Youtube daily have Oct 27 2018

Hi, I'm Will Deyonker from

Centria Autism Services.

We're out here today asking people

"Have you ever met someone

that has autism?"

I've known a few people

just from growing up, et cetera and

I work with a ton of kids

with autism.

Most of the time I've seen

with people my age

they're like working with some

company that's trying to support

autism on why you should help.

I imagine there are many people

with autism that I don't

even know have autism.

I have met a lot of

different kids with autism.

Like I said, they're all completely

different from each other

they all have certain things that

they're generally interested in.

Like, that's really the only reason

I've seen someone with autism, yeah.

There's a saying in the autism community

that if you've seen one person with

autism, you've seen one person with autism.

which is meant to drive home the fact

that despite some portrayals in movies

and dramatic television,

there is as much variation in the

way the condition expresses itself

as there are differences in personality

and temperament in general.

This is also one of the

major reasons that we now refer to

what was once considered a bunch

of different but related conditions as

the autism spectrum.

Autism itself is not necessarily disabled.

There are many people, children and

adults who are, as author Debbie

Reber calls it, "differently wired."

And they lead productive lives

positively contributing to their families

and communities.

For children and adults across

the entire spectrum, therapy based

on the principles of Applied Behavior

Analysis can help them overcome

their autism-related disabilities,

and develop a portfolio of skills

and behaviors that will allow them

to achieve their full potential.

Navy SEAL Veterans Have A Bold Message For Students Who Claim 2016 Election "Traumatized" Them - Duration: 3:55.

Two military veterans — one of them a double-amputee — have a stern message for the 25 percent

of college-aged millennials and other bellyachers who claim to be suffering from post traumatic

stress disorder because of President Donald Trump's successful ascendancy to the White

House.

"First off, you don't have PTSD.

You are not traumatized," Navy SEAL veteran Eli Crane said this week in an interview with

the Independent Journal Review.

He added: "The only things you are suffering from is weakness, entitlement, poor upbringings

and from growing up in a disgraceful time period where progressive policies 'Trumped'

common sense and parental responsibility."

He added that what millennials are doing is misappropriating "a diagnosis primarily

reserved for combat vets, first responders, sexual assault victims and individuals who

have suffered from real trauma."

But why are they doing this?

Because they've been "so coddled and protected from reality" all their lives:

Since many of you out there don't understand what real PTSD and trauma look like, I encourage

you to go to one of our military hospitals and hang out for a day or two with a soldier

who has been blown up or watched friends die in a combat zone.

You can also go chat with a first responder who has been working the streets or riding

in an ambulance for ten years to hear about real trauma.

I guarantee you they won't ever bring up a presidential or political election of any

kind.

The 25 percent number stems from a recently published study from San Francisco State University,

which found that a quarter of college-aged millennial Arizona State University students

allegedly suffer from PTSD because of Trump's election.

The results of this test have annoyed veterans because they feel there's no equivalency

between losing an election and fighting in a war and seeing your friends being killed.

Speaking with the hosts of "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday morning, double-amputee Marine

Corps veteran Joey Jones concurred with Crane's assessment, adding that millennials' alleged

PTSD is "equivalent to a bad hair day," at worst.

"It's not the equivalent to putting your buddy into a bag.

It's not the equivalent to trying to save someone's life and watching it slip away

in the middle of combat," he said.

"You can take your studies, your degrees, your entitled opinions, and claim whatever

you would like," he continued, adding that their claims of suffering from PTSD are "disgusting."

"What this country needs is men and women of strong mind and strong faith.

That's who serves this country.

Unfortunately, those are the people who truly have suffered from PTSD but thankfully, they're

strong enough and we believe in them enough that we'll get them through it," he added.

He echoed these points in a series of tweets that he posted later on Wednesday:

In a story years ago about Jones' ordeals, ABC News reported that he lost his legs in

Afghanistan eight years ago when, while defusing bombs, one was triggered, setting off a massive

explosion that nearly killed him.

"They wouldn't even tell me if he was alive," his mom told the outlet.

"They told me he had lost both of his legs, one below the knee and one above.

They had to do an amputation.

And they told me one of his arms was broken.

That's all they told me."

It's unclear why millennials who had to deal with losing an election feel their purported

tribulations are in any way equivalent to what men like Jones have endured.

