This list features Xiaomi Mi Mix 2:

The first smartphone on this list is the special edition of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, which was

announced last week, making it one of the newest phones with 8GB RAM. Aside from 8 GB

of RAM, the handset also stands out of the crowd thanks to its extremely thin bezels

that are gaining popularity on the market.

It features a ceramic body and has an 18K gold coating around the camera and fingerprint

sensor. It comes with high-end specs including the Snapdragon 835 chipset, a 12 MP camera

with phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 5.99-inch

2160 x 1080 (FHD+) display.

It�s not perfect � no smartphone is � as it doesn�t have a headphone jack, isn�t

resistant to water, and has a weirdly positioned secondary camera. You�ll find it in the

bottom bezel, as there�s just not enough room on top. It will likely go on sale in

October, but only in China where it will retail for RMB 4,699 or around $715.

Oneplus 5:

The OnePlus 5 might be the company�s most expensive smartphone to date, but it still

offers a great bang for the buck. Announced back in June, the high-end version of the

flagship was one of the very first phones with 8GB RAM. It also offers 128GB storage,

though that�s obviously a lot more common.

Unlike most Chinese smartphones, it offers a very light skin on top of Android called

OxygenOS. It doesn�t change the look and feel of Google�s operating system much but

does add a few unique features and customization options that make it stand out from the crowd.

In addition to a lot of RAM, the device also features a dual-camera setup on the back and

sports a metal body that�s quite easy on the eyes. Let�s not forget to mention Dash

Charge, which gets the battery up to 100 percent in around 90 minutes. The OnePlus 5 comes

in Slate Gray and can be yours for $539.

ASUS Zenfone VR:

The ZenFone AR was unveiled back at CES 2017 as the first phone with 8 GB of RAM. In addition

to a lot of RAM, what makes this device interesting is that it supports Tango (aka Arcore), Google�s

augmented reality (AR) platform. It�s equipped with a 23 MP primary shooter on the back along

with sensors for motion tracking and a depth-sensing camera, all of which are required to run Tango

applications.

The smartphone is also Daydream-ready, so it�s a great choice for those who want to

immerse themselves into the world of VR and AR. It comes with a large 5.7-inch display

with QHD resolution and is powered by the Snapdragon 821 chipset.

ZTE Nubia Z17:

ZTE might be better known for budget and mid-range phones in the US, but they have several higher

end options, including one of the very first phones with 8GB RAM. In addition to 8 GB of

RAM, the Nubia Z17 also comes with the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset and a great design.

It has minimal bezels on the sides and sports a beautiful red circular capacitive home button

we�ve already seen on a number of Nubia devices so far.

The smartphone has a dual-camera setup, allowing you to capture those bokeh images that are

all the rage these days, and is splash-resistant. It sports Dolby Atmos-enhanced speakers for

a better audio experience but doesn�t have a headphone jack. It also doesn�t support

expandable storage but the highest end variant does come with 128 GB of space, which should

be enough for most people.

The Nubia Z17 isn�t on sale in the US, but you can still get it via various Chinese retailers

such as GeekBuying. The 128 GB model can be yours for around $560, while the 64 GB version

will set you back $535.

In a rare statement on North Korea's state media, the despot personally responded to threats the US President made at the UN summit on Tuesday.

In front of world leaders, mocked Kim, calling him a "rocket man on a suicide mission", as well as threatening to "totally destroy North Korea".

Kim described Mr Trump's speech as "the most ferocious declaration of a war in history" and promised to deliver the "highest level of hard-line countermeasures in history." Never one let his opponents have the last word, Mr Trump tweeted: "Kim Jong Un of North Korea, who is obviously a madman who doesnt mind starving or killing his people, will be tested like never before!" After a string of missile tests in the Pacific, including launches last month that passed directly over Japan, fears are mounting that Hawaii could be vulnerable to a North Korean attack.

