Shannon Jones: Todd, with the time we have left, let's switch gears just a bit and talk

about two privately-held companies, the first of which is a company called MDLIVE.

It started back in 2006. It sounds very similar, to me, to Teladoc.

But, it's attracted the likes of some big-name healthcare backers and partners.

Todd Campbell: What's interesting for investors to keep an eye on, I mentioned early on when

we were talking about Teladoc that of the big three, Teladoc is the only one that's publicly-traded.

Two more, these other two that you should be keeping your eye on. MDLIVE is one of them.

They have about 30 million consumers that are enrolled as members because of relationships

that they have with different healthcare payers.

They expect to do about 500,000 virtual visits, that's the run rate right now, per year. Smaller.

That's less than what Teladoc did last quarter. Still, a big player.

And, as you mentioned, big investors in the healthcare area, especially as of this year,

through a new capital raise that they did, include Cigna, which is a major insurer,

and Novo Holdings, which is the venture capital arm of Novo Nordisk, a major biopharma company.

Jones: The other company is actually the company that's been behind Apple's health study,

a company called American Well.

For those of our listeners who aren't familiar with the Apple heart study, Apple has been

using an app using the Apple Watch -- wearable devices -- to identify irregular heart rhythms,

including those from potentially serious heart conditions like atrial fibrillation.

The Apple heart study is basically utilizing this video consultation to connect participants

in the study to physicians 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Let's talk a little bit more about American Well, one that I didn't even realize was a

part of this study. It's gotten so much press.

I didn't realize just how connected they were to Apple.

Campbell: This another company that you can't buy yourself, necessarily, unless you're one

of the lucky few. It's a private equity, private venture.

But they're raising a truckload of money -- just shows how much interest there is out there

in telemedicine companies. They just raised $366 million this summer alone.

Participating in that capital raise was Philips, which is one of the global leaders in telemedicine technology.

They're actually going to be joining American Well's board.

Anthem Health is also an investor in this company.

One of the things that's interesting when you look at MDLIVE and American Well is to

see that these insurance companies are taking these equity stakes within these telemedicine providers.

I think that's incredibly encouraging for what their view is of telemedicine in the future,

and how it could change how people get low-cost care.

Jones: Absolutely. Definitely a positive there.

In closing, Todd, it sounds like telemedicine, intriguing opportunity for investors if you're

not already in the space. An even more intriguing value proposition for patients.

Everyone can agree that healthcare costs here in the U.S. are out of control and need to be reined in.

Sounds like telemedicine could be just what the doctor ordered to help with that, Todd.

Campbell: Absolutely. And like most things, don't go crazy with it in your portfolio.

But keep an eye on it. I think it's really exciting.

In ten years from now, these companies are going to be a lot bigger than they are today.

Right now less than half of my families own their own home, and even those that are renting,

they're paying even higher rates in rent even though they're low income status.

I have to increase homeownership, I feel like that one alone helps to stabilize neighborhoods.

People know that when you increase homeownership you increase the economic stability for a

family, but it also increases public safety in our neighborhoods.

There's a culture here of, that's this disconnection with folks back home.

Half of my colleagues are millionaires, they're in an income bracket that's completely disconnected

with the majority of Americans across the country.

They will never understand college debt, they will never truly understand not owning their

own home.

And that disconnection I think somehow we need to change, and I think the way we do

it is electing more women like myself and people like me that can understand what it

means to be poor.

- Alright vlog, we're on a very special mission today.

We are on our way to find thermal socks,

thermal underpants,

maybe some thermal gloves.

We are making up some boxes for the homeless.

Let's go.

Alright, we've got enough to make up two boxes.

We've got thermal socks, regular socks, thermal hats,

and we're going to go to Tescos now

to get toiletries,

like toothpaste, toothbrush,

maybe some deodorant.

Things like that.

And the reason we're doing this

is because, for the obvious reason of helping people

who are homeless,

because who would ever choose that

as their outcome in life?

You've got to help people.

As you move on up,

you got to extend your hand back down,

and help people however you can.

And Tony Robbins once said,

if you won't help people now,

even if you haven't got a lot,

don't think you'll help people when you're a millionaire.

