There are so many apps out there, nowadays that will save you money. It'd be silly not to use them. So today
I'm going to round up my top 5 favorite apps for saving money when you're out shopping
Alright first app that we are going to talk about is ShopKick
ShopKick is a really fun app because essentially you can do---
...Because the way that it works is there's different ways that you can get kicks and then you can redeem the kicks for gift
cards at participating stores
so basically there's four different ways you can earn your kicks to redeem them for gift cards. The first way is just by walking into
a store
walking into certain stores
We have the app open will immediately give you kicks
The second thing that you can do it is scanning for specific items while you're in the stores. There might be certain items that are on sale or whatever.
all you need to do is scan the barcode you don't have to buy it and you'll get kicks.
Third way you get kicks is just from buying from the store
all you need to do is connect your
Credit card or debit cards to the app and then every time it sees that you shop there
It will give you kicks. And then the fourth way that you can get kicks is
By buying specific items that are sort of like featured on the app so like as I'm on the way in the store
I'm going into CVS
I will go to the store offers
And I'll see all the items that are currently available for offers then if you buy any of the items that are offered
you just
submit your
Receipt and the pending kicks will come in. And that's all your need to do...rack up your kicks
And then you can redeem them for gift cards at these stores
The next app that we are going to talk about is ibotta. Obotta a gives you cash back for buying certain items
you can shop either by stores or by
products
And when you find a product that you want to buy all you need to do is click the little plus sign next to it
To add the cash back reward and different items will have you two different things sometimes
It will make you watch a video
sometimes it will just give you the rewards sometimes you'll have to answer a question or take a survey
But once you do the little task, they are then available
for the cash back on this item. So then only you need to do is buy this item at one of the
Participating stores, you can always see these by going to "my rebates" and it will break it down by store for you
So whatever store you're in at that time you can just go ahead and click it. It will let you know
What rebates you have available for that store when you buy that item and the item is verified that you
purchased it through the app the rebates will basically just
start flowing in. You can even connect your PayPal account to this so the money will go right into your Paypal account .
You don't have to do it right before you shops you can sort of just collect rebates over time and whenever you're in stores check what
rebates you have available
And then you basically just get paid for shopping and buying items that you would buy anyways .
Our next app is one I have talked to you guys about before and that is RetailMeNot
RetailMeNot, essentially just scours for all the coupons that might be available at every store and displays them for you right on the app
So the way that I use this is basically as I'm on my way in the store
I will pull up the app you can search by store
And it will show you all the coupons currently available in store or online, so you can also do before you check out online
It will show you whatever coupons are currently available
And I use this all the time and it saved me money every single time I stop. In general
it will save me a few dollars
maybe 10% of my order
But when I've combined two coupons before I've actually saved as much as 50% using the RetailMeNot app.
Our next app is ShopSavvy and what I love about this one is it essentially allows you to check any
product across all of the different retailers including places like Amazon to find the best price.
so if you're standing in a store
You can actually just pull up the barcode reader
And the barcode really quick and see if the price you're getting at the store is really the best deal or not
another cool thing about this app you can set up a watching area where you sort of select items that you're thinking about buying or
You want to buy and you'll get notifications
Whenever those items drop in price or go on sale.
Our last money-saving app is Earny
And what Earny does is pretty cool it connects with any of your accounts that give a cash back option.
if a price goes lower
So lots of stores and credit cards will actually offer you cash back
If the item you buy goes for a lower price for example you buy an item that's $100 in the price next week
Or the week after goes down to 75 you would that $25 back
But usually there's something you need to do on your end you have to fill out some paperwork and like show your receipts and most people
just don't end up doing it because it's time consuming.
The way Earny works is it does all of that for you. It gets receipts from your inboxes,
and then it searches for lower prices if the prices does drop lower it goes ahead and
it fills out all the paperwork for you and gets you that cash back for that lower price
