What's going on guys!
Today I want to show you my 1988 scamp travel trailer.
I've completely remodeled it from the bare-bones back in Florida.
It's been about four months on the road now.
And we've made it out here to the beautiful Oregon coastline.
Heading southbound on the 101 right now into California.
And we're full-time on the road!
So wherever we end up, we end up.
But I want to show you a little bit of how I live and what's inside the camper!
so we'll kick this off with the most important part.
That's Zeus. He's our vicious attack dog.
Clearly.
Just super vicious.
He is a good boy, so he gets his own twin size bed over here.
It's got tons of storage underneath.
We keep our battery right up under here.
Storage compartment over here for his things.
And he does have to share the bed.
We've got some firewood and things over here, that's Andrea's jewelry
She makes jewelry.
And that's our solar panel!
The case looks like it's been through like Jurassic Park or something, but the
functionality of that solar panel is just amazing.
The hardware is not the best, the leg setup is not the best, but I'm not really too picky.
It does what it needs to do, so I'm happy with my two hundred dollar purchase.
I think it was from a company called Komaes on Amazon.
Just pretty basic stuff but it does the job.
It hooks up down here to the full river battery I got. It's an AGM 215 amp hours.
And it'll hold a charge for us for about two weeks. And that's completely
off grid without a day of sunlight. So more than we need on that.
The only things I've got running off that battery right now are just those two lights,
that's our exhaust fan. I think it's called the "fan-tastic" pretty clever name.
And we've got a water pump under the sink.
That's our sink there, sorry about the dishes but you get the point.
It's just a basic little hammered copper sink and this is one of those spigots
that's supposed to be in a bigger house as just like the drinking water spigot,
but its perfect size for the scamp.
and under here, let's see if I can move this stuff really quick.
This is where I keep the tanks.
That's gray water on the left
fresh water on the right, gets pumped through the pex piping and up into the sink.
That's our little voltmeter there, it's got two USB ports for charging
things like camera batteries and cellphones.
Up top here is where we keep our dry storage and like other kitchen accessories.
We've got... Let's see what we've got in here.
Steel cut oats, that's my French press for coffee.
and Spam! Gotta have Spam for breakfast!
Over on this side is where we have our pantry.
It's a little mix of everything, we've got some more food up top.
In the middle is where we keep our plates and silverware.
As you saw, most of that still in the sink.
But down in the bottom, we've got like our vitamins and supplements.
And over here is where we have some more food storage actually.
Kind of doubles as... What's in here?
Yeah mostly food.
I think all these are food.
Food.
That's a big old chocolate bar, check that thing out!
That's how you do chocolate on the road right there.
And over here is just more cans, so I guess we have some extra room honestly.
We've got our towels and things underneath next to our bread.
This is the cooler, that's the fridge.
Down below our little fridge cooler is the wood stove.
This thing's pretty cool.
So right now we use it just to cook on.
But I bought it with the intention of tearing this wall down.
And I'm actually gonna build a box over top of our toilet.
Which is in there right now.
But we don't use the rest of the space, so much so getting rid of this wall and putting in the wood
stove would probably be way more useful than the way it's set up right now.
I'll still be able to use my toilet and on top, ill fireproof it and kind of build
a little corner for it back there.
I'll cook on the top of the surface,
this thing is a water tank and it'll basically boil a gallon of water.
And it's got a spigot on the back here. Lets see if you can see that.
But it makes coffee and tea super easy so it would just be a good move.
And I could also get rid of the
giant clanky propane stove that I always have to drag out
from underneath the sink.
So getting rid of that thing... When I use this, I have to open the windows.
So every time I open the windows and the fan is on,
I'm basically letting all the hot air out from cooking.
So it always gets cold in here when were cooking and having the wood stove
would just kind of get rid of all of those problems.
We've just been using it in the base camp set up for now, but
there's the pipe for it. If I get it put up through that roof up there,
I'd pretty much just be able to leave it in one stationary place, which would be super
nice because every time we have to cook, we have to move something around.
Whether it be taking this outside, or grabbing that thing out of there.
It's just kind of a pain in the ass honestly.
Up under the showers is where we keep our shoes.
That just kind of worked out unintentionally.
And over top here I built a little shelf
just to hold random things. We've even got some stuff shoved back in the corner
back there, but that's like our little file cabinet. That's my old drone box.
My little tarp/awning deal, and this is just spare camera equipment.
But, there used to be a bunk bed here. So there was like two twin bunk beds, but I
decided to cut it out that way we had more open space and
it let's a little bit more light in the camper.
And on the far end is the bed.
Underneath is where we keep our clothes.
It's somewhat of our closet I guess.
it's just kind of long bins that we pull in and out and we each have a bin.
Well Andrea's got like 4.
