"those will be with the believers", [Quran 4:146]

and not "of the believers". Pay attention. "With" (the believers)

Because (for the hypocrites), their hypocrisy (lowered their rank)

Yes. It is sufficient to make them "with the believers"

But "Of" is a very high rank e.g. when the Prophet ﷺ says,

"Hussein is of me, and I am of Hussein" (He is part of me and I am part of him), [Ibn Majah]. This is one degree

But, on the other hand, when he ﷺ says,

"I and the guardian of the orphan will be in the Garden like that," indicating his two fingers.[Bukhari]

i.e. not of me, but with me (a different degree)

"Whoever does (this or that), then he is with me in Paradise" .... with

So "With him" is different than "Of him". So when the Prophet ﷺ says,

"This person is of me", it indicates a great degree but "with me" is (a lower one)

To achieve the degree of "of / مِنْ", one must become annihilated in whomever he will be "of"

i.e. when you become annihilated in the Prophet ﷺ, then you are "of him ﷺ"

but as long you are not annihilated, then you are what? (With him ﷺ)

Yes. (Annihilation is necessary to reach the rank "of him ﷺ")

KSI & CALFREEZY REACT TO OUR 'REAL OR FAKE?' GOAL! | HD - Duration: 4:42.

JJ: You've got a good technique there you know

Ah cheers man

So we're with Calfreezy (Cal) and KSI (JJ)

And we're going to get

a knuckleball freekick reaction

obviously the 'Real or Fake?' one

Lets see how we go...

Cal: Not gonna lie, watching it on this... I don't think we'll even see the knuckleball

Cal: It's like one of those vintage films

Hopefully it doesn't buffer as well, cos the WiFi has been wack today

This is it...

Cal: A bit close...

I think it looks closer than it is... It's about 25 yards out

Cal: Oh ok

JJ: That run up...

Cal: That was a... That was fake, that's fake

Do you reckon?

Cal: Yeah yeah, cos look yeah

Cal: Cos something like that is going to take a bit of wind ok..

Cal: And look at the trees at the back, there's no wind

Honestly, but you would be surprised, the wind actually makes it difficult to hit the knuckleball

Cal: Unless it was that World Cup ball... The World Cup ball that literally just moves

The Jabulani?

Cal: So unless you're not using that ball, then that's a myth

Cal: Fake...

The thing is... 'Fake' is a compliment I would say

Cal: So is it real?

It is yeah yeah

Cal: It's real?

Yeah it's 100% legit, yeah

JJ: How many takes does it take to do that?

Well this whole video... There's 3 shots and obviously the second one is the best one

Cal: Oh ok

So obviously this is the second shot in it

Cal: That's a serious run up

Proper like a Gazelle...

Cal: The thing is though, is once that you've seen the run up, it better be something good

That build up for all that

I mean, if we showed you one more, do you reckon you would believe it?

Cal: Yeah go on then

So we'll get one more up...

More evidence...

Cal: Woah...

That is some intense effect right there!

Cal: You guys...

Cal: Oh that's filthy

So these are our 'Top 10 (Knuckleball Freekicks) Goals From 2014'

A blast from the past!

That run up is very signature...

Infamous for it

I've got no hair there either

Cal: What you gonna rate this out of 10 JJ?

JJ: That was a good one!

Cal That's an 8.8

At number 8 as well

Cal: Ooo that just didn't move at all!

It's the deadball ones that are awesome... When you get no spin on it!

JJ: You've got a good technique there you know

Ah cheers man

Cal: Jesus... So do you literally just bang knuckleballs

Yeah, literally

Cal: I don't think I can Knuckleball you know... I need to learn

We're more than happy to teach ya...

Ah without a doubt!

The thing is... We've taught people how to do it as well

In like, the space of an hour or so...

Obviously it takes a lot of practice

But as long as you know the basic steps

JJ: Would you say it's practical in an actual football match?

Yeah

Cal: Ronaldo does it all the time...

JJ: How many goals has he scored?

None...

Cal: Well he's scored a lot of goals...

Cal: Woah... I can see you're buzzing off that

We invested in a GoPro by this point... so we had a replay view as well

JJ: Nice

And the last one, this is you in goal isn't it?

Yeah

Cal: So who's this one?

This is me, with Charlie in Goal

Cal: Aaaaah... Moves

Cal: That's the same reaction every time

Knows he's hit a sweet one

It's like - What do I do?

Cal: I don't believe it

Charlie's face...

JJ: You could've saved that...

I've got to try better

I think, if we had you in goal trying to save them, that would be absolutely hysterical... That would be nuts!

JJ: The Gazelle...

You've got to do Gazelle toes in goal...

JJ: Yeah

That's quality... Right thanks for your time guys

How Often Should You Have A Cheat Meal for Fat Loss? (5 Cheat Meal Tips) Neil O'Nova@Stronger+Leaner - Duration: 15:38.

Hi, I'm Neil O'Nova.

In this video I'm going to answer a really common question, which is:

How often often should you have a cheat meal for fat loss...or a cheat day...on a diet?

And SHOULD you have cheat meals at all?

Keep watching to get your answer.

First I want to talk about the DOWNSIDE, or the negative consequences of having cheat

meals.

First let's run through a common cheat meal scenario.

Let's say that summer's coming up, and you want to lose some weight and get in shape

so you can look good at the beach or the pool.

And so you start having all these healthy, low-calorie meals to lose weight.