Arsenal have got grit... now let's see how they handle the best - Duration: 5:07.

The best teams are defined by how they play away from home. Arsenal did not look capable of competing on the road last season, winning four of their 19 away trips in the Premier League

They were embarrassing to watch and their ability to get to boiling point was being questioned

Unai Emery has quickly identified the weakness. He is getting these players to dig deeper in a way that Arsene Wenger was unable to do at the end of his tenure and it has produced 11 straight wins

Watching Emery's side grind out their victory at Sporting Lisbon reminded me of the '1-0 to the Arsenal' days

It may not have been the prettiest performance but there was an inevitability that they would get the job done

The key acquisition has been midfielder Lucas Torreira, the only man to play in all 11 wins

He has added steel and bite, controls the play and allows Granit Xhaka to be more creative

For all their grit, Arsenal have lost none of their swagger. Aaron Ramsey's Harlem Globetrotters goal at Fulham and the wonderful third against Leicester are two of the best goals we have seen in the Premier League this season

Arsenal are recognising that they must fight and scrap for the right to play but they are yet to find their true competitive edge

The attitude of Wenger's great teams was to win matches as quickly as possible. This current group almost need to be jolted into action before they can produce their best

At Fulham, Arsenal conceded an equaliser on the stroke of half-time before responding with a four-goal blitz after the break

It took falling behind at home to Leicester to inspire their 3-1 victory on Monday

Emery clearly has the drive and determination. His challenge is to inject that spirit into this team so that they take the game to their opponents from the off

So far, he has been doing it by keeping his players on their toes. As a professional, you should always play with a lingering fear that you could lose your place

For too long these players have been in a comfort zone but Emery is shaking them out of it with constant changes to his XI

Arsenal do not yet have an established centre back partnership, with Rob Holding recently preferred to Sokratis

Emery does not feel compelled to shoehorn Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan into the same team

Ramsey and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may not start every game but their contributions from the bench are crucial in finishing teams off

At times under Wenger it felt like substitutions were set to an alarm clock. Emery is more intuitive with his changes

He could have been tempted to rest Torreira against Sporting but sent him on after 58 minutes to strengthen the midfield

Emery's are coming off the bench hungry to prove why they should be starting. But when they come up against teams like Liverpool — who they face a week on Saturday — they cannot afford to start slowly and rely on their substitutes to save them

If Arsenal beat Crystal Palace on Sunday then Blackpool in the League Cup, they will face Liverpool at the Emirates knowing victory would equal their club-record streak of 14 wins

The longer you go without having to pick over an agonising defeat, the greater your confidence becomes

Already the Emirates feels like a different stadium. The atmosphere is no longer bordering on toxic and there is a feeling of warmth and positivity

Arsenal are still behind Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea in the race for the Premier League — but they are closing the gap

Liverpool news: Have you seen what Daniel Sturridge did in training? This is BRILLIANT - Duration: 2:54.

Liverpool host Cardiff City at Anfield tomorrow, just four days after their 4-0 Champions League win over Red Star Belgrade in midweek

A win for the Reds would see Jurgen Klopp's side go top of the Premier League before Manchester City face Tottenham on Monday night

And as Klopp put his players through their paces at Melwood this week, hitman Sturridge has been showing exactly why he deserves a starting spot against the Bluebirds

During a small-sided game in training, Sturridge found the back of the net with a brilliant no-look strike

And after watching the clip, fans were quick to compare it team-mate no-look specialist Roberto Firmino

"Firmino effect," one fan wrote. Another said: "Got his mojo back knocking around with Firmino

" "I thought it was only Mane who copies Firmino," a third fan joked. A fourth fan commented alongside a GIF of Firmino: "He's learning from the best

" Sturridge has been in impressive form for Liverpool this term. The striker has scored four goals in all competitions and he's since been backed to secure a new deal with the Reds

"I think Sturridge is a fantastic player," Anfield legend Ian Rush told the Mirror

"When he went to West Brom he may have realised that 'I want to be back at Liverpool'

"He's got a second chance now and he's done really well so far. Hopefully that will continue

"There's only so many who can play. I remember when it was myself, Fowler and Collymore

"There was only two places up for grabs so when you get your chance you've got to take it

"It's as simple as that. As for a new contract? Yeah, I think so. "I think it's one of those where he's playing for a contract now

"So it's even more important to him to show how good he can be."

