ZewBox Luxury Watch Club Review - S&B Wraith & Skyline Unboxing Videos what is up guys this is Andrew with my watch addiction comm and today we have
something again I know guys I'm sorry I say this every week every week I think
I'm bringing you something cool otherwise I wouldn't waste my time on it
but guys seriously have something really really neat to show you it's a new watch
Club out there it's not a subscription service it's a luxury watch Club now you
guys may have been seeing some ads around for this you may have even seen a
couple other videos around for this and you may have already caught it on
Kickstarter but guys I wanted to dive into zoo box for a minute it's a new
luxury watch Club that is recently come to Kickstarter and is looking to offer a
watch to its members once a quarter now what sets this watch Club apart is the
fact that it's not like typical ZewBox Luxury Watch Club Review - S&B Wraith & Skyline Unboxing Videos subscription services in the fact that
they are locked into a commitment although I know a lot of the
subscription services don't necessarily not lock you into a commitment anymore
but that is something from the past that people had to be concerned with
but the really really cool thing about this Club is that you know what watch
you're gonna be getting prior to you purchasing it prior to you spending the
money prior to you out laying you see if it is a watch that you enjoy a watch
that you're gonna like one step that's gonna blow your mind a little bit more
is you can actually customize this watch a little bit so depending on the level
that you pick they have both a premier club level as well as an executive club
level ranging anywhere from a hundred and forty nine dollars on up depending
on whether or not you jump in during the Kickstarter campaign will kind of go
into that here in a few minutes or if you sign up with zoo box after the fact
once they're through their Kickstarter campaign the thing that really really
caught my attention about this is because you guys have seen me do a lot
of videos in the past on if you've been watching this channel for
you see me do a lot of videos where I love the surprise factor of a watch I
love opening up the box I have the disposable income to be able to I don't
want to say throw away my money on watches but I don't mind the surprise
factor of a mystery watch but this is zoom box is a luxury watch club that

necessarily don't have the disposable income but they want to be a part of
something and that was probably wrong I don't necessarily mean disposable income
what I mean more is somebody that don't have aren't comfortable with the level
of risk that you would get from participating in a subscription service
and actually paying for a watch that you might not necessarily like you guys have
seen me do a bunch of unboxing videos where I've unboxed a watch and I've
hated the watch right out of the bat um but guess what I had already spent my
money on it so I owned it so my only choice at that point was to sell the
watch trade it away either way you kind of want to watch
that you like coming right out of the box so that's where zoo box comes in the
luxury watch Club guys we're gonna take a minute here and dive into their
Kickstarter campaign and then we're actually going to have the chance
because zoo box actually some is some of these watches to take a look at we're
gonna have a chance to dive into the actual watches that are gonna be shipped
for their first shipment which is going to be roughly March timeframe of 2019 so
let me get set up here and we will dive into their campaign so as you can see we
are logged into my Kickstarter profile incidentally down in the description
section below if you want to see all of the Kickstarter campaigns that I've
backed I will post a link directly to my public Kickstarter profile so you guys
can see what I've begged and what I have not but we are on the zoo box campaign
you can see they have a pledge goal of $42,000 right now they're about halfway
there raising about $22,000 with 17 days to go now they are Bay
right here in the US you can notice they are based right down in Boca Florida
so right here based in the US I've talked to the creators of this a couple
of times really really really great bunch of guys
if you guys are curious about backing this definitely log on to Kickstarter
reach out to the brand owner and they will definitely respond back with any
questions you have but if we jump down here you can see right off the bat I
currently am a pledge member I've pledged three hundred and sixty four
dollars in u.s. and what that's going to give me is that's going to give me both
at the Kickstarter pricing that is going to give me both the premier club level
as well as the executive club level because I wanted to be a part of both
memberships for this inaugural one I am I'm I'm excited to be able to jump in at
both of those in a discounted rate now if you look at it here you can see right
here the premier club level has a future retail price of 149 dollars so that
would be a hundred and forty nine dollars per quarter because they're
planning on partnering with companies per quarter my package price and
Kickstarter price right here is forty percent off the future retail price and
then 21 percent off of the executive club level price now the really really
cool thing about zoo box and about their Kickstarter campaign is if you sign up

for the entire time you're a part of the club so if you sign up now and that's
one of the reasons quite honestly one of the reasons why I'm pledging right now