But pretty quickly you start to feel a craving for those old favorite junk foods: ice cream,

pizza, chocolate.

And then, maybe it's Friday morning, and somebody brings donuts in to work.

You've been feeling deprived, and these donuts look REALLY good.

And everybody else is having them.

And someone asks if you're going to have one.

And in the moment you make a split-second decision, and you think: you know what, I'll

just make this a cheat meal.

That's part of dieting, right?

So you have a donut.

You feel a little guilty afterward, but you know it's not that bad of a mistake.

And then, later that night say you go out to a restaurant with some friends, and you

see everybody else ordering these delicious-sounding meals.

Steak and tacos and pasta.

And you're sitting there, looking at the menu, and on one hand there's the healthy 600-calorie

meal with grilled chicken that doesn't look very good...and on the other hand there's

a really tasty-looking steak burrito that just sounds great right now.

And you think: well...maybe this is just a cheat DAY.

Instead of a cheat MEAL.

So you order the burrito.

And what the heck, get a beer while you're at it.

And when you're done with the burrito, you know it's a cheat day so you might as well

make the most of it, right?

So you order dessert too.

Now at this point you're feeling pretty guilty, because you know that you pretty much just

destroyed your diet for the day.

And you might have even destroyed it for the week (depending on how much you ate that day).

And that guilt takes a toll on your motivation.

When you wake up the next morning, you're still feeling bad about yourself.

So instead of getting right back to your healthy meals, you just eat whatever you want for

breakfast.

And that ruins your motivation for the rest of the day.

So you have an unhealthy, high-calorie lunch too.

And dinner.

Before you know it, that one cheat meal has turned into a weekend-long bender...which

in some cases kills your motivation to even lose weight at all.

OK, let's pause here.

What I just described is a pretty bleak picture.

And it's not always that bad.

Not by a long shot.

But when you have cheat meals the wrong way...that's what can happen.

That HAS happened to a lot of us already.

So let's break down what went wrong.

Mistake #1 is you decided on a whim to have a cheat meal.

You decided in the moment.

And a lot of times that's how it happens, because you find yourself in a situation where

you want to eat something that you wouldn't normally eat when you're trying to lose weight.

But it's better...it's ideal...if you can schedule your cheat meal in advance.

And ideally, you will schedule your cheat meals at a strategic time.

Such as: right after a workout, so you know that more of those calories will go toward

repairing your muscles, or at least on a day when you know it's not likely to turn into

a landslide of calories.

So if you have a cheat meal on Sunday night vs. Friday night, you'll be a lot less likely

to turn that into a weekend-long bender.

Because by the time Monday morning rolls around, you're going to feel like you're back into

your weekday routine.

Mistake #2 is that it didn't stop.

Your cheat meal turned into a cheat day.

I know Tim Ferriss encourages a cheat day once a week where you just go crazy and eat

whatever you want...but personally I really do NOT like the idea of an entire cheat DAY.

Unless you are eating a very restrictive diet the other 6 days per week, a cheat days can

absolutely RUIN your attempt to lose weight and get lean.

Because think about the numbers for a second.

Let's say that you normally eat 2500 calories a day to maintain your weight.

And to lose weight, you adopt a diet of 2000 calories per day.

So that's a calorie deficit of 500 calories a day, or 3500 calories per week: which adds

up to about 1 pound of weight loss every week.

But if you have a cheat day, you can EASILY eat an extra 3500 calories in a day.

Especially if you're going out to restaurants, eating fast food, and just generally eating

whatever you want.

Which means that your cheat day can wipe out your calorie deficit, which means: no weight

loss.

Mistake #3 is that your cheat day made you feel guilty, and wiped out your motivation

to continue on with your diet.

When you do a cheat meal correctly, it should be the exact opposite: a good cheat meal satisfies

any urges for certain high-fat, high-carb foods, and allows you to get back to your

diet and get your weight loss back on track.

Remember, guys: losing weight and burning fat is a marathon, not a sprint.

Even if you do have a cheat day where you eat way too much...that's not that big of

a deal as long as you get back on track.

To get a lean body with low bodyfat, you need consistent motivation over the long run.

You cannot afford to feeling guilty because of a cheat day and let that ruin your motivation

moving forward.

OK, so those are some of the mistakes, some of the things that can go wrong with cheat

meals.

But it's not all bad.

Because cheat meals can actually have some great benefits...if you do them right.

And when you do them right, there are 2 main benefits to having a cheat meal.

There is a physical/hormonal component, and there's a mental component.

The physical benefit of cheat meals is mostly hormonal.

When you're eating at a calorie deficit for days on end, some of your weight-loss-related

hormones like leptin can start to dip.

And having a big meal, particularly a high-carb meal, can sort of "reset" those leptin levels

to keep your metabolism high and your hunger low.

The mental benefit of cheat meals is that they can help prevent you from feeling deprived.

If you're starting to feel like you never get to eat anything good, like your diet is

way too restrictive, then a strategic cheat meal can help you feel better by allowing

you to indulge in some of the foods that you don't normally get to eat.

And that can actually INCREASE your motivation...which, as we just learned, is probably the most important

thing to losing weight (in the long run).

So those are the pros and cons of cheat meals.

Now here are a couple tips to help you use cheat meals in a way that's smart and in a

way that works.

Tip #1 is: have cheat MEALS, not cheat DAYS.

I talked about this earlier; a cheat DAY is just too much.

