End of the world: TV broadcaster interrupts shows to play APOCALYPTIC message

Christians have been fearing that the world will end on September 23, and a mysterious interruption of broadcasts on southern Californian broadcasting firm Cox Communication to warn of "violent times" has done nothing to calm fears.

Viewers watching channels on the television service said that at 1105AM on September 21, a video halted usually programming, with a voice over saying "Realise this, extremely violent times will come." Stacy Laflamme of Lake Forest told the Orange County Register that she was watching the HGTV channel when the alert took place.

She said: "It almost sounded like Hitler talking. It sounded like a radio broadcast coming through the television.".

Erin Mireles told the same paper that she was watching Bravo when the doomsday announcement took place. She said: "I was definitely startled, 'cause the volume increased exponentially.

"I wasn't alarmed in the sense of thinking something was wrong, 'cause I assumed it was some sort of hack." However, Cox Communications said that it was actually a test.

Spokesman Joe Camero said: "With these tests, an emergency tone is sent out to initiate the test. "After the tone is transmitted, another tone is sent to end the message.

It appears that the radio station (or stations) did not transmit the end tone to complete the test. "We don't want to alarm anyone with any false emergency alerts.".

Naturally though, social media has linked this to the end of the world prophecy by David Meade.

Scores of YouTube videos and evangelical websites point to an astrological constellation on September 23 matching Revelation 12:1–2, which will signal the start of the Rapture and the arrival of Nibiru.

The Bible passage 12:1–2 reads: And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars.

She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth..

Christian numerologist David Meade state September 23 is the day Nibiru will arrive and bring in the apocalypse. Mr Meade said: "The great sign of The Woman as described in revelation 12:1-2 forms and lasts for only a few hours.

According to computer generated astronomical models, this sign has never before occurred in human history. "It will occur once on September 23, 2017.

It will never occur again. When it occurs, it places the Earth immediately before the time of the Sixth Seal of Revelation.

"During this time frame on September 23, 2017, the moon appears under the feet of the Constellation Virgo. The Sun appears to precisely clothe Virgo.".

Jennifer Lawrence continues her campaign of just plain not giving a darn what anyone thinks.

According to People magazine, the actress gave critics of her film "Mother!" a big

middle finger at an Academy screening in New York City.

J-Law appeared with her director/boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky, who reportedly just laughed

off his girlfriend's actions.

After all, they couldn't really bomb any worse.

"Mother!" made a measly $7.5 million dollars at the box office its opening weekend, and

received an "F" rating from CinemaScore, which polls results from audiences.

According to People, J-Law told reporters "We knew it was going to be polarizing…

So it's just hilarious to see, you know, the people who love it and they think it's

amazing and they get it.

And the people who don't like it, absolutely despise it…

There's no in between."

It might be a total flop, so J-Law will flip haters the bird.

Kenneka Jenkins GoFundMe Pages Are Fake, Mother Tereasa Martin Says | CaCao TV - Duration: 4:17.

Kenneka Jenkins GoFundMe Pages Are Fake, Mother Tereasa Martin Says

In the wake of Kenneka Jenkins' death, fake GoFundMe accounts were created by scammers to make money off the teen's death.

Her mother, Tereasa Martin, took to Facebook Live Tuesday to let her followers know she hadn't set up an account, but would let everyone know when she did.

"I'm coming out here to let y'all know there's a whole lot of people using my name [for GoFundMe accounts," Martin said.

"I thank y'all so much for y'all support and everything that y'all doing for me. I really appreciate y'all. But there's a whole lot of [fake] GoFundMe accounts that are running around with my name on it.

I'm going to make one. But I do not have one. So if you see one that's already been made, when I get one, I'll put it live.".

One of the popular phony accounts claimed the money was going to be used to pay for Jenkins' death and to seek justice.

"This is a page set up for Kenneka Jenkins to help get justice for my baby girl," the hoaxer wrote.

"As many of you may know, On Sunday morning, Neka was found dead in a walk in freezer at Crowne Point Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois.

We believe there is more to the story. Since this is still under investigation, there isn't much I can say. The donations will cover funeral cost arrangements, also to help with the investigation. Help me get justice for her! God Bless.".

The page has since been removed. The teenager was found dead inside a walk-in freezer Sunday. While police said there weren't any signs of foul play, netizens claimed she was raped and killed by her friends.

Police did not name her friends as suspects in Jenkins' death. Her cause of death was not revealed. Police would not reveal if lacerations were found on her body.

New video released by Facebook user Randall Jordan Tuesday showed Jenkins partying with friends in the Chicago hotel room.

Jordan reportedly released the video because he wanted to prove he was at Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel & Conference Center in Rosemont, Illinois the night she died.

"Dis another live video with all them n----- & females who was in that room with all know some! She was seen at 1:38sec & 3:34 . R.i.P Kenneka Martin #kennekajenkins #WATCH," Jordan captioned the video.

The clip has since amassed more than 50,000 views. Hundreds of comments poured in, with people telling their version of events. Some claimed they witnessed partygoers put something in Jenkins' drink, which is a new theory sparked by social media users.

One of the most popular theories on the internet about Jenkins is that her friends set her up to be raped and killed.

In a video posted by friend Irene Roberts to Monifah Shelton's Facebook page, netizens claimed they could hear Jenkins say "help me. " Another tale from social media is that man can be heard saying, "We're gonna murder someone.

Police said they didn't find evidence of foul play. Shelton and Roberts were not named as suspects. This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

Asima Chatterjee: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | CaCao TV - Duration: 9:33.

Asima Chatterjee: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Google Asima Chatterbee google doodle. Asima Chatterjee, a Calcutta native who was a groundbreaking pioneer in the field of chemistry, and whose work is still helping cancer patients and others to this day, is the subject of the September 23 Google Doodle.

