Youtube daily how Nov 3 2018

Hey there, this is Clay with modernlove.life and this is Relationship Inner Game.

Now this is actually the fifth video in a series that we're putting together on how

to connect with your ex on a deeper level and this video is on the topic of how to make

your ex want you back.

And really when, when you think about it, the only way that your ex is going to want

to get back together with you is if the connection between the two of you feels great and feels

amazing, right?

Your Ex is only going to want to get back into a relationship with you if they know

that it's not the same relationship or the same dynamic or the same situation that caused

them to leave the relationship in the first place.

So the best way to show them that things are going to be different is of course to demonstrate

that there is an actual, real, tangible, meaningful change.

One of the best changes that you can make to show your ex that things are absolutely

going to be different and to make them want you back is to really connect with them on

a deeper emotional level because our emotional connections that we have with our partners

are really the glue that binds our relationship together.

You know it's not really any of these superficial things like text messaging or toys and gadgets

that we have or like a hot bottle, although that doesn't hurt.

But the thing that really makes a relationship work is the quality of the connection that

the two of you have.

So if you can simply just ignore all of this other stuff that is getting in the way, like,

oh, they didn't like this post on facebook, suddenly what does that mean?

Oh, they unfollowed me on this social media platform.

What does that mean?

They, you know, weren't at this party that our mutual friend was having.

What does that mean?

If you can just set all that stuff aside and just focus laser sharp on the quality of the

emotional connection that the two of you are having, then that is all you really need to

get back together with them and to make your ex want you back.

Now, in the previous four videos, we've talked about some of the different things that you

can do to lay the foundation and to start building up these layers of positive interactions

that will make your ex want to come back to you.

If you really put these together and really start practicing these and really start combining

these, then you'll absolutely be able to have a much more positive impact on your ex.

If you can continue to have that positive impact and sustainably have these great interactions

with each other, then yes, your ex will eventually start to open up to you again.

Yes, your ex will start to share what's going on emotionally with you again and yes, your

ex will eventually want to get back together with you again.

If they truly believe that the two of you are having this strong emotional connection.

If they truly believe that the two of you are better off together than you are a part,

and if they truly believe that something fundamentally is different for the better in the relationship

and in the dynamic between the two of you, that is what is going to make your ex want

you back.

So once again, I hope you found this video series helpful.

If you are watching this on Youtube, please head down below and click on the link that

will take you over to our website relationshipinnergame.com where you can sign up for a series of tips

and strategies that will help you get back together with your ex by simply

filling out a short, painless, 30-second questionnaire about what is going on in your relationship

and what the specifics are.

Okay.

If you're watching this over on our website and modernlove.life, again, you can just go

down below this video and there'll be a link there that will take you to another page where

it will show you how to put all of these different things together to really allow you to create

these amazing connections between you and your ex.

We teach these things called advanced relational skills that actually help you to have deeper,

more meaningful interactions.

Of course we've just scratched the surface with this video series, but we actually spend,

you know, actually quite a bit of time in delving into more of the nitty gritty and

specifics about what it takes to have a deep, meaningful connection with your ex.

The kind where you know, maybe the two of you get together for coffee or something.

And at the end of that coffee date, neither one of you really wants to say goodbye.

And you have one of those long drawn out moments where the two of you are just kind of lingering

and looking for some excuse to kind of keep things going.

Right?

That is absolutely not unheard of and that is absolutely something that can happen for

you, but first you need to go down below and click on that link.

Anyway, this has been clay with modernlove.life.

This has been the Relationship Inner Game experience, and if you like this video, please

go ahead.

Give us the thumbs up if you want to see more videos from us, go ahead and leave a comment

down below.

This has been Clay once again, and I'll see you next time.

Please take care.

What is Set Sail, and how does it work? - Duration: 4:40.

hey guys it's Jonathan here from set sail and today I just wanted to take a

couple of minutes to explain what set sail actually is and how you guys can be

a part of it. We believe that art is one of the most powerful languages and most

effective ways of communicating something in today's world and we can

see a renaissance happening in the church right now of artists and creators

realizing the potential that they have to proclaim the message of Jesus through

the things that they create whether that's music, design, film, photography, any

kind of creative expression. We live in such a connected world right now that

art can have a profound impact on a global scale and culture is shaped by

its creators. And that's why at Set Sail we're passionate about exploring that

space where faith meets art and we believe that together with other

creators we can see a new missions movement proclaiming the message of

Jesus through the things that we create. And at Set Sail we spend a lot of time

doing exactly that. Whether it's writing songs as Rivers & Robots, traveling on

tours and missions trips around the world to share the gospel, making videos,

designing artwork - we want to create beautiful things that point people to

Jesus. But one of our main aims with Set Sail is to equip, encourage and inspire

other artists and creators. Yes, we can do our own projects but if this is really

going to be a global movement we need to take the time to invest in each other.

Some of the ways we do that include our YouTube channel, where we share our

journey as we go and also give some practical tips of the things that we're

learning along the way. We also look to give a platform to artists through our

website our, Instagram account, our playlists and locally at our monthly

worship nights called 'Gather', where we bring in different artists each month

and share their songs with people right in the heart of Manchester, and we've

seen people become Christians and getting connected to churches through

these events which is amazing. Another thing we're starting to do is to run

workshops in some of the cities that we go to on tour so that we can gather

the creators together and help encourage them and invest in those guys so that

they can continue to have long-term impact in their cities. Now over the last

few years of running Set Sail we've seen so many amazing testimonies come through.

I met a girl recently on tour who came and told me that she always felt God was

calling her to be an artist but had kind of suppressed that because she felt like it

wasn't valued by the people around her and it was through coming across Set

Sail and watching our videos and seeing our website that she actually felt

inspired to start creating again and that's exactly the reason we do this

kind of thing. We also get people emailing the band quite regularly now to

tell us that our music's genuinely had an impact in their life helping their walk

with God and for some people it's even played a role in them coming to faith

which just blows us away every time.