Tip #2 is: whenever possible, try to schedule your cheat meals.

I talked about this a little bit earlier.

This allows you to think about what you're going to have during your cheat meal, which

gives you something to look forward to; something to anticipate.

And mentally that can go a long way in helping you stick to your weight-loss plan.

Good times to schedule your cheat meals are Sunday night, when it's less likely to spill

over into the next day, and after a workout, when more calories will go toward rebuilding

your muscles.

Tip #3 is: try to have your cheat meals at home and make the food yourself.

This can save you a TON of unnecessary calories.

Restaurants often use a lot of oil when they cook, and usually it's cheap vegetable oil

that is not very healthy for anybody.

So restaurant food tends to be really high in fat.

But you can usually have the exact same meal at home...it can taste just as good...and

have literally half the calories.

If you want a hamburger for your cheat meal...a burger with fries at a bar could easily contain

1500-2000 calories.

Easily.

But make one at home...with cheese and everything...and you can keep the whole thing under 700 calories.

Tip #4 is try to have your cheat meals to once or twice

a week, depending on how lean

you are.

OK guys, the last thing I want to leave you with, and this is probably the MOST important

tip I have for you:

Follow a nutrition plan that allows you to eat the foods you love.

Because the truth is that if that a smart nutrition plan can incorporate foods like

pizza, and burgers, and tacos...

And they don't HAVE to be a cheat meal!

I just gave the example of a 700-calorie burger.

You could eat that 3 times a week if you wanted.

Same goes for tacos or pizza:

I personally eat these foods all the time.

Probably at least once a week for tacos and pizza.

And you know what?

It's NOT even a cheat meal.

It's just a normal part of my diet.

And when you follow a SMART nutrition plan, that's what happens: you get to eat the foods

you love, consistently, without blowing your diet out of the water.

If you're looking for a plan like that, I recommend checking out my brand-new program

called: The Stronger+Leaner Guide to Getting Ripped.

It'll teach you everything you need to know to get a strong, lean, RIPPED body...while

still eating delicious foods like steak, potatoes, pizza, tacos--regularly.

Up or Down? The Haunted Mansion Stretching Room - Duration: 2:54.

When you step into the famous octagonal room, your first stop at the Haunted Mansion, the

disembodied ghost-host asks: "Is this room actually stretching?

Or is it just your imagination?"

Well it's not your imagination.

It is stretching, but in which direction?

The answer to that question actually depends on which Haunted Mansion you're visiting.

Both rooms do stretch.

However in Disneyland over in California guests are lowered down as the room stretches while

guests over in Disney World in Florida remain put as the ceiling stretches upwards.

So why is that?

Well the original design was born out of necessity.

You see, Disneyland isn't a very large park, and so Disney always had to be careful with

how they used the space they had.

When it came time to designing the Haunted Mansion, the idea was to place the bulk of

the ride building on the outer edge of the park, outside of the Disneyland Railroad which

acted as a border.

The ride's facade and entrance, however, would remain on the inside of the park, creating

the problem of getting guests onto the other side of the railroad tracks.

That's where the stretching room comes in.

By lowering everyone underground on the open air elevator disguised as a room, guests would

be able to easily and safely make their way to the doom buggies where they could experience

the ride on the other side of the tracks.

Over in Florida size wasn't an issue so they didn't have to employ the same solution.

In fact, it would have been hard to do even if they wanted to.

Because the waterbed in Florida is so shallow, Disney can't dig too far down into the ground.

It's the same reason why the famous underground tunnels known as the utilidoors aren't actually

underground.

They were built first on the surface level of the land, and the rest of the Magic Kingdom

was built on top of it.

Even though they didn't need to lower guests underground in Disney World, the stretching

room was still a key part of the Haunted Mansion.

So instead, the room was designed such that the upper half would raise up when stretching

while guests stood in place.

That said, there is one similar instance of that trick being used in the Magic Kingdom.

Because the main building for Space Mountain sits outside of the Walt Disney World Railroad,

guests need to somehow get onto the other side of the tracks.

That's why the queue for Disney World's Space Mountain requires descending a few gradual

ramps before eventually ascending back up into the main queue room.

The Haunted Mansion's stretching room is a wonderful example of Imagineering ingenuity.

When faced with a problem they found a creative solution that not only solved the issue, but

made for a memorable part of an even more memorable ride.

Is Donald Trump A Dunce Or A Genius? - Duration: 9:54.

Hi Everyone.

My name is Tom Last and I am an Ethical Individualist.

The Philosophy Of Freedom was written by Rudolf Steiner over 100 years ago.

It presents a Science of Human Freedom to establish a solid foundation for Ethical Individualism,

and for our Social and Political Life.

The cover of this weeks Time magazine asks, "Is Truth Dead?"

The story discusses the "Ideal of Truth".

The wise ones at Time, tell us what Truth is, and what it is not.

In this video, I will compare the ultimate truth of the Truth seekers at Time magazine,

with the ultimate truth of an Ethical Individualist.

I read the story because it is based on an interview with President Trump.

I want to understand Trump, but he is difficult to understand because we all know he is certainly

not a typical politician.

Trump is an individual who does not follow traditional norms of thought and behavior.

So I looked up some principles for understanding an individual.

Anyone who wants to understand an individual, must get to know the innermost core of his being

Listen to his way of viewing the world, and observe his actions.

Learn how he defines himself, and how he sees his role in the world.

If you mix in your own judgment, you will never understand him.