Pumpkin Carving Doesn't Have to Be Scary! - MDARD - Duration: 2:19.

[SCARY MUSIC, THUNDER] Oh hi, I'm Ken McFarlane with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and

Rural Development with some tips for state pumpkin carving this Halloween for

you and your kids. First you're not gonna need one of these. [SCREAM FROM OFF CAMERA] Sorry!

Start by selecting the right pumpkin whether you get it from a local pumpkin

patch, or the corner store, a safe pumpkin carving experience starts with selecting

the right pumpkin here are a few tips: Avoid a pumpkin that feels heavy for its

size which could indicate thick walls that can be difficult to carve through

you also want one that's not too big or too small. Look for smooth less bumpy

skin which makes it easier to draw a design on beforehand and then safer to

carve. For best results look for a flat front surface for carving and use a

pencil or marker to sketch out the face. And avoid pumpkins with soft spots which

can indicate rotting. [SCREAM FROM OFF CAMERA] That one's on me!

Now, let's get down to carving your pumpkin! Give yourself plenty of time so

you don't have to rush; choose a surface that is sturdy and in

an area that is well lit. Put newspapers or paper bags down to make it easier to

clean up the pumpkin "guts" afterwards. Avoid using knives which can get caught

inside the pumpkin and instead opt for tools designed to cut in a sawing motion.

If carving with children, supply them with the age-appropriate carving tools and

supervise closely. Keep your hands and carving tools dry. When cutting into the

pumpkin be sure to use small controlled motions; for added safety leave the

pumpkin top on so you don't put your hand inside the pumpkin and risk cutting it.

One final thing [THUNDER]: once you're done carving your

jack-o'-lantern use an LED light to illuminate your pumpkin instead of a

candle.

Happy Halloween!

What is wrong with this mask? Anybody missing a finger? That is a lot

of blood. Can I have my knife back? Whose finger is that?! We're not gonna use any

of my outtakes CREW: No No.

The Ubiquitous Sound That You May Have Never Noticed - Duration: 8:03.

For some reason or another, I find elevators to be pretty fascinating.

I'm partial to glass elevators because they give you a glimpse of their mechanisms,

like the door operator that sits atop the cab and...

operates the doors.

Or the landing doors themselves, with this one marked UL

which I think stands for "unsightly lever".

I think part of why I find them so interesting is that we very much take them for granted

when they're often packed with interesting technologies.

Many are simply platforms atop a hydraulic ram.

Others like these are suspended by cables

which (usually) loop around a large drum-like thing at the top of the shaft,

which with the help of the counterweight moves the cab

in either direction without expending much energy at all.

Then there are weird hybrids like this.

Seriously, this is weird.

Two pistons on either side, and what's with the the cables here?

Anyway, limit switches help tell the controller where the cab is, safety interlocks prevent

the elevator from moving unless all the landing doors are closed and locked, and lots of other

neat things work together to make these moving boxes functional and safe.

In this video, I'd like to highlight a simple accessibility feature that's nearly everywhere

(in the US at least), but that you might have never noticed.

The Americans with Disabilities Act defines an elegant solution for the blind that is

obvious once you know what it is, but that may have simply never crossed your mind.

Most elevators will have some sort of indicator for which direction it's going.

Often you see them in the hallway, in which case they are called hall lanterns, and I'm

sure you'll have noticed that it lights either the up or down arrow

(or other shape).

They're not always in the hall, though, sometimes they're inside the elevator itself.

In either case, they usually make a sound.

But have you ever really paid attention to that sound?

Many elevators will chime to announce their presence.

Take a listen:

[ding]

Now, that chime isn't there just to be pleasant.

It has a very important purpose.

For the majority of us with sight, we can see which elevator has arrived

and which direction it's going.

But not all of us are sighted.

You'll have likely noticed the braille adjacent to the floor buttons or the call buttons.

Elevators after all are an accessibility device, and to be accessible to the blind, the braille

is added.

But that chime is also an accessibility device.

Pretend for a moment that you don't have access to any visual information.

Here's how that chime can help.

You've pressed the down call button, and now you're waiting for the elevator to arrive.

The one on your left arrives,

[chime]

but you know not to get in it.

You haven't heard the right sound.

[chime, chime]

Ah, that one's yours.