And these are just some

of the things that can happen when we step out and use this creativity that

God's given us. Now people often ask me if there are ways that they can support

what we're doing and help us to keep going and the answer to that is yes. So

three years ago myself and Nathan from Rivers & Robots decided to quit our

jobs and go full-time running this thing called Set Sail and we decided to live

as missionaries which means that all the money we make through the band whether

that's in album sales tour in merchandise - we invested all of that

into Set Sail to help us to create more music and run gather events and make

videos and do missions trips, and we decided to raise financial support like

missionaries to be able to actually live and sustain ourselves to do this

full-time. And that's still the way that we work now we actually have a team of

supporters who give financially to help us run this thing and pursue this vision.

We send out regular updates to these guys to let them know what we've been

doing each month and things that they can be praying for us moving forward and

as cliche as it sounds, we literally couldn't do what we do without our

support team, and I know some of them will be watching this video as well so

if that's you - thank you! This is something we haven't really spoken about

much in our videos but today we wanted to extend that invitation to you guys

and say if this is something that you're passionate about and you want to help us

to sustain this thing, we'd love you to be a part of our support team. To do that

all you need to do is go to the support page on our website timetosetsail.com/support

and there's a forum on there where you can give a

donation whether it's a one-off gift or a monthly donation and even if it's just

a little bit honestly it's such a big help to us as a team particularly at the

moment because we're actually looking to expand the team and Caleb our drummer is

hoping to join us full-time once he's finished his music course and also our

new guitarist Phillip Shibata who's going to be moving over with his wife

and daughter to come and join the team which is amazing and we'd love to be

able to increase our support, so that we can help them in that transition. For a

long time now it's been mostly me and Nathan running this thing which has been

pretty crazy to be honest and we're really looking forward to having a few

more hands on deck and expanding the team so that we can pursue this vision

of making Jesus known through creative worship. If you're not able to support us

financially at the moment that's totally fine you can also sign up for the prayer

email on the same support page and you'll get the monthly update that we

send out to our supporters so you can be knowing what to pray for us for and still

feel a part of what's going on. And of course, we still want everything that we

create to be freely available online and through our channel and we're going to

continue doing that and this is just an opportunity if you want to help us

sustain this thing full-time. Thank you so much for listening and if you do

want to get involved don't forget, timetosetsail.com/support

and we'll see you soon in another video

How to Wear Animal Print | Leopard Print Outfit Ideas - Duration: 3:36.

Hey,guys! What's up?

I'm Styledirector EUNBI

오늘은 호피무늬 아이템으로

다섯가지 스타일링 방법을 보여드릴게요

Today, I'll show you how to styling with leopard item.

모자,스커트,아우터등 호피아이템으로 스타일링을 했어요

I did the styling with leopard item, hat, skirt, jacket etc.

Please understand that these products have

no product info because they are vintages or old products.

제가 추천해드리는 키워드로 검색하시면

If you search by the keyword I recommend,

비슷한 제품을 찾을 수 있습니다

you can find a similar one.

호피베레모 스타일링이에요

This is a leopard beret style.

상하의 전부 블랙컬러로 입은 후,

After you wear all black color up-and-down,

호피모자로 포인트를 준 코디입니다

spiced fashion with a leopard hat.

전부 블랙이면 너무 심플하니까

It's too simple if it's all black.

시스루 와이셔츠와 블랙 데님 스커트로 소재의 차이를 주었어요

so I made a difference of material with see-through dress shirt and black denim skirt.

Since there is a silver zipper on the skirt, it will be pretty

when you wear a silver necklace to make a unified point.

옷이 블랙이라 베레모 색상은 대부분 컬러가 다 잘어울리고

Most of the color will match because of the black clothes.

And it can be a point.

레오파드 패턴은 자칫 잘못하면 올드해보일 수 있지만

Leopard pattern could look old in a wrong way.

이런 플레어스커트에 들어간 호피무늬라면 귀엽게 입을 수 있어요

But leopard pattern in this flared skirt will be a cute way to ware.

신발은 부츠같은것보다는 운동화,

Shoes are sneakers than boots.

상의는 캐주얼한 데님자켓을 매치하면

And if you match casual denim jacket,

발랄한 느낌으로 호피무늬패턴을 즐길 수 있어요!

you can enjoy leopard pattern in a lively way!

I made pigtail hair

To someone feels uncomfortable with the leopard patterns.

작은 아이템인 가방부터 시작하는걸 추천할게요!

I recommend you to start with a small item like a bag!

상의는 블랙니트 하의는 블랙스키니로 깔끔한 스타일을 입은 후

After you wear a clean style with black knitwear top and black skinny jeans bottoms,

호피가방을 매치하면 포인트가 되기때문에 부담없이 트렌드를 따라해볼수있어요

you can follow the trend by matching with a point leopard bag.

호피무늬가 가방이아니더라도 신발, 악세사리도 좋아요.

It's okay to use shoes, accessories not a bag.

맨투맨, 후드같이 캐주얼한 이너에 호피무늬 아우터 하나만 걸쳐주면 스타일리시해보여요

It looks stylish if you just put on a leopard jacket with some casual inner wear like a sweatshirt, hoodies.

When your jacket is thick with fur,

상의만 밸런스가 몰려있고 캐주얼한 느낌이 강해보인다면

it is unbalanced to the top and looks too casual.

I recommend you to wear mesh stockings on your bottom. If you

uncomfortable with this, wear color socks, 20 denier stockings etc

또는 컬러가 들어간 팬츠를 추천할게요

or colored pants are recommended.

마직은 호피아우터와 화려한 악세사리 스타일링이에요

Last is a styling with leopard jacket and fancy accessories.