personally is because I wanted to lock in that price going forward into the
future so that in the event that I really want to double down on this and
go hard in the future with these watches I'm already locked in at that cheaper
price I'm not paying that three hundred and forty nine dollars a quarter or that
hundred and forty nine dollars depending on the club level but if we
scroll down here and see a little bit about what we do what they stand for one
of the big things that this company is about is precise engineering they want
to make sure that their materials in the craftsmanship in the watches that they
are sending out to their members are quite honestly some of the some of the
nicer models they don't want to send for lack of a better term crap out to their
partners or their club members and they also want to give their their members
the best prices now this is a team of engineers designers as well as people
that have been in the watch community for a while and have a lot of
experiences with watch company now one thing that they stress they stress this
every place I have seen their club not a subscription box now in my estimation
the difference between a club and a subscription box is the fact that with a
subscription box you have no idea what you're getting I don't care if it's a
watch subscription box I don't care if it is a dog toy subscription box if it's
a outdoor or a knife subscription box alcohol whatever you want to call it you
don't know what you're getting until that subscription box shows up club is a
little bit different in this instance you are gonna be able to see not
necessarily feel but you're gonna be able to see and select the watch you
want um ahead of time and if you don't like to watch that company or don't like
the watch that they're sending out for that quarter guess what guys you don't
have to buy it you don't have to spend your money to be able to maintain your
space in the club now one of the cool things about this is when they've
partnered with a company they're partnering in such a way that allows
them to customize the watches that they're going to be sending out so each
quarter what the club members are gonna be able to do is they're gonna be able
to do things like say listen I want the I want this flat stainless steel
finished or a brushed finish or I want the PVD coating the polished coating
whatever the watch comes in they can select the different finishes that are
on the watch case itself they're gonna be able to select their bracelet style
and finish that to go with that watch as well as the
I'll color of this watch so it's really a bespoke design in the fact that guys
you're gonna be able to customize the watch to your personal preferences not
only do you know what watch are getting ahead of time but also it's built to
your preferences it's built to what you guys like so I just I know I sound like
an infomercial I'm gonna sound like an infomercial a bunch of times with this
but it's because I'm excited about I think this is just a a really cool
concept you guys if you follow me for a while you guys I recognize I know I love
the surprise factor I've said it over and over and over and over and over
again but being able to be a part of something like this is a really cool
concept also in addition to being surprised I actually get to pick up a
watch that I want so I'll scroll down the campaign a little bit more there's
no commitment no cancellation fees you can skip a quarter you can send it as a
gift share with friends and family it doesn't matter they're not locking
you into anything with this with this program right here you can see the 2019
schedule so for January February and March they're gonna be working on
collecting all the information from the backers in this instance on their
Kickstarter campaign and getting the watch designs that you guys prefer what
you want for a diol design what you want for coatings bracelet all the things I
just said they'll be collecting all that information the partner company is going
to be manufacturing the watches with a target delivery date of March so March
2018 is when these watches are gonna be shipping out and then it's pretty much
every quarter right after that every quarter they're gonna be releasing new
watches now one thing that's kind of cool about this too is that because the
guys that are running this company have been in the business have been in the
industry for a while whether they be collectors whether they just enjoy
watches whatever the case it may be they know what they're looking for they know
what they want they know what a lot of their customers are gonna watch sapphire

from what I'm being told they won't be sending out any watches that are coated
with mineral glass some of the movements that they're gonna
be using they're gonna be using that Swiss ETA 2824 movement they're gonna be
targeting that for their executive level and they're gonna be targeting Swiss
random movements for their premier level watches with Ronda quartz movements for
their premier level and then that's with ETA 2824 automatic movement for future
you can see Smith and Bradley is the first company they're focusing with and
you can go down through here there's all sorts of different stuff that they're
doing to promote Smith and Bradley here is the Wraiths which is the premier club
level and incidentally we do have these watches to take a look at with you guys
here in just a second oh one thing that I want to point out also if I can scroll
back down to it so this is one cool thing about a club that's coming off the
ground just like this is because they are so new because they're in their