In the US, in order for an elevator to be ADA compliant, it needs to produce a single

audible signal for the up direction

[chime]

and a double audible signal if it's going down

[chime, chime]

You might be surprised how nearly universal this is.

Here's just a small sample of elevators which follow this convention.

I shot all of these with just my phone, so apologies for the quality.

This elevator is signalling up.

[ping]

Now the same elevator going down.

[ping]

[ping]

This one's going up.

[bing]

And now down.

[bing]

[bing]

Up.

[ting]

Down.

[ting]

[ting]

And now, a bunch more, all going down.

[ring]

[ring]

[bwang]

[bwang]

[doot]

[doot]

This one wants to be extra sure you got the signal.

[DOOT]

[DOOT]

[bwawnng]

[bwawnng]

[deet]

[deeee]

[bong]

[bong]

[ding]

[ding]

In some of Schindler's Lifts, you'll discover a signal that isn't just the same sound

twice, but a two-tone version that's definitely not obnoxious.

[Ding-Dong]

Then, someone at Otis decided to copy them, but make the sound barely audible.

[tin-

kle]

Of course there are others that not only chime twice

[fing]

[fing]

but then just come right out and say

which way they're going.

[Going down] (in the smarmiest voice imagineable)

These are really great for the visually impaired, because you'll not only know that the elevator is

*going down*

but also that it has reached the

*first floor*.

But on the landing, just a simple audible cue is enough.

In fact it can be so simple that it's just ringing a bell.

[clang]

[clang]

I'm a big believer in accessibility features like this, in fact that's the main reason

I caption nearly all of my videos.

And I really love subtle, almost unnoticeable things like this.

Maybe you have noticed a double chime before.

And maybe you already knew what it meant.

But many people, in fact I'd wager the majority, haven't yet put two and down together.

What inspired this quick video was a clip I heard on the radio.

A crowded office building, and an elevator arriving with a Ding Ding.

The subject aks, is this going up?

And I, in sync with the passengers, said "no, down".

I really don't know when I first learned this little tidbit but ever since it's been

kind of a neat novelty.

And it's also fun to find the exceptions.

In fact, I live in a building which is bucking the trend.

In a lot of older buildings, there may not have been a signal of any kind.

So, to make their elevators compliant, a signal is added in the cab, right next to the door.

Now, these elevators were updated in the last five years or so from their original 1970's

equipment (which sadly removed what I'm sure was a charming floor indicator in favor

of this boring thing).

And right here you'll find a new-looking pair of arrows.

But you'll also see that they don't do anything.

This is what they're probably supposed to do.

[synonym for ding I haven't used yet]

It's my guess that the residents in my building got fed up with this noise (it is after all

fairly loud) and got the elevator company to disable it.

And the chime is probably integral to the indicators, as I see no reason to disable

the lights in any other case.

But now these elevators aren't technically ADA compliant.

Oops?

It may have been better to lower the volume if possible, as the chime only needs to be

10 decibels above ambient sound levels.

That's how Otis gets away with this.

[tin-

kle]

Anyway, now you know why the elevator sometimes chimes twice.

It usually just means it's going down.

I'm curious to know if this is a standard around the world.

It seems like it could be, but a little web searching (admittedly very little) didn't

turn anything useful up.

To the 56% of my viewers that aren't in the US, please leave a comment to your country's

practices in this matter.

I be a wee bit curious.

Thanks for watching.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need a lift.

♫ excruciatingly smooth jazz ♫

Oh sure, ThyssenKrupp, those are totally real dot matrix LED displays.

Definitely real.

While trying to get some footage of these elevators being all busy-like, I happened

to film what at first I thought was a malfunction.

But then, the landing doors opened and hotel team member started cleaning the top of the cab.

I gotta give props to this hotel because they (apparently fairly regularly) are mopping

the tops of these elevators to keep them nice and clean.

By the way, this was the winner in my mind for the most pleasant chime.

[bong]

[bong]

That is aside from this.

[clang]

[clang]

I'll take a mechanical bell any day.

That's a good idea.