But we've got storage under this bench over here that goes all the way
back it's pretty much my garage. I've got all my tools and things under there, and
over here is where we keep like our safety and first aid and all that
survival gear and whatnot.
The actual bed itself is super comfortable.
I didn't expect it to be, but it's pretty comfortable right?
Yeah, it does the job.
It's not the biggest bed ever, but it works.
Up above on each side we just kind of both have our little storage cabinets.
Those just kind of hold our personal items.
Mine's a mess, hers is probably a mess too.
Yeah...
I gotta show you Zeus, trying to catch flies right now.
I don't know what the deal with Oregon's coast is with flies, but they're...
They're like everywhere. There's flies everywhere. we opened the door for like five minutes
and we just have all these flies in here now. So that sucks, but at least we got
Zeus his uh vicious guard dog is starting to kick in with the Flies.
I'm pretty sure I covered just about everything in this video.

I bought my girl, Anjalie, a wedding ring, and I'm going to surprise her on her birthday!
One thing's for sure: it will be full of surprises and emotions.
Because I´m going to take her to a Tropical Island. And there, she will get a lot of surprises
We have been together for a long time now, and I've always wanted to propose to her,
but the entire time I thought I didn't have the financial means to
invest in something that's worth enough for her. During that time I was a student,
and for a student, that's not an easy task. But I realized it's not what's in your
pocket that matters, it's what's in your heart that truly matters. For me,
it already feels like we are married. But the most important thing in life is that we
love each other, Make each other laugh and stay happy.
So that`s what I´m gonna try to do. I love her and I wanna make her happy. And I´m
going to record everything and she is used to that. Because I always do that.
And she probably gonna think, that this one is a Birthday vlog.
Anjale is really a good person she is really lovely she always supports me
through the ups and downs and she's really beautiful person she is always
there fore me. There are some people talk shit you already know people talk shit
and people talk shit about me too but that doesn't stop her to stay on my side
she is really beautiful that's all I can say I hope everything goes well and I
thank God for everything really thank God first she always showed me proposal
videos and said that would be nice if something like this would happen to her
one day but you know she already gave up hope because we are we are together for
a long time now she probably thinks I'm never gonna propose to her and that's
why it's gonna be a big surprise for her as well and what I'm going to do for her
today is not even a quarter what she deserves but I'm really excited - I'm
really nervous a little bit because I have never been there before and I hope
everything will be alright so this is how it's going down
first I'm going to surprise her at midnight with her birthday gift after
that I will tell her to meet me at the mainstation the next morning but I
won't tell her the destination. I'll just tell her that it will be a birthday trip.
Second I also bought tickets for her and my family. So they're going to be there as well.
And they are also gonna take the same train. But she doesnt know that.
And to make sure that nothing goes wrong, I will cover her eyes everytime we
hop aboard the next train. Third As soon as we arrive at the Tropical Island. Me and
My girl will go first and I will book an exclusive hot air balloon ride for two.
I'm afraid of heights but this time I would do for her only
The hot air ballon trip above the tropical landscape will
be amazing, but the best part is yet to come.
Because I created a Poster which says: Anjalie Bubi! Will you Marry me?
Both our parents will be showing the poster from the ground,
while we are in the balloon. After all these years she probably thinks that I will never do
a proposal to her I'm really excited about her reaction whoo
this is gonna be crazy this is gonna be really really crazy and yeah she doesn't
know that my parents gonna be there so she doesn't know at...
she doesn't nothing at all... she doesn't know... she doesn't nothing NO!???.... she doesn't
know anything at all yeah and and I would say let's go

- My friends, I think each of us can probably name
persons in our lives who have been great examples
of what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus.
Perhaps a parent, a grandparent or another family member.
One reason we Catholics like to name our saints
is so that we can also hold them up as examples
of persons we would want to imitate.
On the other hand, perhaps we can also name persons
we have known which we might say, well,
they're examples of how not to be a disciple.
We won't go there.
These at least perhaps will say do as I say, not as I do.
Over these past several weeks we have,
as we've been making our way through the Gospel of Mark
in our Sunday readings,
we have been journeying with Jesus and his disciples
toward Jerusalem and we have seen and heard examples
of both how not to be a disciple,
and we have heard Jesus speak about how to be a disciple.
We heard about the rich young man who decided
he would rather have all of his riches,
the one thing that was keeping him from Jesus,
rather than follow the Lord.
Last week, James and John came to Jesus
with a request to sit at Jesus' right and his left
in an earthly kingdom.
Perhaps they were looking for fame and power.
And finally, we even heard how some so-called
disciples were preventing people from bringing
their children to Jesus.
But in each of these, we also saw Jesus responding
patiently, teaching us how to be a true disciple.
He says let the children come to me.
If you want to be the first, then you must be the last
and the servant of all.
If you want to be a disciple of mine,
you must deny yourself,
pick up your own cross,
and follow me.
