Hello everyone I'm Derek Spiller welcome my channel if you're new here then thank

you for checking out my videos anyways, I'm going to be talking about what I'm

gonna be doing on this channel so let's get right into it

okay guys I'm gonna be going over a few groups of what's gonna be happening

inside my videos in each group has like sub things inside of it like what I'm

going to be doing inside of the group and I'm gonna be explaining each of them

individually more in depth but before I do that I've got to go over a few things

I'm gonna do this at the beginning of every video if I head over to trash and

help these are things I need help with so if you guys will be generous enough

to lend your knowledge to me and tell me how to personalize Windows without it

being activated so if I can leave the settings really quickly if I can spell

uh-huh if I had any colors and Windows hasn't activated actually for me I don't

know how to change it from blue to gray or red I do know how to like make the

watermark go or whatever but that's I'm gonna save that for another video who

can explain how and everything later anyways how start cmd with colored

text so if I go ahead and hit up command prompt starts off with grey text in a

black background I'm on red text in a black background and how it changed the

Google Chrome icon so if I go ahead and open up Google Chrome down here you can

obviously see that the icon is normal and I want to learn how to change that

so if you guys can help me that they'll be amazing so thank you in advance and

in the description below it's going to say like number one number two number

three and it's gonna say unsolved or solved so if it has been completed and I

now know how to fix that problem then it's going to say solved so that being

said now we're gonna go straight into the groups and yeah so the main group

that's gonna have everything inside it's technology inside technology there's

gonna be programming viruses hacking quick tips and ciphers okay now

basically what I'm gonna go over my favorite one first ciphers there's

most likely gonna be something called cipher Sunday where every Sunday I'm

going to come out with a not just a cipher but like the code that you guys

need to decode and figure out yourselves you don't have to do

it that's just something that's optional and I feel like it'd be really fun for

you guys to do and for me well I can't do it because I'm gonna making it but

like you know fun for me to make at least and yeah so I've actually um there

might be a cipher already on my youtube channel and I don't know maybe I should

look around there might be one hint hint nudge nudge if you guys are actually

into it i'd rate it a 2.5 and like how hard it is of a scale from

1 to 5 so it would be halfway down but yeah that's basically ciphers I'm

gonna do that every Sunday most likely I might change up the schedule make it

like every Tuesday or something and though my schedule will I'll talk about

that in my next video but yeah so quick tip so that's gonna be

something that most likely not going to doing often that's just gonna be like how

to change your folder to look like that very simple not too hard to do and like

I'm not gonna be doing it too often next up is hacking so as I learn hacking more

and more I'm gonna share my knowledge with you guys and like show you guys and

try to explain that better than most people do online because most people

don't explain it well and I want to be like an actual source I just like okay

this is Derek you can trust him like he's not going to screw you over and

tell you to delete system32 and if you hear anybody say to delete system32

makes your computer go faster they're lying and oh god just please don't

believe them ever but yeah next up is viruses something still

probably not can be doing much of but I'm gonna show now virus is how to make

viruses and on top of that how to do yeah really that's like about it next up

is programming I'm gonna show you guys how to program certain things yeah

there's gonna be that and then there's also going to be you guys can walk with

me as I program things mainly Blitz3d or if I ever learn like any programming

language and I'll also show you guys how to do that with like episode 1 how

to code in C per room but yeah so it like things like that that's really

gonna be technology that's it all believe it or not that's gonna be like

the main that's gonna be my channel that's what I hope for it to be known as

um basically someday yeah the next one's gaming ah it's probably not

gonna happen maybe in a few videos okay maybe I just

decide to show-off like, my games are excluded the ones that I make of course

because that's like I made them that's different but like just normal games

like walkthroughs and stuff that's probably not gonna happen

but there's a slight chance if people like really care you know like if I had

actually end up getting like 100 subscribers that's just saying you try

that hard to just be freaking amazing you guys like be killing it if I got

that much and but yeah so if like everybody just like yes do it I'm like

okay fine yeah we'll do it like I'm actually like that would be fun view but

like I'm not sure if we just like break the vibe of everything then the next

thing up is the theology philosophy mathematics etc. etc.

theories all of that all that into one group that ones might happen it's like a

30% chance on 100% of happening is it gonna happen nope

probably not but you know like it might happen if you guys care enough and the

last ones vlogs I'm not sure if i'm gonna do vlogs I might not if I do then

that's great I feel like it might end up really stupid I'm gonna try a video and

edit it I'm not sure if I'm gonna post it if I don't think it's good enough you

guys again if you guys care enough I'm like yeah go for it do it I mean why not

try it do it like three times like three episodes of it if it's garbage then you

know that's something but yeah so the thing that's really gonna like end it off

uh-huh I actually recorded this over three

times and I can't think I haven't moved my mouse at all yet but I'm really

trying to think and trying to get this good because I've done it three times

and I really just say every time I kind of wanna shorten the video from being 8

minutes 10 minutes long to like 6 minutes long like how it is now so that

being said I think that's really gonna end it off I know there's something I

forgot so make sure to check out my next video because there's something I forgot

you guys can like check it out and cuz I know it's a big aspect and I literally

told myself not to forget it but I did but yeah anyways guys I really hopefully

Starting a YouTube Channel - 9 Easy Steps - Duration: 4:13.

