Youtube daily do Nov 2 2018

Hello investors, my name is Sagar and in this video, I'll talk about portfolio management

and at the end, I will also give some tips, so you can apply them in your portfolio

so what is portfolio management? Imagine you have 100 000 Rs and you want to invest them in the stock market

So how should you invest that money ? should you put it all in one stock ?

maybe 2 or 3 stocks ? How should you distribute your capital ? That is what we will talk about today.

Usually when you will ask people about capital allocation they will tell you, just put 2 % in any company

that means 2 000 Rs in any company or maybe 10 % ( 10 000 ) Rs in any company

But there is never a fixed number and I will explain this with an example.

Imagine I take you to a shop and I offer you 10 phones (Lenovo , Apple , Samsung, Oppo )

and you can take 6 phones of any brand. If you want you can take 6 phones of the same brand

So what would you do ? if you like apple as a brand , you will take 6 of that .

but this is not what people do in the stock market. In the stock market, if someone likes Apple, they will take 2

but then give me more of Lenovo , Samsung and oppo

Something similar happens in the stock market. You have 5 000 companies in the market

out of 5 000 companies if you like one company , should you buy a lot of it ? or buy just a little and invest in other companies also

That is why I used this example so I can explain that if you like something , you shouldn't be investing just 2%

you should buy a lot because if you like the company and the price, it will give you great returns

but then how much should we invest ? 5 % of our portfolio or 10 % in one company ?

So in the case of 100 000 Rs , 10 %would be 10 000 Rs. I will show you how I do it.

I decided from the beginning that I will invest in only 4 or 5 companies

So in the case of 100 000 Rs , I will invest 20 000 Rs in each company

But why 20 000. There are 2 main reasons. First, when I like something, I like to invest a lot in it.

Just like the example I told you, if I like Apple I will buy more of it.

So , 20 - 25 % is ok but don't invest 70 or 80 % in one company.

that's simply because there is always risk in the stock market as there are elements which we can't control

So, if we invest in breweries and the Government imposes a new rule, that would affect our company

and that is something out of my control and if the company is very small, it might even close

but I know many people who won't feel comfortable investing 20 - 25 % in one company

many friends of mine just invest 10 % in a single company but that's because they are not comfortable with 4 stocks

if you have 4 stocks in your portfolio and you can't sleep well, then 4 stocks is not ideal for you

because that doesn't suit your personality. If you feel comfortable with 10 or 15 stocks

in that case, you should invest in 10 stocks as that's ideal for you and you don't need to invest like me

but I would suggest everyone not to invest in more than 10 stocks, when you invest in more than 15, the effect is drastic

Imagine we both have 100 000 Rs to invest and I invest 25 000 Rs in one stocks

and you decide to invest 10 000 Rs in the same stock. The stock then doubles so from 20 Rs to 40 Rs

My 25 000 Rs investment doubles to 50 000 Rs but you 10 000 Rs investment doubles to only 20 000

So when nay stock doubles or triples, the more you invest in the company, the better results you will have

that's why I suggest investing more in companies that you like

if you invest just 5 % in any company you like, you will be leaving money on the table

but why am I insisting in buying more in a company you like?

when you see other investors, you will see they invest in very small quantities in a single company

So, if they have 100 000 Rs to invest, they will invest 5 000 Rs in one company. That means they will have around 20 stocks in their portfolio

If you want to over perform them, which everyone wants to do , you can't invest the same way they do

if you want to win the same, you will have to do something different, this can be investing 15 or 20 % in a single company

but there is a small disadvantage. If you make a bad investment decision, let's say 2 out of your 4 decisions are bad

then you will take a big loss, so you need to act very carefully. So if it's your first year in investing

Then don't invest 20 %in a single company , better put only 10 % maximum in a single company

and as you get advanced, you can start concentrating your portfolio

So now you can shift from 10 %in a single company to 15 % then 20 and lastly 25 %

I wouldn't recommend more than 25 %as there are some risks which we can't control directly

There is one last advantage. Imagine you have 100 000 Rs and you are going to invest 25 000 s in a single company, firstly you will be very nervous

as you are making a huge bet but you will also do a detailed analysis on the company

because you know you will invest only in 4 companies and if anything goes wrong, you will have big losses

So you will do a great and detailed research and you will benefit from that indirectly.