Could North Korea bomb Hawaii? tested an intercontinental ballistic missile in July that the west believe has the capability of hitting major US cities.

  The missile flew for about 45 minutes, reaching an altitude of 2,300 mile and a distance of 621 miles.

  However, it is thought that the rocket could reach cities such as Los Angeles and Chicago, if launched on a flatter trajectory. North Korea detonated it sixth H-bomb in July, the reclusive nation's most powerful nuclear test to date.

Hawaii became the first US state to begin preparations for nuclear war, after North Korea threatened to launch four missiles near Guam last month.

Kim decided not to fire at Guam, claiming he would wait for the "foolish Yankees" to make their next move.  Hawaiian officials are now encouraging locals to plan for a strike in the same way they would plan for a hurricane or any other natural disaster.  Speaking to the Washington Post, Hawaii state representative Gene Ward said: "Now its time to take it seriously.

Not to be an alarmist, but to be informing people". Vern Miyagi, of Hawaii's Emergency Management Agency, predicted that Hawaii's residents will only have 15 minutes to seek shelter once Pyongyang fire a rocket.

He said: Pacific Command would take about five minutes to characterise a launch, where the missile is going, which means the population would have about 15 minutes to take shelter. Its not much time at all.

But it is enough time to give yourself a chance to survive. North Korea have tested a number of ballistic missiles over the past few years and some western experts fear that they have the range to strike both Hawaii and Alaska.  How far is North Korea from Hawaii? The cluster of Pacific islands that make up Hawaii sit about 4,660 miles away from North Korea.

MY OPENING SCRIPTURE CAN BE FOUND IN

GENESIS, CHAPTER 2, VERSE 7,

"AND THE LORD GOD FORMED MAN OF THE DUST OF THE GROUND,

AND BREATHED INTO HIS NOSTRILS THE BREATH OF LIFE;

AND MAN BECAME A LIVING SOUL."

HUMAN BEINGS HAVE THE MOST VALUABLE POSSESSION

OF ANY CREATURE ON EARTH, A LIVING SOUL.

WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM ALL OTHER CREATURES OF THIS WORLD

BECAUSE GOD BREATHED IN US A PART OF HIM,

A LIVING SOUL THAT WILL NEVER DIE,

BUT WILL EXIST FOREVER.

THE QUESTION IS, WHERE WILL YOUR SOUL GO

FOR ETERNITY WHEN YOU DIE?

WE ALL KNOW THAT WHEN GOD CREATED ADAM AND EVE,

THAT THEY HAD EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED.

THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY SICKNESS

OR PAIN IN THEIR BODY.

LIFE WAS GOOD FOR THEM, BUT WHEN THEY CHOSE TO SIN;

AND NOTICE THAT I SAID, "WHEN THEY CHOSE TO

SIN AGAINST GOD," THEY LOST IT ALL!

GOD CREATED MAN AND WOMAN WITH THE ABILITY AND FREEDOM

TO MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS,

AND THEY WERE FREE MORAL AGENTS.

THEY HAD THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE,

JUST LIKE WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE TODAY;

BUT UNFORTUNATELY, THEY MADE THE WRONG DECISION

AND THEY LOST AT ALL!

NOW THEIR BODIES ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO SIN

AND DISEASES AND PAIN

BECAUSE THEY GAVE THE DEVIL POWER TO AFFLICT THEM

WHEN THEY WILLINGLY STEPPED OUTSIDE

OF GOD'S PROTECTION THROUGH DISOBEDIENCE.

NO DOUBT, IF ADAM AND EVE HAD OBEYED GOD,

THE DEVIL WOULD HAVE BEEN DESTROYED

THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO.

HE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO AFFLICT PEOPLE,

HE WOULD HAVE BEEN THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE WITH

ALL THE FALLEN ANGELS.

THIS EARTH WOULD BE PARADISE RIGHT NOW.

BECAUSE OF ADAM AND EVE'S SIN,

MILLIONS OF PEOPLE HAVE DIED AND GONE TO HELL.

