JonTron Is Back With State of Channel & New Video

JonTron is back with an update on his channel and a new video. JonTron, aka Jon Jafari, released a video discussing the state of his channel. He said that while he was away, he created three different videos which he hasn't released.

However, every time he tried making a video he was dissatisfied with it. He said that he's been doing the same format for the past six or seven years and he fells that it's been too narrow.

He wants to branch out to more things. He said that his content takes a lot of time, resources, and coordination and that has prevented him from doing other things.

I'm not going anywhere but I'm letting you know that I will be breaking away from that formula a little bit and I'll be just sort of doing things that I think are funny and hopefully you'll think they're funny.

Ultimately I just want to keep you guys entertained and… I figured that if I'm having more fun with everything, you guys will enjoy it more too.

Jafari didn't say how he was going to shake up the formula, but he did release a brand new video to tide people over in the meantime.

The new video is a review of Cool as Ice, the 1991 movie starring Rapper Vanilla Ice. Jafari's last video was a review of Christmas with the Kranks in December 2016, which was taken off YouTube due to a copyright strike.

In March 2017, Jafari was severely criticized for his comments on immigration and race, as Heavy reported. The controversy began on March 12 when he responded to criticism of Rep.

Steve King's statement "We can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies," with "Wow, how scandalous, Steve King doesn't want his country invaded by people who have contempt for his culture and people! NAZI!!!".

He also said in an interview with YouTuber Steve Bonnell aka Destiny that America doesn't "need immigrants from incompatible places," that there was no racism within the U.S.

court system, and that there are more rich black criminals in America than poor white ones. He also said that white people will become a minority in the U.S.

Jafari did not bring up his controversial statements in the update video. However, he did make an update video in March 2017 discussing the statements.

Jafari has over 3,200,000 subscribers and 445,600,000 views on his YouTube channelsince joining the site on August 31, 2010. His Twitter account has over 2,190,000 followers.

NEW START: Paul believes the new series of the Great British Bake Off will be the best yet.

The judge, 51, reckons the standard on the new series tops anything seen during its seven years on the BBC.  In an exclusive chat, he said: "I can't wait for the new show to start.

The characters this year are the strongest we have had. And the standard is 10 times higher. .

Paul Hollywood "The presenters are on the programme for about five minutes and the bakers are on for 50 minutes, so they are the stars of the show." Bake Off switched networks after Channel 4 poached it from the Beeb for an incredible £75million.

When the deal was announced hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins quit along with judge Mary Berry. BETTER: Paul believes the new series tops anything seen on the show before.

Paul stayed after being offered a multi-million pound deal but he was criticised by viewers. He said: "Being called a traitor was one of the worst things I've ever experienced.

"Who am I a traitor to? I still work with the BBC on other shows. I don't like bullying, so I always go against the grain.

At the end of the day it was the right thing for me to do." Paul is the only star name who has stayed with the series.

MEGA DEAL: Paul stayed on the show after being offered a multi-million pound deal. He added: "Bake Off is my biggest achievement. I was never going to leave.

I wanted to be loyal to the guys that were loyal to me and I am very glad I went with the show. "I haven't actually left anything – it's the production company that left the BBC.

"Mary, Sue and Mel left for whatever reason they chose, but I didn't want to lose my job. I love it with a passion.".

QUIT: Mel and Sue quit the show last year after it moved from the BBC to Channel 4. Paul will be judging alongside Prue Leith, with Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig as hosts.

Paul said: "People get wrapped up in 'Who will host and judge?' They forget it's all about the bakers." The show returns on Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
