Brighton finds - are they REAL or FAKE? I went thrifting !! - Duration: 8:18.

Clip to save you will be amazed with Couponing Crystle. Lovely people Couponing Crystle here with my thrift haul for tonight oh i did a

little thrift in when I got off work and I wanted to show you guys what I got I

think that you can find great quality pieces at thrift stores yard sales at a

fraction of that name-brand price because you know we want to save money

we don't want to spend a whole bunch of money I most certainly don't you know no

coupon dancing is required for this deal but I feel like you can still find

things for the low low price of turn they're free when you look at it in

comparison to what you would pay for it full price in the store or the regular

store department store so the first thing I got was these cuties right here

look at these shoes these shoes were in such great great condition

they were priced at $12.99 but I didn't pay $12.99 I actually paid 650 because

they were half price I mean none of the fur or the skin on the shoe is missing

nowhere nowhere the heel is not messed up I mean the person really just didn't

wear the shoe okay so there is the name-brand right there I mean it is just

a great great quality shoe it's got a great soul it's got cushion and it's got

the rubber bottom so it is comfortable it's gonna be comfortable it's gonna be

a comfortable shoe I thought that was a great deal the next thing that I got I

found belts and not just any belt but a Brighton belt if you guys have ever

heard of the brand Brighton they have they actually started making men's belts

and then they expanded they went from just small company to a larger company

with like over 600 employees now and I wanted to show you guys what I got

now this belt was a full price item it was $4.99 but if you look online just

go online to the Brighton website and you will see to get a Brighton belt for

$5.00 it's quite a steal considering they have 80 and 90 dollar belts okay

I'm not gonna fade up and over okay so there is the hardware on the

belt I was excited about this belt because I

can fit it normally when I go into third store I don't find bills that will fit

my size okay so oh I'm sorry I'm showing you guys upside down so

there is the information now I'm gonna show you this next belt there you go

there is the coloring of it and it's just the belt is an excellent excellent

condition so I was greatly excited about this belt there was actually another

belt that was a reversible you know I'm this this part twisted and it had like a

taupe color on one side or you could wear it on the cream side I didn't get

it because it was not big enough so I had to not get it now this one this one

right here this one is an excellent excellent condition okay now the strange

thing that kind of baffled me about this one number one I had to get this look at

this thing it's a daggone stretchy belt that's so cold it doesn't look like a

stretchy belt I think that's why I wanted to get it because it doesn't look

like a stretchy belt this is the part that kind of threw me for a loop with

this one okay now I'm gonna show you that part I'm gonna show you this part

this is the part that really threw me okay it's because that China right there

I was like wait a minute bright products are supposedly made in

the USA and manufactured in California so I was

a little thrown off by that so I had to do a little research about it and I feel

better about it this one's five dollars as well because it said that components

of their belt it said on Wikipedia that components of their items are

manufactured in other places like China and different places like that so I was

like okay okay I feel a little better it doesn't matter even if it is a fake

Bryton it's the stretchy one I love that okay so I'm gonna show the little

comparison of the names and I'll let you guys tell me what you think in the

comments of this video but I mean I'm sorry it's a five dollar bill that

crystal can actually fit okay it looks like the same thing I'm sorry it looks

like the same thing so that's a little larger but it looks like I mean it looks

like the same font to me it's just a larger font so you know what No will we

ever know I don't know but I know what I got me two belts that fit that's all

that matters I did get up that's all I got for this

haul you guys may remember from a prior video when I got the Brighton purse I

thought I was bringing out just so you guys remember the brand that I had

actually got something from them before this purse I did get at the thrift store

as well I thought it was really cute because it was different the size of it

I liked I love the color and um you know it was three dollars at the thrift store