DOWN THROUGH THE YEARS, MULTITUDES OF PEOPLE

HAVE SUFFERED FROM SICKNESSES AND DISEASES

THAT SHOULD'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO TOUCH US.

IT'S NOT GOD'S FAULT

THAT THIS WORLD IS IN THE CONDITION THAT IT'S IN;

IT'S MAN AND THE DEVIL'S FAULT.

IT STARTED WITH LUCIFER IN HEAVEN WHEN HE DESIRED

TO BE ABOVE GOD AND TO RULE OVER THE ANGELS.

HIS DISOBEDIENCE AND REVOLT AGAINST GOD

CAUSED A THIRD OF THE ANGELS

AND HIMSELF TO BE CAST OUT OF HEAVEN.

NOW IT'S THE DEVIL'S MISSION TO TURN

AS MANY SOULS AS HE CAN TO DARKNESS.

THE DEVIL WANTS EACH ONE OF US TO FAIL-

THAT'S HIS MISSION.

IN FACT, THE BIBLE SAYS IN ISAIAH, CHAPTER 5, VERSE 14,

"THEREFORE HELL HATH ENLARGED HERSELF,

AND OPENED HER MOUTH WITHOUT MEASURE:

AND THEIR GLORY, AND THEIR MULTITUDE, AND THEIR POMP,

AND HE THAT REJOICETH, SHALL DESCEND INTO IT."

JUST THINK, EVERY DAY A SOUL IS DROPPING INTO HELL

FOR ALL TIME AND ETERNITY

BECAUSE THE DEVIL HAS DECEIVED THEM WITH HIS LIES.

THIS WAS NEVER GOD'S INTENTION

WHEN HE CREATED MAN AND WOMAN,

BUT UNFORTUNATELY, WRONG CHOICES HAVE BEEN MADE

AND NOW WE ARE SUFFERING FROM IT.

OVER THE YEARS,

MANY GODLY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AFFLICTED BY THE DEVIL,

EVEN INNOCENT CHILDREN HAVE BEEN AFFLICTED BY THE DEVIL.

THE BIBLE LETS US KNOW IN JAMES, CHAPTER 1, VERSE 17,

"EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT IS FROM ABOVE,

AND COMETH DOWN FROM THE FATHER OF LIGHTS."

WE KNOW THAT SICKNESS AND DISEASE

IS NOT GOOD AND PERFECT GIFTS,

SO THEY DIDN'T COME FROM GOD.

THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE WE FIND EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE

LISTENING TO GOD

AND NOT THE DEVIL SO THAT GOD CAN USE THEM.

WE READ ABOUT PEOPLE BEING HEALED THROUGH THE POWER OF GOD

IN THE OLD TESTAMENT AND IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.

IT DIDN'T MATTER WHAT SICKNESS OR DISEASE

WAS IN THEIR BODY,

IT DIDN'T MATTER EVEN IF THEY WERE ALREADY DEAD;

GOD STILL DELIVERED THEM!

SO, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT SICKNESS OR DISEASE

IS IN YOUR BODY.

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THE DOCTORS TOLD YOU THAT

THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO FOR YOU!

GOD MADE YOU, HE CAN HEAL YOU.

IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW CLOSE YOU ARE TO DEATH,

THERE ARE MANY EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE THAT

WERE RAISED FROM THE DEAD!

SO, DON'T LET THE DEVIL TALK YOU OUT OF YOUR DELIVERANCE.

IN FIRST KINGS, CHAPTER 17,

IT TELLS ABOUT A PROPHET NAMED ELIJAH

WHO LISTENED TO GOD AND DELIVERED A MESSAGE TO KING AHAB

THAT "THERE SHALL NOT BE DEW NOR RAIN THESE YEARS."

MEANING EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO DRY UP,

AND THERE WOULD BE FAMINE IN THE LAND.