블랙상의에 깔끔한 스커트를 매치,

Matching neat skirt with a black top,

상하의가 어둡기때문에 답답해보일 수 있기때문에

It could look stuffy because of dark up-and-down,

중간에 벨트를 착용해 시선을 분산시켜줬어요

I diffused attention wearing a belt in the middle.

다소 평범해 보일 수 있기때문에 호피무늬와 어울리는 골드컬러로

It could look normal so matched with suitable gold color for leopard pattern.

화려한 악세사리를 매치해서 코디를 완성할 수 있어요

I complete the style matching gorgeous accessories.

악세사리가 화려하기때문에 기본베이스는 블랙으로 깔끔하게 입어야 투머치를 막을 수 있답니다!

Since the accessories are fancy, you should wear basic things in neat black to avoid too much.

요즘 유행인 레오파드 패턴! 화려하다고 겁내지말고 도전해보세요

Today's fashion trend leopard pattern! Don't be afraid of fanciness and try it!

앞으로 이런 소소한 스타일링 팁 영상을 많이 가져올게요!

From now on, I will bring this trivial tip videos a lot!

How to Make a Slipcover - Duration: 11:47.

Hey guys, it's Clara from Online Fabric Store

This chair has seen better days. So I'm gonna make a slipcover for it

You can use many different fabrics like denim, twill, canvas or home decor fabric

The methods used in this tutorial can be adapted to many other styles of chairs and couches

So let's get started

The materials you'll need are: Medium weight fabric, I'm using 9.3 ounce natural cotton canvas, a ruler,

piping (also called cording or welting) hook and loop velcro, pins, a fabric marker, scissors, thread, an iron

and a sewing machine

Pre-wash your fabric if you plan on washing your slipcover in the future

I'm going to use the chair as a guide to determine where to put the seams in the piping

Start by pinning the fabric to the chair and roughly cutting out pieces for each panel

My fabric doesn't have a front and a back but if yours does the wrong side should be facing out

I'll start with the inside back piece that wraps around the top

The back will have an opening so the slipcover is easy to get on and off

The opening will start partway down the back so it's more hidden

The inside back piece should wrap over the top and end just past the arms, which is where the opening will start

You can put in a zipper snap tape ties or velcro, which is what I'm using

Pin it to the chair in several places to keep it from slipping

Cut the fabric but leave plenty extra for now

Pin and cut the rest of the pieces

For this chair I'm cutting 2 side pieces, the seat piece, 2 inner arm pieces, and a front piece that wraps around the sides

Also cut two overlapping pieces for the lower back

Pay attention to the grain of the fabric to keep it as straight as you can

This chair has clean lines, but this method works the same way for wingback chairs and arms with Scrolls

Just follow the existing seams of your chair. If your cushion is removable cut the pieces for it separately

See our tutorial on making a box cushion for instructions

Many slipcovers have a skirt around the bottom, but for this chair I'm going to make velcro tabs

for the front and sides that will attach to the bottom of the chair for a clean look

For these 3 tabs I'm cutting fabric that's 3 inches wide, and the length is the distance between the legs

That's 20 and a half inches for the front and 19 and 3/4 inches for the sides

At this point you can also create the piping

See our tutorial and making piping for instructions

I'm going to mark where each seam will be

Since this slipcover will be washed I'm using a water soluble marker

On regular seams mark on top of the seam

Wherever there's piping mark on the inside of the piping

You may have to make some relief cuts in towards the curves so the fabric will lay flatter

This chair has darts on the arms so mark where these will be sewn

I like to leave at least an inch of extra fabric, so there's room to make adjustments if necessary

Take the two overlapping back pieces and square off the edges

The exact size of the pieces doesn't matter just yet

Create a half inch double folded hem on the bottom of both pieces

On the inner edges fold an iron half an inch, then 1 inch

Cut out some of the bulk at the corners before sewing the inner edges and bottoms

Measure the distance between the bottom of the chair and the top of the arms. Cut the velcro to this length.

Sew the strips of velcro to the front of one piece and the back of the other

about an eighth of an inch in from the bottoms and sides

Velcro the pieces together. Mark and cut the fabric half an inch above the velcro

Center and pin the velcro pieces on the back so that they're hanging past the bottom about 1/4 of an inch

Mark the center of the upper back piece and sew the pieces together with right sides facing and a 1/2 inch seam allowance

Pin the pieces on the chair with the wrong side facing out. Mark the outer edges of the velcro pieces

I'm going to start by sewing the piping to the sides of the chair

The piping wraps around all the edges except for the bottom

Pin the piping so the markings on the fabric match up with the seam of the piping

Leave extra piping on the ends

The raw edges of the piping should be facing out

Make any adjustments if needed

If your chair or couch has scroll arms you will most likely want to sew the piping to these pieces instead of the sides

Sew with a piping foot or a zipper foot

Pin it back on to the chair. Do the same thing for the other side panel

Straighten the top line on the front piece. Pin and sew the piping on to the top of the front piece

You can sew the pieces together in just about any order

I'm going to start by sewing the side panel to the inner arm piece

First I have to create the dart on the arm by sewing on the line

Cut off the extra fabric so that it will lie flat

Pin the side and arm panels together. So the lines match up

Sew tightly against the piping

Put the slipcover back on to make sure the pieces fit correctly. Pin and sew the back pieces to the side panel

Take it slowly around the curves and make relief cuts if needed

Stop a little before where the inner arm piece meets the side panel

Put the slipcover back on the chair. The next seam I'm sewing is for the inner arm and back piece

You may have to adjust the markings

Also mark the intersection where the arm back and side pieces meet

You can rip out some stitches if needed to have the intersection in the right position

Pin and sew the arm piece to the inside back piece

Check where the lines are for both pieces as you sew. This curve can be a little tricky,

so don't worry if it's not right the first try. You can always rip it out and make adjustments

Do the same thing for the other side of the chair. Then pin and sew the front and seat panels together

Next sew the seat panel to the arms, then to the back panel. Adjust the markings if needed

