Kim Yoo Jung Talks About Her Carefree Style And How She Chooses Her Roles

Actress Kim Yoo Jung recently shot a pictorial in New York for the fashion magazine Cosmopolitan.

Kim Yoo Jung began her career as a child actor and has successfully broken out as a mature actress who can take on leading roles. She said, In the past, Id confer with my mom when choosing a role.

Now I still ask her for advice but its mostly my decision. There have been times when I receive a script and get so absorbed in reading it that the pages fly by.

I look for projects like that when I make a decision.. Soompi. Display. News. English. 300x250. Mobile. English. 300x250. ATF.

As befitting a fashion pictorial, Kim Yoo Jung also talked about her personal style. When I work, Im a perfectionist, but since Im still young I dont have a lot of interest in beauty stuff.

I pay so little attention to makeup that sometimes I get scolded by my mom. But I find trying to maintain my image all the time to be tiring.

Even if I get a scar on my face, Ill just leave it until it heals on its own. However, she added that she does have a lot of interest in clothes and fashion rather than makeup.

About her plans for the rest of the year, she said, I only have two months left in my high school life and I want to end it well. If I have time, Id like to get my drivers license.

I want to do all the things you can only do in your teens..

The full pictorial and interview with Kim Yoo Jung can be found in the Cosmopolitan October issue as well as their official website.

Top 10 Amazing Facts About Dogs 101 - Duration: 10:09.

Dogs are amazing.

And our Animal Facts family have proven over and over that you love dogs – all dogs.

But, do you think you know everything about our canine companions?

Let's find out with ten amazing facts about dogs.

Let's get started.

But, before we start, take a moment to like and subscribe for more fun, fauna facts.

Let us know about your doggy in the comments below.

10.

Your dog can smell your feelings.

Your pooch's keen sniffer can detect subtle changes in your scent, which can help him

figure out how you are feeling — such as by smelling your perspiration when you become

nervous or fearful.

This amazing ability has given the dog a new job in assisting people with diabetes, helping

people know they are about to have a seizure and even used to detect certain cancers.

Golden Retrievers are known to be especially keen to human scents.

So, when your dog snuggles up to you next time you are sad, know that the nose knows.

9.

Your dog's sense of smell is 1,000 to 10 million times better than yours.

Being able to detect minute changes in your scent is thanks to his amazing olfactory ability.

Depending on the breed, your dog has between 125 million to 300 million scent glands.

We humans only have about 5 million.

And the part of your dog's brain that controls smell is about 40 times larger than yours.

It's true, even though the canine brain is much smaller than the human's, relative

to size.

Your dog also has a wet nose because which helps to absorb scent chemicals.

While we humans depend largely on our sight to observe our world, your dog's perspective

is comprised of a marriage of colorful scents.

Which dog has the best sense of smell?

That honor goes to the Bloodhound with 300 million scent glands.

8.

Dogs can hear four times as far as humans.

His sense of smell isn't the only sense that outperforms our own.

While puppies may be born deaf, they quickly surpass our hearing abilities.

Not only can he hear four times as far, but he can hear higher pitched sounds, detecting

a frequency range of 67 to 45,000 Hertz.

The human range is from 64 to 23,000 Hertz.

As a predator, he needed to be able to hear small prey.

His ability to hear a wider frequency range helped him to detect and find his next meal.

Today, he might not need to hunt his food, but this doesn't stop him from hearing the

mailman as he turns onto your street.

Dogs with large ears that stand up, such as French Bulldogs and Chihuahuas have especially

keen hearing.

As with humans, the upper end of the hearing range decreases with age.

7.

When dogs poop, they prefer to do it in alignment with the Earth's magnetic field.

A 2014 study suggests that dogs are sensitive to small variations in the Earth's magnetic

field.

After examining 70 dogs over two years, observing 1,893 number twos and 5,582 number ones, researchers

found that under "calm magnetic field conditions," dogs preferred to potty with the body being

aligned along the north-south axis, avoiding east-west altogether.

Why?

Well, scientists were unsure.

They weren't even sure if the dogs consciously perceived magnetic fields in the way they

perceive sight and sound.

Dog poop compass, anyone?

6.

If a guy has a dog with him, he's three times more likely to get a girl's phone number.

Here's one for the single fellows.