THEN GOD GAVE ELIJAH DIRECTIONS TO GO EASTWARD

AND HIDE HIMSELF BY A CERTAIN BROOK,

AND THAT GOD WOULD COMMAND RAVENS TO FEED HIM THERE.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASY FOR ELIJAH TO LISTEN

TO THE DEVIL TRYING TO PLANT HIS SEEDS OF DOUBT,

THAT "WHEN HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A RAVEN BRING ANYONE FOOD?"

BUT THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!

RAVENS BROUGHT ELIJAH BREAD AND MEAT

IN THE MORNING AND IN THE EVENING.

WHEN THE BROOK DRIED UP, GOD TOLD ELIJAH

TO GO TO ZAREPHATH,

THAT THERE WAS A WIDOW WOMAN THERE THAT WOULD SUSTAIN HIM,

MEANING THAT SHE WAS GOING TO PROVIDE FOR HIM.

SO, AS ELIJAH GETS TO THE CITY GATES,

THERE WAS A WIDOW WOMAN OUTSIDE GATHERING STICKS.

HE ASKED HER FOR A LITTLE WATER,

AND A LITTLE PIECE OF BREAD.

SHE DIDN'T HAVE ANY BREAD,

SHE JUST HAD A HANDFUL OF MEAL IN A BARREL,

THAT'S WHY SHE WAS OUTSIDE LOOKING FOR TWO STICKS

TO BAKE A LITTLE CAKE FOR HER AND HER SON,

THAT THEY MAY EAT IT AND THEN DIE.

IF YOU WERE IN ELIJAH'S POSITION,

WOULD YOU HAVE LISTENED TO THE DEVIL'S THOUGHTS

THINKING THAT YOU HAVE THE WRONG WIDOW WOMAN?

HOW IS SHE GOING TO FEED YOU

IF THAT IS ALL THE FOOD THAT SHE HAS?

BESIDES, SHE'S PLANNING ON DYING!

ELIJAH DOESN'T LISTEN TO THE DEVIL,

HE LISTENS TO GOD.

HE KNEW WHERE HIS DELIVERANCE

WAS GOING TO COME FROM.

ELIJAH TALKS FAITH TO HER AND SAYS,

"FEAR NOT; GO AND BAKE ME A LITTLE CAKE FIRST,

AND THEN MAKE ONE FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR SON."

THIS WOMAN WAS WILLING TO PUT THE MAN OF GOD FIRST

AHEAD OF HERSELF AND AHEAD OF HER SON,

AND BECAUSE OF THAT,

THE BARREL OF MEAL DID NOT GO EMPTY

AND THE OIL DID NOT FAIL;

THAT IS THE POWER OF GOD IN ACTION.

EACH MIRACLE THAT YOU WITNESS

CAN HELP INCREASE YOUR FAITH.

LATER, TRAGEDY STRIKES.

HER SON BECAME SICK, AND HIS SICKNESS WAS SO BAD

THAT HE ENDED UP DYING.

WELL, IN FIRST KINGS, CHAPTER 17, VERSE 18,

"AND SHE SAID UNTO ELIJAH,

WHAT HAVE I TO DO WITH THEE,

O MAN OF GOD?

ART THOU COME UNTO ME TO CALL MY SIN TO REMEM-REMEMBRANCE,

AND TO SLAY MY SON?"

THIS WOMAN HAD- THIS WOMAN'S SON

HAD JUST TAKEN HIS LAST BREATH.

SHE WAS PUTTING GOD FIRST IN HER LIFE,

SO, WE KNOW THAT GOD

IS NOT GOING TO HOLD HER PAST SINS AGAINST HER,

AND ELIJAH WAS GOING TO PROVE IT.

ELIJAH TOOK HIS LIFELESS BODY OUT OF HIS MOTHER'S ARMS

AND CARRIED HIM UP TO THE LOFT WHERE HE STAYED

AND LAID HIM ON HIS BED.

