"A Heavy Concern."
Hello.
I'm a housewife in my 40s
with a 19-year-old son.
They say it's joyful to watch your kids eat.
But I get so frustrated when I watch my son eat.
For breakfast, my son eats ice cream,
a bowl of rice, a pot of soup, 8 eggs,
a can of ham and
2 cans of tuna.
- Just for breakfast. / - In one sitting?
He must be an athlete.
I'm impressed.
At school, he eats lunch, bread and has drinks.
He eats a lot.
One day, "Where did the spicy mixed noodles go?
There were 3 packets here."
(Slurp slurp)
"I finished them all."
He gobbles up everything in sight.
That's why he is 5'9" tall and
weighs over 220 lbs.
"Son. You're going to be sick.
No dinner for you for several days."
"Mom! I'm hungry. I'm hungry."
He whined so much that
he had to eat a box of chocolate pies to be quiet.
- A box? / - He ate the whole box?
I am so worried about my son.
Please help my son.
He must eat a whole box to be able to sleep.
Unbelievable.
I'm from another city
and I didn't earn much money when I started out.
When a friend offered to buy me beef...
Then he would be considered God.
Buy me some food!
(Guilty)
I ate 7 servings of beef that day.
- Beef? / - Yes.
I know somebody
who eats pork cutlets 365 days a year.
Every day?
He had a girlfriend. They ate that for a year.
They only ate pork cutlets for a year?
So they broke up
while eating pork cutlets.
- While eating pork cutlets? / - Yes.
Please come on out.
(Who's concerned about her obese son?)
(Choi Hyeonhui)
You look like you'd be a great cook.
Your face says, "It's so yummy."
(They do look alike)
You're a good cook, right?
Yes, I am.
(She's so cute)
How much does your son weigh?
He is 5'9" and I'm embarrassed to say it,
but he weighs 240 lbs.
He's been chubby since grade school.
I didn't want him to get fat,
so I took him to Taekwondo, kendo and
hapkido classes, so he wasn't fat.
But in middle school, he had to study,
so he quit all those sports.
Then puberty came and his appetite increased.
He started to gain weight day by day.
He couldn't fit into school uniforms.
He was supposed to start school in a few days,
so I was perplexed.
I heard about a tailor who tailors uniforms,
so that's how he got his school uniform.
I read what he eats for breakfast earlier.
Does he really eat that much?
He eats rice out of a big bowl.
His favorite stews are
sausage stew and spicy chicken stew.
I make some in a 28cm wok.
What?
A wok with a 28cm diameter.
A wok, which is a deeper version of a pan.
- And then? / - And...
- Hold on, please. / - Okay.
Then I make him an omelette.
An omelette with 7-8 eggs.
He also mixes tuna with mayo.
- Tuna with mayo. / - I put it down.
Tuna with mayo!
He then eats ice cream
and goes to school.
- He's very diligent. / - It's a morning ritual.
He gets up early to eat all that?
Then he eats lunch at school.
He could eat less, since he already ate a lot.
But he eats
his friends' leftovers, too.
How much would
his breakfast cost?
I think 50% of our expenses are food.
- It's that much? / - Yes.
What concerns me the most is he's too greedy.
When we go out to eat meat,
he eats everything in front of him.
Since he's our son,
my husband and I just eat rice and soup.
It's that bad?
Or cold noodles.
He doesn't do that with relatives around, right?
That's not true.
- Oh gee. / - People would stare at him.
I know!
He should be a bit self-conscious.
One time, we went to a sashimi place
and ordered 2 plates of sashimi.
He started to gobble down the food in front of him.
That wasn't all.
He came over to us and finished our food, too.
My brother said,
"Minu, you eat way too much."
He isn't a picky eater?
He is picky.
- He doesn't like vegetables? / - He doesn't.
(Oh no!)
Mixed spicy noodles are served with
bean sprouts, cabbage,
carrot and cucumber.
He takes them all out.
(How do I fix his bad eating habits?)
Let's meet her son now.
Hello.
- Hello. / - Hello.
(Who is the son that eats too much?)
I feel like he came out of a comic book.
Please stand up and say hello to us.
Say hello. Stand up straight!
Hello.
To the ones in the back, too.
To the ones in the back, too.
Hello.
How cute.
- He's cute. / - He's cute.
I feel like he came out of a comic book.
(Embarrassed)
He seems to be very cheerful.
He seems nice and outgoing.
Why are you putting your head down?
I don't know how he'll look on camera.
This is how he looks.
(Ta-da)
(Shake shake)
(He's just a happy boy)
How cute.
(He has no concerns)
Do you understand your mom's concerns?
I never thought I eat too much.
Really?
I think you do eat a lot.
You eat a bowl of rice and a pot of soup.
Is that just once? Or all week long?
Many, many, many times.
Not just many, but many, many times.
(Oh my)
We have pictures of what he usually eats.
- There's chicken, too. / - Fried chicken.
- That looks good. / - 8 pieces of fried chicken.
8 drumsticks.
(His appetite is increasing)
He eats all of that?
How many are there?
- He eats all of them? / - How many?
He eats all of them? No way.
10 rolls of kimbap.
He doesn't like sliced kimbap.
- Like this. / - He holds one up like this?
That's why I didn't slice them.
He eats all of them?
(All these are for her son)
(That's easy as pie)
(That looks good!)
Those vegetable pancakes look good.
Ma'am!
You're such a good cook that he can't help it.
You cook so well.
He eats all that meat in one sitting?
Yes, for one meal.
(That's enough for several days)
(Every side dish is a main dish)
In one meal?
The important thing is that
he doesn't eat those quail eggs.
- Just the meat? / - Just the meat.
(She's a great cook)
You eat without being considerate of others.
If you do that,
people won't want to hang out with you.
I guess I lose my mind when I eat.
I don't know.
- He doesn't know. / - He tries to be considerate?
Now I go to all-you-can-eat places.
How much can you eat?
Brag about it to us.
Wow, bragging!
Bragging! Wow!
I eat 5-6 servings of meat at a buffet place.
Then I eat cold noodles.
I order a double-size noodles
and add an extra serving of noodles.
It's good.
Double-size with extra noodles.
Double-size with extra noodles.
(Perfect teamwork)
(It's not the time to mess around)
Since when did you start gaining weight?
I did many sports in grade school.
Then I quit.
There's a convenience store by my middle school.
They had a buy 1, get one 1 event for coke.
I drank 2 bottles every morning
and that's when I started to gain weight.
She brought pictures of what he looked like
before he entered middle school.
How cute.
(It's good to eat as a whole!)
How cute.
He didn't wear black clothes back then.
Was he in kindergarten then?
(Grade school graduation picture)
- Here... / - That's his elementary school graduation.
He has a big belly.
If you look at your baby pictures,
don't you want to lose weight?