You might not be able to get close to the bulky intersection with a sewing machine,

but you can hand sew it later

Put on the slip cover right side out to test the fit and make adjustments if needed

Attach the side panels to the front panel

At the intersection of the front piping and the side piping cut back the end of the cording on the front to reduce bulk

You can now do any hand sewing that's necessary

For the three velcro tabs on the bottom iron the pieces in half and fold in the ends half an inch

Cut the soft loop side of the velcro to the right length and sew them to the strips close to the folded edge

With the slipcover on fold up the fabric so it's in line with the bottom of the chair

Pin the piping then the velcro tabs to the bottom of the slipcover

I'm doing one side at a time

At the back corners cut the ends of the cording back and arrange the fabric and piping so it looks neat

Also cut back the end of the cording where the side panel piping meets the bottom piping

Sew one side of the chair then repeat for the front and the other side

You will need to finish the inside seams in some way if your fabric frays and you plan on washing it

The easiest way is to Serge the seams which cuts off the excess fabric as the edges are sewn

If you don't have a serger,

You can trim the extra fabric and use a zig zag or overlock stitch on your machine

If you used a water-soluble marker like I did, you can now wash the slipcover to remove the markings

Using the rough hook side of adhesive backed velcro on the bottom of the chair to attach the velcro tabs

You can also use the sew-on hook velcro that you used for the back opening and staple it to the bottom of the chair

Put on the slipcover velcro the back and bottom tabs and the slipcover is done

The great thing about slipcovers is they're washable

Whether you're covering ugly are stained upholstery or want to protect nice upholstery making your own slipcovers is inexpensive and practical

Snowboard Lesson On How To Repair Your Snowboard Part 2 - Duration: 7:57.

This Online Snowboard video we'll go over how to repair your board when you get rock core shots

So I've got my iron on and it's smoking that means it's way too hot

I like to have on my my iron I actually set the temperature and if it's starting to burn -it's too hot

Let's turn it down because if you start burning your wax, it's it's going to turn into something different. It's gonna actually

The wax it was kind of like with P-tex it gets that extra carbon. You're burning it

You need to like melt it

You want to melt it on - you don't want to burn your wax and we were burning our P-tex

But your P-tex I told you it need to be burning at a certain temperature also, or else it gets too hot now

I've got this cool down

so I actually sometimes when I'm repairing my board, I like to break out my iron and just

Warm the P-tex into my board a little bit - and that way it like presses it down into it. So it's still fresh

I'm just going to kind of press this

P-tex down in there. I want it to stick into my my base. So I want it to really bond to my base and

Give it a little bit of extra heat and pressure to do that

There we are

Again once you start seeing smoke it's burning if you're seeing smoke on your iron turn it down

It's too hot and a lot of the times when you buy like a snowboard iron

it's perfectly flat doesn't have these little holes and I'll have a temperature perfectly for wax, but I just pick this up at a

local market

Like five dollars and boom. I know I'm never gonna use it to iron my clothes

Ever again, you know, it's ruined for that. It's this is just for wax and

my board

So melting in that ptex a little bit more and you see I really pressure down into it

Same when I'm waxing - I do like that way it gets into my board, but I want to make sure that they're nice

My irons not too hot sweet. Yeah

I've uh, pretty much close to getting this. I'm just going to let it absorb into their bond, you know melt into the base

Be patient again. Like I said

Wait for that and then we'll scrape it out there. So now it's already

nice

repaired you saw how quickly I did that I

Like to have this this scrubber to help clean the board a little bit and get down little particles off

I'm going to wax it. I've got this metal scraper or you usually don't do that. Unless I'm repairing my board

I've got the plastic scraper. That's what I like to use when I'm waxing scraping the that off

So the smokes cleared up. Boards dried Giving it at some time. We get ready to scrape it. So

with this extra layer of

Ptex I might be able to scrape it off with the plastic, but I'm most likely going to need to use

The metal one just the it's gonna get more of the P-tex off. So I'm going to start with that

You see it's going to start curling up

Whatever is not flush with my base just peels up just like that

Nice and smooth looks like we got a good bond

These

Three or four shots right there

And then I have extra

I'm not going to throw it on the floor right there. I've been collecting the pile

But Yeah that is nice that bonded really well! I

Mean for now

you always know if it really bonded well is

When you get out on the mountain and if you go a few runs if it's still holding in yeah

you know, you don't want to do a bad job because

You don't want to have to do this every time you go out riding

Yeah, there we go man this this did a pretty good job so

I burnt the

The P-tex at that right temperature where I had a blue flame and it bonded to my base really well

you know if you did a bad job, is that when you're

scraping off and if it just comes out you just

Have to do it over again you didn't do a very good job. You didn't burn it at the right temperature. So

Yeah, that didn't take very much to scrape off I'm gonna break out my

Plastic scraper now

I'm just going to also scratch off my wax if I had any extra

I'm scraping that excess P-tex off of my board

your board

Is meant to absorb

There are little grooves little channels and going from tail to the tip and

That's to help absorb the wax so that you can add more viscosity and you can move faster

Snowboarding is so important to go fast, or at least have the ability to go faster because

Then if we get stuck in the flats

it sucks and you walk in or unstrap it on I

Might have to skate a little bit or it's really bad unstrap your board

completely walk

So if you have that extra little bit of speed by putting wax on your board

They're going to be able to get through those flatter spots you don't have to point as fast

No

It's just nice that it's just that extra acceleration is there

You can always slow down if you need to but you can't speed up more

So if you don't have that extra viscosity you have a lot more friction your boards gonna go slower. So

I just fixed up my base here

Had a lot of rock shots a lot, of core shots. I've been going up to Alta. This is October 2018

The last two weeks we've had great snow but it started melting. I was hiking a lot hiked up there seven days

The last couple days too many Rock shots too many core shots that

Damaged my board. So I'm thinking maybe I should maybe hold off hiking so I don't get damaged

You know, it's always nice to get damaged, right?