"AND HE STRETCHED HIMSELF OVER THE CHILD THREE TIMES,

AND CRIED UNTO THE LORD, AND SAID, LORD MY GOD,

I PRAY THEE," LET THIS CHILD COME-

"LET THIS CHILD'S SOUL COME INTO HIM AGAIN."

GOD HEARD THAT PRAYER,

"AND THE SOUL OF THE CHILD CAME INTO HIM AGAIN."

IF THE POWER OF GOD CAN RAISE A CHILD FROM THE DEAD,

THEN THE POWER OF GOD CAN HEAL YOU FROM

ANY SICKNESS OR DISEASE THAT IS IN YOUR BODY.

EXODUS, CHAPTER 15, VERSE 26,

"I AM THE LORD THAT HEALETH THEE."

IN SECOND KINGS, CHAPTER 4,

IT TELLS US HOW THE PROPHET ELISHA BECOMES FRIENDS

WITH A SHUNAMMITE WOMAN AND HER HUSBAND.

SO, WHEN ELISHA IS IN THE AREA,

HE WOULD STOP BY AND THEY WOULD FEED HIM,

AND THEY ENDED UP MAKING A ROOM FOR HIM

AT THEIR HOUSE.

ELISHA WOULD REPAY THE CHILDLESS COUPLE

BY PROMISING THEM A SON.

LATER, TRAGEDY STRIKES.

THE CHILD HAS PAIN IN HIS HEAD,

AND HE GOES TO HIS FATHER

WHO WAS IN THE FIELD AND SAYS,

"MY HEAD, MY HEAD!"

AND THE FATHER HAS SOMEONE CARRY

THE CHILD TO HIS MOTHER.

THE CHILD SITS IN HIS MOTHER'S ARMS,

AND WHILE SHE IS HOLDING THE CHILD IN HER ARMS,

HE DIES.

SHE TAKES THE CHILD AND LAYS HIM ON THE BED OF ELISHA

AND SHUTS THE DOOR BEHIND HER

SO THAT NO ONE KNOWS THAT HE HAD DIED.

SHE BELIEVES THAT THE MAN OF GOD IS GOING TO HEAL HER CHILD;

SO, SHE DOESN'T WANT ANYONE TO HINDER HER IN ANY WAY,

NOT EVEN HER HUSBAND!

THEN SHE CALLS HER HUSBAND

AND TELLS HIM TO SEND ONE OF THE YOUNG MEN

AND A DONKEY SO THAT SHE CAN GO TO THE MAN OF GOD.

SHE DOESN'T TELL HER HUSBAND THAT THE CHILD IS DEAD,

NO, SHE BELIEVES EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE WELL.

SHE FINDS ELISHA AND SHE TELLS HIM

THAT THE CHILD IS NOT AWAKE;

IN OTHER WORDS, THAT THE CHILD IS DEAD.

WHEN ELISHA GETS TO THE HOUSE,

HE PRAYS AND LAYS ON THE DEAD CHILD,

AND THE CHILD COMES TO LIFE!

WHEN TRAGEDY STRIKES, ALWAYS REMEMBER

THAT GOD MADE YOU, HE CAN HEAL YOU.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF GOD.

IN SECOND KINGS, CHAPTER 13, VERSE 20,

IT TELLS US THAT ELISHA DIES AND IS BURIED.

WELL, LATER ON THE MOABITES WERE INVADING THE LAND.

SO, IT WAS A DANGEROUS TIME AND-

AND THERE WAS A GROUP OF MEN THAT WAS BURYING A MAN,

AND IN THE PROCESS,

THEY SAW A GROUP OF MOABITES COMING THEIR WAY,

SO THEY WERE IN A HURRY,

AND THEY PUT THE DEAD MAN'S BODY

IN THE SEPULCHER OF ELISHA.

AND WHEN THE DEAD BODY OF A MAN TOUCHED THE BONES OF ELISHA,

THE POWER OF GOD IN THE BONES REVIVED THE DEAD MAN

AND HE STOOD TO HIS FEET.