Things to do at Taroko Gorge in the Link above.

In this video, we will visit the rest of Hua Lien.

After our Taroko Gorge Tour,

the Tour Guide drops us in one of the famous food places in Hualien.

Lao Pai Scallion pancake with deep-fried egg.

You can see the queue of this pancake.

Expect to queue for more that 30 min

it is 30 NTD or around 1.5 SGD.

or 20 NTD without egg

The Pancake is famous because it is Crispy

with golden brown dough and delicious egg yolk inside.

Yes we queue for almost 1 hour for this snacks.

What makes this more interesting is that actually, the owner has 2 food truck

the Yellow and the Blue one.

That is located side by side on the same street.

So you just choose which one has the lesser queue.

In several reviews, it says that the taste is similar between this 2 truck,

While waiting, we try lemon bomb drink that is also crowded.

The location is between this 2 food truck.

So this is a perfect place to rest while waiting for the pancake.

This shop specializes in lemon, you can see that they have a lot of lemons.

Finally almost 1 hour I get the pancake and lemon.

let's go back to the hotel

The lemon is very refreshing, it is also big size.

Pancake is delicious, you can see the egg yolk. nyum nyum

We also buy some snacks while we are at Taroko Visitor Center.

This Crispy mushroom and this ladyfinger snacks.

After taking a rest for 1 hour, we go to Dongdamen night market.

Even the weather is rainy, but we decided to go because this is our last night in Hua Lien

You can find a lot of children games and food stall in Dongdamen night market.

We have Seafood for our dinner before going back to the hotel.

We only spend around 1 hour in the market because the weather is not so good

When walking we found a local supermarket, so we go inside and look around.

Looking for some snacks for tomorrow Journey to Qing Jing Farm.

This one looks cute, can be a souvenir from Taiwan.

Because i love Zhou Zia dumpling, we make a stop to buy several to eat at the hotel.

like i said in the last video, i really love their food, delicious and cheap.

Perfect combo.

I Really recommend this place when you come to Hualien

Do we miss our flight as TYPHOON HITS HONG KONG - Duration: 4:43.

good morning

it is

day five

day five

and we are in Taipei

we're actually going

to be catching our flight to Hong Kong

are we?

you'll see this is our last day in Taipei that's last day we've scheduled

but we have a bit of a weather related issue

what's the weather related issue

there happens to be a category 5 now typhoon

typhoon not hurricane typhoon

headed for

Hong Kong, straight for Hong Kong

well with I mean that's travel, the one thing you can't

control is the weather right?

yeah

and we don't necessarily purposely want to

be headed towards a category 5 hurricane

the eye of the typhoon hurtled

towards Hong Kong bringing with it gale force winds of up to 200 kilometers an

hour roofs were blown off and windows in some high-rise buildings were blown out

trees were sent flying this crane was ripped from a building and collapsed

with 900 flights were cancelled interrupting travel plans for thousands

of passengers most people bunkered down and stayed indoors some of those who

braved the weather was swept off their feet

all right we're gonna get some coffee so we'll talk later

I'm not sure where

we'll see you maybe at the airport maybe not but we'll see you there

so we make our flights and we are all checked in

we're excited to continue our adventure

onto Hong Kong but we are sad to leave our dear friend Jennifer who has taken

us around Taipei and showed us so much a Taipei

and because of her we got to experience so much of Taipei

we love the city

and we

love her

Thank You Jennifer we love you and we miss you

so we got the last flight into Hong Kong basically before this upcoming hurricane

hurricane mangkut which they're calling the worst type which they're calling the

worst storm in the world currently this year and

so we've decided we're gonna go there

coz that's what we do right?

it just all

the flights are locked and cancelled so we couldn't change it, we tried to change

it but we couldn't change it

so we're stuck in we figured we're just gonna get there

get to our hotel and wait it out

we heard ..there's no water, no bottled water

if we have power

and we're stuck in that hotel

I guess we're gonna do some

editing and maybe upload some vlogs

and sleep

and sleep??

coz, you didn't sleep so well last night did you?