And the reason why I'm wearing sunglasses. Yes. I did get damaged. It wasn't snowboarding but

You know it it is nice not to get hurt. So preventing some things right there

There's no holes in my board

Good repaired have a nice flat base again

So maintain and take care of your board so they last longer. I hope to see you out on the mountain!

How to Create a Sales Hiring Strategy - Duration: 21:22.

- When it comes to hiring sales people

there are five things you need to put in place.

First, a well-defined, customer-centric sales process.

There's no such thing as innate sales skills.

When you're looking for new sales people

don't look for talent.

Look for people who can execute your sales process.

- The real thing is sales is a process.

Executing that process

is what a very successful salesperson does.

Believe it or not, you look for creativity in salespeople,

but you also look for people that are process oriented.

We all look for that diamond-in-the-rough salesperson,

the guy that's just naturally a salesperson.

But, really, what happens is I think

you have to find people that are motivated,

they wanna succeed, they wanna build their career,

they're intelligent, that they grasp what it is

that you're selling, or your organization is selling.

And I think that they also have to be

someone that's moldable a bit,

that you can actually teach them,

this is our process.

Sales is nothing but a process.

- Once you've defined your sales process,

the next thing you need to do

before you can hire salespeople

is get a deep understanding of your target persona.

Sales is very different from one industry to the next,

and from one kind of buyer to the next.

Hire salespeople who are going to succeed

when interacting with your target persona.

- As far as recruiting and hiring salespeople is concerned,

you really have to have some way of gauging

what type of, first of all, sale that you're doing

and whether that person matches up to it.

It's a fallacy that a good salesperson can sell everything.

That's just not the way life works.

It's not the way people work.

What you come to understand is that some people

are geared toward having business level conversations

in the C-suite.

Others are geared towards having

more of a process-level type of conversation

where, instead of CXOs,

it's more of, maybe, a VP or Director.

And there are others

that really are just very transactional.

And you can gauge when you're speaking with them

what type of seller that they're going to be.

If they use the pronoun, for example, I,

as in I have, or we, as in my company,

but mainly I have this.

That's all they're talking about

is the widgets that they sell,

then you have a very transactional type of seller.

If the pronoun that they use is more along lines of you,

as in you, Mr. Customer, what is it that you need,

and they're more of a consultative diagnostic

type of conversation,

that's gonna be something that's more in tune

with like a process type of seller.

'Kay?

Or we can go to market style.

It's gonna be a level two type of seller.

A level three type of seller is gonna be somebody

that can handle a conversation in a C-suite.

Topics revolve around much more strategic things,

such as cashflow and asset utilization, growth,

market share, that type of thing.

And so depending upon the level

that the person is comfortable actually having

that type of conversation,

it's kinda where we have to start plugging them in.

But one of the problems that we have in sales today

is that so many of them still work by territory

rather than something trying to match up

the seller with the buyer,

as to how much the buyer wishes to be interacted with.

And so consequently you'll have these sellers

that are put into these awful positions

where they expect them to go into the C-suite,

they arm them with a couple of conversational bits

just to get them past the gatekeepers,

and then once they start talking

about five minutes into the conversation

after they've exhausted the tricks that they actually have,

they start talking about the widgets.

And that's when the CXOs say, ah, I see,

you've lifted your veil now.

Now what you are is you're a technologist.

Let me walk you out of my office

and down to this person's office.

And have a nice day.

You can have the conversation from there,

never to get back into the C-suite again,

because you've labeled yourself as a technologist.

You really have to understand what your strategy is,

as far as how you intend to sell.

You have to understand how it is

that your customers wish you to interact with them,

'cause they don't all want to operate at the C-suite level

of conversation there or in process, however.

And then you have to find the right people

that can actually carry on the type of conversation

that you wish to have.

- Once you've defined your process and target persona

you need to create a profile of the kind of salesperson

who will succeed with that process and persona.

There are lots of fancy tests and evaluations

you can pay a lot of money to use for this,

but the simplest way to figure out

what a successful salesperson looks like

is to look at your current sales team

and figure out what makes them succeed of fail.

- There is no best practice, ideal sales hire

for all of business.

It is personalized to your context,

which partially we've defined with our buyer journey

and who you're selling to, but it's much broader than that.

What stage is your category?

Is this a new product or is it a product

that's been around for 50 years?

How much competition is there?

How complicated your product?

Are you selling $10 million jets?

Or $50 widgets?

There's what stage is your venture at.

Are you a new company or have you been around for 30 years?

These are all important contextual elements

that are going to define the ideal decisions

around demand gen and around your sales hires.

But there is a process to uncover these.

On the sales-hiring front,

one of the things that we underappreciate with sales hiring,

is the function of sales, success or failure,

is highly quantifiable.

Right?

It's really difficult to walk into a room of engineers

and be like, that right there,

that's my best engineer by 7%.

You just can't do it!

I can get pretty close with a room full of salespeople.

That person right there is my best salesperson by 7%.

But we don't take advantage of it in selling.

Right?

The process to do this is to quantify

the characteristics you're observing,

the behaviors, the skills you're observing

during the interview process, for your context,

giving your market maturity, giving your product complexity,

giving your buyer what is gonna be important characteristics

for the people you hire.

Is it that they have lots of experience?

Is it that they have experience selling

to this particular buyer?

Is it that they're really

run a consultative selling process?

Is they're high work ethic?

Is it they're extraordinarily convincing?

Is it that they're super smart?

Like what is it that's gonna make them really successful

in your environment?

Figure out what those attributes are,

define what a score of a one, a three, a five, a seven,

a ten would sound like,

and establish a weight of importance.

And start scoring your people,

even if you're gonna hire two sales reps next year.

You've gotta go through this process to get ready for scale.

And now we've established another

test, learn, iterate, feedback loop.