Kickstarter campaign because they want to hit the ground running and do the
right thing for the customers they've received a lot of feedback from their
current backers already and one of the things that their backers told them is
they really really want a stainless steel bracelet option for some of these
watches so what did sue box do they figured out how to do it they added a
stainless steel bracelet option for the watches in their clubs for this quarter
you can add thirty-five dollars in receive a stainless steel bracelet to go
with that premier level Club watch that they'll be shipping out scroll back here
now this is what I'm talking about when I mean you can pick your designs you can
pick your color combinations whether it be the case styling the PVD coating the
stainless steel the the dial what if you want you guys can pick now they do have
white kind of a polo blue or and off blue and then a deeper blue along with
the orange I know I've got a couple of watches I'm just gonna point this
why are people so into orange dyes that's that's one thing that I have one
I have a reactor watch with an orange dial and I think if I'm looking at my
collection here I think that is the only orange dial watch I have but it just
caught my attention because it's one of those things that make me go I'm not
really into that orange that much so it kind of blows my mind a little bit
anyway the executive line that they have is the skyline and guys we're gonna be
able to take a closer look at these here in a minute now anybody that's watching
my unboxings before knows that I already have a watch from Smith and Bradley
watches I have that Smith and Bradley Atlantis that I had received from
another watch subscription service now if you guys have watched my videos you
guys know that one of the things that I'm not a huge huge fan of on this watch
is the fact that it's got the bead blasted finish I'm just not a huge fan
of the bead blasted finish on the watch now head I received this watch from Zhu
box versus another subscription company guess what guys I would have been able
to say you know what I can't stand be blasted finishes I think I want to go
with a PVD coating on this one and in this instance in this SMB Atlantis I've
absolutely would have loved that PVD coating ahead a lot more than D be
blasted finish anyway that's just another one of those really really cool
things that comes up when you're looking at a club versus a service subscription
service it's not a surprise you guys know what you're getting you guys get to
customize the watch for yourself ahead of time and that's just to me that's a
really really cool concept somebody that wants to be a part of something somebody
that wants to be a part of a club where an organization can bring you different
manufacturers perhaps manufacturers that you have not seen before in watches I
think it's just a really really cool concept and I think they hit the they
hit the spot where some of these subscription companies miss in the fact
that guess what guys if you don't like the watch you don't
to order at that quarter you don't need to pay the subscription fees or the dues
for that quarter in the club you guys can skip and wait until next
quarter to get the next watch see if that's watch is something that you would
like because as I mentioned no subscription no subscription fees no
commitment you guys don't have to lock yourself in anything like that anyway I
know I've been rambling here but it's just something that I think is really
really cool the first watch we're gonna take a look at that they sent us is
actually the first watch that they'll be sending out in the February March
timeframe if I'm remembering correctly this is their premier club level watch
now the premier club level if you remember taking a look at the pledge
with me is roughly eighteen and ninety nine dollars per quarter depending on
when you got into their Kickstarter campaign if you're going in now I
believe it's like ninety nine dollars but guys one thing to remember is that
ninety nine dollars in that Kickstarter campaign locks you into that Kickstarter
pricing in the future so if they raise the quarterly Club prices in the future
if you're a member of the Kickstarter campaign you don't have to worry about
those prices going up but the very first one they are sending out is a wrath by
Smith and Bradley watches now this is a quartz diver quartz diver that is using
a Swiss Rhonda movement now if you give me a second here I will get it out of
the box and get it off this pillow and we can take a closer look but guys I
just want to point out one other thing this guy actually comes with a silicone
strap also so it's not just the NATO strap that comes on it you also get a
pretty nice silicone strap along with this Smith and Bradley wrath throw that
guy back in there we'll take a zoom in and take a look around this watch a
little bit more now as we zoom in on this watch you will see this guy is the
stainless steel case black dial color combinations that I personally love I
think they just look very very classy a little bit edgy on this dial has that ZewBox Luxury Watch Club Review - S&B Wraith & Skyline Unboxing Videos
kind of wave pattern so to speak right in the middle and like really digging
the hands let's watch that minute in our hands I'm
really really liking one thing that I think would have been really cool is if
they went with a second hand that was of that same styling but guys that is just
a personal preference and nothing against this watch whatsoever you can