I mean that's just stupid okay that's just stupid it's got this part

it's got the labeling on the inside which you know the purse was just

in very very excellent condition so I had to get it actually haven't even

carried it yet and the reason why is because I got to find some shoes this

color that's the reason why I have some boots I have some boots that are this

color Conda but they're not patent leather type materials so I just kind of

want something that kinda is in that same family just you know even if I find

a shoe that looks kind of similar to this that would just be awesome be any

rate that is my thrift store haul I think I did great

lovely people if you guys did some thrift in this week let me know in the

comments below this video let me know if y'all think I got a real or fake or if I

got two one rear one fake it doesn't matter but let me know what you guys

think I'm curious to know what you guys think if you have some bright bells you

let me know cuz maybe just maybe that is letting me know the actual age of the

belts cuz honestly I feel like this particular buckle and the condition of

the buckle to me looks a little newer than this one I feel I feel you know I

don't know I mean I don't know they both look they look both look like they're in

very good condition but in any rate lonely people I'm police of my home but

tonight okay I thought about getting the other one that I couldn't fit just to

put it on Poshmark but nothing seems to make it on Poshmark it seems to always

end up in my closet I'm in my craft room right now I'ma be room because y'all

know I'm supposed to be making stuff remember click to save and you'll be

amazed

Awesome or overshot? You decide. The famous Japanese Maple tree of Portland. - Duration: 7:25.

in this video I'm going to show you how to take the best possible photograph of

the world famous Japanese maple tree in Portland Oregon

Hi my name is Tim Shields I'm a landscape photographer living in the beautiful Pacific

Northwest which is the home of the mountains the rivers and the waterfalls

and my goal with this YouTube channel is to help you take your photography from

good to great so if you enjoy learning about how to improve your own

photography then please consider subscribing to this channel in addition

I'm going to give you absolutely free a sample set of my Lightroom profiles for

Lightroom cc and you can get those by clicking the link in the description

below so I'm about to jump in the car with my very good friend and excellent

landscape photographer Chris Collacott and we are driving to Portland Oregon

the reason we're going there is because it is the home of the world famous

Japanese maple tree this tree has been shot tens of thousands of times but it

is in peak fall colors today and probably tomorrow so we're going to

drive six hours right now and we're going to shoot the tree and then turn

around and drive straight back home so follow me let's go

check the cupboard don't need my filters I don't need this lens that lens this

yeah it's all good I'm gonna travel light on this one

yeah I'm looking forward to capturing that tree let's go

so we just drove through the border and the customs officer asked so where you guys going

we're going to Portland Oh what's in Portland because we're gonna take a

picture of a tree what you're gonna drive all the way down to Portland to

take a picture of the tree and yeah yeah we are and then we got the evil eye the

stare anyway we're we're in we're in the United States of America yippee

we made it six hours of driving and we're in Portland safe and sound

so it's lights out now and then 10:00 a.m. the park opens in the morning which

means we get to sleep in super rare occurence on a photography trip and

hopefully by 10:15 a.m. we have the shot that we want and then it's jump back in

the car and drive right back home so that's it tomorrow it's the shot

this is the day we're on our way now to the Japanese gardens

so it's looking like these Japanese gardens where we're heading to are most

likely completely fog covered

we have arrived

There are 50 photographers in the park already this is gonna be nuts it's gonna

be like the zombie horde of photographers it'll be interesting I

just hope that we can get our turn at the base of the tree

it's definitely a lineup there's such a big lineup behind me so I feel the pressure to really

hustle nothing worse than having to take rushed photos

on this one I want to get the framing of the leaves here so it's like a frame within a frame but then of

course focus is a big issue histogram Oh perfect on that one so now it's just

really a function of focus getting the right focus first focus point will be on

this outside edge outside bottom left corner and then I'm going to move the

focus point into the middle a little bit on the rock and then on to the trunk

I'm trying various focuses various zooms there's the widest zoom 14 millimeters

and here's the tightest zoom 24 millimeters and I'm just trying them all

to see what see what's gonna work out in the end I also want to make sure that I

have some land at the bottom that green moss with leaves on it looks really cool

here it comes this is the photo that we came here to get

okay so I've had two turns and I think the lineup is getting close to being an

hour long so I am done but now I'm gonna walk around this beautiful garden here

and see what other photos I can find I'm sure there's some really great

compositions here there's lots of fall colors that's one of the problems with

being in a place like this is that you get hung up on this one composition

you're so intent on getting the one shot that you miss the sideshow and the

sideshow is more beautiful than the main show so I have a saying shoot the

sideshow go get the extra shots sometimes are more beautiful than the

main shots

so seeing these fish just gave me a great idea actually it's inspired by a

fantastic landscape photographer named Aaron Reed he's based out of Sammamish, Washington