That, even if I hire three salespeople this year,

I guarantee you all three of them

will not perform the same way.

One or two, hopefully, will crush it.

And one or two, probably, will be mediocre or less.

And we'll be in a position now to say,

okay, why did that happen?

Why is Julie crushing it?

And why is Bob not doing so good?

What is it about them?

Were we assessing on that?

Did we assess on that during the interview process?

How did we miss it?

And, if so, how do we need to iterate the interview process?

So, we have to set up that feedback loop.

- [Instructor] Once you identify the things

that make a salesperson successful in your organization

you need to develop a robust standardized interview process

that will help you determine

whether someone fits that profile.

- As I like to say, the onboarding process actually starts

with the very first interview.

So, in hiring salespeople you wanna make sure

that you have identified, hey, you can't work here

unless you have these baseline competencies,

and then you have a process in your hiring approach

that assesses for those competencies.

- When it comes to assessing a candidate's competency

you have a few different options.

- So there's a personality assessment,

there's a behavioral assessment,

and then there's a skills assessment.

The personality assessment helps you understand

what that individual's makeup is,

the things that motivate them individually.

A behavioral assessment will let you know

how a person would work inside of an organization

or in collaboration with a team.

It kinda gives you a sense of a culture,

a flavor, if you're trying to build out a diverse team

in that respect.

A skills assessment tells you whether or not somebody

is coachable, trainable, and where they are today

as a snapshot on the spectrum of skills necessary

to perform in their function.

I think the most effective one for sales teams

is doing a skills assessment.

Unfortunately, most people either do a behavioral

or a personality assessment and they get somebody on board,

and they don't have any kind of tools by which to manage,

or to effectively coach, or to develop

a professional development program for that individual.

And so they throw them into the queue in a homogeneous way

and hope that they'll kinda get it.

They get the pat on the back.

- To prevent this from happening

you need to design your interview

to focus on what matters most.

- So, being able to create an experiential interview.

That doesn't mean sitting them down

and making them do cold calls,

but ask about things that would be

an indicator as to whether or not

someone would have call reluctance.

Ask about things that they've done in their past

that may align to whether or not

they've been metrics driven.

Don't forget that if you're hiring STRs and salespeople,

it's a research function.

It's not just a function of having conversations

with people on the phone,

but this person has to be diligent in setting aside time

to source, to evaluate, to even do admin tasks.

I know that's not what we hire salespeople to do,

but if you're gonna scale an organization,

you've gotta make sure that you're keeping good data.

- And if you're gonna hire somebody

and they're gonna be doing research five hours a week,

and they're gonna do admin tasks four hours a week,

and the job description, and the interview process

just focuses on, oh you're gonna close deals

and you're gonna be a hero,

there's a disconnect there.

And so, I think it's just about being honest.

What are you actually gonna do

when you show up for work day one?

- That's an important point.

Different sales roles require different skill sets,

and therefore, different interview techniques.

So you have to nail down a clear definition of the role

you're trying to fill.

- So the first thing that I always recommend

is step back and take a look at the roles

in your organization.

Understand what those roles entail,

especially the competencies, but if you can,

and if you have the ability to work with a psychometric firm

that does reliable, validated, psychometric assessments,

you can get a sort of a personality and competency profile

of what your top producers look like

compared to those who aren't top producers,

and start to look for differences and gaps

between those two profiles.

And so if you do that, you can start to use assessments,

or behavioral interviewing,

or competency modeling assessments

to help you select people that are the right fit

for the right role in your organization.

- Once you know the skill you're looking for,

you can start to define the interview experience

that will best identify those skills.

Get creative with the interview process.

Your interview shouldn't be just a series of questions

you fire at the candidate.

In fact, the typical job interview only predicts 14%

of a candidate's post-hire success.

Instead, find ways to evaluate the skills

you're interested in.

For example, coachability is an important trait

in any sales rep,

so try coaching candidates during the interview.

Instead of asking someone how coachable they are,

let them show you.

Have them do a role-play and then give them feedback.

Pay attention to how they respond.

Are they happy to receive feedback?

Or does it make them bristle?

After you give them feedback

have them do the role-play again,

and see if they implement the feedback you gave them.

Here's another example of a creative interview idea.

When your reps get on sales calls

you want them to be able to understand

a prospect's challenges

and consult them toward the right solution,

so treat the interview like a consultation.

Present them with a real problem

your team is currently facing

and ask them for advice on how to fix it.

This will give you a ton of information

about how good they are at asking questions

and uncovering solutions.

And it might give you some good ideas

for how to fix the problem.

That's much better than asking them something ridiculous

like how many golf balls

would fit inside a commercial airplane?

There are so many ways to make an interview

more than just a series of questions.

If you want more ideas HubSpot's Sales Blog

has a whole bunch of posts on interviewing and hiring

to help you get started,

which we've linked to in the additional resources section.

But, the best interview questions will be the ones

that are unique to your own team and process.

One word of caution here.

While it is important to get creative

with your interview process,

it's also important to standardize your interview process.

You need to ask the exact same question to every candidate.

Otherwise, you won't have a solid point of comparison.

You also need to have a standard grading rubric

for the answers to those questions.

Standardizing your questions and the way you assess answers

is a good practice in any hiring situation,

but it's especially important in sales.

- You need to have a hiring methodology

that emulates what someone is going to be doing in the wild

once they're hired.

It doesn't make sense

to have someone sit across a murder board of five people

who are asking questions

that have nothing to do with their role,

and they're simply satisfied

with the answers that they're getting.

I mean, if a person is a good (laughing) salesperson

they're probably gonna give you some good answers.

That doesn't necessarily mean that that's gonna show up

when they actually get to the workforce.

- Think of it this way.

If someone can trick you into hiring them,

they will probably deceive your customers too.

That might give you a short term bump in sales,

but it'll lead to lost trust and broken relationships,

and ultimately, that'll mean less sales for your company

in the long run.