Make or Cook Dinner? Have or Eat Dinner? Basic English Grammar - Duration: 6:00.

hi everybody welcome back to ask Alicia

the weekly series where you ask me questions and I answer them

maybe first question this week comes from Isaac Alexander hi again Isaac

Isaac says hi Alicia what's the difference between make or cook dinner

and have or eat dinner about make and cook dinner there's really not a

difference unless you want to be really really specific and you're just like

using a microwave or an oven to heat up food in that case it's probably more

correct to say make dinner regarding your second question about have or eat

dinner or any other meal for that matter they have the same meaning yes but we

tend to use have more when we're making invitations like do you want to have

lunch or do you want to have dinner with me we use it a bit more in those cases

we use eat more when we're talking about like our personal plans I think half

just sounds a little bit softer for an invitation so I hope that this helps you

understand some of the small nuances there thanks very much for the question

okay let's move on to your next question next question comes from someone hi

someone someone says hi can you describe what a stereotype means yeah so a

stereotype as a noun is kind of like an unfair or kind of a negative idea about

a person or a thing based on some common characteristics so some examples of

stereotypes are like women love shopping or men love sports or like all Indian

food is spicy for example so even though it's like something that might be true

in many cases it's not true in all cases so this is a stereotype I hope that that

helps you okay let's move on to your next question next question comes from

Ronnie gun talent hi Ronnie Ronnie says how do you properly use the period and

the comma in a along with the proper grammar use

periods at the end of a sentence in the most basic form a sentence is a subject

and a verb so like I walked or he slept or she swam for example we put a period

at the end of a sentence I watched the new Batman movie the

neighbors ate all my popcorn so those are more like complex sentences we use

commas then when were connecting independent sentences with coordinating

conjunctions a coordinating conjunction is like an but or for so yet like I

watched the new Batman movie and the neighbors ate all the popcorn so I

watched the new Batman movie coma and the neighbors ate all the popcorn that's

when I would use a comma that's one example actually there's a video on the

channel I made about how to use commas it's an introduction to using commas so

I recommend you check this video out to learn more about commas no I hope that

that helps you thanks very much for the question ok let's move on to your next

question next question comes from Karima Hagen crema crema says I think the verb

address has different meanings could you tell me some of them one of the meanings

of address is to write the mailing address on like a letter or a package

like please address your envelope - or I have a package addressed to so-and-so

address also means to deal with something or to handle an issue usually

a problem something negative how do you plan to address this situation or when

are you going to address this issue for example so that means deal with or

handle something another meaning of address is like to give a formal speech

or to talk directly to someone so like the president addressed the country in a

televised speech or the CEO plans to address the employees in the morning

meeting so there are three different examples of how to use address again if

you want to know more about definitions I highly recommend checking a dictionary

okay hope that helped you let's go on to your next question next question comes

from Marcelo Oliviera hi Marcelo Marcelo says

hi Alicia what do these expressions mean to scrape the bottom of the barrel and

last resort to scrape the bottom of the barrel means to use like only the people

or the things that you have available and this means that they're typically

not of good quality some examples I had to scrape the bottom of the barrel

to find this computer for work you put that guy on your team you're scraping

the bottom of the barrel your second question about the word last resort

means like your last option the last thing that you are able to do or the

last thing you can possibly do you have no other options in a situation you turn

to your last resort I might not have enough money to launch my business my

last resort is asking my parents for a loan if this job doesn't work out his

last resort is to start working in his friends company so I hope that that

helps you understand those two expressions thanks very much for the

questions alright that's everything that I have

for this week thank you as always for sending your questions remember you can

send them to me at English class 101.com slash ask - Alicia of course if you like

the video please don't forget to give it a thumbs up subscribe to our channel if

you have not already and check us out at English class 101.com for some other

things that can help you with your English Studies thanks very much for

watching this week's episode of ask Alisha and I'll see you again - bye

doesn't mean that you're depressed

people being introverts some people just don't like to go out some people don't

like to socialize now it does sound like Scotty definitely has some kind of all

right but from some of his experiences I don't know you know if you still has it

but you know what will save the next part from we talk about therapy but I

just want all of you to know like it doesn't make you a depressed person if

you aren't at the same energy level as other people like myself twisted other

people we just chill like we just chill and I think part of it is older well I

just yeah I mean it's hard cuz I I I want to like be like well you should get

excited for these things like you should get excited to go to like Disneyland you