There has been a lot of research into the beneficial roles your dog plays in promoting

an active lifestyle, improving productivity at work, and even decreasing the risks of

stress, heart attacks, and strokes—but your love life?

According to a survey by citizen science project Dognition, 82 percent of people feel more

confident approaching an attractive person if they have a canine wingman.

Research has shown that while simply getting a phone number from a random woman is notoriously

difficult, bringing along a lovable dog with undeniable charisma can facilitate social

interactions.

Save the oneliners, adopt a doggy.

5.

Your one-year-old dog is as physically mature as a 15-year-old human.

This varies from breed to breed and in general larger dogs age faster than small ones.

But, your dog matures at a staggering pace as compared to us humans.

This should be of no surprise considering his lifespan is significantly shorter than

yours.

Compared to humans, dogs age more quickly at the beginning of their lives and slower

toward the end.

Dogs age at different rates compared to humans, but the simple rule of 7 dog years to 1 human

year is far from accurate and is thought to have been a marketing ploy by vets to encourage

dog owners to bring in pets at least once a year.

One of the earliest examples of comparing dog age is an inscription at Westminster Abbey

that dates to the year 1268 which calculates that one human year is equivalent to nine

dog years, which was part of some strange way to calculate the end of the world.

But, we blame that on the cats.

4.

On average, a dog's mouth exerts 320 pounds of bite pressure.

Tests were done on a German Shepherd, an American Pit Bull Terrier, and a Rottweiler.

In comparison, human beings exert 120 pounds, and sharks exert 600 pounds.

A crocodile can exert a whopping 2,500 pounds!

The strongest bite force among dogs was the Rottweiler at 328 pounds.

Dogs also have ten more adult teeth than humans — 42 versus 32 for an adult human.

3.

Dogs have sweat glands in their paws.

You may have heard that dogs can't sweat.

This isn't exactly true.

Your dog does rely on panting as his primary means of cooling down.

But, it can help to wet the bottom of his feet on a hot day, as he has sweat glands

between his paw pads.

Humans, on the other hand, have between 2 million and 5 million sweat glands.

So, you should be mindful of your dog overheating.

We are designed to dissipate heat.

Your dog is not.

2.

Your dog does have a sense of time — and misses you when you're gone.

Another dog myth is that they have no sense of time.

While he is almost certainly unable to read a clock if you think your dog knows when it's

time for dinner or a walk, you're right!

Your dog picks up on our routines and habits, and he also senses how much time has passed.

Studies have shown that dogs do respond differently to their owners being gone for different lengths

of time.

Although, we don't suggest him as the keeper of your calendar.

Speaking of calendars, we publish on Mondays and Fridays.

So click that notification icon to not miss a single fact.

And now on to number one.

1.

Your dog is as at least as smart as a 2-year-old toddler.

Or at least, they likely understand roughly the same number of words and gestures That's

about 250!

While it's difficult to judge animal intelligence as compared to human intelligence, we can

make some simple comparisons.

For example, while dogs ranked with the 2-year-olds in language, they would trump a 3- or 4-year-old

in basic arithmetic.

In social smarts, dogs ranked even higher and can be compared to the social skills of

a teenager.

Which are the smartest breeds?

Border Collies, Poodles, and German Shepherds, according to Stanley Coren, a canine expert,

and professor at the University of British Columbia.

End of the world 2017: Why American Christians are getting VERY worried about September 23 - Duration: 5:48.

End of the world 2017: Why American Christians are getting VERY worried about September 23

Theorists, who have spent their lives decoding hidden biblical prophecies and secrets, believe that the world could come to an end on September 23.

Doom mongers are expecting the end times to start this weekend and have claimed that several cosmic signs will appear in the sky to mark the start of the Rapture.

The Rapture is believed to be the moment Jesus returns to Earth to lift up the dead and living to join him for eternity in heaven.

According to Thessalonians 4:16-17, the heavens will split open on this foretold day, with God himself stepping down to take his subjects "into the clouds".

One apocalyptic theory linked to the Rapture, purports that a seven year period of cataclysmic Tribulation will begin on September 23.

On this day, the astronomical alignment of Virgo, Leo, the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter will mark a prophecy set in the Book of Revelation 12:1-2.

Revelation 12:1-2 describes a woman "clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet" with a crown of 12 stars above her head, giving birth in the sky.

