nothing

about it you you know that's probably why you

have hanging skin I'm saying that it could be hereditary because I don't know

I haven't struggled with my weight all my life I don't remember all my life

struggling with being a big person and my skin stretching and

you know stretching then I'm getting small stretching then I'm getting small

but I don't have any hanging skin to answer your question I hope that I

answered it so with all that being said please subscribe to the channel like to

shave this video or make it a favorite and I'll see you guys in the next video

bye for now

Two Fox News Mainstays Have Tense On-Air Standoff over Trump's Role in Bomb Scares - Duration: 3:18.

In a viral clip after the arrest of alleged bomb-sender Cesar Sayoc Jr., Fox News mainstays

Chris Wallace and Shepard Smith clashed about whether or not President Donald Trump bore

any responsibility for the incident.

The confrontation came as the now-infamous van Sayoc owned was carried away by police

— a procession which was being covered by helicopter.

"You just can't ignore the politics of this, even if you wanted to," Smith said

at the beginning of his segment with Wallace.

"These are people the president has gone after rhetorically.

These are people this guy targeted.

It goes to the tone and tenor of the political discourse and the words that the president

uses in his rallies."

Wallace hit back, meanwhile, with a remark regarding the Steve Scalise shooter.

"I don't think you can draw any particular link or any responsibility on the part of

the president for this action," Wallace said.

"I mean, as Sarah Sanders said and just repeated by (Fox News Channel White House

correspondent) John Roberts, a Bernie Sanders supporter shot up the congressman at the baseball

practice.

Is Bernie Sanders responsible for that?"

"Nobody is saying he's responsible," Smith said.

"The rhetorical discourse has devolved over time and the president says we need to unify.

Some of that begins with the rhetoric, does it not?"

"It would certainly be good, but I think it's separate and apart from the actions

of this guy," Wallace responded.

"This is a twisted person."

"I think that it's really incorrect to hold the president either by implication or

directly responsible in any way for the misdeeds of a person that is a psychopath," he added.

"Nobody did that, Chris.

Don't say I did," Smith said.

"All I said is when the rhetoric gets loud, the crazies come out sometimes."

Wallace, however, noted that trying to connect dots between "rhetoric" and violent criminality

is improper — and the real problem.

"Let me just say, it's a separate issue about the political rhetoric in this country

and it's unfortunate and I think it's a very bad thing," Wallace added later.

"But I think it's very dangerous to draw links between that and links of any sort between

that and criminal activity."

"History will decide what the rhetoric has done in this society," Smith said.

"I'll wait for history," Wallace shot back.

Smith said he would wait for it, too, and closed out the segment.

Even before Sayoc was arrested, many wanted to speculate on what kind of responsibility

the president might bear.

Now that he's been caught, that speculation hasn't abated.

It's interesting how the media is suddenly interested in rhetoric causing violent acts

— particularly since, one year after the Scalise shooting, they still won't even

mention Democrats as being complicit in that.