I did

i slept more than you did

I know

I literally had only like an hour and a half sleep

This is turning into more of an adventure

so we did have a wonderful time in Taiwan our

friends were fantastic hosts, we didn't even have to think or worry or do anything

so it was really kind of brainless travel for us which is nice for a change

and now we're gonna have to be a little bit more cognizant of where we're going

and what we're doing in fact we got lost because we weren't paying attention

because we

MR

CARLSON

Yes

OH!

How do you fund a Ph.D.? - Duration: 5:51.

Hi, my name is Ryo, and I study mosquito behavior here at UW. Hi—my name is Tony,

and I study climate change, also here at UW Biology. In this short video we will

be covering the three main ways you can find your PhD. The three ways are through

teaching assistantships, research assistantships, and grants, fellowships,

or awards from external funding agencies. It's very common for students to be

funded in more than one of these ways if at different points in a PhD

career. By walking through all three options we hope to enhance your ability

to find the resources that would be helpful for you and your research

project. As a potential grad student in biology specifically, you should know

that it is standard for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Ph.D. students to be given an offer of full

funding, usually guaranteed for at least five years. Typically this funding

guarantee comes either from the department, through teaching

assistantships, or from a potential advisor, through research assistantships,

or a combination of both Just as an aside, if you're looking at a Masters

program in the sciences, things are a little bit different. Professional Masters

programs that are designed to train you for a specific career, like resource

management, do often require students to self-fund. But even if you're only

interested in a Masters right now, you can and should still look for funded opportunities,

which do exist. They usually involve signing up for a specific research

project instead of coming up with your own idea. We'll link to some resources

below. First up, teaching assistantships or TA-ships. Before the beginning of a

new quarter you will have to discuss with your advisor whether you'll be

funded through a teaching assistantship or a research assistantship, which we'll

cover in the next section. Once you and your advisor determine that you'll be

funded through a TA-ship, the next step is to find a class to teach. First ask

your own advisor if they are teaching a class. Teaching a class with your advisor

is a great way to get experience teaching while also familiarizing

yourself with your advisor's working style. If your PI (Principle Investigator, a.k.a. advisor) is not teaching or

does not have a position for you, start asking around. Other graduate

students are great resources for getting the inside information like workload,

content, and teaching style. Your graduate student program coordinator should also be a

great resource for new graduate students looking for TA-ships. It is also

important to note that during a TA appointment graduate students are

expected to split their time between teaching and research responsibilities.

The expected teaching load is (usually) 20 hours per week.

Remember to discuss with the head instructor of the course regarding their

expectations for these 20 hours. It's also important to discuss with

your PI what they expect from you on a quarterly (or semester) basis. Your commitment to

research may change depending on whether or not you accept a

TA or RAship. That brings us to the second way of funding your graduate

education, that is the research assistantship or RAship. RAships are

usually provided by your PI for you to work on specific projects. Some graduate

students may find RAships through other PIs as well, depending on the

project. As mentioned before it is important for you to discuss what is

expected from you during the course of an RAship from your advisor or the PI of

the funded project. Students on RA ships are generally expected to work full time,

40 hours per week on a research project. So what do you do if your PI doesn't

have grant money available to fund you through an RAship? You can actually find

your own funding as well. Graduate students are encouraged to apply for

grants, awards, or fellowships provided through external funding agencies.

Applying for these awards provides valuable experience in obtaining and

managing funds while also allowing new graduate students to develop their own

research program for their PhDs. Many awards are open to students beyond the

first year, so if you feel overwhelmed by applying before you get into grad school

or before you've begun collecting data, you will still have opportunities to

apply once you're in the program. Keep in mind when you find a new potential

funding opportunity, check your eligibility for that award.