Not right now.
(What will change your mind?)
Have you ever tried to get him to lose weight?
There's an elementary school near our house.
I suggested we run around the field for an hour.
He did it for 2 days.
Then on the third day, he wouldn't wake up
and started to whine.
I heard that boxing is good for losing weight.
That's right.
He complained of the sweat smell in the gym.
It's from people working out.
So he quit after a few days.
As you can see, he won't eat
unless I give him frozen food or chicken.
Bibimbap is good, right?
I made it, but he wouldn't eat it.
I'm worried because I can't make him starve.
You have a weak spot for him.
I don't want to eat yucky food.
If kimchi tastes good, I'll eat it.
But I won't if it doesn't taste good.
I don't really like ramen.
If it gets overcooked, I won't eat it.
You seem to be quite picky.
Couldn't you cook for yourself then?
But my mom is such a good cook.
Can you make smaller portions then?
Smaller portions.
But I should cook enough to make him full.
Ma'am...
You're the one making him this way.
You do everything he wants and you worry.
That's the problem.
On a program called "My Child has Changed,"
there was a kid who was a picky eater.
The solution was to serve food and
take it away if he doesn't eat it.
He asked for something else, but
he wasn't allowed to eat anything else.
After two days, he started to eat kimchi, too.
I tried that, but he just won't eat!
For how long?
I didn't do it for several days,
but I got worried that he wasn't eating.
It's not easy, but you should try harder.
His father is here with us, too.
Are you worried about your son?
Of course.
He can't tie his own shoelaces.
He can't reach his feet.
We did try feeding him vegetables.
He threw up right after he ate it.
I felt bad when I watched him throw up.
Couldn't you be more strict with him?
We got pregnant 5 years after we got married.
When he turned one, he had an illness where
his pelvic bone was rotting.
That could've caused unbalanced growth.
So the doctors cut out a piece of his bone.
(That's why they pity their son)
That's why we give him whatever he wants.
Now I understand why you're like this.
But I'm most concerned about his health.
He gets physical checkups.
He's always diagnosed to be obese.
Since he eats so much greasy food
that he has irritable bowel syndrome.
He's taking medicine for that.
Since he's so fat, he falls down a lot.
He does?
At first, I would take him to the doctor's office.
Now he doesn't want to go.
You know that you need to eat less
and work out more, right?
Hmm...
To be honest,
do you ever regret it?
I never regret what I eat.
I don't think about the future.
When you fall down, don't you think
that it's because you weigh too much?
Not once.
Think about it now.
You should.
(He doesn't know how serious this is)
He must realize the problem himself
and be willing to change his habits.
But you do everything. He can't tie his shoes.
Do you tie his shoes for him? He's 19.
Yes, I do because he can't do it himself.
That's bad.
I am fat now,
but I was much bigger when I was young.
My mom wouldn't give me food
and would hide it from me.
So I ate behind her back.
I understand how fat people feel.
I'm afraid that he'll be teased by classmates
and lose self-esteem. So I can't scold him.
I feel bad for him.
I understand.
How do you get along with your friends?
I was teased a lot in grade school.
In middle school, when we got milk at school,
they'd say, "Drink another one."
They loved to see me drink,
so I ended up drinking 7 cartons.
Then I threw up.
Did you ever eat even though you didn't want to?
Just to please your friends?
I do it because it makes me feel good, too.
So eating has that meaning to you too.
We have a friend here with us.
Does anyone tease him for being fat?
There was a fast-eating contest at school.
He drank 40 bottles of a yogurt drink
and 1.25 liters of Sprite in one sitting.
He threw up, but he won first place.
- Even though he threw up? / - Yes.
The classmates all cheered and were mesmerized,
so he gained confidence. He was good at something.
Do his classmates cheer for him because
he's good or is it to tease him?
I think it's half and half.
We have a special guest here today.
- Hello. / - Long time no see.
(Aired on Nov. 5, 2018 / He drink 1 liter of water)
He was in a hurry.
He drinks a lot at once.
He's not stopping?
(Does he drink less now?)
Are you drinking less water and coffee?
I threw away that big water bottle.
Good.
I'm trying to drink less coffee, too.
You must pay attention, son.
Let me tell you about this guest.
Please show us the picture.
- That's him. / - That's him.
(Wow)
That person turned into him right here.
I used to weigh 330 lbs.
I now weigh 183 lbs.
He lost about 147 lbs.
Right.
But I understand how he feels, too.
My parents gave me diet pills
and beat me to lose weight,
but nothing worked.
I decided to lose weight because
the doctor told me I could die before age 20.
(He made the decision after hearing shocking news)
I was shocked and decided to lose weight.
You don't want to lose weight at all?
Not now.
About the fact that you sprain your ankles often.
You don't think it's a serious problem.
As for me, I injured my ankles so often that
I don't have ligaments left because I needed surgery.
Right, right, right.
(Oh...)
(Shocked)
He falls down often, too.
I have such a bad back now that
I'm taking narcotic painkillers.
If you continue to be this obese,
you could end up on meds your whole life like me
or you could die. Is that okay with you?
That would be a problem.
We're not talking about someone else here.
You must know how dangerous it could be for you.
"Oh, I have a serious problem."
Did you eat as much as he does in the past?
You talked about all-you-can-eat places.
I was kicked out of one.
- Really? / - He was worse.
Because I ate too much,
they asked me to leave.
He was worse.
From an all-you-can-eat place.
I was able to lose weight.
I think you are able to do the same.
You don't think this is that serious,
but you must lose weight now.
You won't have time to lose it
when you're in college or when you're working.
You must lose weight now.
Yes!
Junsu gave some good advice.
What do you think about what he said?
I'm starting to think that I should lose weight.
(What a relief)
That's good.
I guess Junsu is someone who can give advice.
He is qualified to do so.
Do you know what you want to become?
I like to make people laugh and I like to eat.
I also like to play games.
So I want to become a streamer.
What would you stream?
Would it be about games? Or eating?
I would mostly play games
and then eat when it's time.
(Speechless)
A program like that.
Game and then eat?
Game, eat, game, eat.
I got him a $3,000 computer
so that he can stream.
He used to go to internet cafes before,
but now he just stays home and plays games.
No, that's bad.
He doesn't shower. As for his glasses,
I cleaned them for him today.
He never cleans them.
I can still see without cleaning them.
(Next-level laziness)
Have you ever streamed anything?
I did, but no one watched it,
so I stopped doing it.
Many people dream of earning money
by playing games and sleeping.
But it has become so competitive now that it's hard.
You must have a special talent that
other people don't have to earn money.
But people will judge you on how you look.
I think it would be a good idea
to be more realistic and find something else
that you can do.
Since you are now on Hello Counselor,
you should stream
the process of losing weight.