I think everyone will agree the most difficult principle, is to not mix in your own judgment.

Projecting your own bias on people, makes it impossible to understand them.

I discovered that the Trump interview was actually a very small part of the story.

I did a word count, and found that 95% of the story was about judging Trump, while 5%

was the Trump interview.

This isn't surprising as today's media narrative is to demonize Trump.

Time tells us their "Ideal of Truth", is "factual correctness".

Fact-checking is considered the keeper of truth.

They accuse Trump of misleading people by making claims that are factually incorrect.

In the story, Time's source for official facts is a congressional committee investigation.

What I was looking for was to understand Trump's "Ideal of Truth", because, almost single-highhandedly,

he defeated the most powerful propagandists in the country.

Anyone who can defeat the Bush and Clinton dynasties, the corporate media, and the money

of billionaires, has something to teach us.

What is Trump's mysterious genius?

We will need to defeat the same people, if we hope to change the unsustainable course

of human life on Earth.

It means something when Trump says:

"Hey, look, I can't be doing so badly, because I'm President, and you're not."

Rather than anyone trying to understand the inner-most core of Trump's being, he is mocked unrelentingly.

One reason Trump was popular enough to be elected president, was his unique individuality.

Social and political conformists, are losing popularity among people wanting a "Culture of Individuality".

In the very first sentence that Rudolf Steiner writes

in The Philosophy Of Freedom, he recognizes this cultural change.

The fundamental characteristic of our age, is the human interest in a culture of individuality.

The changes brought about by a developing culture of individuality, has affected societies

"Ideal of Truth".

Individuals have an increasing need to express their own truth, rather than merely accepting

the truth given to them by an elite group of establishment truth-givers.

What is the "Ideal of Truth" for an individuality?

There are two paths to truth.

Some seek an outer truth in the world, others seek an inner truth deep within their nature.

It is Inner Truth that will today be found most useful.

Outer Truth is produced by our institutions and experts, and crammed into the minds of students

Inner Truth arises from within each individual.

After searching, I did find Trump's "Ideal of Truth" in Time's story.

"I'm a very instinctual person, but my instinct turns out to be right."

Trump relied on his instincts during his rise to power, and ignored the advice of everyone,

from the experts to simple common sense.

He relied on his own Inner Truth.

Of course facts are important, but how reliable are they?

Trump explained that he may predict something that is factually incorrect at the time, but

will be proven correct later.

Or he may say something where the facts are just not yet known.

"Factual correctness" is often wrong.

Our judicial system is often wrong, even though it is based on "factual correctness".

Inner Truth springs from within.

It is intuitive.

It is insightful.

It is the aha moment.

It is creative thinking.

It produces new theories and ideas.

And intuitive thinking can predict what will happen.

While Inner Truth provides new insights, it can be wrong when it is incorrectly applied to the world.

In that case we need to find our mistake, and work to improve it.

An important point is that the objective facts of Outer Truth, ignore the human being.

Inner Truth is deeply connected to the human being

Truth that comes to us from outside always bears the stamp of uncertainty.

Each one of us is only convinced of truth, when he recognizes it within his own heart.

The key to understand Trump's confidence, is Inner Truth.

We know our Inner Truth with absolute certainty, because we produce it.

Whoever is filled with doubt will be weakened.

When we are confused, we are not able to set clear goals,

making us hesitant to act.

This brings us to the Ethical Individualist's "Ideal of Truth".

Ethical Individualism is a philosophy of life so it much more deeply thought out.

The life of an Ethical Individualist is based on Inner Truth.

The most empowering Inner Truth are one's highest Ideals.

Our greatest joy is to realize these ideals in life.

The realization of one's ethical ideals in life, is the highest pleasure.

What it means to be an ethical individualist is to love truth.

Love of Truth empowers the ethical Individualist to Live Truth.

The "Ideal of Truth" is to live your Truth, and let others live their Truth.

All other principles are considered to be less important.

Thanks for listening, and remember to Live and Let Live.

Give me your thoughts below. I really appreciate your comments.

The Chicken or the Egg or the Dinosaur - What Came First - Duration: 5:07.

Ah the age-old argument, what came first

the chicken or the egg? If the egg came

first then what laid it, if the chicken came

first then where'd come from? This

dilemma even puzzled Aristotle who said,

"If there has been a first man he must

have been born without father or mother

which is repugnant to nature, for there

could not have been a first egg to give

a beginning too birds or there should

have been a first bird which gave a

beginning to eggs, for a bird comes from

an egg". Although it seems like scientists

have actually finally answered the

question which took long enough, only

about two and a half thousand years. An

expert panel was formed consisting of a

geneticist, a philosopher and a chicken

farmer. The philosopher on the panel said

I would argue it's a chicken egg if it

has a chicken in it. If a kangaroo laid

an egg from which an ostrich hatched

there would surely be an ostrich egg, not

a kangaroo egg. By this reasoning the

first chicken did indeed come from a

chicken egg even though that egg didn't

come from chickens. But now let's just

say that the egg is a chicken egg. Neil

deGrasse Tyson said on the argument, the

egg was laid by a bird that was not a

chicken. Well it must have been some kind

of chicken right? And now we get into

evolution. If we are looking at this from

an evolutionary perspective the egg came

first as eggs evolved before birds did.