THAT'S WHAT THE POWER OF GOD CAN DO.

GOD MADE YOU, HE CAN HEAL YOU.

THREE DIFFERENT TIMES JESUS RAISED

SOMEONE FROM THE DEAD.

THE FIRST TIME WAS IN LUKE, CHAPTER 7,

WHEN JESUS AND HIS DISCIPLES WERE AT THE CITY GATE OF NAIN.

THERE WAS A FUNERAL PROCESSION OF A YOUNG MAN

TAKING PLACE.

THE MOTHER OF THIS YOUNG MAN HAS ALREADY LOST

HER HUSBAND TO DEATH,

AND SHE IS NOW BURYING HER ONLY SON.

GOD'S TIMING IS PERFECT FOR JESUS TO MEET THE PROCESSION,

AND WHEN JESUS SAW THE MOTHER,

HE HAD COMPASSION ON HER.

HE TOLD HER NOT TO WEEP,

AND HE TOUCHED THE SIDE OF THE COFFIN,

"AND HE SAID, YOUNG MAN, I SAY UNTO THEE, ARISE."

THE YOUNG MAN SAT UP AND HE BEGAN TO SPEAK,

AND JESUS WAS ABLE TO DELIVER HIM TO HIS MOTHER.

THE PEOPLE THAT WERE THERE GLORIFIED GOD.

THE SECOND TIME WAS NOT LONG AFTER THAT.

IN THE 8TH CHAPTER OF LUKE,

JESUS IS APPROACHED BY JAIRUS, A RULER OF A SYNAGOGUE.

HE FALLS AT JESUS' FEET

AND ASKS HIM TO COME TO HIS HOUSE

BECAUSE HIS ONLY DAUGHTER,

WHO WAS AT AGE 12, IS DYING.

BEFORE THEY MAKE IT TO THE HOUSE,

SOMEONE FROM HIS SYNAGOGUE MEETS THEM

AND TELLS JAIRUS THAT HIS DAUGHTER IS DEAD,

"TROUBLE NOT THE MASTER."

WHEN JESUS HEARD WHAT WAS SAID,

JESUS SAID TO JAIRUS, "FEAR NOT: ONLY BELIEVE,

AND SHE SHALL BE MADE WHOLE."

THIS IS A GREAT LESSON TO ALWAYS TALK FAITH,

ESPECIALLY AROUND THOSE WHO HAVE A LOVED ONE

IN NEED OF A MIRACLE.

WHEN JESUS ENTERED THE HOUSE,

HE HAD PETER, JAMES AND JOHN COME ALONG

WITH JAIRUS AND HIS WIFE;

ALL NON- NONBELIEVERS HE MOVED OUT OF THE HOUSE.

JESUS CALLED ON THE POWER OF GOD

AND SAID, "MAID, ARISE."

HER SPIRIT CAME INTO HER AND SHE AROSE.

HER PARENTS WERE ASTONISHED!

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THERE IS A DEATH DISEASE IN YOUR BODY;

GOD MADE YOU, HE CAN HEAL YOU.

THE THIRD TIME WAS IN JOHN'S GOSPEL, CHAPTER 11;

TELLS US HOW JESUS RECEIVED WORD

THAT LAZARUS IS SICK.

JESUS RESPONDS TO THE NEWS BY SAYING,

"THIS SICKNESS IS NOT UNTO DEATH,

BUT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD,

THAT THE SON OF GOD MIGHT BE GLORIFIED THEREBY."

MOST PEOPLE DO NOT LOOK AT SICKNESS AS AN OPPORTUNITY

TO HAVE A GREAT TESTIMONY WHEN GOD HEALS THEM

FROM THAT SICKNESS.

BUT IF YOU HAVE THE MINDSET

THAT GOD IS GOING TO BRING YOU OUT,

AND HE IS GOING TO GET THE GLORY,

THEN YOUR FAITH SHOULD NEVER WAVER.