should get excited when like you see a puppy

I bet either so in that clip right there like Brandon like a million's in a row

okay so this is why I'm a huge huge advocate for meditation so part of

meditation and mindfulness minutes specifically is like watching your mind

for judgments right like anytime you use the words should that's like a judgment

that's like an expectation right so one of the issues that a lot of us have and

Scotty talks about this regularly how insecure he is the issue that a lot of

us struggle with is comparing ourselves to others right like we look around at

other people like you know we often don't take into consideration the fact

that hey we're not this is one of the reasons why social media makes so many

people sad depressed or comparing themselves or whatever it is because we

sit in this world of shoulds right like we're like this is why I like meditation

helps kind of declutter your brain and like get down to the root of it like who

said you should be happy about this like who should be happy right so we all have

our different wire differently like for example I was just talking to somebody

about how I went to Corgi beach day for my birthday

and like I get extremely excited when I see little Corky's wobbling around with

their little fluffy butts all over the place right but on the other hand like

my girlfriend for example she if a cat shows up she turns into like a kid in

the candy store loves cats you see what I mean so like something I want all of

you to start working on it's like quit comparing yourself to others especially

when it comes to emotions you know like that's just it's not fair to you you

shouldn't do that just use the word should but one of my meditation teachers

like every time I use the word should he would point it out to me he pointed out

how many times I said should okay that is that is judgmental that is like

you're judging yourself and it's also it's also putting these weird agents

where do these expectations even come from now let's talk about therapy let's

oh my god paused it I paused it I texted Tris online what the heck is happening

so like right here just I want you to pay attention to how Brandon says this

you haven't liked this is weird now you haven't like gone I don't want to

say gone to therapy because I mean I don't think you need it I'm always

worried that I'm gonna come off alright snow flaky if you will but if you listen

to how Brandon asked that question it's like stigmatizing therapy right

like he's like he's like you can see how uncomfortable he is like do you go to

therapy I don't think you need to go to therapy right and I'm just like what is

that supposed to mean what is that supposed to mean like one of the reasons

that a lot of people don't go to therapy is because people talk about therapy

like listen to me very carefully you don't need to be insane to be suicidal

okay one of the reasons like these guys you know in this point of view he he

didn't talk about it was I don't know what the situation was like I don't know

how old he is now but one thing I will say there's a few things I want to talk

about with that his experience with therapy one of them is I would think

more than anything that it brought up the problem with over medicating right

the problem that we had was over medicating people like just because you

don't get excited like one of the what symptoms one of the symptoms of

depression and you need to have multiple symptoms to be diagnosed with depression

one of the symptoms of depression is not having enjoyment in things that you used

to enjoy right well I'm watching somebody to see if they might be

struggling with depression like I watch them and there were multiple times

throughout this where I saw Scottie having fun

okay so again circle back to maybe this is part of his identity okay so I think

this spoke more just in my opinion to the overmedication problem like if you

walk into a doctor's office or whatever you say like I don't have other people

do then they're like here try these medications right it's crazy but the

other thing that he talks about and he doesn't dive deep into this was the

therapist told me a bunch of stuff that I don't know said the sophist told me a

bunch of things that I already know was really difficult

like I had a drive there I didn't feel comfortable driving there I got like

claustrophobic and anxious as soon as I was in the office mm-hmm I talked to the

person and like the person would be great you know we talked and then I

leave and I'd be like well they told me I know from my home town anyways she

went way back called common sense vers common action I'm actually gonna link it

in the info card I'm also gonna share common sense vers common action like for

example it's common sense that should go to the gym

it's common sense I could actually quit smoking right it's common sense that

people should go to therapy it's common sense that people should meditate like

common sense doesn't do you any good it's the action that you have to take so

because I hear this all the time I worked in treatment centers I work with

people of trying to overcome a big scene the struggle with mental illness and

they're always like I know I know I know I don't care I don't care how much you

know and I'm talking to you watching this I don't care how many books you

read how much knowledge you have in your brain if you're not doing anything

with it then what's the point common sense verse common action and by the way

check out the description and join our Facebook group again is phenomenal

because people are talking about the problem but focusing on the solution and

keeping each other accountable we aren't in there just talking about the things

we should do we talk about the things that we are doing and it's going

phenomenal so far so like if you're in therapy and you're just like and you're

sitting there and it's like oh I already know I know I know then do something

with it right like how many people do you know where they're like they know

they should quit dating scumbag guys or you know dating like certain women they

know they should but they keep doing it anyways so that just really rubbed me

the wrong way aside from just like I think most people need therapy it's hard

for me to think of anybody who doesn't just go into my little rolodex of people

I know I can't think of anybody who doesn't need therapy you know any people

okay you want some examples of who needs therapy check down in the comments below