Asima Chatterjee was growing up in Calcutta in the 1920s and 1930s, it was almost unheard of for a woman to study chemistry.

But that didn't stop Chatterjee: she not only completed her undergraduate degree in organic chemistry, but she also went on to receive a Doctorate of Science — the first woman to do so in India!" Google notes.

The Google Doodle is running on what would have been Chatterjee's 100th birthday. According to Google, "Today's Doodle pays homage to this trailblazer and her great accomplishments in the name of science.".

The inspirational Chatterjee once famously said, "I wish to work as long as I live. Here's what you need to know:.

Chatterjee, Who Was Born in Calcutta, India to a Doctor Father, Studied the Medicinal Properties of Plants. Asima Chatterjee's research into plants' medicinal powers helped develop drugs that treated well-known ailments like epilepsy and malaria.

According to Google, "Dr. Chatterjee primarily studied the medicinal properties of plants native to India. Throughout her career, her research contributed to the development of drugs that treated epilepsy and malaria.

" An article on Chatterjee's career by S.C. Pakrashi, who was a PHD student of Chatterjee's, reports that Chatterjee "successfully developed the anti-epileptic drug, Ayush-56 from Marsilia minuta and the anti-malarial drug from Alstonia scholaris, Swrrtia chirata, Picrorphiza kurroa and Ceasalpinna crista.

The patented drugs have been marketed by several companies. A tribute to Chatterjee's career by Shibnath Ghosal reports that Chatterjee "started her research work under the guidance of Professor Prafulla Kumar Bose, one of the pioneer natural product chemists in India.

degree (1944) for her excellent work on naturally occurring indole alkaloids and coumarins. Incidentally, she was the first lady to obtain D.Sc. degree of any University in India.".

Professor Asisth De, writing on Chatterjee, called her "one of the best known Indian natural products chemists of the last century. She has made significant contributions to the chemistry of alkaloids, coumarins and other plant products.

By her relentless research efforts, she was able to isolate a large number of natural products from many species of plants indigenous to the Indian subcontinent, unravel their structure by degradative, spectroscopic and synthetic procedure.

According to De, Asima Chatterjee, whose maiden name was Mookerjee, was born on September 23, 1917, in Calcutta, the eldest of the two children of Indra Narayan Mookerjee, a medical doctor, and his wife, Kamala Devi.

"Her brother, Sarashi Ranjan Mookerjee, later became a renowned surgeon and collaborated with his sister in her research on medicinal plants," De reports.

Pakrashi notes that Chatterjee's father was an amateur botanist, which may have originally stimulated her interest in plants' healing powers.

Asima Chatterjee's Research Contributed to Modern Chemotherapy Treatments. Asima Chatterjee's contributions to the field of chemistry are still felt today, especially in the area of cancer treatment.

"Dr. Chatterjee's most noted contribution to the field, however, was her work on vinca alkaloids. Alkaloids are compounds made from plants, often to treat medical ailments.

Vinca alkaloids, which come from the Madagascar periwinkle plant, are used today in chemotherapy treatment because they help slow down or stall the multiplying of cancer cells," Google reported.

She banded together on this work with scientists in America and Switzerland. (Mrs.) Chatterjee worked with Professor L.

Zechmeister at California Institute of Technology, USA, on carotenoids, and (1949-50) with Professor Paul Karner, N.L., at University of Zurich, Switzerland, on alkaloids, which remained her life-long interest," Ghosal reports.

Pakrashi wrote that Chatterjee inspired her students, who toiled with little financial help, but was a taskmaster as well. "She was a very hard task master, never satisfied with performance and would never compromise with the standard of work," according to Pakrashi.

Chatterjee's Life Work Was Honored by Universities & the Indian Government. Chatterjee's "groundbreaking contributions to medicine were recognized by universities all over the world," Google noted.

"She received numerous accolades from the Indian government, including some of the highest awards (like the Padma Bhushan) and an appointment to the upper house of Parliament.

According to Pakrashi, Chatterjee "published around 400 papers in national and international journals and more than a score of review articles in reputed serial volumes. Her publications have been extensively cited and much of her work has been included in several textbooks.".

Asima Chatterjee was growing up in Calcutta in the 1920s and 1930s, it was almost unheard of for a woman to study chemistry," the Mirror reports.

Chatterjee Founded the Department of Chemistry at a College & Was One of the First Indian Women to Receive a Scientific Doctorate in That Country.

"A firm believer in collaboration and teaching, Dr. Chatterjee also founded and led the department of chemistry at Lady Brabourne College. She started a research institute and mentored many of India's rising chemistry scholars," Google noted.

According to Ignite, Chatterjee's scientific acumen was obvious early on. "Asima Chatterjee was an excellent student while growing up in India, eventually graduating with honors in chemistry from the University of Calcutta in 1936," the site notes.

"In 1940, she returned to the university as the founding head of the department of chemistry at Lady Brabourne College and in 1944, and she became only the second woman to be conferred a Doctorate of Science by an Indian university based on her research on the chemistry of plant products and synthetic organic chemistry.

Chatterjee Was Married to Another Scientist Who Encouraged Her Work. According to Ghosal, Chatterjee "married Professor Dr. Baradananda Chatterjee, FNA (since deceased), who was an authority in soil science.".

Chatterjee's husband "became a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy. They had a daughter, Julie Banerjee, their only child, who became a professor of organic chemistry at Calcutta University," Professor De reports.

He noted that the encouragement that Chatterjee received from her husband to pursue her scientific inquiries was unusual in India at that time.

According to the Hindustan Times, Asima Chatterjee "had one child, a daughter called Julie, with her husband Dr. Baradananda Chatterjee, and died in 2006 in her nursing home at the age of 90.".