WHEN JESUS FINALLY MADE IT TO BETHANY,

LAZARUS WAS ALREADY DEAD FOUR DAYS.

JESUS KNEW THAT A GREAT MIRACLE WAS GOING TO TAKE PLACE,

SO HE ASKED WHERE DID THEY LAY LAZARUS?

THEY TOOK JESUS TO A CAVE WHERE A LARGE STONE

COVERED THE ENTRANCE, AND LAZARUS WAS INSIDE.

JESUS TELLS THEM TO TAKE AWAY THE STONE.

LAZARUS' SISTER, MARTHA, SAID,

"LORD, BY THIS TIME HE STINKETH:

JESUS GIVES US A WONDER- A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE ON

HOW TO PRAY TO THE FATHER.

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT MANY OF THE PEOPLE THAT SAW

WHAT JESUS DID BELIEVED ON HIM,

BUT SOME WENT AWAY TO THE PHARISEES

AND TOLD THEM WHAT THINGS JESUS HAD DONE.

AND IN JOHN, CHAPTER 11, VERSE 53,

"THEN FROM THAT DAY FORTH THEY TOOK COUNSEL TOGETHER

TO PUT HIM TO DEATH."

IT'S SAD THE WAY SOME PEOPLE

RESPOND TO GOD'S MIRACLE POWER.

IN THE 9TH CHAPTER OF ACTS,

IT TELLS US ABOUT A LADY WHO LIVED IN JOPPA NAMED DORCAS,

WHO WAS FULL OF GOOD WORKS OF THE LORD

AND HELPING THE POOR

BY MAKING COATS AND GARMENTS FOR THEM;

BUT DORCAS BECAME SICK AND DIED.

SO, THEY PREPARED HER BODY

AND LAID HER IN AN UPPER CHAMBER.

THE DISCIPLES HEARD THAT PETER WAS NEARBY,

SO TWO OF THEM WENT TO GET PETER.

PETER CAME IMMEDIATELY, AND HE WENT TO THE UPPER CHAMBER

WHERE ALL THE WIDOWS WERE AND DORCAS WAS,

AND PETER PUT OUT THE WIDOWS

AND KNEELED DOWN AND PRAYED

AND TOLD DORCAS TO ARISE AND OPEN HER EYES!

AND WHEN SHE SAW PETER, SHE SAT UP,

Hindu Priest Explains How Your Subconscious Mind Can be Reprogrammed - Duration: 4:41.

The subconscious mind is akin to that unseen portion of an iceberg which remains underwater.

Some believe that up to 95% of our mental activity takes place in the subconscious,

just below our conscious awareness.

This 'underwater' portion of the mind is never inactive, though, as it continues

to collect and process information even when we are asleep.

According to the Freudian model of the unconscious, the contents of the subregions of the mind

are the primary guiding influence on a person's behavior, habits and urges.

And in his study of the psyche, revered psychoanalyst Carl Jung relates the importance of paying

attention to what is going on in the lower parts of the mind, saying, "until you make

the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate."

While this model may be debatable to some scientists, sages and those devoted to personal

development have long known that these regions of the mind are programmable with conscious

intention, a process which can be achieved with affirmation and mantra.

As a spiritual tool, monks of the eastern traditions have been using mantras since time

immemorial, most recognizably along with prayer beads.

The value of this type of meditation is well-understood by practitioners, although, difficult to quantify.

It offers a simple but powerful means of creating the emergence of desired positive outcomes

in personality, habits, beliefs and emotions.

"Mantra is really just a specialized grouping of sounds and vibrations which positively

affect the mental and physiological planes.

The effects of sound on the brain have been demonstrated in Electro Encephala Graph (EEG)

charts as well as by documented physical changes (skin temperature, heart rate, respiratory

rate among them).

While we may consciously want to remove certain thought patterns, they can be difficult to

dislodge because they are formed at subconscious levels.