Today I am going to talk about starting a video channel on YouTube.

Video has seen explosive growth.

Publishers, academics, educators, consultants, and others are embracing this easy and inexpensive

way to create quality content.

Here are the nine simple steps to getting started.

First, come up with the focus for your channel; what is the point to the content you will

be creating.

Develop a niche and see what other content is out there that serves this area.

The more focused the better.

Second, choose a platform.

I chose YouTube over other channels like Vimeo because of YouTube's connection with Google

Search as well as the broad audience the channel offers.

For YouTube, you will need to register will Google and create an account.

Sign into Creator Studio and name your video channel.

Think carefully about the name you choose.

By the way, the dashboard at YouTube is very valuable and shows views, subscribers, and

a host of other statistics.

Third, add graphics to the channel as well as information about you, links to your website,

social media, etc.

Fourth, you are ready to record.

Write a script.

Read it aloud several times.

Have a tight focus for the content.

I aim to have a video be three to five minutes in length.

Keep the videos in your area of focus.

Do not pinball all over the place with the topics that you choose.

Fifth, you are ready to record.

I use my existing iPhone 6 on a $10 tripod.

You can: speak from memory, make it up as you go along, or use teleprompter software.

I use the teleprompter software from JoeAllen Pro. $12.

It is easy to use.

I upload the script to the phone and I am ready to go.

Be mindful of the background, outside noises, and the lighting.

Test, test, test until you get it right.

I record in short segments and then link them together later.

When you are done, send the files to your computer.

Sixth, edit the files.

There are a few free video editing programs out there that work.

There are some that come with a cost.

All I do in the editor is trim the beginning and end of each clip, splice them together,

and add an introductory slide at the start.

Seventh, the file is ready.

I upload it to YouTube, add a thumbnail, and add my script in for closed captioning.

Most important is to be very diligent with tags about the video and a full description

under the Notes section including a transcript.

Eighth, publish the video.

Ninth, promote the video on social media, at your website, to your contacts, everywhere.

Make sure you ask everyone to subscribe to your channel.

Engage with your subscribers and other viewers.

All of the small steps mentioned so far (like creating a thumbnail) are very, very simple.

All have videos at YouTube on how to do them and they are incredible easy to follow.

None of these steps should scare you as being technical.

Believe me, they are not.

Each video for me takes less two hours to create from script writing to posting.

Total cost so far to create all the videos has been less than $25.

Scholars and academics can promote their work or do video abstracts.

Publishers can create videos from news articles or promote upcoming events.

Associations and societies can promote their meetings, engage members, or give updates

on new initiatives.

All of this is incredibly easy.

Have fun with it and experiment.

My enjoyment comes from the small changes in each video to the bookshelves behind me.

50 More Awesome Tools To Grow Your Youtube Channel With vidIQ in Less Than 10 Minutes 🔥 📈 🔥 - Duration: 9:04.

Recently we made a video on 50 Youtube tools that will help you get more views in less

time.

Once you have the vidIQ chrome extension installed you will see this button in your browser,

click it and you will find two sets of shortcuts.

The first provides links to all the major Youtube pages so wherever you are on the internet

you can jump straight to where you want to be on Youtube.

The second set of shortcuts link to vidIQs own web applications, full of fantastic Youtube

tools, let's delve right in.

Analytics is our first destination with a wide range of enhanced Youtube analytics.

You can minimise many of the panels or move them about to bring the ones that interest

you the most to the top of the list.

As well as minimising panels some can be expanded to reveal more information such as the playlist

panel.

Now let's take a look at some of the analytics in more detail.

The best time to post panel tracks when your subscribers are most active on Youtube to

calculate when the best time is to publish your videos.

In this example prime hotspots are weekends and afternoons.

The trend analytics is good for taking a snapshot of your channel's general health tracking

growth over 7 and 30 day periods.

You will also find these three top panels that you can customise between Top Youtube

searches for your videos, most views from which country, most embedded views and most

video views over a 30 day period.

And if you've ever wanted a graph that collates Youtube views, minutes watched, likes, dislikes,

subscribers gained, subscribers lost and comments for each and every day all into one, well

you'll find it right here.

At the top of the vidIQ web apps page you'll find links to other tools so let's take a

look at the video page next.