Show people that you're determined to lose weight.
Then you might get more subscribers.
If you lose a lot of weight,
I'll play a round with you!
(What an honor!)
Let's be specific.
How much should he lose?
- Just a little. / - Say it yourself!
(Will he be able to make a promise?)
45 lbs.
(He has changed!)
- First round? / - 45 lbs.
(Touched)
This is the first time he has said that.
We must set the date.
What if he loses weight by the time he's 40?
Or maybe when he's 60.
When he's 70,
he could say, "I weigh 200 lbs now."
We'd all be dead by then.
No one would be left.
- By White Day. / - No.
Let's give him a year.
- That's too long. / - Next year.
By Children's Day.
- May 5. That's good. / - That sounds good!
That sounds nice.
- Choose a date. / - As a gift.
Not April Fool's Day though!
(When will he lose 45 lbs by?)
By White Day. (March 14)
White Day?
White Day.
You know when that is, right?
Yes.
This is the first time that
he's ever said he would lose weight.
I'm so glad I came here today.
Yes. You must be stern, too.
I will be stern and be supportive.
(Let's play games together)
Let's start with Dohyun.
Tony Hong said this once.
If you work hard for a year,
become fit and look in the mirror,
you'll know the joy of looking fit,
so you end up maintaining that body.
I really hope you succeed in losing weight.
Tony Hong also said that
you're his type, Dohyun.
(Dizzy)
Congratulations.
Congratulations.
I know you can do this,
so I don't think it's a serious concern.
I hope you really are determined this time.
I think this is your chance to be better.
I think it's a slight concern.
If you can relate, press the button.
(What does the audience think?)
5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
Please stop.
Please say a word to your parents.
Be healthy.
Elaborate on that.
You eat so much, so why do you speak so briefly?
I will try to lose weight for the first time.
Please have faith in me.
You can do it!
Please show us the result.
(The last digit is a 1)
This couldn't be the first concern.
(The first concern was quite serious)
Did they get over 100 votes?
81 votes.
(They got 81 votes)

Why Does Warren Buffett Love Bank Stocks So Much?!?! - Duration: 6:43.
Mac Greer: Speaking of nice performers, there's a guy named Warren Buffett who's got a pretty
good track record, is my understanding, as an investor.
His company, Berkshire Hathaway, just reported its third quarter holdings.
Boy, does Buffett, or someone over at Berkshire, really like banks.
Guys, let me give you the ten holdings quickly. See if you notice a theme here.
Apple is the biggest holding.
Then we've got Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Coke, Kraft Heinz, American Express, U.S.Bancorp,
Moody's, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan Chase. Five of the ten are banks!
Ron Gross: You look at this portfolio and you say, a bunch of banks and a bunch of consumer
staple-ish stocks. It doesn't seem to be a very exciting portfolio.
Greer: The curmudgeonly trader, there you go again!
Andy Gross: [laughs] Mr. Buffett doesn't know what he's doing.
When I think of Buffett, I think of that folksy guy who likes See's Candy kind of businesses,
old economy types of businesses.
But we forget, he's a student of financials, whether it be insurance or financial services
or the big banks.
You'll remember long ago, he was actually interim chairman of Salomon Brothers.
Subsequently, in various financial crises, he's helped bail out more than one large bank.
He understands these companies where I will say I tend to not, because they seem like
a black box to me. He clearly does.
And I think that makes him comfortable investing big portions of his portfolio,
especially in this type of environment, where interest rates are going to start to rise, less regulation.
He sees some good stuff on the horizon.
And knowing what he knows about how these banks run, he's comfortable.
Greer: Does this get you more interested in banks, Ron?
Gross: No.
Cross: Warren Buffett has insights, like Ron was saying, into the financial world from
his 60 years of investing in all types of businesses.
He also has the Todd and Ted partnership, helping him out in the investing landscape, as well.
You look through his portfolio, you do see companies like the airline investments they've
made over the last year or so, combined with a lot of financials.
The financial investment doesn't really surprise me. Ron mentioned the rising interest rates.
From a scale perspective, from competitive position, the largest banks continue to widen those moats.
Frankly, Mr. Buffett is not one that's going to pay 10X revenues, per se, for software-as-a-service companies.
And he has a lot of capital to put the work. They have $100 billion in cash on the balance sheet.
They generate so much cash from their operating businesses to be able to invest.
Making investments like this -- including Oracle, which they bought last quarter, as well.
These are the kinds of investments you expect to see from Berkshire Hathaway.
Given the size of the organization and amount of capital they generate.
and the traditional valuation bent and thinking, these don't really surprise me.
These investments, he knows them well.
Gross: Yeah. It's good to see the Ted and Todd influence.
Buffett was notorious for staying away from tech.
He said it's because he couldn't understand it.
It's not really about not understanding, it's about not being able to predict the future,
which I completely understand.
But it's nice to at least see him in consumer electronics like Apple; Oracle, a business
where either he or Ted or Todd can understand.
We saw recent investments in fintech, financial technology, companies.
Good to see, because clearly, that's going to be a big place to put capital for the future.
I like to see some of that in addition to the old Kraft, Coke, AmEx kind of stocks that
he's owned forever.
Cross: And, by the way, let's not forget, he's also buying his own stock.
They bought almost a billion dollars' worth of Berkshire Hathaway stock in the last quarter.
That's significant. He doesn't really go out there and aggressively buy his own stock.
Instead, he changed his methodology for thinking about when to buy that stock from a price
to book value target to "when we think the stock is undervalued."
And they bought a bunch last quarter.
Greer: I'll be curious to see if he starts buying even more Apple.
For perspective here, Apple, his largest position by far, almost $57 billion worth of Apple stock.
Bank of America, around $25 billion. Wells Fargo, $23 billion. Apple, far away.
Gross: I would imagine, with the Apple weakness that we've seen lately, he's in the market buying more.
That's just a guess.
I don't think he gets hung up as much as traditional Wall Street does on the quarter to quarter
iPhone unit sales numbers.
I think he's thinking longer-term about what Apple will do, in terms of generating cash
flow and buying back stock over the next five or ten years.
So, I would imagine he's increasing his position on this weakness.
Greer: If I'm an investor, and I hear about these ten holdings, and I'm like,
"Buffett's had an incredible track record.
One of the most successful public market investors in history.
Why not just mimic this portfolio?" Why shouldn't I just go out and buy these ten stocks?
Cross: I think you'd be better off buying Berkshire Hathaway.
Gross: You could mimic these stocks, but then what?
He's constantly changing the portfolio, adding to other companies.
But more important, you're getting all the operating businesses of Berkshire Hathaway,
which are generating all those billions of dollars of cash flow.
Geico generating the float capital, which you then can invest in stocks.
Just buying these publicly traded companies,
you would not be getting all those operating businesses, as well.