This is where mantra can be very effective."

~Christina Sarich Speaking on how this process works, Hindu

priest and international speaker Dandapani explains how mantras are similar to affirmations

in how they work to reprogram the subconscious mind.

In an interview with Brian Rose of London Real, Dandapani answers the question of why

the simple concentrated repetition of sound can so powerfully brings about positive changes

in personal behavior.

"You can say they are prayer beads, but they're actually more like affirmation or

mantra beads.

So, we use these to actually program our subconscious.

So as we chant on each bead, we chant an affirmation.

I am happy, or I'm confident.

And we repeat the same chant over and over again, and there are 108 beads… one chant

over and over again."

There is more to it than just saying a phrase 108 times, however, and as he explains, three

ingredients are necessary: "Concise choice of positive words, clear visualization, and

a corresponding feeling."

The process of visualization is extremely important in clarifying for the mind the precise

object in focus.

If you were to chant, 'I love apples,' the brain would become confused by the word

apple, however, unless a very clear picture of the apple is presented along with the mantra.

Regarding a corresponding feeling, he explains how feeling is emotion and emotion is energy,

quoting the late Nikola Tesla.

"He [Tesla] had this beautiful saying which kind of encapsulates Hindu philosophy really

well.

He said that, 'to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency

and vibration.'

Everything is made up of energy that's vibrating at its own frequency.

What we believe is that if your subconscious is filled with patterns that are vibrating

at a certain frequency… and if you can go into your subconscious and create a pattern,

infuse it with energy that's vibrating at a certain frequency, you can attract things

of a similar nature to it."

The combined of effect of intentionally applying sound, visualization and emotion to create

positive change can override the contents of the subconscious mind.

Jurgen Klopp is set to recall his big guns for Liverpool's second clash in five days against Leicester City, but could be without a key defensive duo.

The Reds return to the East Midlands looking to take revenge for Tuesday's League Cup defeat by claiming a much-needed Premier League victory.

The opening instalment of the double-header saw Liverpool's winless run extend to four games, and Klopp's side must improve significantly to avoid a fourth straight King Power loss and end the slump.

Klopp heavily rotated his lineup for the cup tie in attempt to save most of his key players for Saturday's more important league clash.

But all has not gone to plan, with Liverpool facing the possibility of being without both first-choice centre-backs, Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip, as the Reds look to set the record straight.

If Matip and Lovren do miss out, Gomez and Klavan will continue at centre-back, and that is likely to spark change either side of the inexperienced partnership.

Trent Alexander-Arnold would be certain to return at right-back, while on the opposite side Alberto Moreno is likely to replace Robertson, who has played successive 90 minutes.

Klopp will also look to revive what was a lifeless midfield in midweek, and can do so by reintroducing Can and James Milner, with the duo adding energy in box-to-box roles ahead of Jordan Henderson.

Selecting that three-man centre would allow Coutinho to continue from the left of attack—where he looked his sharpest so far on Tuesday—and Salah from the right, with the pair flanking Firmino.

Klopp has received one welcome boost with Can having been passed fit, and the boss will be hopeful for a second with Matip ahead of kickoff.

If the Cameroonian does pull through, he will surely make an instant return to centre-back, with the big question then over who partners him out of Gomez and Klavan.

But with Gomez suspended for Tuesday's Champions League tie the youngster should play, thus keeping Klavan rested for the trip to Moscow for which Lovren could also be unavailable.

Klopp could opt for slightly different setups in midfield and attack too—specifically to deploy an attack-minded selection in search of sparking an improvement in front of goal.

This could see Coutinho move back into a central role, as against Burnley, to provide creativity from midfield alongside Wijnaldum and ahead of Can—keeping Henderson preserved for Tuesday.

A space then opens for an extra goalscoring threat to feed off Coutinho's supply, and Sturridge should be the man to enter to lead the line, with support from Firmino and Salah.