Evolution doesn't happen quickly it's

not one generation to the next it's

thousands and thousands of generations, each

one the tiniest bit different from the

one that came before it. It's widely

believed that birds evolved from

dinosaurs and you can see this yourself

when you look at those skeletons in

museums and those little guys clucking

around. All the non-avian dinosaurs

dinosaurs which were not evolving flight

died out but many dinosaurs were

evolving so the mighty t-rex looked a

little less like this

and a little bit more like this. The

raptor look less like this and more like

this. Actually that makes it look a hell

a lot more scary looking. You see one by

one they developed bipedal locomotion,

then feathers, then a wishbone, then more

complex feathers and then they took off.

Of course all the while this was

happening they were getting smaller and

smaller. So it's widely believed that

dinosaurs look less like those monsters

from Jurassic Park and more like

overgrown chickens although to be fair

they do say that in Jurassic Park that

these are not real dinosaurs.

In fact what some

scientists are tinkering with today is

creating Dino chickens. Scientists

attempting to understand how the beak

evolved have written a paper about how

they could modify chicken beaks to grow

not beaks but Dino snouts. Another group

is attempting to grow a chicken with

dinosaur legs. But what about actually

bringing dinosaurs back to like Jurassic

Park style. Well we know the method they

use in the book and the movie, it

wouldn't work there's no way to extract

the DNA from a mosquito without taking

the mosquito DNA out too, so if you tried

to grow something from it it'd be a

weird Dino mosquito monstrosity ah Jesus

Christ kill it with fire. Famous paleontologist

Jack Horner is actually making it his

life's work to bring dinosaurs back from

the dead. He's basically the inspiration

for Alan Grant from the movie and he

also worked as a consultant on it. Now

he's digging in Hell Creek, Montana where

they found many t-rex fossils. Now they

haven't found any DNA, DNA breaks down

too quickly. DNA has a half-life of about

500 years so we're about...

65 million years too late

but what Jack Horner has found is dino

proteins in blood vessels. So what is he

working on? More dino chickens. Get a

chicken, give it a snout and teeth

instead of a beak, give it a tail, flip

its wings upside down on boom you got a

kind of dinosaur. So really we will never

be able to bring back actual dinosaurs

unless there's like the discovery of the

century pretty soon of like a fully

formed frozen dinosaur in the Antarctic

or something which is probably pretty

unlikely as, you know, 65 million years it's

long enough time. So back to our original

question what came first the chicken or

the egg? It's the egg laid by a dinosaur

that had feathers. Thanks for watching Mike out

My Illness Is Not Your Small Talk [CC] - Duration: 9:10.

Hello, hello!

So, a while back I made a video about seven things I wish people knew about chronic illness

during the holidays and in general.

I'll link it here for you.

I feel the need to reinforce and maybe clarify, um, why this pet peeve behavior is so exhausting.

So, social gatherings are exhausting for me in environments where I'm made to feel like

an outsider; objectified, as though my illness is the only topic I can talk about, as though

I were Google, um, as though people were entitled to explanations about my illness, my mobility,

and my disabilities.

It feels like faux concern when I greet people and they immediately ask me about my health

status when they've never checked in on me before.

And um, I want to be clear, uh, please, PLEASE get this, I don't have a problem with people

checking in on me from time to time; I actually want to encourage that, because that is actually

a tremendous support that I really need.

I need more friends and loved ones reaching out to me on an average day, asking me how

they can be of support, asking me at the beginning of any private message, how I am doing or

if it's a good time before asking a labor of me, because sometimes I could be really

sick, I could be vomiting, I could have vertigo, I could be-- borderline fainting, and people

will still ask me to perform a service and-- without asking me about where I'm at!

So when they neglect even that much and then ONLY use social gatherings to ask me about

my health, that is NOT the right time at all.

At social gatherings I want a simple, "Hey, Annie, what's up?

Glad to see you!" End.

And we can talk about the event or literally anything else, not the illness that I live

and fight with every day.

Before getting sick I didn't feel like I was on an interview tour about the same topic

with every single person I encountered at an event.

Um, I didn't feel like there was a line of people waiting to ask me the same questions

and having to repeat the same answers EVERY SINGLE TIME I WAS AT A SOCIAL GATHERING.

I could enter a space without an awkward silence, without someone judging how hard I was trying

to "get better", or make comments about my levels of mobility, or tell me the best

way to "fix" me, um, aside from fat shaming relatives when I was younger but that oppression

is actually quite similar, the entitlement one feels to "fix" a fat body or a disabled body.

As someone who is an ambulatory wheelchair-user I can do VERY short bursts of walking, anywhere

from a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes maximum, um, either unaided, with braces,

or with my cane depending on the symptoms at the time.

And I'll get comments like, "You're out of that chair!

Congratulations!

You're getting better!"

[BUZZER]

No.

I mean, while technically there will be some days that are better than others symptom-wise,

but no, there really is no "better", as in I'll always have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

And if you made the effort to check in on me every once in awhile or learn a little bit about

my condition, maybe you would know that.

And it's a no-win situation for me at the moment, um, because if I use my wheelchair

I get pitying looks and advice as to how to get out of it.

And if I am out of it-- uh, for small moments at a time, my accommodations are erased, um,

people forget that I'm in pain that I can't stand in a party crowd, and I need a chair

because I "don't look sick" and they'll spend time asking me how I got better, similar

to how they would ask about a weight loss regimen that they wanted to pass on to a friend.

Privilege is a hell of a drug.