check down in the comments below of any of my videos and try to tell me you

don't come across dozens if not hundreds of people who need therapy

okay so therapy needs to be something that we just talked about it's like

going to you know the doctor or whatever it is like we just need to get our minds

right so many times so so going back to you know people especially musicians

especially musicians right so I was telling twisted like before I even

watched the interview in the car I started going down this rabbit hole of

like who's Scotty like what's he do and I said listen to some of his songs

I've been in the beginning of the interview they like referenced his new

album and a lot of it is just talking how much you don't like yourself and I'm

like listening and I'm just like okay

no like with all the things that you see like online like all the characteristics

of what a depressed person would be an act like would you consider yourself

that would you consider is of kind of more for depressive I mean I don't think

I'm depressed I think I think I get sad sometimes more often than others I think

I'm a little more sensitive than some people so like is this something that he

keeps going like this is something that

this fear of change we're afraid to let go of that part of us right like I felt

like my drug and alcohol addiction was a part of me if I'm not the party guy if

I'm not the wild crazy party guy then Who am I and that's something that kept

me sick for a very long time so like I want you to ask yourself that I want you

to ask yourself like oh do you have this fear of change like do you feel like

you're gonna lose a piece of yourself if you get better you know like that's kind

of a that's kind of a wacky fear to have like afraid to get better because you're

losing something know losing something about how much you down in the

description where if you would like to work with an affordable online licensed

therapist you can like my girlfriend and so many others do let me know do you

feel that maybe your mental illness of your identity are you afraid to change

it you afraid to let go of me do you feel like sometimes you play into it

more or let me know down in the comments like do you judge yourself based on your

feelings of whether you feel or don't feel certain things let's have a

conversation down in the comments below all right if you like this video please

STONE CARVING - BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE A PUMPKIN ~ Artismia Sculpture - Duration: 6:55.

Stone Garvin it's been around for thousands of years.

rough, natural, and jagged shaped with sharp tools and hammers. A process of

elimination, to reveal what is hidden beneath the surface.

Oh wait a second

All I wanted to do was carve a pumpkin but I couldn't find one so I had to use this

The other day while exercising my overdeveloped skills of social media

futility I saw some really excellent carved pumpkins and I decided well I'd

like to make one of my own but the problem was I didn't have a pumpkin so I

had to use stone

since I had pumpkins on my brain i reshaped the machine cut stone to give

it a more natural look and a bit of a pumpkin shape

after using the pneumatic hammer and carbide tip chisel for some rough cut

shaping I grabbed my angle grinder with a masonry disc

(Coughing. . .) (Cartoon Sound Effect)

Well it's really starting to look more like an eggplant with a nose rather than

a pumpkin. At this point I grab another pneumatic tool with a round ball

grinding tip.

Oh man for some reason I can't help but to think of the dentist.

oh here we go another pneumatic tool but this one has

a carbide tip

So at this point I'm pretty much done using all the aggressive power tools and

have all the facial features blocked in where I want them. I now begin

adding some of the more subtle details you see more precise tools

speaking of which just last month two wonderful people while celebrating the

day of birth for a certain individual provided a gift which made the addition

of those more precise details much easier.

And here it is the gift that was

given to me an 11 piece stone carving tool chisel set made of alloy steel and

a portable bag. I wasn't really sure what to expect with this tool set but given

the aggressive abuse that I put them through it really turned out to be quite

excellent and held their edge very well.

In addition to the chisels I also received as part of my gift a Jack

Richardson 8 piece course riffler rasp set. Oh by the way these items are

available at Amazon use the link below in the description to get your own.

Well in conclusion, I think if your intention is to carve a pumpkin

you should carve a pumpkin or maybe an eggplant and avoid the stone because

it's a lot harder, you know because it's a rock. . . .

hey thank you for watching I really appreciate it how about hitting that like button

the notification button and the subscribe button if you haven't already done so

this is brandon from artismia thanks again for watching, we'll catch you next

time.