and he took a really long exposure shot of fish just like these

ones maybe even at this particular place he put a really dark filter on his

camera so that the shutter would stay open for a minute or two I'm going to

give it a try and see what the results look like

so this is a different Japanese maple and you can see what happens if you are a little bit late in

the season to photograph it all the leaves fall off and this can happen from

one day to the next like during just one rainstorm or one windy day and the

leaves are gone and you lose your chance so we hit the tree just at the right

time here's the question of the day this is an ultra iconic photography location

every photographer has shot this shot. Is it worth it to come here? Is it worth it

to go and shoot a tree where there are already tens of thousands of really

fantastic photos of the exact same tree with the exact same composition what do

you think would you do it? would you drive six hours to go do it? or is it

kind of a waste of time comment below and if you liked this

video give it a thumbs up and please do subscribe it means a lot to me hit the

little bell beside the subscribe button and that way whenever I have a new video

you will be notified of it I will see you in the next video

Bernd Leno or Petr Cech? Unai Emery makes his decision for Liverpool clash - Duration: 2:33.

Bernd Leno will start for Arsenal in their huge showdown with Liverpool at the Emirates

Arsenal boss Unai Emery insisted this week that he was undecided between Leno and fit-again Petr Cech as to who should play on Saturday

But Emery has gone for German keeper Leno, 26, which must be seen as something of a gamble in such a big game

Leno has clearly done enough as far as Emery is concerned during Cech's injury absence to keep hold of his place against Jurgen Klopp's free scoring Liverpool

But it will be a blow to 36-year-old Cech who is a Premier League legend and has enjoyed an impressive start to the season

Cech's status as Arsenal's No.1 was then interrupted after he suffered a hamstring injury last month but did return against Blackpool on Wednesday night

It is a big chance for Leno against Liverpool in one of the biggest games of the season so far

Leno joined Arsenal from Bayer Leverkusen for £19million in the summer.  But it was Cech who started the campaign under the new boss before picking up an injury in September

The German has since started eight times for the Gunners conceding seven goals

He has also kept three clean sheets.  Emery has challenged his side to "write a new history" when they take on Klopp's side on Saturday

"We want to write a new history. The new history is in the present and also, with our players, our quality and our capacity, I believe in my players and this project

"We are starting this project with a very positive way with what we are doing.  "We are in our mentality that we also need to improve thing but each match they are giving us a lot of information for improvement and development and I trust in my players

Hazard, Azpilicueta or Cahill - Sarri finally names his Chelsea captain - Duration: 2:18.

Maurizio Sarri has confirmed that Gary Cahill will remain as Chelsea's permanent club captain and that Cesar Azpilicueta will take on the duties when the Englishman is not on the pitch

The 32-year-old took over the role with John Terry left the club after the 2016/17 season, with Azpilicueta as his vice captain

However, it is the Spaniard that has been the one with the armband more often than not during the past two seasons

Sarri has handed the captaincy around at times, with Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard both having the armband at times during pre-season, while Willian was the skipper in the Europa League win over PAOK

However, it is Cahill that will stick as club captain when he plays, while Azpilicueta will take on the armband if Cahill is not selected in the starting XI

"As we have seen in the last matches, the captain is Cahill, like in the last match," Sarri said

"When he isn't on the pitch our captain is Azpilicueta. Our [permanent] captain is Cahill

"Cahill was the captain last season. I spoke with his teammates and they all told me he really was a very good captain

For me Cahill is very important on the pitch and out of the pitch." Keep up to date with the latest news, features and exclusives from football

Are Brits or Americans more polite? Let's see! - Duration: 8:28.

Yes, I'll see you at three thirty then.

OK.

Cheers!

I just love your accent.

This video was inspired by a great comment we had from a viewer called Toure Malone.

Have I said his name right?

I don't know.

Toure, tell us if we got that wrong.

Here's what he said.

Americans are notorious for saying "Oh my god I love your accent".

'I'm one of them!', he wrote.

Does it irritate you?

'We can't help it.

British accents are divine' We'd better explain what notorious means.

It's similar to famous, but it's when you're famous for something bad.