If the solicitations are unclear, don't be afraid to call the grant or funding

manager of that specific organization. This is key for you to efficiently

navigate through different funding opportunities. One recommendation for new

students is the National Science Foundation's Graduate research

fellowship program or GRFP. Students may apply to the GRFP within their first

two years of their PhDs (or as senior undergrads!). Once awarded

this fellowship can cover up to three years of your PhD. Another fellowship

that is recommended for graduate students is the Ford Foundation

pre-doctoral fellowship. The Ford Foundation provides a number of

fellowships for scientists at different stages in their careers which are aimed

to promote ethnic and racial diversity in the sciences. Check your eligibility

and find more information at their website below. If you are an

international student looking to apply for funding,

check out any opportunities and support available to you for studying abroad. It

is important to note that many awards in the U.S.. cater towards U.S. citizens or

permanent residents, so again check your eligibility for any award. One we

would like to highlight here is the Fulbright

foreign student program. This program encourages young professionals abroad

who are interested in studying in the United States. To apply or for more

information, check the links below. Additionally, look into the grants

offered by the Rotary Foundation, also linked below. Keep in mind that you must

apply to these programs prior to arriving to the United States. Of course

there are many more opportunities to fund your PhD than the things we've

covered here, but now I want to bring your attention to smaller awards that

may not cover an entire quarter's worth of funding for you but can be very

helpful for finding funds for smaller expenses such as equipment and travel.

There are many local organizations that have very specific interests like the

Mazamas foundation or the American Alpine Club. If your research aligns with

the interests of any of these smaller awards, we highly encourage you to apply.

Alright, well, we hope that covers the basics. The key to funding is to keep

searching. Funding for research big or small is always helpful so be vigilant and

always be ready to read the solicitations. And regarding TAships and

RAships, the key is to communicate with your advisor and the class instructor

regarding the expected time commitments and work. Figuring this out early will

allow you to work around any time constraints and have realistic goals for

the duration of your PhD. So good luck and have fun with your research!

Alright, thanks!

In Analytics, What do the Numbers Really Mean? - Duration: 2:10.

Analytics is a wonderful tool. It gives us real insights into how people are behaving on our site.

But we have to use caution because with analytics there is a dark side.

Not that kind of dark side. The dark side I'm referring to is how we report analytics data.

So let me give you two pieces of sample data. The first one is a conversion rate.

Let's say that we have a conversion rate of 3% Okay?

Now, let's say the next piece of data we have is average time on page. Let's say 2 minutes and 10 seconds

We have two pieces of data here.

And what we have to do is figure out what insights we can draw from this.

On the one hand, if we look at conversion data, we are safe to interpret that that was the intended user action.

They submitted their order. They completed the purchase. There's no wiggle room in what that means.

But when we focus on something like the average time on page,

this could be open for interpretation.

It could be that someone spent a long time on this page,

because they were really engaged with our content, and they read every single word and they loved it.

Or, it could actually mean that they didn't understand anything, that they couldn't find what they were looking for.

Or that the navigation didn't quite make sense to them.

So the first type of data of conversion rate we call this hard data where there's not this room for interpretation.

We know what it means.

But, soft data, like average time on page,

or something like how far down the user scrolls,

or even whether they use search versus navigation when they first get to the site.

Those things require further interpretation.

We need to complement those pieces of analytics data with extra insights

that we can usually get from usability testing.

Next time you're presenting or receiving analytics data,

make sure that you're asking those important questions about whether or not the information

is reporting hard data or soft data.

What do you say after saying Hello: overview - Duration: 2:36.

Hello there and then ...

we are so complex as human being and the big question now is

What do you say to someone after you have said "hello"?

That's what the transactional analysis is giving us

It's a tool that we can use and I think it's really helpful to

understand each other to understand ourselves and then to understand each other to try to

Ya know what to say after "hello"?

so in the 4 next episodes of Kaiko software

We will cover a different subjects of the transactional analysis. The first one is

structural analysis, so it's

basically, we will have a look on our self on the

individual and

we will learn the concept of

Parents Adult and Child, but don't worry. We will cover that in the next episode

After that, we will cover the transactional analysis. So it will involve

order of people and we will see based on the structural analysis of ourselves and the

other individual all we can interact with them

After that so we

Have covered a structural in the transaction and then comes the game analysis

so it's basically when you start to repeating yourself using the

Transaction analysis that you have done before and it's becoming a game, but we will cover that

Of course much more in details later

And in the end in the last episode, it will be the most interesting one

but you need the basic of the three first ones to understand the scenario concept the script concept that

the script concept that

may define your life and this is basically the game that you may repeat and

That's becoming a scenario a script that you are living. I think it would be very amazing experience to