Cross: I think if you want to go investing in some of these businesses, they can be fine investments.
But considering he was buying his own stock, and he's pretty particular about when they
buy that stock ... Berkshire Hathaway is one of my largest personal positions.
Gross: Me, too.
Cross: I think the stock is undervalued now, so if you wanted to put your money behind
Mr. Buffett and that team, especially with the insurance operations that Ron mentioned
and the operating businesses, buy Berkshire Hathaway.

Real Estate Money Making Secrets So Crafty It's Almost NOT Legal! ( Dave Ramsey Response ) [ NEW ] - Duration: 14:05.
all right guys beam are recording introducing the best and I do mean the
best online real estate training for entrepreneurs mainly but anybody that
wants to get into this can get into this now the reason why I say the best is
because there is no other real estate training online that will teach you
multiple sections of the real estate world and what I mean by that is do not
only learn how to become an agent or something like that that sucks by the
way but you learn how to do virtual holset virtual wholesaling is just a
glorified matchmaking process that you get paid for you learn how to find
people that are desperate or in other terms motivated to sell their properties
and you connect them to people that are regular investors meaning they buy up
the Monopoly board it's very very very simple excuse me so other than virtual
host someone you also learn how to make money as a referral so let's say you
don't want to get your license by the way you don't need a license to do
virtual wholesaling at all either but let's say you don't want to be an agent
or anything but you still want to be in a real estate space you can learn lead
generation and you can send phone calls to real estate agents realtors and whole
sellers from buyers and from sellers by setting up these properties online and
generate phone calls so there's a little bit more technical you not used to that
but just know that these people pay thousands and thousands and thousands
and thousands of dollars per month just to have leads sent to them so that they
can close big deals and commissions bigger than this most of the time all
right now the special part of the real stays school the reason why I say is the
best is because we're teaching a new style of real estate you've heard of our
B&B before but this is different this is not just renting your houses or rooms
out to just any old person it isn't just any old person being able to put their
listing on either so with Airbnb what you would do is you would contact the
somebody you would get the property or you will buy the property and you would
put the listing on Airbnb and you would have to wait for Airbnb to send you
people and phone calls and all of that but with our model that we call hotel
you actually own the properties that the phone calls are coming from so
everything is on you so you get way more money you don't have to wait around for
calls to start coming you get way more call volume which means you get way more
revenue and income coming in so the home tell model is worth it all together all
right so I'm going to show you guys was on the inside this is just the landing
page this is the link that's in the description of this video and you should
get at it right now because they have a special going on and it won't be lasting
long at the price that is that right now so if you're serious well you're on
YouTube looking up how to do this stuff and you know for schools and courses
then yeah I mean what's the point in leaving here and going somewhere else
this has virtual world selling which you're gonna discover it whether you're
going around YouTube anyway is one of the top ways of making money with real
estate being an agent is old school and other foot out of fashion every agent
then I deal with they're trying to figure out how to do wholesaling all
right but anyway not only virtual wholesaling that you're getting meaning
you'll be able to do deals in multiple cities and states simultaneously but
you're also going to learn how to do your own lead generation and you're also
going to learn the home tail model that I was telling you about all right so
yeah you do this at 24 a week now or you can do
this at 97 a month now all right so this ain't gonna last for long as far as
schools go is super super cheap and is coaching you get unlimited text coaching
you can text and coach anytime you have any questions as you can see here's the
number right here so you know these guys mean business they're real the students
are some of the students are at six figures per month that's how many deals
they're closing how much business they're generating all
right let's come over here this is David all right this is the virtual
wholesaling section of the school I'm only going to show this because I don't
want to show the whole school but as you can see it's very extensive all right
but like I said it you have unlimited text coaching so you're not just going
to get a bunch of videos you're gonna get coaching and they update the videos
weekly or bi-weekly whenever an update is and they have webinars where you can
go on live with the rest of the students and people index questions laughs so
you're never stuck anywhere I call as far as how fast you can close your first
deal some people are closing their first deals the first week but on average in
between one to three weeks all right so it's super fast and as you can see the
Commission's are huge but on average the Commission's for virtual wholesaling are
between five to ten thousand dollars and that just depends on what area of the
United States you're in but you can do this out of the country also just have
to check the laws for where you're it but anyway yeah you're gonna hit six
figures real quick that's only if you get in and go hard that's another thing
in there nobody likes a slacker or somebody that's excited at the beginning
and then when they figure out they got to do some kind of work they just melt
off or something like that and start complaining if you're really trying to
change your life man you can go hard for three months at least go off for three
months setting up your foundation and kill it do everything that they tell you
to do you even get your own national real estate site for your
clients to go to better than a business car better than a resume all right so
you get your own website they tell you everything you need so you just click on
the section and it'll take you to a video cash buyers how to find cash
buyers they have basic ways of finding cash buyers cash buyers remember those
are people that will be
buying the property from the sellers then have advanced ways finding
motivated sellers make sellers beg to sign on with you all right so this is
good if you're trying to be an agent this is good to be trying to be a whole
seller it's good if you're trying to do home tell also so I'll show you how to
find everything we show you how to do everything alright so make sellers beg
to sign with you this is a very very good and inspirational video right there
how to price the deal so that you can get them to say yes the buyer and the
seller to say yes every single time now a lot of people have jobs right now and
everything are there long fun so I show you how oh also some of you are afraid
of contracts the good thing about virtual wholesaling is is literally one
form of liability form that so that you can't get in trouble anything is shoot
super short one form and you nothing else because you're not gonna be putting
any money into the properties or investing anything into anything you can
literally do this with no money and get in here today and start killing it
alright so here's the purchase and seller agreement forms but here's how to
automate the inbound buyer and seller leads on social media here's an
Instagram Twitter alright how to rank for these how to do ringless voicemails
to the area then they have a done-for-you service where it says will
rank your buyer and seller keywords for you this is where you find the title
companies also how to use press releases to build your buyers and sellers list
how to use parasite SEO and if you don't know what SEO is is just the art of
being found or seen ranked at the top of the search engines which is like Google
and YouTube anytime you search for something and something shows up at the
top of the search engine they had to fight the competition to get up there
that's SEO alright how to become a bird dog ur make thousands and between deals
so this is just in case bill is taking longer to close the title
wasn't clear or something like that this is ways that you'll be able to make
money in between times so that you've never broke so literally you're stocked
your set up with everything you need to make a killing earn a living and make a
killing with the average I'll trade school what I want you to do is go to
the link in the description is going to bring you to this page you put your
information in here and it's going to take you to another page showing you how
you can show sign up for the real estate school where you're going to give
virtual wholesaling lead generation
and the home tail model alright and all you do is pay 97 bucks now if you go
anywhere else online you're gonna be paying three hundred four hundred and
that's just for becoming an agent training to become an agent or something
they're not gonna be showing you how to do virtual whole selling where you can
get deals like this in the next couple of weeks
who wants to go sit in the agent class you can come over here get through these
in one weekend and then put it to action and be making Commission's like this but
we can't guarantee you you have to do the work
alright you could be making Commission's like this if you do everything that
you're supposed to before the month is out alright how is that for a New Year's
resolution alright so I'm not gonna keep you guys
long I strongly recommended you go to the link in the description instead of
scrolling around YouTube all day this has every aspect of real estate that you
need in that and for 97 bucks man if you're serious about it
look I'm not a sales person is about if you're serious only you know you're
serious on that so you probably have to am still research and real estate and
write down notes if you're serious going your mama's we're home to get a credit
card 97 bucks take something to the pawnshop
that's 97 bucks man there's nothing it's a check 97 bucks
there's nothing go get a payday loan 97 bucks and you'll make it back in a
couple of weeks and who ever doubted you you'll be able to give them double what
they let you borrow all right so enroll in their for job trade school the link
is in the description

Dad only dates bisexuals so they can have threesomes with him and his girlfriend - Duration: 1:06.