And now finally today, brothers and sisters,
as Jesus and his disciples are nearing
the end of their journey,
as they pass through Jericho,
which is only about 15 miles from Jerusalem,
we finally see in the person of Bartemaus
a living example of what it means
to be a true disciple of Jesus.
Bartemaus recognizes Jesus for who he truly is.
Not only Jesus of Nazareth but Jesus the Messiah.
As he calls out to him, "Jesus, son of David".
Bartemaus honestly admits his need for Jesus.
"Jesus, have pity on me."
He's not concerned about what others might think of him.
And Bartemaus is persistent in his prayer.
In fact, the more people try to prevent him,
the more he persists.
And finally, when Jesus calls for Bartemaus,
he responds with great enthusiasm.
He holds nothing back.
And after he is healed by the Lord,
he follows him without hesitation on the way.
We also know that the story of Bartemaus is more
than a story about physical healing.
It is a story about being wiling to be healed
of whatever blindness that might prevent us
from following the Lord.
And we all have our blind spots, don't we?
We shouldn't deny it.
Like some of the Pharisees did in the Gospel of John,
to whom Jesus said,
"Because you say you see, your blindness remains."
Perhaps like Bartemaus, what matters most is to first
have a simple desire to see and to see more clearly.
And so as we continue to learn what it is to be a disciple
and perhaps how not to be as well,
let us resolve to follow the example of all the good people
in our lives and people like Bartemaus,
listening for the voice of the Lord calling us,
throwing aside whatever may keep us from following Jesus,
running to him saying Lord I want to see,
so that we may continue that journey together
with him on the way.
And now we profess our faith.
I believe in one God,
the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and Earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only begotten Son of God.
Born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, light from light,
true God from true God,
begot and not made,
consubtantial with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
He suffered death and was buried

ACTING AS IF THEY ARE NOT DISCIPLES AT ALL.
AND THE COLLUSION THEN CHANGES THE LESSON
THAT WE CAN TAKE FROM JESUS AT THE END.
ITS NOT NECESSARILY ABOUT THE HEALING OF THE BODY,
BUT INSTEAD ITS ABOUT THE HEALING OF THE SOUL.
SO WE HAVE A BLIND MAN AND HE IS NAMED.
WE KNOW THAT HIS NAME IS BARTIMAEUS, THAT HE IS THE SON OF TIMAEUS.
SO ALREADY HE HAS AN IDENTITY BEYOND HIS ILLNESS.
BUT THEN ALONG THE WAY HE DOESNT ACT AT ALL AS IF HE IS BLIND.
SO HE IS CALLING OUT TO JESUS
AND HE IS THE ONE WITH GREAT COURAGE.
HES NOT TIMID ABOUT IT.
HES NOT LETTING HIS HANDICAP KEEP HIM IN THE SHADOWS.
INSTEAD HE IS SHOUTING OUT TO JESUS.
THEN WHEN HE IS TOLD JESUS IS CALLING HIM,
HE JUMPS UP, THROWS OFF HIS CLOAK, AND HE RUNS TO JESUS.
EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM SOMEONE WHO CAN NOT SEE.
WHEN HE COMES TO JESUS, HE CALLS HIM MASTER.
HE SAYS MASTER I WANT TO SEE.
BUT ALREADY HE HAS SEEN WHO JESUS IS.
NOT JUST TEACHER, RABBI, BUT LORD AND MASTER.
SO NOW WE HAVE THE DISCIPLES, THE CROWD.
THEY ARE BUMBLING AS THEY WATCH WHAT IS GOING ON.
AT FIRST THEY WANT TO QUIET THE ONE WHO NEEDS JESUS THE MOST IN THEIR MIDST.
AND THEN WHEN JESUS SAYS CALL HIM, THEY TELL HIM BE OF COURAGE,
WHILE HES THE ONE WITH COURAGE IN THEIR MIDST.
THEY HAVENT NOTICED THE FACT THAT HE IS WITH GREAT COURAGE.
AND THEN, THEN THEY SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING.
AT THE VERY END ITS NOT THE BLIND MAN WHO CHANGES MORE,
BUT ITS THE DISCIPLES, THE CROWD AROUND JESUS.
THEY SUDDENLY GET A NAME OF CHRISTIAN.
THEY SEE JESUS AND WHAT HE HAS DONE.
SO THE LESSON IN THE END IS FOR US TO OPEN OUR EYES,
TO SEE THE PRESENCE CHRIST AROUND US. TO KNOW WHO HE IS.
AND TO TREASURE HIM IN OUR LIVES, WHO CAN DO ALL THAT WE ASK OF HIM.
SO IN THAT FAITH, LET US STAND THEN AND WE PROFESS AND ASK GOD
FOR AN INCREASE IN STRENGTHENING OF OUR HEARTS.