This celestial woman is widely understood to be the Virgin Mary, who will arrive on a ravaged Earth to wage war with a great red dragon.

Another shock theory merges the world of science and religion by claiming that the mystical Planet X, or Nibiru, will appear in the skies above Earth.

This popular belief is held dearly by Christian numerologist David Meade who believes that the Revelation prophecy will herald the arrival of Nibiru.

Mr Meade explained: "The great sign of The Woman as described in revelation 12:1-2 forms and lasts for only a few hours. According to computer generated astronomical models, this sign has never before occurred in human history.

"It will occur once on September 23, 2017. It will never occur again. When it occurs, it places the Earth immediately before the time of the Sixth Seal of Revelation.

"During this time frame on September 23, 2017, the moon appears under the feet of the Constellation Virgo. The Sun appears to precisely clothe Virgo.".

The theorist has claimed that the arrival of Nibiru will trigger volcanoes to engulf the world in flames, while violent earthquakes will cause tsunamis to drown the land.

Despite the severity of the outlandish claims, the scientific community has been battling end of the world prophecies for several decades. Nibiru and other stories about wayward planets are an Internet hoax, said in a 2012 statement.

There is no factual basis for these claims.. The American agency underlined that if Nibiru was really approaching, it would have been observed by the worlds leading astronomers.

Nasa added: Obviously, it does not exist. David Morrison, a senior scientists at Nasa, also debunked claims about the mythical planet claiming that it does not exist.

It would be bright, it would be easily visible to the naked eye," Mr Morrison said in a Nasa branded video. "If it were up there, you could see it. All of us could see it.

If Nibiru were real and it were a planet with a substantial mass, then it would already be perturbing the orbits of Mars and Earth.

We would see changes in those orbits due to this rogue object coming in to the inner solar system. " Even leading Christian scientists have ridiculed the Revelations prophecy.

Dr Danny Faulkner, a Christian astronomer who examined the upcoming astronomical event, is not entirely convinced that the world is about to end.

He said: "What sort of prophetic event is this sign supposed to usher in? Clearly, most people promoting this have in mind the Lord's return.

Some explicitly state this, but others, mindful of the words of Jesus in Matthew 24:36, are hesitant to make that claim, though their implication is clear enough. Dr Faulkner made it clear that several apocalyptic prophecies in the past have already been proven wrong.

He said: "For instance, the four lunar eclipses during 2014 – 2015 caused many people to anticipate the Lord's return then, but of course this did not happen.".

Learn about the Gallagher Internship | Gallagher - Duration: 2:55.

I actually majored in accounting and technology management but thought I

wanted to own my own business of some sort someday and when I came into the

internship actually saw the Gallagher was a perfect opportunity to combine all

those things consulting, sales, and that's where I really fell in love with the

opportunity to come on board. The day-to-day for this internship is

different every single day. They give you a lot of hands-on

experience. Being able to go to meetings and meet with all new people, whether it

be first year out of the job or senior executives and there are a lot of sales

challenges and speeches you have to give. You're doing things with programs with

some of your peers but you're also learning hands-on and doing the work

yourself. You're not getting coffee you're not printing and putting

materials together you're really getting trained in what you would do full-time

so I think of it as an eight to nine week interview, you're really assessing

what you would be doing full-time and they're also evaluating you. There's so

many different ways to be successful within Gallagher whether it be going

down the producer track or going down management and our management team does

a great job of helping make sure that you're staying on the right path to

achieving those goals. Gallagher truly supports my development

when it comes to me learning about all of the niches within the company and

also me growing as a person. Everyone really wants you to succeed they really

want you to develop your skills and learn how to present and be able to be

in meetings and move forward and become part of Gallagher. There are so many

mentors and resources available to you as both an intern and once you come on

full-time. They're helping you evaluate all the different challenges that you're

going through and making sure that you are being as successful as you can.

Gallagher is very unique and attractive when you look at the compensation model

that they have for for producers. Your earning potential is limitless because

it's not stair-stepped like in some of the other industries. At Gallagher, you

get out what you put in and so if I'm writing business and working hard, the

company allows me to reap all that benefit myself as fast as I'm able to make it there.