A dad has revealed that he only dates bisexuals like his girlfriend so that he can continue
to sleep with other women - while they are together.
And he has a message to critics to those who disapprove of his lifestyle, saying: "If there
are girls out there that want threesomes, why should I be with one that doesn't?"
Global auto exporter Elan Ram, 36, from New York, USA, met his girlfriend, Kat Horton,
26, from Alabama, through the dating app OK Cupid in 2017.
They met after he specified on his profile that he was looking for a girl who identifies
as bisexual only.
Elan has had a rule for many years to only date girls who are bisexual so that they can
both be involved in an open relationship together without the risk of cheating.
They both insist that there is no jealousy between them as long as it is strictly a sexual
encounter and that they sleep with other girls together as a couple.
Elan, who has a son, Pierce, 10, also teaches other couples how to live this way.

America, Why Are You So Shitty? | Tear Gassing kids | GM Gives US The Finger - Duration: 6:27.
so now we're throwing tear gas at children
here's what I have to say about that
America why do you always have to be so fucking shitty like why why are we
always dicks to everyone like we're never gonna have that utopian world in
Star Trek if America keeps being dicks to everyone not to mention all the
fucking North Korea and China being dicks over there
but America we're supposed to set an example Oh so
every child that's what the migrant was stolen none of them belong to the person
that to the adult that they're with and they're using those kids as human
shields is that right Christian now even if there was proof of that the thing
about human shields is you wouldn't need one if you weren't being attacked by
something right this was kind of shit that just makes the world hate us even
more why do we always have to be dicks I mean we're letting the dumbest dick
run the fucking White House and do and say whatever the fuck he wants to say
bruh he's fuckin damn near 80 who let's their great grandpa be on
the Internet these days take the fucking phone away from him why the fuck can't
anyone control this a dumb ass anyways
minor form of tear gas my ass
and now you want Mexico transport all the migrants back to the
countries that they're escaping from like be realistic
they couldn't even they were being overwhelmed at the border before the
fucking tear gas incident started and yet you want them to figure out how to
logistically get all these 8,000 people back to essentially their deaths that's
gonna happen the same way Mexico's gonna pay for the fucking border wall come on son
I had more to say but while I was looking up this shit like reading
these articles these fucking ads on these articles are a fucking joke like
bruh I was reading about I just read Trump like bitch tweeting about build
the border wall and then I see a fucking this fucking ad
they Congress build the border wall do we have a deal or no deal shit's hilarious
then I keep fucking scrolling and then I'm reading about how there's six
thousand immigrants crammed in shelters in Tijuana and then it's like
giving tuesday and a little black kid like a little ad of a little black like
black kid I guess supposed to be from Africa and givingtuesday giving back
whoever is in charge of these ads this ad placement is a dick it's fucking
hilarious what the tear gas shit that's just gonna keep happening because we
suck but GM why y'all gotta be so shitty hey I'm a Chevy girl to my core
I Drive Chevy I my family drive Chevy I will always Drive Chevy it's just in my
DNA cuz I'm an American girl driving an
American car is supposed to mean something but y'all don't give a fuck
about that so y'all are planning on closing five branches in the North
America the largest of which is in Canada where there's damn near 4,000
people who are gonna lose their jobs and they're doing this so that you can
invest a billion dollars into cruise which is a company that's working on or
working on building the next generation of automobiles that's all fine and dandy
like I understand you're trying to get ahead of it and be in the forefront of
the new generation of cars like that's fine and dandy but the problem I have is
I thought being an American icon should mean something you're choosing to close
branches in the United States and we'll throw Canada in, North America you're choosing
to close these branches here cuz you're getting rid of a bunch of sedans that
y'all have okay I got that but i me you could always build something else in these
warehouses no okay fine so being an American icon just doesn't mean anything
you're choosing to close these branches here but you're leaving in the branches
branches open in like Mexico and shit I don't give a fuck about Americans oh
right cheap labor how the fuck can I forget
about that cheap labor is always gonna come before hearing about your your
roots right caring about what you built your brand on cheap labor is always
gonna come first well shit I guess I'll see you all motherfuckers in the next
one don't forget to Like comment if you're butthurt and subscribe and hit
the notification bell I don't know when the fuck I'm gonna post videos I just do
it when shit like this happens thanks shitty America

Real Estate Wholesaling So Easy A ++++Man Can Do It! Wholesaling Houses ( Max Maxwell Response ) - Duration: 11:59.