Share with you this principles and maybe to receive some feedback

See you next week to discover the first episode on the transactional analysis

CW Live: The 6 Things You Should Do Everyday To Have A Wonderful Life - Duration: 31:39.

okay good morning everyone welcome back to leadership and success coaching and

another one of our YouTube live sessions I know we've got different people tuning

in today from lots of different places we've got Korea Singapore Hong Kong

Indonesia Japan Malaysia I don't know where else but I know those countries

are definitely on and I'm sure some more of you come on later on today you know

before we get started on something various that's very interesting

this just want to do some maybe logistics you know I know a lot of you

have subscribed to the channel but if you've not subscribed to the channel you

can go ahead and subscribe on the channel after this just one thing I

wanna you know just remind everybody right next to the subscribe button that

is a bell icon I think previously I've not said that before so if you've not

clicked on the bell icon you should go ahead and click on it what what that

means is that every time new videos are being released or there's live sessions

you will get an immediate notification to say hey there's a live session on now

or you know the new video is being released so you won't miss all these

videos that's all so if not click on the bell icon please go ahead and click on

the bell icon all right that is it today I want to talk about this six things

that you should be working on every day I had to have a wonderful life right

okay I know it's a slight deviation well it's not actually a deviation it's a

slight deviation from what we usually talk about which is like sales training

leadership training you know success training so from the from the sound of

it I'm sorry you know this is I you know I'm trying to see if I can you know let

me just flip that around maybe that's easier huh yeah now it's not a deviation

from that it's just from the name it's it's like oh you know maybe this is

something different but actually it has a lot to do with leadership he has a lot

to do with success he has to because this is about you you know okay so back

to me alright and well if you've there you go if you've not connected that's my

social media link and I get started okay point number one the first thing you

want to work on and I think it's probably the most important thing is

this I'm sorry have to keep flipping back info because youtube doesn't for

some reason they can do this is your health that's the first thing you want

to be working on every single day right so so so this is what I want to talk

about today I want to talk about all the things that you know every day when you

wake up like today for example we can start from today you know but tomorrow

and every other day these are the six things that you should say hey you know

what have I done these things you know sort of like a mini checklist to help

there so the first thing is your health why do I say that because your health is

your wealth you know no people hear that a lot you know it sounds a bit cliche

but it's true because what's the point of having so much money if you're sick

you know what's the point of you know you know having being famous being very

successful but but you know you can't have the life to enjoy it

so I think I've seen so many people including myself right this is something

I've learned and and it's something I've done myself mistake I made myself that

I've sacrificed my health so much sometimes that I stop and I see and I

realized I said on a second I said what am i doing all this for at the end of

the day I'm doing all this for myself for the people around me for my family

so that I can enjoy it so that I can have a great life so but if I'm

sacrificing my health too much you know then I start to wonder hey you know like

is it really worth it you know and and what I mean by that

is just some really simple things like you know I want to start with very basic

stuff like food like what you eat I know people know me people that know

me know that I you know care a lot about food but I don't mean like you know

choosing good food or you know going to expensive restaurants or you know I

don't mean that kind of stuff I just mean eat right you know I just

mean eat on time you know I when I was starting out running my business I used

to be so busy that sometimes I eat at like 3 o'clock

you know once and then you know and and I'll have dinner like at 9:30 p.m.