And as far as the medical advice that I did not ask for or give consent to receiving,

the clearest I've been able to put it, is "Unsolicited medical advice does not show

me that you care, it shows me your discomfort around me, your discomfort, your need and

desire to have a sense of control in a situation where there really, truly is none."

I think it's human to see people suffering or in pain and want to help, um, I know that

feeling, I know that when I'm in the presence of someone in a pain flare-- I wish with all

my might to get them some form of relief.

And we could go into the topic of is there such thing as true altruism when the help,

or advice, in this case, is more for a sense of self-gratification or self-preservation,

to satisfy one's personal beliefs and philosophies, to guard oneself of fear of the unknown or

unstoppable, than it actually is genuinely helpful to the person in question?

Advice given to me is often extremely oblivious to my condition and what is helpful and what

is harmful; a lot of the advice suggested would actually be quite harmful to me, and

I hear it over and over and over and over again, it'd be aggravating for anyone, I'm sure.

But more than the repetitiveness, the uselessness, and the unfortunate misconceptions about my

illness, I hope that I'm making it clear, it's that, it's the ONLY thing certain

people can think to open up a dialogue with me about.

It'd be like if every time I entered a room I was greeted with, "Hey!

How is being Latina going?

You know, I heard about a new regimen to make you more white passing?"

[BUZZER]

Or "Hey are you still gay?

Really?

Still?

I don't think you're trying hard enough to be straight."

[BUZZER]

There are just so many other things to talk to me about.

Specifically at parties and at social gatherings, I do not want to be your Google and teach

you about my illness; I want to have fun and I wanna be with you and engage with you on a plethora

of topics!

[LEG SLAP]

I'd find it refreshing actually if you brought up smashing the ableist patriarchy rather

than how I can gain back some able-bodied privilege.

So ultimately, um, what I'm trying to say, I guess, is to just consider how you interact

with people, what you say to them and why, the deep root of why, and consider how what

you say will be received, how will it make them feel, and just put yourself in their shoes.

[SIGH]

That's it, I guess.

I'll see you eventually.

Bye.

What If I Have Loose Skin After Losing Weight? - Duration: 2:45.

Hey everybody, and welcome to the video.

So this is Josh here, and today I'm going to be talking about a few things I wish I

could tell myself when I was still obese and just starting on this weight loss journey.

If you're new here, make sure to subscribe, I put out new content every week, and if you

enjoy the video be sure to give it a like, it helps me out a lot.

Alright, so number one.

Just start.

Doing anything right now is going to be better than planning and trying to figure out the

optimal way to lose weight. Learn as you go and just start now.

You'll start seeing progress, you'll start learning how to be better, and it will continue

from there.

But if you plan and plan and plan, that's just another form of procrastination, so just

start now and figure it out along the way.

Alright, so number two.

Quit worrying about the loose skin you might have after losing weight.

Yeah, it's possible you're going to have some loose skin, it's definitely not a big deal.

If my options are be obese or have a little bit of loose skin, 100 out of 100 times I'm

going to be taking my little bit of loose skin.

Alright, so number three.

Quit comparing yourself to other people on social media, or unrealistic goals you set

for yourself in your head.

As long as you know that you've given it everything you've got towards your progress, you've got

no reason to feel guilty and you've got no reason to bad about what you've done.

You're bringing your best foot forward, and you should learn to be more comfortable and

happy in your own skin.

Number four.

You're going to fail so many times, quit dwelling on it.

When you make a mistake or a misstep, or a backslide, or a binge, or anything, pick up

the next day and move forward.

Dwelling on the past, and dwelling on things you can't change isn't going to solve anything.

So just keep pushing forward, and do the best that you can from that point on.

Alright, and the last one.

Stop hiding behind your overweight body, behind your environment, and behind all of these

excuses.

Everyone has things in their life that could hold them back, but it takes courage to move

past those, and move forward.

You know, wishes are easy to make and we all have them, but what's going to set you apart

is the ability to step out of the crowd and put those wishes and dreams and goals to action.

But leave me a comment below, let me know what you would tell yourself from a year ago,

five years ago, before you had started making those changes to be healthier.

But that is going to be it everybody.

Until next time, have a good one.

BREAKING NEWS LDS GENRAL CONFERENCE APOSTLE SAYS ACCEPT GAYS OR ELSE - Duration: 2:51.

breaking trending news A leading Mormon speaker has called for the

religion to become more accepting of diverse sexualities.

Speaking at a biannual Mormon conference in Salt Lake City, Jeffrey Holland spoke to an

audience in person and online about the need to accept LGBT people into the religion.

Holland, who has been a long-standing member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said

that there was room in the faith to accept people who may have different sexual

attractions, as long as they love God and honour his commandments.

He said: When we disparage our uniqueness or try to conform to fictitious stereotypes

stereotypes driven by an insatiable consumer culture and idealised beyond any possible

realisation by social media we lose the richness of tone and timbre that God intended when

he created a world of diversity.

Dale Relund, a newer member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, said that being intolerant

would be repeating the past.

We must not be guilty of persecuting anyone inside or outside the church, Renlund said.

Church history gives ample evidence of our members being treated with hatred and

bigotry.

How ironically sad it would be if we were to treat others as we have been treated.

The Mormon church has a long history of persecuting the LGBT community with its strong belief

that homosexuality is sinful.

Keep in mind this is just one leader, and not the general population of mormons.

And this was just one speech.

Bebidas isotónicas ¿buenas o malas? - Duration: 3:56.