alright guys. we are recording introducing the best and I do mean the
best online real estate training for entrepreneurs mainly. but anybody that
want to get into this can get into this now the reason why I say the best is
because there is no other real estate training online that will teach you
multiple sections of the real estate world and what I mean by that is do not
only learn how to become an agent or something like that that sucks by the
way but you learn how to do virtual holset virtual wholesaling is just a
glorified matchmaking process that you get paid for you learn how to find
people that are desperate or in other terms motivated to sell their properties
and you connect them to people that are regular investors meaning they buy up
the Monopoly board it's very very very simple excuse me so other than virtual
hosts someone you also learn how to make money as a referral so let's say you
don't want to get your license by the way you don't need a license to do
virtual wholesaling at all either but let's say you don't want to be an agent
or anything but you still want to be in a real estate space you can learn lead
generation and you can send phone calls to real estate agents realtors and
wholesalers from buyers and from sellers by setting up these properties online
and generate phone calls so there's a little bit more technical you've not
used to that but just know that these people pay thousands and thousands and
thousands and thousands of dollars per month just to have leads sent to them so
that they can close big deals and commissions bigger than this most of the
time all right now the special part of the
state-school reason why I say is the best is because we're teaching a new
style of real estate you've heard of our B&B before but this is different this is
not just renting your houses or rooms out to just any old person it isn't just
any old person being able to put their listening on either so with Airbnb what
you would do is you would contact the somebody you would get the property or
you will buy the property and you would put the listing on Airbnb and you would
have to wait for Airbnb to send you people and phone calls and all of that
but with our model that we call hotel
you actually own the properties that the phone calls are coming from so
everything is on you so you get way more money you don't have to wait around for
calls to start coming in you get way more call volume which means you get way
more revenue and income coming in so the home tell model is worth it all together
all right so I'm going to show you guys was on the inside this is just the
landing page this is the link that's in the description of this video and you
should get at it right now because they have a special going on and it won't be
last and long at the price that is that right now so if you're serious well
you're on YouTube looking up how to do this stuff and you know for schools and
courses then yeah I mean what's the point in leaving here and going
somewhere else this has virtual will wholesaling which
you're going to discover it whether you're going around YouTube anyway is
one of the top ways of making money with real estate being an agent is old school
and out of fashion every agent then I deal with they're trying to figure out
how to do wholesaling all right but anyway not only virtual wholesaling that
you're getting meaning you'll be able to do deals in multiple cities and states
simultaneously but you're also going to learn how to do your lead generation and
you're also going to learn the home tail model that I was telling you about
all right so yeah can do this at 24 a week now or you can
do this at 97 a month now all right so this ain't gonna last for long as far as
schools go is super super cheap and as coaching you get unlimited text coaching
you can text and coach anytime you have any questions as you can see here's the

OK SO TOKYO HAS A COUNTRYSIDE TOO? 首都圏にも田舎があるんだね! - Duration: 10:14.
- [Micaela] Tokyo.
It is one of the ten most populated cities
in the entire world.
Streets are constantly buzzing,
people are always on the move,
and there's hardly a moment of silence
in between the chaos.
But did you know that the Greater Tokyo Area
is comprised of the seven surrounding prefectures as well?
It's true that Tokyo Metropolis is an exciting place to be,
but an hour away in any direction
will bring you to wide open spaces, fresh air,
small communities and old-fashioned towns
that are still largely untouched by tourism.
Today weʼre going to take a laid-back look
at some of the scenery that lies
one step beyond Tokyo as we think we know it.
(typewriter clicking)
- [Micaela] Hey guys, how's it going, it's Micaela,
and I'm currently on a four day trip
exploring the the Greater Tokyo Region.
These are the suburbs of Tokyo
that tourists don't normally come to,
so it's pretty interesting to get out here
and see what it's actually like.
So, day one we're here in Tsuru City in Yamanashi Prefecture
and it's a small town near the foot of Mount Fuji.
The really defining thing about this area
is the natural spring water
that it sources from Mount Fuji itself.
They're these gorgeous waterfalls
and crystal clear rivers flowing throughout the city.
(water flowing) (grooving music)
(water rushing)
We're catching a beautiful sunset tonight.
After an overcast day,
it's nice to see some color in the sky, it's so gorgeous.
We've got this giant waterfall right here too.
(sighs) Fresh air, beautiful scenery.
(typewriter clicking)
I love little farming towns like this.
So we're on a very bumpy dirt road
and we are heading into the mountains
here in Otsuki City. - Yes.
- We're going to have lunch.
- Great. - At a Yakuzen place,
like a medicinal, herbal lunch, and I'm really excited.
We have gone deep into the forest.
- [Norm] Yeah.
- [Micaela] And this is like a bumpy dirt road,
and it's so,
what's the word?
It's like narrow. - It's a pretty wild ride.
- Yeah. - It's pretty wild.
- [Micaela] This is a place that you would never
think to come to on your own. - No.
I would stop driving.
- Yeah. - Way down there.
- I wouldn't be brave enough to
try to find this place - No.
- without a tour guide.
So I'm really glad that we're getting brought out here.
- [Kim] Yeah.
(dog barking)
("Guessing Game" by Justnormal)
- So, this is Yakuzen-Ryouri.
It's medicinal food that
according to today's menu is based on the Libra horoscope,
which is very interesting.
And it's supposed to have medicinal properties
that are good for like your back and your liver, and,
stuff like that. - All in general.
- Yeah, probably in general.
- Yeah. - This is probably
the healthiest meal I've had in awhile,
but I actually, I love stuff like this.
I love food. - I don't think I've ever
had a meal this healthy.
- Really? - At like, ever.
This will be new experience
all in it's own. - You're gonna be
a brand new man.
- Here we go. - You're gonna walk out
of here 10 years younger.
- I'm about to eat a vegetable.
(group chuckles)
- [Man] Don't do it.
- These are real things that are happening.
(Micaela laughs)
- From what I can see,
Otsuki City is a very traditional town,
which quietly reflects on days gone by.
Itʼs attractions are mainly the outdoor type
with hiking trails, mountains, and rivers,
with a few historical monuments scattered around as well.
("Pullen Park" by Sarah, the Illstrumentalist)
So, now we're heading down to Saruhashi Bridge,
Monkey Bridge.
And it's one of the spots
that I've been looking forward to most
during this trip to Otsuki City,
just because it looks to be like
one of the more photogenic spots here in the area.
So, we're gonna see if we can get down on the river.
This water, oh, my God, the color is just gorgeous.
I love stuff like this.
I love vibrant, natural colors. (laughs)
(water rushing)
I hope I don't fall.
(camera shutter clicking)
So, we've left Yamanashi Prefecture,
we've entered Kanagawa,
and now we are driving through this winding, twisting road
in Fujino Art Sanctuary where
you can actually pass multiple art sculptures
and things, on the way.
It's kind of interesting.
If you like art.
("Teenage Lullaby" by Ooyy)
So, another thing that Sagamihara is famous for
is the JAXA,
space exploration campus.
Lots of displays here where you can learn about
things that Japan is doing
to move forward in space exploration.
Kim thought this was a missile.
(both laughing)
It's a rocket.
- It's a rocket.
They look the same, okay?
And I'm tired, so. - I understand, they do,
they do look the same.
They look, I don't know.
One of the things I love recommending to people
when they visit space exhibitions, is to try the space food.
In Japan you can find flavors like takoyaki or mochi,
and ice cream, and even canned bread.
- (laughs) I'm kinda nervous
about this one. - Yeah.
Well done. - That's literally
can-shaped bread. - Yeah.
- Oh no. - Into the can.
Ooh, okay.
Well, I'm just gonna break off a little bit
and try it. - Yeah.
- I mean...
(laughs)
- [Micaela] Itʼs definitely an experience.
Just one hour from Central Tokyo is the Akikawa Valley,
one of the closest natural retreats to Tokyo Metropolis.