there's nothing wrong with that it's not like oh you gotta have lunch at 12:00

you're gonna have dinner at 6 you know it's not like that I don't mean exactly

that it's okay that you you have lunch a little bit later it's okay to have

dinner a bit later and things like that but just be very aware you know that

health is well you know that's you don't want to be sick you know there are

people that you know don't get enough sleep if you are so stressed and and you

can sleep well then I think that's not really right so here are a few basic

stuff I know you hear all the time but I just you know think that it's worth

mentioning you should absolutely sleep well because that recovers your brain

that recovers your body you should eat well right don't eat junk food like

KFC's McDonald's and all that kind of shit you should drink lots of water and

one other thing you absolutely should do is you should exercise it doesn't have

to be heavy extreme exercises even just go for a walk you know three times a

week why is that so because it helps metabolism it helps your body function

it's important when you exercise your brain works better your body functions

better just everything gets better so I think it's really

really important that if you want to lead people and you wanna you know be

successful in life in business that you have a healthy life and exercising is a

big part of that okay all right so that's the first thing the second thing

you want to work on is this is your brain these this is the second thing you

want to work on every day okay what I mean by that as a leader you know

we if you're tuning into this you're probably a leader leading someone you

know leading a team leading a business or even just leading yourself right you

cannot lead people you cannot continue to lead people effectively if you are

not learning every day if you're not improving and I think your brain forms

such an important part of who you are and if you fit your brain something good

every day you know you become better every day

so what I mean by that is two different areas

number one the way you can work on your brain is with information right learn

something you know read about something and and you can do that by obviously

reading watching youtube videos you know documentaries stuff like that even just

surfing the weapon not just for Jung and you know celebrity or gossip shit but

just you know learning something and and that can be anything that can be you

know you can be learning about

leadership sales success anything right feed your brain with information that

helps you improve that's one the second thing that you can

work on your brain about is about positivity about mentality success

goal-setting kind of thing so your brain is like muscle right and your brain is

also like your body what you feel it is what you become so if you feed your

brain positive information successful theories and you train your brain to

think to to fight to be better every day that your brain becomes stronger and you

become stronger so I think your brain is such an important part of you being a

leader and you being successful so do something

hey good morning do something to to your brain

positively every single day okay the third thing you should be working on

every day are your relationships right your relationships

well

relationships with poo families friends partners your business partners your

team you know every day you should work on that every day why because really how

a healthy hey a healthy relationship is critical to a healthy life and so it's

not easy if your relationships are under stress or broken right and I mean that

in all different ways whether that's relationship with family or friends or

or your partners or even with your team so you want to look at your

relationships and you want to say alright which areas of my relationship

need some work and you know you can't possibly spend every day with friends

and business and and partners like every day it's not possible but you want to

look at evaluate that area and say alright which part am I gonna work on

today and what I mean by that is you want to spend quality time not

necessarily quantity time like okay I'm gonna spend like three hours you know

but just quality time and what I mean by that is be there be present you know if

you've decided that you want to spend maybe you know a couple of hours with

your mom and dad be there you know don't be there and be on the phone and be

doing something else if you decided you want to spend a call you know a couple

hours with your kids a couple of hours with your boyfriend or girlfriend with

your wife or husband just be there you know like that make sure it's quality

you know be present and be engaged in the conversation you know get to know

the alive get to know what's going on but don't be half in and half out and I

think that's really important so having good relationships or healthy

relationships is actually quite critical to your success so so identify the areas

that probably more walk and go ahead and walk on those

right there every day okay the next area you want to work on is this is your

finance okay that is the fourth area you want to work on every day let's be

honest I think we all need well not me but we all want more money right so if

you you know for us the chief our financial goals one of the first thing

you actually need to do is the set one right for us to achieve our financial

goals you actually have to set one here's the funny thing a lot of people

that I've I've met I've coached I've trained they don't have one they don't

have a financial goal they don't have you know it's you can't just say I want

to be rich you can't just say I want to have a big house in a big car that's not

enough because that's not the correct goal

you actually want a number what how much do you want to make in the next five

years in the next ten years and then you break it down I know you've

you've heard about this you know five years ten years break it down to one

year break it down to per month break it down to per day so what is your goal

this year how much do you want to make this year how much do you want to save

you know or some people you could translate that via a different thing

what do you want to buy what do you want to get this year maybe your you know

trip to this place a trip to that place maybe you want to invest in this you

want to invest in that maybe you want to borrow a car this year maybe you want to

buy a house buy next year something along those lines right so you can

either put it as an actual number or you can put it as a physical material goal

and then you can translate that goal into a number

I also want to talk about one of my experience which is you know sometimes

we there are things that you want to buy or there are financial goals you want to