also tell I'm a huge huge fan of that stainless steel on black that is in this
watch now this guy does come on a NATO strap and as you saw does have a
silicone strap that is included in the box however for an extra $35 you through
on their pledge and yes guys I recognize I just sounded like I was on QVC and
that's not what I intended at all but anybody that knows me knows I love
stainless steel bracelets I love a bracelet versus a silicone strap leather
strap or NATO strap any day of the week guys guess what you can get the matching
stainless steel bracelet for this guy whether it be in the stainless steel or
the PVD coating if that's what you select for an extra 35 dollars so that's
a really really good deal in my opinion considering the fact that you know if
you're going to go out and buy one to add on to this whether you want to do
like an engineering bracelet or something like that for a decent one
you're gonna be paying more than that now this quartz diver does come with a
unidirectional bezel which has a nice solid click to it there is no play in
that bezel whatsoever that I'm feeling so I'm really really diggin that this
guy does have c3 super loom on those hour indices as well as those hour
minute and second hands so low-light visibility should be pretty good in this
if you stick around towards the end of the video I have some loom shots of this
watch so you'll be able to check out that luma in this guy this is an AR
coated sapphire crystal one of the things about zoom box is they want
premium brands I'm sorry premium specs on these watches so any of the watches
any watch companies that they partner with they're demanding sapphire crystal
and a good good good build quality on the
watch otherwise they are not going to be sending in them out to their club
backers now this guy is 42 millimeters forty nine millimeters lug - lug with a
thickness of 12 millimeters so it's a decent size watch for my seven and a
quarter inch wrist this is going to be a good size watch a
good fit for me now the next watch we're gonna be taking a look at is from their
first executive level Club now if I remember correctly this was about 275
bucks again guys they send out watches per quarter in from it's my
understanding that they are gonna be partnering with a different watch
manufacturer each quarter to bring us new manufacturers potentially
manufacturers we do not have experience with benefit is once again you get to
see it beforehand now this watch that we're gonna take a look at as I
mentioned is their first executive club level watch this is the skyline by Smith
& Bradley now this guy is a little bit dressier actually a lot dressier than
this is intended to be a dress watch a watch that I will definitely be wearing
with my suits if you guys follow me on instagram / watch addiction us you will
see me Monday through Friday I am in a suit on the weekends I'm rocking some of
my we'll call it more out there watches but this is a watch that I would be
wearing during the week we take it out here just real quick before we zoom in
this guy does come with a NATO strap also which will allow this skyline to be
a little bit more casual than the bracelet that it's on so if you give me
just a second I will get it off this pillow in we will zoom in so the zooming
in on this guy you can see this is another one that I'm digging
specifically do that do to that color combination so you guys know I'm a huge
fan of black and white and then this black almost checkered dial has a lot of
a lot of depth to it with that texture along with those applied indices both
black with that c3 loom those hour and minute hands are also
loomed on this guy as well if we take a look around this watch we are dealing
with another 42 millimeter case design which again is a great design I'm sorry
great size for my 700 quarter inch wrist this guy is actually powered by guested
automatic movement that is a Swiss ETA 2824 - - automatic movement in this
watch anybody knows has heard me talk about those Swiss ETA 2824
those are a workhorse movement you see those in a lot of higher-end micro brand
watches definitely a step up from that and h35 movement or some of the other
movements than mio two movements anything like that that you see me
review that also right there on the back of this case that is a sapphire
transparent case back and again because zoom box demands some of the best from
the partners that they deal with this is a sapphire crystal on the front of this

thickness also so pretty low profile not complaining on that at all you can see
this guy actually comes with that mesh link bracelet with the fold-over clasp
now anybody that has heard me talk about these bracelets in the past for me
personally guys I don't know if it's me I don't know if I just don't wear them
right I don't know what the deal is I'm not a huge fan of these bracelets
because with me personally they tend to pull hair a little bit but that does not
mean that I cannot throw a nice leather strap actually this watch would look
really really nice on a almost an alligator print leather strap or that
black NATO strap that came with it as well now this is not a screw down Chrome
but it does have a rubber gasket in there to help with water resistance
alright guys so that was a little bit about zoo box the luxury watch club that
is currently running a Kickstarter campaign took a minute to take a look at
both the skyline and the Wraiths from Smith and Bradley watches that will be
sent out as a part of their premier club level and their executive club level for
their first shipments coming here in March 2018 guys post up in the comments