Hi I'm Raquel Domínguez

www.operacionbikini.es and today I'm here to

talk about something, isotonic drinks are

good or they are not.

Eva few weeks ago asked me to

recommend an isotonic drink

because he was going to start exercising And

which I recommended? First of all

It is clear that being well hydrated is

fundamental.

We can not forget that most of

our body is water. In fact we are waters

65% and the liquid helps ingest

to maintain the pH of the body and

get rid of toxins. while we

exercise lose fluids through

sweat, and many believe that drinks

Isotonic are perfect to replenish

these liquids, so they have become so

Fashion. But overall,

I would say the best drink isotonic

is water. And why I think that the best

isotonic drink is water, I think

to make isotonic drink

rehydrate is no better than drinking water,

especially if we have not made an effort

long, and I have come to this conclusion

because in my research I have not

found no study showing

Isotonic drinks really

improve performance and

Recovery. Well, what drinks they are

Isotonic? as summarizing a lot,

isotonic drinks are water with low doses

sodium,

usually as sodium chloride or

sodium bicarbonate, sugar or glucose and

the many occasions also wear

potassium and other minerals. In principle

mineral salts provided by these

drinks help us to better absorb water

and slow-release carbohydrates,

that give us long-term energy, but

Do we really need them?

Tim Noake, University professor

Cape Town, in South Africa,

Isotonic drinks are a pump

sugar, which may be useful for

professional athletes but usually

they are not for amateurs.

Well, if you're a fan but you run

marathons to you if you'll come in handy,

but go to the gym and do a

exercise time not too high

intensity, then no, not you'll come in handy.

Isotonic drinks have become

in true fashion, not

precisely among athletes, many

People have made these drinks

substitutes for soda, because

we tend to think they are healthier,

but we should not abuse them on

especially if we are not athletes. Drink

isotonic drinks frequently,

as if they were soft drinks or water, you will

give your body an extra

minerals your body does not need and that

you may end up taking its toll. Between the

consequences of replacing such

usual drink the water

Isotonic can be found

kidney problems, cardiac arrhythmias or

edemas by the accumulation of

liquids.

Did you know that besides sports drinks

They have placebo effect? For me, a little gathering

I found information with

study that called me greatly the

attention, demonstrating the effect

placebo with these drinks. For

carry out this study used a

a group of cyclists, these cyclists were

They got water but claimed it was not

water which was an isotonic drink, you know that

occurred? for cyclists by believing

drinking water were not, they were

drinking something else,

performance increased by 2%

than when only knew

They were drinking water, Curious right ?. Y

What is my conclusion about all this?

Well, if you're going to make a physical effort

intense and prolonged, more

an hour, drinks

Isotonic they can help you, but

If you go to practice a sport

normal,

Water is the best choice and

Of course if you do not exercise or

You should ask whether or not to take a drink

isotonic drinks water. I hope that my

video you liked and also want

take advantage to greet Sara Ortega,

Estrella Martín and Marta Pérez.

I hope my featured video you liked,

If you liked and Share

and I'm hoping in the next video.

Bye bye

Authortube Newbie Tag | by Mysteries of Writing - Duration: 5:08.

Hello hello It's time for a tag that I wasn't tagged

in but I felt like doing it anyway So you can stay tuned for some never revealed

before insight into this channel and some authortuby facts of mine because it's the

AuthorTube newbie tag originally done by Jenna the Dark One and recreated by a whole bunch

of other authors including myself anyways lets get to it

Number 1 How did you find out about AuthorTube?

Well I'd already started my youtube channel and I knew there were other author youtubers

but I didn't know that it was actually a thing to call it AuthorTube so I basically

only found out about that when I heard about this tag and that was pretty cool

Number 2 What genres do you write in?

Fantasy and whatever a personified view on things would be classified as

Number 3 What is your preferred writing tense, point of view and category?

I like writing in present tense or past tense, I like first person and third person and I

prefer writing for young adults though I could see myself writing for little children one

day maybe but not yet Number 4 Are you a plotter, a pantser or a

plantser?

I have to say I'm a plotter I've already explained this in one of my videos which I

will link to so that you can hear my full description but basically I like plotting

and I need that comfort from a plot Number 5 Are you self-published, published

or yet to be published?

And that's easy I'm a yet to be published author

Number 6 So I'm going to have to read this one because it's very long!

What publishing company, literary agent or printing company are you represented by or

use?

If you're not yet published what is your dream publishing house and or literary agent?

I see myself as being self-published one day but I might take the traditional publishing

route I haven't really checked out any publishing houses yet though I probably should get to

doing that because if I change my mind one day it could be important

Number 7 What authortube related videos can we expect to find in your channel?

Well I have a whole list of things as you can see hehe

but just so you know you can expect to find writing

tips, a crazy being that calls herself a human, a teddy by the name of Rose who joins us for

some deep meaningful conversations based on writerly things yeah no not the not the tearful

kind but the cheerful kind okay guys, some progress videos, some goals, more tags and

some bookish things and basically all the things I haven't mentioned yet

Number 8 When did you start writing?

I started writing round about when I was in grade 4 and we had to write this creative

writing story type thing and I wrote something really weird I know there were a bunch of

creatures It basically came from The Spiderwicks Chronicles cause I was really obsessed with

it so I wrote that kind of stuff it's basically a fanfiction that was never published online

and thank goodness for that!

Number 9 What was the first story you ever wrote?