Autumn is the perfect time to visit,
especially if youʼre a fan of hot springs.
Whoa, you guys.
It has been an incredibly long day
and I'm feeling wrecked, and like,
I know that I don't look that cute right now,
and I don't really wanna be on camera,
but I want you to see how excited I am for this room.
I have not had cottage,
like an actual legit cottage,
like this in Japan, ever.
(gasps) I have a kitchen?
You serious, how do I turn it on?
How do I turn on the kitchen?
I have a kitchen.
I have a kitchen.
Whoa.
Whoa.
Oh, my God.
Oh, wow, this is beautiful.
And so spacious, you don't get spacious rooms like this
in the city anywhere in Japan.
This is the type of stuff
you gotta come out to the countryside for.
All right guys, it's about 10 p.m. at night.
Dead quiet, we're in the middle of of the mountains,
it's like, you can hear the river.
- Yeah. - The running water.
- It's beautiful. - And that's about it.
And we're all dressed up in our--
- What would you call this?
- Onsen attire, I guess. - Onsen attire, yeah.
- [Micaela] Yeah, I got changed too.
There's a public foot bath out here
where you can just come and warm your feet.
You don't have any tattoos do you?
I don't think you do.
- [Kim] Me? No.
- [Micaela] You don't have any diapers either? (laughs)
- [Kim] Um, I mean.
(both laughing)
- [Micaela] Diapers and tattoos aren't allowed, so,
sorry Kim.
- Sorry, I'll take my diapers off.
(both laughing)
Hi.
- So, it's been three days,
and we've been traveling around the suburbs of Tokyo,
and like, Yamanashi and Kanagawa,
exploring the countryside out here.
And it's nice that,
for all the busyness that happens in Tokoyo City,
in Central Tokyo.
Just a few hours away, you can come out
and have a really relaxing experience just like this.
- [Kim] I actually didn't think that there would be
one step like this around Tokyo,
because I've been to a few before
but they were really busy and touristy.
This town, it's kinda out of the way,
but it's really amazing.
- And like the cabins that we're staying in
are really nice too.
It's crazy, I think this is the kinda place
I'd wanna bring a bunch of friends out too
on the weekend.
Good morning, so we are here in Hachioji City this morning,
and we've gotten up really early.
We're at the 599 Takao Museum.
We're waiting to get everybody together,
and then we're gonna head up mountain.
- Takao. - Takao.
- Takao. - Takao, Takao.
- Takao. - Did you talk about
how popular it is?
- No. - It's like one of the most
climbed mountains, like,
in the world. - Oh, yeah, they did say that.
- I think that, well that was going off
what the tour guide said. - Yeah.
Every year roughly 2.5 million people visit Mount Takao.
To reach the top,
you can either challenge one of the eight hiking courses,
or you can take the cable car,
which has the steepest incline in all of Japan,
and it's actually quite thrilling.
("Tommy" by Homebody)
Out of all the places weʼve visited,
this is definitely the most touristy,
but itʼs also the most accessible,
and you donʼt even have to be a avid hiker to enjoy it.
We're all, we're just eating,
we're eating our way up the mountain.
- I mean, we can eat,
and then walk and burn some calories
and eat some more, right?
- True.
On clear days,
this mountain becomes a very popular lookout spot.
From the very top viewpoint,
you can see all of Central Tokyo,
as well as Mount Fuji in the distance, if youʼre lucky.
Tokyo is one of the biggest cities in the world,
but if youʼre feeling a little suffocated,
you donʼt have to travel too far to take a break.
Donʼt be afraid to spread out and explore,
whether youʼre into hiking, eating, relaxing,
or just wandering somewhere new,
adventure is just a short train ride away.
Thank so much for watching.
I hope you enjoyed this video.

I miss you again on my days I want to see you, I close my eyes
You slowly getting far away from my side Don't do it, don't do it, don't
We're not supposed to fall in love Love is selfish
The days to see you are hard again My heart, my heart hurts
It hurts as much as I love you Because it's a love I shouldn't have
Even if I'm blind or deaf As long as I can love you
Only my heart knows, you are a precious person Seeing you, makes my heart hurt
It hurts as much as I love you Because it's a love I shouldn't have
I'm waiting for you again on my days I only live in longing
I'll be fine with feeling hurts It hurts, it hurts, I'm hurts
It hurts as much as I love you Because it's a love I shouldn't have
Even if I'm blind or deaf As long as I can love you

Why Are College Textbooks So Expensive? - Duration: 2:19.
- [Narrator] So, it's the start of a brand new semester.
Your teacher hands you your syllabus,
and yup, you're going to spend $150 on a textbook
for a class you don't care about.
Turns out, it's not unreasonable
for some four-year college students
to spend close to $500 a year on textbooks,
and it doesn't seem like prices
are coming down any time soon.
Textbook costs rose 67% from 2008 to 2018,
which is putting a serious strain on students' wallets.
But how did the college textbook publishing industry
become so pricey?
Almost 80% of the textbook industry
is dominated by five major publishers,
and they're doing everything in their power
to make sure that students keep buying new textbooks.
To save money, college students started buying
used textbooks for cheaper or rented them from bookstores,
but publishers took notice
and started bundling new textbooks
with special codes that restricted access,
forcing students to buy new textbooks
at the full retail price.
One study reported that 67% of students
skipped buying textbooks altogether
because of rising prices and restrictive codes,
and that's not the only thing publishers have done
to get students to buy new textbooks.
There used to be a new edition update every five years,
but now, the production cycle has been shortened
to two or three years.
New editions have reordered chapters
or changes in page numbers,
making it harder to use older editions,
and they can cost up to $150 more,
but students have some other options to consider
if they want to avoid expensive textbooks.
Some schools are starting to use open-source
educational materials instead of traditional textbooks.
That way, students can access open license texts,
digital media, and other learning materials
for a fraction of the cost,
but the movement is still in its infancy.
So far, only 6% of schools are using these open resources.
It may be a while before we see textbook prices drop,
so for now, you may have to shell over $150
for a textbook you probably won't even read.

Why are Hungarians so sick of politics? - Miért nem érdekel minket, ha valaki ellop kétmilliárdot? - Duration: 8:32.
I don't like talking about politics,
absolutely not,
I'm not even willing to follow it,
I'm happy in my little world.
I'm happy caring about my own life.
I'm perfectly well in my own little world.
When someone mentions politics in a group, common reactions include
"Let's avoid that topic"
"It's a buzzkill"
or "It'll just get someone mad"
and "Just talking about it will not change a thing"
This attitude,
not giving a shit about politics,
is known to more sophisticated circles as "apolitical behaviour".
The ancient greek
did not call people who didn't care about politics "apolitical"
they called them "idiots"
as that is the actual origin of the word.
Why is not caring about matters that affect us considered accepted, regular and cool?