achieve or things you want to get but maybe you can't afford it you know maybe

it's just really expensive maybe it's a sports car

maybe it's a Porsche maybe it's a Ferrari maybe it's a really expensive

condominium maybe it's an expensive house maybe it's a 20 it's a it's a one

month trip to Europe or you know it's it's a 15 day trip to USA so maybe some

of these things are just really too expense maybe it's a business class

ticket whatever right the fact that it's actually expensive it's worth you

checking it out because when you know you can't afford it but you know how

much it costs it you you can actually start working out how to get it because

that's how I started you know when I first went into you know the Porsche

showroom or well you know when to see really expensive properties I realized

that it was like wow this is like so expensive like I can't afford it

you know but because I knew how expensive it was how much it cost and I

started putting it down as a financial goal I started working out on okay how

can I afford it it's so expensive I can't afford it now but what do I need

to do or how much would it take for me to get it so then I started working it

up in three years in four years you know and every year if I do this if I do that

if I achieve this level if my business gets to that level if my team can

achieve that then I can get that so so it's okay if some of the things that you

your goal that you set you can't afford it now but understand how much it costs

work it out and break it down and how can you get it how can you get there and

I think that's something that you can work on every single day um the other

thing I want to talk about in terms of just your financial goals is I think you

want to work on you know developing high income skills

you know because obviously if you've got big financial goals you need you know to

make a lot of money and to make a lot of money you gotta have the ability to you

know you gotta have high income skills and I say high income skills there are

lots of high different high income skills you know two of them is relevant

to what we do number one is obviously sales you know

selling the ability to sell there's a high income skill right ability to sell

consistently every day it's a high income skill it's a skill that a lot of

people don't have the second skill a high income skill is investing you know

so so these are just two high income skills that you should learn and you

should develop yourself into for you to achieve some of these financial goals

okay number five the number five thing you should work on every single day for

you to have a wonderful life is you got to work on something you're not good at

right something you're not good at

so everyday work on something you're not good at right identify an area of

yourself of your life that you feel that hey you know what that needs improvement