By standardizing your interview process,

you can filter out the people

who don't have your company's best interests at heart.

One important thing to keep in mind here

is that some job candidates might be a good fit

for your company but not a good fit for your sales team.

In some cases, the candidates you get for sales roles

would do much better somewhere else in the company.

- You know, you may interview somebody

that, on the surface, seems to be the perfect person.

You know, he's just very outgoing, sales-type of person.

You know, this is the one you want on your team.

But, in doing that analysis, you may find out

that they are uncomfortable in that role.

The way they're coming across

is what they expect you like in that sorta thing.

They may be much more comfortable in a support role

or much more comfortable in a different administrative role

or something like that.

So, the identifying talent.

So, doing the assessment, doing the one-on-one interviews.

The other thing that we've always found with our teams

is to go ahead and have multiple people interview,

so not just the hiring manager

but also have the support folks: the sales support,

the sales team,

other members of the management team perhaps.

And one of the key ones is, I think,

is have that person interview

with someone that's been hired in the last six months

in your organization.

They will have much more of a one on one

of what's the organization really like,

what are you really looking for?

And if the person kind of makes it past

the first couple of rounds,

we'll actually have them go out on sales calls with our team

and actually go out and sit down with a client,

see how they act in that environment

and see if they enjoy that environment,

what that looks like.

- You don't want to just reject these candidates

and forget about them.

They might turn out to be valuable assets

in other parts of your company.

The last step is to create a recruiting strategy.

As you think about the different roles on your sales team,

keep in mind that they'll change as your company grows.

- When I joined almost three years ago,

we were about 35 people as a company.

So, I came in, just had a couple people on the team.

We've scaled that up, so, as a company,

we're over 300 people overall.

Between sales and customer success

and other other parts of the funnel,

we've got 70 to 80 people on that team right now.

And the key is, like early on was,

you kinda hire people that can do a lot of different things.

And then, as you find particular pockets,

you sorta specialize and scale.

So, we did that.

So, as we got more traction on the enterprise layer,

we segmented out the S&B once we saw

that was more transactional,

and we could cater to that in a specific way.

Once we got post-sale, we said,

all right, now it's time to bring in customer success

once we got to a certain volume.

We specialized inbound versus outbound

from a top-of-the-funnel perspective,

and we're continuing to stratify,

so as we move up funnel to bigger enterprise relationships,

we're moving up to the enterprise

and then the strategic layer

which is more of your traditional elephant hunters.

- Even if you company isn't in its early stages,

the needs of a sales organization change over time.

You need to constantly look ahead

so you aren't forced into a hiring crisis.

- The one thing I've gotten better at

over the last couple of years is thinking about

what's this company gonna look in six months

and how do I prepare now?

Because we know we could lose people,

we need to hire people,

and it takes time to train people and recruit people.

And so trying to really think

what do we need three or six months from now

instead of what do we need right now

is one way that I've been able to keep ahead of that.

- In order for that to work you need to not only plan ahead

but also start recruiting

before you're even looking to hire.

- It's like you've gotta go out there and start to nurture

and find sales talent way before you need it.

And that best sales talent

probably is already happy where they are

so you have to nurture them

and you have to use that kind of,

almost like a lead generation approach to talent.

It's hitting somebody who may not be ready to make a move.

It's identifying, either through tools like LinkedIn

and other social tools,

but it's finding and identifying salespeople

that you may wanna have join your organization

and you start to connect with them proactively.

What you're looking for is, you know, salespeople,

even great salespeople say, hey, I need to make a move,

because they just cut my territory in half,

or they changed the comp plan.

I don't like the comp plan.

When those salespeople are ready to make a change,

you wanna make sure you're first on their list

as those organizations that they reach out to.

- When you start looking for potential hires on LinkedIn,

there are a couple of different strategies

you'll want to use.

Building relationships with established sales talent

is a long-term strategy.

For example, if you want to build a pipeline

of potential account executives,

you need to recognize that it might be a long time

before top performers at other companies

will be looking for a change.

You should still nurture those relationships,

but you can supplement that strategy

with a short-term strategy of nurturing relationships

with high-performing business development reps.

BDRs typically stay in their roles for 10 to 19 months.

Knowing this, identify top reps

who are approaching the 10-month mark in their current role.

You'll likely find high-quality candidates

who are looking for an opportunity

to take on a new challenge.

Nurturing those relationships will bring results faster

than nurturing relationships with established salespeople

who have already landed the dream job.

So if you want to hire an all-star sales team,

start by making sure your sales process and target persona

are well defined.

Then, figure out what roles you need to fill

in order to execute that process

and what skills and competencies someone needs to have

to be successful in those roles.

To do that you need to figure out

what predicts the success of your current team members.

And once you know all that,

you can design a recruiting strategy

and an interview process

that will attract and secure the best possible new editions

to your team.

Following these steps will build a pipeline of sales talent

that will help your company grow better.

Read Anyone - How To Spot A Liar? | Your Alpha Dude - Duration: 7:43.

There's a new people reading technique that's huge right now.

And when you take advantage of it, you can get out of any situation as a winner.

Be it sales or with your girlfriend.

And if you ignore it, let's just say then you're gonna miss out

on a ton of opportunities.

I'm Ariel, the founder of Your Alpha Dude.

A place where you learn to be bold, free and masculine.

And in this video, i'm gonna reveal what this new technique is

in 3 practical ways, that you can take advantage of it.

Trust me you'll get surprised by how much it benefits you in real life.

Keep watching.

Everybody wants to be Sherlock Holmes, and figure out if somebody is lying to them

or not.

Or figure out what somebody else is feeling and what they can do to manipulate these people,

and come out as a winner in that situation.

Now, i have often seen a lot of rookie advices out there telling that if somebody has closed

arms or if somebody doesn't maintain eye contact

then its a sign of cheating, lying etc...

All this is somewhat right.

But not surefire..