So I've mentioned this in another one of my videos as well but the first story I actually

completed was a holiday story that I wrote in grade 5 for my English teacher and it was really

bad it had something to do with clouds being a form of transport and animals could talk

and people lived in clouds I don't really know what the whole story was about anymore

so it just goes to show how bad it was and I never want anyone to read it so we'll

move on from that.

Number 10 What authors have inspired you the most?

Apart from J.K Rowling I'd say Becca Fitzpatrick I really love how she's written the Hush,

Hush series and it motivates me to write Number 11 I've run out of fingers sorry

guys Do you schedule your writing sessions or do you just get to it whenever you can?

So ideally I would love to schedule my writing sessions but you know life happens and then

it just turns into a whenever I get to it kind of schedule but I do try write

more than once a week so that's a good thing and with Camp NaNoWriMo and my off the grid

schedule it's a little bit motivating to carry on

Number 12 Do you type on a computer, write it up by hand, or use a typewriter or use

a blend of those?

So basically I use a blend of those so when I have my ideas I'll write them out on a

piece of paper and when it comes to actually writing it out and doing my outline it happens

on the computer Number 13 What are you looking forward to

the most about authortube?

So I'm looking forward to the constant motivation it brings and the joy of making each video

because it's really fun and I know a lot of people have mentioned this as well but

I'm really looking forward to the community because it really seems like a fun thing to

be a part of so yeah And that's it for the tag if you enjoyed

this video please give it a like, share it with your friends and be sure to subscribe

oh and don't forget to check out Jenna The Dark One's original video.

What is FUTURES? For HEDGING or SPECULATING? - Duration: 2:48.

People usually think that futures market is very speculative

but it is not necessary the case

Futures contract is in fact a contract for producers

and suppliers to minimise the fluctuations in price

which we call hedging

for instance beer factories rely on the wheat suppliers

to fulfil their need in raw materials

let's say Froggie Beers is a beer producer

and Jack is a farmer to supply the wheat

the original price of the wheat is $10 but then

drops to $5 due to excessive supply in the market

Froggie Beers benefits in this case as the producing

cost drops but Jack suffers a profit decline

on the other hand

if the supply of wheat drops due to the extreme weather

the price will rise Jack will benefit

and Froggie Beers will suffer instead

because of the fluctuations in the markets

many companies suffer from unpredictable changes

in profits and losses

In order to minimise this risk

futures contracts are derived in the market

both parties will construct a contract

with investors agreed to buy or sell the underlying asset

at a specified price in future transactions

back to our case

Jack should construct a contract with investors

who agreed to buy the wheat from Jack for $10

even the market price of wheat drops to $5

investors still need to buy the wheat

at the price of $10 from Jack

which enabled Jack to lock up his profit

on the contrary

when the market price of wheat is higher than $10

the investors would be profited from it

how about Froggie Beers

the beer producers can also construct a futures contract

to lock up their cost of the wheat at $5

to hedge and reduce the risk of the price fluctuations

as a result the risk and return in the market

have now been transferred from Froggie beers and Jack

to the investors

however nowadays people do not often trade and settle

commodities physically

instead the Exchanges act as intermediate

to facilitate the trades

there are different kinds of futures derivatives

in the market as well

such as indices metals energies or even temperature

today unfortunately

the purpose of trading futures contracts lie

heavily on speculation rather than on hedging

Push Connect Notify Review - Real Product Or Another Scam? - Duration: 2:54.

- Hey guys, what's going on?

This is Josh Elder from completeimreviews.com

and you're at this video because you're looking

for a complete non-biased review

on Push Connect Notify by Jimmy Kim.

Now this product is set to release

on April 11, 2017.

If I believe that this product is noteworthy,

if I believe it's a good valuable product,

then what I'll do is I will post up a link

of the review in the description.

Having said that, I've been reviewing

internet marketing products just like these

for the past four years online.

And what I've noticed with about 99% of these products

is that the rehash garbage,

they re-release the same products

with a different sales presentation and a different name.

What I want to do is I want to save you from those products.

What I will do is, I will review actual products

that have tangible value that can help you.

That way you're not wasting your time

going yet through another review

of just another product that's just complete trash.

I really want to help you make an informed decision.

So that's why I actually do my reviews

in a way that's not wasting your time,

it's not wasting my time, and that way,

you're getting the value that you need

so you can move forward in your business

and really shortcut your success.

So that's why in the description, if you check it out,

obviously if you're watching this video,

this product has been released,

you'll be able to check out the complete review

in the description if I do find this product as noteworthy.

I do know Jimmy Kim, he usually provides

a lot of value within his courses and training

and within his products.

I know this specific product will be a valuable product

just by looking at the JV page.

But I'll definitely be sure to go through it

for you guys.

In the meantime, I've included an extra link

in the description if this product hasn't been released,

happen to be here early, or even if you are here

and it's April 11th or later.

I've included an extra link in the description

so you can get access to 100% free training.

It reveals everything step-by-step, okay, everything

on how I built a multiple six figure yearly business

using and leveraging 100% free traffic from YouTube.

I'll give that to you as a gift.

As you can see, I'm not gonna have

any affiliate links or anything in the description below,

just pure value.

I find that way too many people

are doing the bait and switch method,

which they get people to watch a video

and they get them over to their product

and try and get them to buy their product.

I'm not doing that here, I'm actually gonna give you

some real value, believe it or not.

How refreshing, right?

This is Josh Elder from completeimreviews.com.