oh you know that's just it's something I'm not really comfortable with it's

something I'm not I'm not familiar or something I'm not great at you know and

and and challenge yourself you know and and that could be anything right it

could be it could be it doesn't have to be it doesn't have to be relevant to

what you do at work or your business it doesn't necessarily have to be there but

it can't be right it could be maybe maybe you're not good at public speaking

and you want to look on that maybe you're not at you know planning ahead

you know maybe you're just not a good planner you know and you you plant very

short time maybe you want to work on that maybe you're not good at being

focused for a long period of time maybe you want to work on that maybe you're

not good at communicating ideas messages maybe you want to work on that

leadership or even personal things like you know personal skills maybe dancing

singing you know just pick something pick something that you feel you're weak

at but it's an area you feel that you should get better or you want to get

better then work on it why do I say this is important because when you work on

something you are not good at it makes you uncomfortable right it makes you

nervous and you're out of your comfort zone but I find that's what makes

everyday have a bit of meaning it makes you feel like a life if you know what I

mean when you do the same thing every day and you know that you can do it and

you just just good at what you do you just cruise in and you're not feeling

nervous you're not feeling you know uncomfortable you're not challenging

yourself you're not pushing yourself to the limits

I don't know that they just went past with without a lot of without a lot of

meaning but when you break out of your comfort zone you do something you just a

bit nervous about I think you just come alive you know and that makes that day

and that you're living that that month that year your life just more meaning

for a bit more colorful be more exciting if you know what I mean

now at the end of you know the day the week the month will you be working on

something for a while you will get better and will you get better guess

what you're gonna feel more confident you're gonna feel good and more comfort

about yourself so it's actually a great thing to be working on something that

you're not good at right so that's the number five and the last thing that you

should be working on every day to have a wonderful life is giving work on giving

right what I mean by that

see in my opinion we every day can only do two things you either give or you

receive she and I mean that that's the fact so you're either either giving to

people contributing to the society contributing to the people around you

helping lift people up or you're receiving you know you're waiting for

people to give to you you're receiving motivation you're receiving from the

world you're absorbing Hey look there's nothing wrong with receiving there's

nothing wrong with taking I take every day from different people from different

things you know but I also want to make sure that hey you know that I'm not just

taking that I'm not just receiving from the people around me like oh you know

thank you what and I don't mean physical gifts I

mean emotional intellectual and a lot of other things you know I receive every

day but I want to make sure that hey I don't want to be just receiving I want

to be giving I want to give to people around me I want to you know and let me

tell you what you can give but but let me get to that in the world like I want

to explain this very interesting phenomenon right and and I'm sure some

of you would feel the same way in the past I was very happy you know when

every time people give me something right whether it's a present or a gift

whether it's my birthday or you know just when they visit you know Thailand

and then you know and we meet and then people keep me stuff I'm so excited I'm

so happy oh thank you so much but here's the funny thing when you give to people

when I when I bought something or thought of something for someone and it

gave it to them and the join your face that surprised that things that

appreciation that feeling I get is actually way better than when I receive

right do you agree some of you will feel the

same way you know that you feel good when people

you something but what you give and you see how people feel you feel even better

right so what are some other things you can give other than actual presence and

stuff right of course money uh-huh

you can donate money time you can give time but other than money and time which

are the two very obvious things you can give energy right he this is this is

funny thing give energy to people around you people like energetic people people

like enthusiastic people influence the world with your energy passion give

passion right share your passion with the people around you give gratitude

these are the things that sometimes we don't think of but you can give right be

thankful safe thanks thank people for the little things thank you for being

there thank you for listening thank you for understanding me thank you for not

giving up you know just being grateful thank you for all the problems you give

me because that will make me a better person thank you for all the bullshit no

things like that right thank you for your advice right right

sorry not thank you for everything give advice right give advice give help to

people give forgiveness right so these are a lot of things other than money and

and and and time that you could you could give because if you really think

about it there are so many things we could give we could contribute and we

could share with people around us right and just to end it off I think it is

very important however that when I say give we or you don't

expect anything in return sometimes I know it feels a bit sad when you give

and give and give and you know not everyone appreciates it not everyone is

thankful or sees what they get or sees the value in what they get and sometimes

we feel bit hurt you know there are I've given you so much advice I've given you

so much help you don't seem to appreciate I give you so much time you

don't seem to care I've given you so much of this and that you don't seem to

be thankful but that's just it you know like what we want to do for ourselves is

to give with no expectation you know and expect nothing in return so and and that

is that is something that we do for us not for them okay all right great so

that's all we've got for today you know I always keep these videos you know as

short and sharp as possible I was just you know thinking hey to deviate a

little bit from our usual success leadership stuff just talk a bit about

life and about what we could do every day so these are the things you know

that I think of you know that everyday I try to focus on these things and I try

to work on these things for myself every day and I wanted to share with all of

you let me know what you think you know and you know even after this video you

can still put in your comments and if you agree with these six things if there

are seven eight-nine that you personally think that you work on you know it would

be great to share with the community so fill it in the comment section that if

it's other than these six there are other things that you want to contribute

I think that would be great and if not just let me know what you think so let

me just summarize the six things again let me just flip over and summarize the

six things okay so working on your health

okay so focus on your health every day make sure you're healthy otherwise it's

really pointless with all the money in a success you've got and you

healthier sick all the time work on your brain right as a leader of people of

businesses even yourself you want to make sure that you're learning you're

challenging yourself every day you're growing so that you can continue to lead

effectively you want to work on your relationships because healthy

relationships means a healthy life and means that you can succeed better and

that is family friends partners kids your team your people just anyone around

you and and you don't want to you know have a broken or stressful relationship

look on your finance obviously everybody wants more money and having a financial

goal knowing what you are supposed to achieve today this month this year next

five years is critical to having more money you can't just say I want more

money how much do you want work on something you're not good at breaking

off your comfort zone makes you feel alive working on anything that's whether

it's relevant to your business or not public speaking leadership skills you

know or even just your own things you know being stronger being fitter being

more focused and the last thing giving giving to people not just money and time

giving help giving advice giving gratitude and just sharing you know

giving energy sharing with people around you helping a community and give with no

expectation of anything in return okay so alright everybody this is it

thank you all for tuning in and as usual I hope everything we've talked about

help to you today and if you like what you watched of course subscribe hit the

like button and remember the comment section right you know I what I really

would like everybody to do is share with the community you know like tell

everybody what you feel not just watch and you know in line with giving give

back to everybody else that's coming on to watch after this you know

and tell them what you think you know whether you agree there's six things or

you know pick one of those things that you've been working on or if you have

seven eight nine ten please feel free to add it to the list

and that is it there will be more videos coming your way and I will see you all

next time take care bye