What If I Don't Have Money For Real Estate? - Duration: 4:50.

As we come as we come to the end in the series friends, we've been talking about

the merits of partnering. Whether you're partnering with me. And now you know my

criteria, you know my system or whether you're going to be partnering with

someone else and you want to duplicate my system, you have permission to do all

of that. But you might find yourself at the end of this series thinking, "Kris,

this has been so educational. (Thanks) You've done such a great job." (You're

welcome.) But you might be saying, "Dude. I don't have the money I need to partner

or to.... Or you know... What do I do?"

And I want to tell you this is really important. What you want to do is you

want to make sure you have acquired my partner profits course. It's very basic.

Low entry-level cost. You can actually click the link in the description and

talk to my team or go to kriskrohn.com and actually purchase that course.

Partner profits is all about how you take everything I've been teaching you

here. And I've got a blown-out course all about how to do it with business plan

and everything that you use to shop for people. Partnering is basically saying, "I

don't got the money but now I have access to a system. I'm looking for other

people with money and I want to find a way to put something together." If that's

you, then you need that partner profits course. Because it's actually going to go

through and specifically show you how do you actually get your hands on the right

kind of deals. How do you find the people that have the money. And how do you

become the deal maker. The deal maker puts the money and the deals together

and sandwiches some profits in between for you. It's a service to the people

getting rid of the property because you've found a really good deal and

they'll get benefited. You found the person that has the money but they don't

know what they're doing or they don't want to be involved or dot-dot-dot. So

many other reasons. The deal maker puts everything together so that you can find

deals take money and boom! You can buy as much real estate as you want. Now, you are

going to want to track records. So, when you take the partner profits course, I'm

going to show you how to step gently into the game or real estate. Because when you

buy your first three or four homes, you want them to be winners. Because that's

when you're the most vulnerable. You've got a brand new reputation. And if you

did a bad deal on a good deal, that's not a great way for you to get started. So,

I'm going to give you training on how you can access some of the good deals that

are out there. How to make sure you're doing good deals. So that you can take

care of partners. Trust me. I have an easy time finding partners. As long as they

have the right mentality and personality. I know who I do and don't want to work

with. And the reason why they want to work with me is because I have this

massive track record and I have all these reviews and testimonials. And I've

got people sending me thank-you cards. They're generating so much wealth. The

tens, tens, tens of millions of dollars I've made for people. That's because I

have that track record now. So people evaluate that and they know, "Kris you

have the deals." Of course we'll put up the money 50/50. And we'll

the funding partner and you go ahead and you know be the deal King and use your

whole system and boom! Let's create wealth with time. When you're brand new,

you need to be shown how to do that. The partner profits course, I put the whole

thing together to walk you step-by-step exactly how you do that. So, if you're

sitting here and you have money or you don't, you're like, "I want to go faster."

Then my advice for you would be to get the partner profits course. If however,

you're at this point in video and you're saying, "Kris, I actually... I don't feel

like I've got money because I've been stashing in a 401k, in an IRA, in an

annuity or maybe home equity. You know, maybe I got a little inheritance." And

maybe you've put a million dollars aside. Maybe put a hundred thousand dollars

aside. When people have accumulated a certain amount of money and they really

want to grow it, you could be a good fit for partnering with me. If you watch the

series, you now know what I'm looking for. You now know that there's a mentality or

a teach ability or a willingness to learn. Someone that values track records,

someone that has processes information and now has arrived at the ability to

make a good educated decision. If that's you, what I want you to do is I want you

to click the link in the description below. You get a chance to talk to a

member of my team. This is going to be a high level member. Some that I have

personally trained. They know my appetite, they know who I am, they know who I'm

looking for, they know who I'm not. And they're the gatekeeper and they're the

Guardian to make sure that I'm working with the right person. That might be you.

And if it is, you know what? Let's see if it's a fit. Go talk with them. And if they

think it's a fit, they're going to get us in touch with each other and you and I have

a chance to become partners. Friends, thank you so much for watching this

series. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn and grow about everything

there is on partnering. I'm going to tell you that in all of the videos that we've

created here, this is just the entry-level education. Partner profits is

what's going to blow out the rest of that education for you and show you really

what that looks like. Go to kriskrohn.com or you can access that. Otherwise,

click the link in the description below if you want to have your hand at seeing

if you might be my next partner.