It's been proven by scientists that body language or movement of the eyes

can be faked, that's why it's rookie.

But, there's one thing that can never be faked

no matter what.

That is Microexpressions.

They are honest signals.

They're natural.

They can not be developed.

On the other hand, body language or

a better eye contact can be easily developed.

A microexpression is a brief, involuntary facial expression that appears

on a person's face according to the emotions being experienced.

You can't fake it, no matter how hard you try,

in the first few seconds.

But then as you take a hold of your emotions, then you can go back to normal.

In a minute i'll show you how you can use microexpressions

to read people and gain an upper hand in any conversation.

But keep in mind as micro as it sounds, it takes special effort from your part to

be good at this.

As it happens very quickly.

Almost in an instance.

Now, there are 7 microexpressions

namely - disgust,

anger, fear,

sadness, happiness,

surprise and contempt.

And i'll teach you how you can decode them

with my 3 universal ways.

They're -

1.

Congruency - Is what the person speaks matches his emotions

and expressions?

For ex- If he is happy to see you then his microexpression

should be of happiness or elatedness.

His cheeks should be raised, teeths should be exposed

and Corners of the lips are drawn back and up.

So, always look for congruency in a person.

There should be a clear balance between words and deeds.

2.

Connection - Do you feel connected to that guy when he's

talking?

Or is there something off?

Listen to their voice as they're speaking to you.

Is it an excited, elated voice or a boring dull voice or an angry voice.

You can tell their feelings by listening to their voice as well.

And as they will be speaking their voice will change according to emotions so will

their expressions.

So you must keep both your eyes and ears open.

And now my 3rd and final tip is -

3.

Focus.

Microexpressions happen in an instant.

You need to be extremely focused to ever have a chance at recognisinng them.

This is why i said in my preious vidoes of this playlist

to be interested.

For ex - If somebody is angry,

then their lower lid will be tensed, eyes will be bulging and nostrils may be dilated.

Now, you might be thinking how people reading can help you?

Well, this is where the best gets separated from the rest.

Suppose you know that someone is angry at you.

Then you can address that problem by being calm and understanding why are they angry

at you?

What can you do to come back on friendly terms with them, etc...

You can do absolute people mastery once you fully grasp the idea of people reading.

Now a quick recap -

You want to be sherlock holmes, or maybe you just want to be better at communications,

then its paramount that you know people reading.

As it helps you bond with those people better.

So, the best and most precise way of reading people is through their microexpressions.

As its an honest signal and its based on what a person feels in that moment.

Now, my 3 ways to read microexpressions are -

1.

Congruency.

Look if what they say matches with their emotions or not.

Are they happy saying it or sad or exhibiting any other microexpression discussed above?

2.

Connection.

Is there voice shallow or deep?

Are their expressions in sync with their voice?

Watch and listen.

3.

Focus.

Microexpressions happens in an instance.

So, you need to be very focused.

It happens in the blink of an eye.

Yup, that fast.

And so, these were my tips on Reading Anyone

Now, its time for the $500 cash giveaway announcement for this week

How to Brake on Ice in the Winter & Maintain Traction - Duration: 3:11.

Hi there smart drivers Rick with smart drive test talking about skid recovery

on snow stick around we'll be right back with that information

hi there smart drivers welcome back Rick with smart drive test talking to you

today about skid recovery on snow and ice and as you'll see here in the

footage one of the vehicles did not recover from the skid fortunately it

wasn't fatal and there was no crash that resulted from that now if you're new to

smart drive test here be sure to subscribe

be sure to hit that thumbs up button smart drive test helps new drivers get a

license veteran drivers to remain crash free and CDL drivers to start a career

as a truck or bus driver so be sure to subscribe be sure to get all of the

great information that's available here on the channel so skid recovery on snow

and ice we're gonna head over to the computer here and we'll give you some

information about how to stay safe when the temperature is around freezing and

there's a bit of snow and ice on the roadway

so I'm just looking down the road here I'm not going very fast you can see in

the dashcam I'm doing less than 50 kilometers an hour 30 miles an hour the

road has been well sanded but obviously there's a crash down here somewhere you

can see the vehicle it's upside down in the ditch on the right here you can't

probably see it at the - campus it's in front of the the big truck here many

drivers are under the false impression that when they're on major roads and

there's a bit of snow on the road that it is dangerous and sometimes it can be

but often these are well-maintained as opposed to these residential roads

when it starts to snow there one of the last to get sanded or salted and this

roadway going down to a roundabout on a hill became extremely dangerous when the

temperature is around zero now watch the car into the arrow here that fortunately

loses control that's not involved in a collapse and a crash because the driver

was going slow enough and there wasn't any other traffic so the driver gets the

vehicle straightened around and comes back down the hill without incident just

a little bit of lesson but what happened was the driver held the brakes on when

the driver held the brakes on the back end of the vehicle lifted out the

vehicle the driver continued to hold the brakes on and lost control as vehicle in

the skid as going downhill now you can see the van up at the back there that we

kind of need to control a little bit coming down the hill many of the cars

here are going in on to the shoulder of the road there you can see that van

right out into the snow to work to get traction and maintain control of the

vehicle and be able to brake as they're coming down the hill towards the

roundabout where they have to slow or stop to enter the roundabout and that's

one of the techniques that you can use when the temperature is around freezing

there's a lot of precipitation and what happens when the temperature is around

zero you get a layer of water on top of the ice which makes it even more

slippery during these periods of precipitation when you get a lot of snow

like wet snow coming down the roadway so know that residential areas are gonna

often get you out in terms of having a skid when you're driving so thanks very

much for watching be sure to hit that subscribe button as well hit that thumbs

up button and remember pick the best answer not necessarily the right answer

have a great day bye now

remove cream foam from the side of the pan

like this

stir the milk from the bottom

or else milk will stick at the bottom

stir it continuously

see now milk look like thicker

now we can add all nuts