Yeah.

A notorious criminal.

A notorious computer hacker.

And he says British accents are divine - so wonderful, beautiful.

He's right.

You think my accent's divine too?

No, I mean it's true that Americans often say this to you.

Are you irritated by it?

Not now because I'm used to it.

I like it now, but at first I felt uncomfortable.

It was awkward.

Why?

I didn't know how to respond.

OK.

See you soon.

Bye.

I just love your accent.

Well everyone speaks like this where I come from.

That's terrible!

It's like you're calling him an idiot.

I know.

I should be nicer.

OK.

See you soon.

Cheers.

I just love your accent.

And I just love your… dental work.

That's terrible too!

What's your problem?

It's less common to give compliments to strangers in the UK.

We have a different way of being polite.

What do you mean?

Well, there are two sides to politeness – two parts.

One part is about being inclusive and warm and friendly and agreeable.

Like me.

Yeah.

I'm American and we're famous for being friendly.

But the other part of politeness is about being leaving people alone.

That's polite?

Yes, so you don't interfere.

You let them do whatever they want and you don't disturb them.

You don't intrude.

You don't want to be intrusive.

Uhuh.

Not intruding is polite too.

Well that makes sense.

Both these sides of politeness are important in all cultures, but people give them different

weight, different importance, in different parts of the world.

Let me guess.

In America being warm and friendly is more important.

Yes.

It's important everywhere, but it's very important in the US.

And in the UK, we think it's important to stand back and leave people alone a bit more.

We can do that too.

But this is about different weightings.

Exactly.

If you think about the stereotypes of British people and Americans, it's sort of connected.

Hi, I'm British and I'm rather reserved.

If we meet somewhere like a railway carriage, I probably won't talk to you.

I think it's polite to leave people alone so they can go about their business without

me getting in their way.

Hi!

I'm American and I'm super friendly.

When we meet for the first time, I'm going to tell you my entire life story in the first

five minutes.

I'm polite so I won't hold back.

I'm going to share and be open.

Those are stereotypes.

They're not real.

But when you think about the two sides of politeness, you can see where they come from.

You know, sometimes my students ask if American friendliness is fake.

So not real?

Yeah, is it fake?

No!

After living here a long time, I don't think it's fake either.

It's just the politeness style – it emphasizes friendliness.

Ok, so let's go back to Toure's example.

When we say 'I love your accent', we're being friendly.

What's wrong with that?

Well it's also intrusive because it means you're judging me.

But I said something nice.

Yeah, but what right have you got to judge me?

That's such a funny way of looking at it.

And there's another problem.

If you say something nice to me, then I might feel that I have to repay you and say something

nice back.

Oh, so it sounds like I'm fishing for compliments.

It's a possibility.

Why can't you just say thank you?

Ah.

If I accept the compliment and then you might think that I'm big headed.

Big headed is a British expression.

It means you think you're more intelligent or more important than you really are.

You don't want people to think you're conceited.

Exactly.

You want them to think you're modest.

That's when you don't talk about your achievements.

Being big headed is bad.

Being modest is good.

And that's it.

Thank you everybody.

Wow.

I just loved your presentation.

It was awesome.

Thank you.

Erm...

I made some mistakes.

It was really good.

I forgot some things.

I didn't notice.

You were terrific.

Thanks Erm.

I really should have practiced more.

But…. but it was interesting.

No, no.

No, really!

Wow, that was awkward.

It felt like YOU were fishing for compliments.

I know.

I was just trying to be modest and you wouldn't let me.

Well, you kept criticizing yourself so you forced me to say something nice.

When I first came to the US, I had conversations like that.

It was really embarrassing.

The Americans were embarrassed.

I was embarrassed.

But it's not a problem now.

Errr.

Not so much.

I've learnt to be careful not to criticize myself.

She's very modest.

No.

It's not that we're really more modest in the UK.

It's just more important for us to behave as if we're modest.

It's a different style of politeness.

Exactly.

And I'm wondering, what politeness is like in YOUR culture.

Is it more like the US or the UK?

Write and tell us in the comments.

That'll be very interesting.

And if you've enjoyed this video, please share it with a friend.

See you all next week everyone.

Bye.

Bye-bye.