Like the Youtube Video manager this lists important analytics for your videos but the

settings button in the top left hand corner allows you to add and remove statistics to

match your preferences.

Some of the columns will even offer suggestions such as adding tags where there are none.

If you click on a video, a panel to the right will sweep in to give you even more analytics

as well as tools to edit the video title and description, schedule a video to be published,

delete the video and so on.

Now if you've connected your facebook pages account to vidIQ you can look at the performance

of your Facebook videos too, which will be quite useful if you're sending your content

from Youtube to Facebook through vidIQ's syndication tool.

The tools just keep on coming with subscriber analysis.

This takes a sample of your current subscribers and tracks what videos they are liking from

other video makers as well as other Youtubers they are subscribing to.

It stands to reason that some of the content will be similar to yours so you might want

to go check these videos and channels out for yourself.

See if there are any techniques you could adopt or similar channels you can collaborate

with.

Naturally each of the these videos and channels include direct links back to Youtube.

Let's return now to the topic of search engine optimization because the next vidIQ web app

tab is full of useful tools.

Bulk SEO is first on the list.

This shows how well your tags are performing for a video by counting how many times a search

term has brought a viewer to the video.

Sometimes viewers may even be finding your video through a search term you've not even

added to your video tags so this is perfect opportunity to add that tag to your video

to help improve its discoverability.

You can also quickly edit your video title and description here to include words and

phrases from the most popular tags, and you can sort the video list either by best opportunities

to optimize or most recently analysed which is done on a daily basis.

Channel wide tags harvest all the tags from all of your videos to see how well they perform.

You can sort by any of the columns so it's interesting to see if a tag you use ranks

on the first page of a Youtube search for that tag and how many times your videos rank

for a search term.

If you do rank highly and frequently that means you're doing a good job within a particular

search term.

The last three columns calculate the score of the search term to help you decide whether

it's a term that's high in demand and if you can realistically compete with other channels

for that search term.

If any of the tags you see on this page are of particular interest you can highlight them

in order to copy them and if you want to see how the tags you use are shifting over time

you can set a period of time.

So you might see best ranked tags go up, search volumes go down, and how overall tag scores

fluctuate over time.

If the channel wide tags page focuses on your own tags, the keyword research tool gives

you the power to search for any keyword and see how it performs on Youtube.

You can use this to research, compare and sort related keywords, search volume, competition

score and number of words which is really useful for discovering longtail keywords.

This is the sort of tool that can help you build an entire channel and of course, a copy

tags featured is included.

For an overview of what content is popular right now the trending keywords tab is the

place to be.

These keywords and videos will change quickly which is why you have options to choose keywords

over the last day or week and which Youtube category to look at.

Alright this next tool is a monster so strap yourselves in.

Simply take any username from a youtube channel and add it via the compare channels box and

this will give you an instant comparison for all sorts of data sets such as views, subscribers,

average daily views, average daily subscribers and so on.

You can choose to look at this data as totals, cumulative or daily over 30 days, 60 days

or all time.

And things start to get really interesting when you add several channels to the mix.

We call this the competitor tool and it can give you an insight into how channels like

yours are performing.

So if they enjoy a sudden spike in viewership you might want to look at their channel and

see what content you might have missed.

We're not finished yet though because underneath the graph, channel snapshots will display

which way the channel is trending over the last month and below that you can see which

videos are trending for the selected channels as they are sorted by views per hour.

Let's return to Youtube now for a few more handy features.

The comment filter tool helps you pick out such things as questions, comments with positive

or negatives words as well as comments from specific users.

You can even bundle different criteria together if you want to search for comments that contain

questions that you haven't responded to yet that include positive words.

And if that's not enough, if you want to search for influential Youtubers you can search by

minimum number of subscribers.

At the same time as filtering those commentors it will also show you exactly how many subscribers

the commentor has.

These comment filter tools are available from both the Youtuber comment manager page and

from your individual video pages.

On the subject of your own video pages, you can click the vidIQ tool button to copy video

cards, send the video to facebook and create a thumbnail.

That same button on other Youtuber's videos only allows you to embed the video.

At the bottom of thumbnails you will see a blue red bar.

This shows you likes to dislikes ratio, very good for sniffing out clickbaity videos.

Below that is an engagement snapshot of the video and you can mouse over that for even

more info.

On the video card creation screen, once you've finished making your cards you can save them

as a template and load them into other videos saving you the hassle of manually creating

the cards all over again.

Now if by chance you don't like the realtime stats bar or the thumbnail likes/dislikes

bar you can turn them off by clicking on the vidiq button and choosing settings at the

very bottom.

Two simple checkboxes here allow you to turn them off so that your Youtube page will change

from looking like this to looking like this.