(upbeat music)

So Alice is having a tricky day today,

and we're trying to be honest in the vlog,

and say that we're not always hyper-happy-bunnies.

Sometimes we have moments of low.

So I'm making up two boxes for men,

and Alice is making up three boxes for women,

because she said,

even if she feels sad,

she can always be grateful for what she's got,

and give a little bit back,

aren't you Al?

She said don't put me in the vlog,

don't put me in the vlog.

So the reason we're doing this

apart from what I've already mentioned,

is a really good friend of ours, Gemma,

has decided that this year she wants to do a lot more

to help homeless people.

And it's crazy because we wake up sometimes,

feeling down, feeling sad,

feeling sorry for ourselves,

and yet if you wake up in a warm bed,

and you can have a hot shower and a hot meal,

do you realize how lucky and abundant you are?

And every time I walk past somebody

who's homeless or selling The Big Issue,

my heart pounds,

and it just reminds me

just how much we've got in our life.

No matter what's going on,

if you've got a phone to call somebody,

if you've got wifi to launch a blog,

and if you've got hot running water to make food,

wow, wow.

Gemma has got people all over the north east

making these boxes.

So we're going to contribute five.

(upbeat music)

Hey vlog, so it's a few days later,

but I just want to follow up and show you

what we got for these boxes.

So Alice has made up three boxes worth for women.

So homeless women this Christmas,

and I've made up two boxes for homeless men.

And I just feel really comforted

by the fact that this Christmas,

somebody's going to be wearing

lovely, warm thermal socks that we bought,

or a lovely warm thermal hat,

or dipping biscuits into a cup of tea.

(upbeat music)

So the list that Gemma gave us

was really practical things.

Really practical things like deodorant,

shampoos, thermal hats.

So really please with what we've got here.

And in a minute,

I got a phone call quickly with a client,

with a coaching client,

so I'm getting everything ready,

'cause straight after that,

I'm going over to Coast

to meet Gemma,

to hand over this stuff.

And she said she's been overwhelmed

with the response from people.

So much so,

I think I saw talk of a van on Facebook,

going down to Coventry,

to collect a whole bunch of stuff.

So after this, I'm going to show you what we've got,

then we're going to go over to Coast, see Gemma,

and she's going to tell us a bit more about the project.

So I'm outside Coast with Gemma,

and it was Gemma's idea

to put these boxes together,

but what I didn't realize is,

she's come up with this idea.

She's actually going to be handing out the boxes herself.

So what do you do Gemma?

Tell everyone, 'cause I've done a terrible job

of explaining what this this.

- Okay, so we're going to hand out

things for the homeless. - Yeah.

- Which include normal things that you would have.

Like sweets, chocolates, hats, scarfs, blankets.

Everything they need,

to try and keep them safe and warm.

But we're also going to be

funding lots of books.

Self-help books.

- Oo I like this.

- Yeah, so, Lisa's actually just given me an idea,

'cause we've been debating about,

well what book do we give?

And does it need to be a book that I've read?

So I'm going to buy a load of self-help books,

I'm going to have them on a table,

and then I'm going to say,

which one would you like to take?

And in the back of the self-help book,

I'm going to put my number, my details

and hopefully they'll ring me.

And I can help mentor them,

and get them off the streets.

- That amazing.

So when are you handing out the boxes?

'Cause if people see this vlog,

if they still got time

to actually put a box together.

- So the 1st of December.

So the cut-off date is supposed to be the 24th,

but I'm sure if anybody's got anything in the north east,

I can come and collect.

So in that week between the 24th and the 1st of December,

I can still come and collect,

and pick things up if anybody wants to.

So things like toothpaste,

hats, scarfs, gloves,

waterproof ponchos. - Oo yeah.

- Biscuits, sweets.

- Pens, notepads, deodorant. - Pens, notepads, deodorant.

- Toothpaste. - Shampoo.

Yeah, just anything you would think,

that they would need basically.

- So Gemma's literally getting a table,

and I gazebo did you say?

- I think I'm going to buy a gazebo, yeah.

So I've never done anything like this before,

and I just want to help the homeless,

'cause there's so many on the streets

at the minute,

and also I was nearly homeless at one point.