The people are what makes this job special. The company culture here is

really outstanding and it makes you want to come into work every day. Be open and

be ready to work and learn. This is definitely an internship program that

prepares you for the real world and prepares you for that full-time job

grow you as a person and to teach you about the insurance industry. You're

stepping into something that's both very competitive where you're getting pushed

and learning a ton, but at the same time you feel like everyone's there to

support you and help you succeed. Our business isn't necessarily rocket

science, but what's important is that if you work hard and you can follow through

you will end up being successful and the models been proven throughout the

organization no matter who you talk to. I was working 40 hours a week but it was

the best summer I've ever had

Confession time.

I must confess that I have had more fun on this show than I think should be allowed.

It was really an amazing time for all of us over these six seasons and it was really amazing

to come to work every single day to work with people that were happy and full and just

wanting to bring all of their creative ideas and all of their beauty and all of their creativity

to you for the last six seasons.

It's been an honor and a pleasure to play Mama McCall and to have the words that Jeff

has written for me and for all of us, and it will be an impact for the rest of my life.

It will be an impact on the rest of my life for being here.

I'm getting a little chocked up.

I just want to thank everybody for everything.

And I know that sounds so simple but it's hard to put 1000 days of shooting into words.

And that's what it's been.

It's been 1000 days of shooting.

There have been people here that have been here since the first day.

So I thank you, and I thank everyone on the cast and crew, and I love you very much.

This Jeep is getting hot.

And I have nothing else to say.

So I'm just gonna close it out of here.

Do you think this horn works?

It doesn't.

Brooklyn Beckham Shares Sweet Instagram About Rekindled Love Chloe Grace Moretz: 'Thinking of This One'

Brooklyn Beckham isn't shying away from letting his love for Chloe Grace Moretz show.

Making up for lost time, the 18-year-old photographer shared a sweet photograph of the 20-year-old actress on Wednesday, writing in the caption, "Thinking of this one xx."

Moretz, who dated the son of David and Victoria Beckham for nearly a year before they split, also shared a photo of him on Wednesday, with a simple caption, "8.27.17 NY."

Beckham, who recently started attending college in New York City, told The Cut that some of his classmates were a bit starstruck by him.

"I like people from school, but there are a few fangirls in the school," he said.

"Sometimes, I have to be like, 'I'm going to be with you for like, four years, so chill."

PEOPLE confirmed in August that Beckham and Moretz were "hanging out" nearly a year after they split.

On Sunday, Beckham shared a photo of himself watching TV and made it clear they were once again back on, wrote that he was "missing my girl," with Moretz tagged in the photo.

What the Kenneka Jenkins conspiracy theories say about how black women are treated - Duration: 4:47.

on 10 September 2017, 19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins was found dead in a walk-in freezer

at the Crowne Plaza OHare Hotel in Rosemont, a village in Cook County, Illinois.

Her friends claim that she had left her phone in the room where they were partying as their

group was leaving, so they went back to retrieve it, leaving her in the hallway alone at

which point she wandered off.

Since then a number of videos have been released from the night of her death, and also a wild

amount of conspiracy theories.

People have been acting like amateur sleuths; online Sherlock and Watsons developing

stories which read like cut-price murder mystery novels from a back shelf at WHSmith.

In one video, Twitter users chillingly claim, you can hear Kenneka crying out for help.

In CCTV of her stumbling around the hotel shortly before she apparently entered the

freezer, people have been pointing out shadows and glitches, saying that she wasnt alone.

Its all too easy to make fun of these people, or dismiss them entirely.

But in doing so, we miss some of the deeper implications behind the black community jumping

to find explanations for her death.

People die in mysterious circumstances all the time, but Kenneka is a black teenager

who died under mysterious circumstances in an era of hyper-awareness, especially from

black Twitter and activists in general, about the treatment of black people by the state.

In a twisted way, it reminds me of all the support OJ Simpson and Bill Cosby have been

given, even when people didnt dispute their misdemeanours (to put it lightly).

Think back to March, when a viral Instagram post claimed that 14 black girls went missing

in Washington DC in 24 hours.

Although this proved to be untrue, as some of the girls had been missing for years and

werent even from DC, what the story did bring to the fore was that there is huge disproportionality

when it comes to missing black children in the US.

According to the Black and Missing Foundation, 36.7% of missing people under the age of 17

are black.

This is terrifying, considering black people only make up 13.3% of the US population.

And beyond the figures which are shocking in and of themselves, just as in the UK, a

blonde, blue-eyed child like Madeleine McCann or Ben Needham is going to get far more attention

from the media than a black girl.