Now, let's get this together.
AVOIDING CONFLICTS
Maybe the most understandable reason for
avoiding the topic of politics is its ability to create conflict.
"Rot in hell, you son of a bitch!"
Of course we know about many groups
who can talk about politics without conflict,
but usually, these groups consist of people on similar platforms.
"Oh yes"
"Yes"
But apoliticals rightfully think that since their
political opinion is unknown to their peers
and it's not a cohesive force of their group,
revealing it could only lead to arguments
with friends, family and colleagues.
Who could possibly want that, right?
People already fight about enough things every day.
LAZINESS
There are way fewer excuses for laziness though.
Talking about politics
does not only mean screaming about the liberals and the Nazis.
The political discussion means explaining positions
aligning with ideologies and public affairs, the collision of arguments.
It is an intellectual task,
which requires an investment of mental capacities and concentration.
That is exhausting as hell.
To a lot of people, it is a taxing task just
to comprehend how much 1300 billion Forints actually are,
"I'm a bit confused"
and the astounding riches of Lőrinc Mészáros
are in a different dimension.
"What do you mean by corruption?"
It is much easier to grasp and condemn
visible signs of flaunting one's wealth,
such as a Rolex watch,
a private helicopter,
and many get outraged at small-scale corruption,
like the case of the 15 million Ft Nokia box.
These sums are easy to understand
but the hundreds of billions of Forints that are mentioned
in connection with today's oligarchs are almost impossible to picture.
To demonstrate the difference between
a million and a billion:
A million seconds make up 11 days,
but a billion seconds are approximately 33 years.
DISAPPOINTMENT
This argument is maybe the most common, and the most painful as well.
"Why should I care about this? It changes nothing."
"Gyurcsány (previous PM) stole too, now Orbán steals..."
"At least now Hungarians are stealing, not multinational companies."
"I wish I could steal like that!"
Alright, the last one may be a bit of an exaggeration,
but the attitudes of disillusionment and impotent disappointment
can be found anywhere.
"I live my life, caught up in my world,
and that is what I care about.
Me talking about politics would mean nothing, so to speak."
A possibly valid point as an individual does represent
very little when faced with the powers-that-be
that leave the individual in trouble instead of serving them.
This feeling is only strengthened by the fact that
it's not only the dozens
of boring television talk shows that do not matter.
"Mr. Prime Minister!
You said you usually make that distinction, but you did not."
But the protests attended by tens or hundreds of thousands
of people fail to have consequence
for the power
or any positive effect whatsoever.
So what could your average person achieve
by venting his political frustrations?
FEAR
The other self-absolving strategy tied to disappointment
is the lack of political confidence.
Everyone dares to argue about who the better footballer is,
or which one is the better burger chain,
but many of them fall silent when it comes to political parties or politicians.
This stems from the fact that forming a political opinion
is mostly a moral question,
and it is about a real choice of value,
and it is immoral, really,
to be unwilling or afraid
to choose between sets of values.
Many also feel that politics is something about
which you can only express an opinion if you know a lot about it.
If they cannot defend their viewpoint.
They risk becoming laughable.
This is a fear that is justified.
"Well, well, well, well,
this...
this... this...
lock reduction...
"What is lock reduction?"
"Well, I just heard something."
But everyone has the right
to form their opinions on politics based on
their situation and their own experiences,
the worst case scenario is that they are wrong,
and will have to rethink their stance.
That's still better than being apolitical.
That is all for the general attributes of apolitical behaviour
It will be discussed further
what are the special factors in Hungary that help it spread?
"Well, I think it's better
if I don't know what's going on in the country."
"Politics mostly just annoy me,
so
I don't watch TV, I'm not reading the papers."
MEDIA
It is important to pin down that a politician is merely
a servant who is tasked with guarding the keys to the pantry,
and if we see that pantry getting empty,
then that servant can be removed.
And if politicians talk to journalists
from non-government media like this…
"I'm willing to talk to the press,
but some simply do not fit that definition."
The hungarian football...
I don't answer to fake news factories.
...that signals an utter confusion regarding their roles,
as they are not only neglecting the journalists
but the masses of viewers and readers whom they represent as well.
It is a complete misunderstanding when politicians
believe they have the right to answer
only to media outlets they like, while the rest can shut up.
Politicians are
elected officials meant
to serve the public,
and it is their duty to inform constituents
by answering press inquiries.
"Can you not ask me something I can give a positive answer to?"
Getting no answers is infuriating for a while,
but as time passes, it becomes business as usual.
NGO-s
But incomplete information is not
the only thing increasing apolitical behaviour.
Systematic attacks on non-governmental organisations,
suffocating independent representation of interests also affects this.
The job of NGOs would be
furthering the causes of
human dignity,
freedom of expression,
democracy,
equality,
rule of law,
respect for human rights
including the rights of minorities.
When a government carries out attacks against
these causes and NGO-s raise their voices
or perform activities that the government does not like,
they get in the crosshairs immediately.
"...who serves what interests...
Foreign interests,
or domestic interests…"
That really takes away the will to care about
public affairs from a lot of people.
THE OPPOSITION
Of course, there are the politicians outside the ruling party,
who play the role of the opposition with varying levels of credibility.
"Oh, for heavens above, who was it, Soros, or who?"
The "cooperation" and the self-consuming,
half-assed tactical trickery of the opposition every four years
really do give a wonderful incentive
for those prone to apoliticism
to not give a damn about the whole thing.
"Well, it's just that I am not really into politics,
I don't care"
"I can't change it alone,
if a lot of the little people get together then maybe
there can be something, but it doesn't come down to a single vote."
So to conclude what we've talked about so far:
To solve the dilemma of apoliticism,
one must learn to accept the fact
that there are many things in this world
that we seemingly cannot control.
Climate change,
fuel prices,
Hungarian football,
and of course, politics.
But in reality, we have a degree of control
over all these things, but we either don't know that
or misjudge the importance of our power,
so we don't feel that our opinion changes anything.
Absolving ourselves from any responsibility,
pushing that responsibility onto others
only helps political systems that stand
because people believe their offer
of exchanging political inactivity
for a more peaceful, easier life.
"And at the end of the year,
if the numbers check out,
I'll probably provide another raise."
The campaign against NGOs, the press,
and anyone publicly dissenting does serve this exact purpose:
There shouldn't be any criticism,
nor any willingness to listen to any criticism.
To those who conceited, good riddance.
But if you don't think this is alright,
you still have many options to
get informed,
to argue,
to voice dissent,
or make a stand for values you hold dear.
This is the attitude that makes it much harder
for politicians and their circles to deceive society
because they could be facing more informed,
more conscientious voters
Instead of easily manipulated apolitical ones.
"I don't know what they will be like...
seriously.
But I believe they'll do alright."