So I want to try and help people.

But yeah, I'm going to just do my best,

but I'm sure we'll find people to give the stuff to.

- Tell more people about that real quick.

So the reason why you're doing it

is because you came close to being homeless

and you know how it feels. - Yeah.

Yeah, so I came out of an abusive relationship,

when I was--

About 10 years ago. - Yep.

- And during that time,

in the relationship,

I'd get thrown out at like two, three in the morning,

in my pajamas.

I'd walk the streets in the rain,

and there was just one friend that understood,

that would let me go to their house

no matter what time of day it was,

and let me sleep on her sofa.

Because shed been through an abusive relationship as well.

So at that time,

I realized that if I didn't have that one friend,

'cause my family weren't living in the area.

And you also have that shame

that you don't want to go to your normal friends,

that you've grown up with,

because they won't understand.

I realized that I could've become homeless.

And also when we split up,

I didn't really have anywhere to live.

So again through the help of friends,

sleeping on floors and sleeping bags,

I avoided that situation,

but it's so easy to fall from grace.

You don't realize,

I literally swam with dolphins,

earned 60 grand a year,

had an amazing life,

and then met this person,

and over a four year period,

lost everything.

And ended up in a situation

that I never thought I'd be in.

So that's why I want to help these people,

because you don't know their story

at the end of the day.

- God, that's amazing,

'cause it is a reminder

that you see someone, look at the way they're doing,

and you just don't know what they've been through.

But because of that,

it's inspired you to go and do this,

and stand out in the freezing cold,

in the middle of December,

handing out these bags.

So how many boxes do you reckon you've got now?

How much stuff?

- So it's been amazing,

people's response.

I think if you believe in the universe,

you can put something out to the universe,

and the universe will respond really quickly,

if you have no negative beliefs about it.

So I've got an accountants,

that have got 170 staff.

(laughs)

They're doing it as their Christmas mission.

I've got the Ramada Hotel

which are getting their staff to do it as well.

I've got people from Coventry,

from where I live, that have given me loads of stuff

that I got at the weekend.

So I reckon,

I don't know you know,

I really don't know.

I reckon I'm going to have like,

200 boxes made up.

I have no idea.

- Gemma, you're going to have to rent a truck--

- Luckily my boyfriend's got a van.

(laughs)

And he sent my delivery driver,

because if we can't give 200 out in Newcastle,

we're going to go down to Leeds,

and the homeless charity

called Homeless Street Angels.

And they're very much like me.

Two girls that have set up a charity,

that go out and just give stuff to the homeless.

- Wow, this is amazing.

Can You Get Pregnant From Pre-cum? - Duration: 2:41.

One question that many teens are asking these days is should i be worried about getting

pregnant from precum? or Can You Get Pregnant From Precum?

That's what we are going to explore today.

So let's find out.

What Is Precum?

Colloquially called pre-cum, the pre-ejaculatory fluid is also known as pre-ejaculate, pre-seminal

fluid and Cowper's fluid.

It is a clear fluid noticed at the tip of the male genitalia during erection.

The pre-ejaculate is released by Cowper's glands that are found along the male urinary

or reproductive tract.

The function of the fluid is to offer protection to the sperm and neutralize the acidic environment

of the urethra.

Can You Get Pregnant From Precum?

The pre-seminal fluid does not contain any sperm cells, which means that the fluid in

itself cannot get you pregnant.

However, this is not to say that precum can never lead to pregnancy.

In some cases, when the sperm from a previous ejaculation is left behind, the pre-seminal

fluid can carry it to the tip of the penis and help transfer it to your partner's body.

A study conducted in 2011 on 27 pre-ejaculate samples found 11 of those to be containing

semen.

Ten of those samples were observed to have been carrying a significant amount of motile

sperm.

Another study suggested that it also varies from individual to individual.

While the pre-ejaculatory fluid may always contain semen in some men, it may never be

found in the case of others.

It has been found that urinating after an ejaculation can wash away the semen that could

be left behind in the urinary tract.

Otherwise, the sperm cells can survive in the urethra or at the tip of the male reproductive

organ for a long time and remain motile.