As put by activist and writer Shaun King: Thousands and thousands of young black

girls and women are missing all over the country, but most people cant name a single one

of them We dont see primetime television specials on them.

Their images dont become permanent fixtures on Twitter.

Their names dont get hashtags or trending topics.

Missing white woman syndrome is a real problem.

The evidence to our mistreatment is all there.

A recent study from Georgetown University earlier this year revealed that black women

in particular are seen as being less innocent, need less nurturing than white girls, need

to be supported less than white girls, and particularly worrying, know more about sex

than white girls.

We are a demographic that is at a significant disadvantage if we do happen to be exposed

to any bad fortune such as being left wandering the halls of a deserted hotel.

People often dont see us as in need of help; it was rightly highlighted after her

death that Kenneka was reported as being a woman rather than a teen in headlines.

A Chicago woman was found dead inside a hotel freezer about a day after she had gone missing

from a party

The fact of the matter is that when we do die at the hands of the state, people tend

to care less hence ventures Kimberly Crenshaws #SayHerName campaign, launched to bring awareness

to the fact that although black women are routinely killed, raped, and beaten by the

police, their experiences are rarely foregrounded in popular understandings of police brutality.

So the reaction to Kennekas death totally makes sense.

It is in direct opposition to the usual treatment black women receive by the public, the state

and the media.

And while misinformation and wild theories are going to do little to help Kennekas

family get the answers, and perhaps the justice, they deserve, to me at least, some of these

conspiracy theories dont seem that far-fetched.

Her familys statement make one thing clear: the truth has yet to come out.

So what's up? Did you study for the final exams?

How's it going with that?

Everything is bad.

I had a very complicated day. I couldn't concentrate.

Because of the album?

You couldn't compose anything?

No, I had a training with Luna.

With Luna?

How did it go? Did you advance on anything? How are things with you?

Complicated.

But what? Do you miss a connection?

The connection is not a problem at all.

Stop letting me guess. Tell me. What happened?

Do you want to know about what happened before or after the kiss?

What kiss?

Are you back together?

No, in the end, it ended badly.

Matteo, you're telling me that you were kissing and it will end badly.

She doesn't want to be with me.

If she doesn't want to be with you, you wouldn't have kissed.

I think you have to tell her what you really feel.

You know what I did to be with Nina without thinking that we weren't going to be seperated.

Look at me, you have to chance to be with her, don't let it pass you by.

It's not that easy.

She knows very well the worst you can do.

If you really love each other, it can't be that difficult.

We can't allow Gary to do what he wants.

We are the team of Jam & Roller.

Yes, we have to do something like Luna said.

Yes, you're right. We have to do something right now.

And if we talk to Vidia?

Juliana said she was going to talk to them.

We need to find a way to talk to Gary.

But how?

him cope in social situations.

According to Us Magazine, Zayn has a game plan.

He tells the magazine, "Just being straight up.

Just being honest about everything, explaining what it is that makes you feel uncomfortable,

what it is that you're cool with…

And making sure that all of that is in order and everyone's got a clear understanding

of what that is."

The solo artist and former One Direction member has been candid about a variety of his issues,

and now it seems like he's doing better than ever, especially with his relationship

that spoke to me about it, random people, like older people…

They were like 'I really respect you speaking about that, it takes a lot of strength and

confidence in yourself to just be like, 'this is what it is, this is how it was, this is

transfer window as he was touted as a target for Barcelona in the closing stages of the

However, Liverpool refused to do business with the Spanish side and opted to keep Coutinho

at the club beyond the summer.

The 25-year-old has now been restored to the first team under Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool

fans will now be keen to see him hit top form in the coming weeks and months.

And Liverpool striker Mane has talked up the importance of the Reds managing to keep hold

of one of their top players.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN FC, Mane said: "It was not only important to me,

but also to the whole club, that Phil is staying here.

"He is one of our best players, an important player, and we are happy to see him stay with

us."

Coutinho will be expecting to start for Liverpool when the Reds return to Premier League action

on Saturday afternoon with a trip to Leicester City.

The Reds suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss to the Foxes in midweek when they were dumped

out of the League Cup by Craig Shakespeare's side.

Liverpool will then return to Champions League action next week when they take on Spartak

Moscow in Russia.