One thing you should never forget is that the pre-ejaculate fluid can carry a range

of STDs and STIs, therefore, it is always a better to use protection whenever engaging

in intimate activities with an uncommitted partner.

I'm thrilled you're considering selling your home with me!

As you probably know, my name is Jim Smoak and I'm a Realtor with Carolina One Real

Estate here in Charleston SC.

The purpose of this video is to educate you on my approach to marketing and selling your

home so that when we get together for the first time, we don't have to spend time

talking about me, but we can focus on you and your goals and priorities.

First let's talk about what sells a home and what I bring to the table to accomplish

that goal.

In the area of pricing and negotiation, being able to understand the local market and interpret pricing and statistical trends

is key to coming up with the right price for your home and goals.

Prior to being a Realtor, I've had a career in the technology business sector that has

given me the skills and knowledge to accomplish this. Let's talk about marketing

99% of Millennials search online first before going to see their first listing.

89% of boomers do the same.

Homes are sold in person, but initial interest and desire starts online.

As mentioned before, I've spent an entire career in the technology sector, and I know

how to use technology to rock the interest and desire stage.

Before I get on to what I do to market your home, first let's address the marketing "table steaks" that some agents push as above and

beyond marketing.

When I place your listing in the Multiple Listing Service or MLS, it will automatically

be sent to Zillow.com, Trulia.com and Realtor.com.

Don't get me wrong; this is certainly a good thing to do, and if the MLS didn't

do it, I surely would.

But they do, and agents don't.

So, if an agent in Charleston tells you that he or she will go above and beyond and post your home to these sites,

give them the squirrelly eye.

Now let me cover what goodness Carolina One as to the marketing pie.

As I said, interest and desire is generated online first, and Carolina One will

send your home listing to up to 750 online websites... are there any websites not online?

Sites like MSN, homes.com, The New York Times, Frontdoor, Homefinder, and many more.

This gives your home great national exposure.

Now let's talk about things that I do to market your home. First I use professional photographers.

The last thing we want is for a prospective buyer to find your home, only to see poorly

taken photos with an iPhone.

Here's an example of what is very likely a photo taken by an agent with their phone.

Here's an example of what professional photography can do.

I know which one I'd want if I was selling my home.

I will send out just listed postcards to your surrounding neighbors.

People want their friends and family to live close by, and this gives them a nudge to make

a call.

I will put your listing online on the local Post & Courier website for up to 180 days,

People still read the newspaper, and more and more and more of them read it online. This is going to give you great local online exposure.

I will use what's called a retargeting online service.

When an online visitor views your listing on the Carolina One Real Estate website, that visitor will be

"retargeted" by the service and will start to see your listing on many different websites

they visit across the Internet.

Have you ever looked at a product on Amazon and noticed afterwards that you saw that product

on websites you visited shortly thereafter?

I use the same technology!

I don't want to only depend on buyers finding us on a real estate search site, so I will

advertise your home on Facebook and Instagram.

To be clear, I'm not just going to post it in my normal social network feed.

I'm actually going to build and pay for ads on these social networks to get your home in front of the

people that are likely to be looking for homes.

By just posting it on my feed, it will only been seen by a few of my Facebook friends.

By paying for an ad, Facebook will put it front of 1000's of people that are targeted

specifically as potential home buyers for your kind of home.

I will also promote your home on YouTube, where you are watching this video.

Google owns YouTube, and I ride Google's wave of what's called search engine optimization

to ensure the Google search engine bots find and pick up your listing to be shown in their

search results favorably. As we all know, Google owns the search engine market.

Another thing to take into consideration is the fact that Carolina One Real Estate has a very

percentage of the market share in the Charleston area.

The benefits of that are 1) many people will be drawn to the Carolina One website,

as well as its affiliate websites, and our listings get preferential treatment in

of those sites, which will ultimately make it more available to buyers. And 2), everyone has seen Carolina One branding all over the Charleston area.

So we are a trusted resource in the Charleston market. Lastly, if you have a few projects to take care of prior to putting your home on the market,

I have access to a wide variety of contractors that can help you take care of them all.

"When the people come to support, come on.I don't feel pressure to play at home."I think it would be a lack of respect to the stadium and fans to say we prefer to play away from home, I totally refuse to say that
