Youtube Analysis: How Fast Should A Channel Grow? - Duration: 14:38.
hey everybody if you're a youtube no matter how big you are big or small you will frequently
wonder am i growing at a good rate or am i just spinning my wheels i personally was considering
that for a long time because you want to know if your growth is due to a trend or fad if
you can keep it up and if you should expect that level of return in the future or are
you not getting covered correctly are you not gaining enough subscribers per views on
your videos and the question of views per subs is what i'm here to answer today I'm
using data that I collected from social blade I've done this kind of video before about
how easy it is to make a 50 thousand dollar salary on youtube using data from social blade
and my own finings I recommend you check that out if that is a question whose answer you
want to know but here today we'll be looking at basket of 7 you tubers different types
sizes and ages pewdiepie is here of course because he adds variance food wishes another
old channel not so big but important as well idubbbz which I've reviewed before and got
a lot of dislikes because of my audio quality he's in here as well because almost 5 million
subs is an important data point his style is different from pewdiepie and food wishes
because they upload every day nigahiga is like idubbbz in that respect but he has considerably
more subscribers and is an older channel joseph lincoln he is an upcoming youtube channel
h3h3 productions which gets consistent viewership per day and myself because I am a tiny channel
and most of the people watching are small like me even though big people will benefit
from this knowledge all the data i collected was viewed on 9/17/17 this was done to get
semi-current data but we will also be referencing past data to get a more holistic view about
youtube growth over the years pewdiepies stuff food wishes stuff these numbers are different
from pewdiepies because pewdiepie clickbait which makes his averages inconsistent idubbbz
stuff the older the channel the more disparity joseph lincoln stuff h3h3 productions stuff
even with theier recent controversy over racial slurs their views per day hasn't really slowed
down that much and they are getting new subs even if their old ones are leaving my stuff
it's not constant enough to be used for current data so I'll only include the lifetime numbers
I'm including my self because the way i've grown is typical for most small channels these
are all the total vies per channel divided by total subscribers to get lifetime averages
the average of all this is 167.6 views per sub now to look at youtube as a culture i'm
going to add all the views and subs and divide the mass views by the mass subs to get a window
into what youtube really is we get 234.3 views per sub off of this basket which
I think is pretty accurate one step further we average the two and get a benchmark of
200.1 views per subscriber the optimal range is 167.6 to 234.3 views per sub and
you should shoot for 200.1 views per sub if your content is as good as that which the

so I had this thought what if Jesus had a youtube channel from reading Luke 15
which talks about the parable of the lost sheep and i found it so beautiful
how he values the number one so just imagine Jesus had a channel it was not
very popular yet because he just started and he got a hundred subscribers 99 of
those hundred subscribers were priests or pastors they'd been waiting for Jesus to
come on YouTube for a long time because they've heard a lot about him they've studied
about him and they think that he has come specifically for them and one of
them is a prostitute
she doesn't know anything about Jesus she's just there
okay and maybe through the comments section the other subscribers find out
that this subscriber is what she is and they start putting hate on her and they
start telling her get out of this place you have no right to be here and she
leaves
so Jesus sees that this one person has left his channel and not because he is
vain or anything but because he wants to know what happened he tries to find out
on other social media bear with me okay bear with me I had to put it in a
context that I understood best and I hope you understand it too and he's
looking for her and he's trying to trace her and she is nowhere to be found so he
leaves his home he has to stop uploading for a while basically he ditches the
other subscribers okay all the people who are trying to flatter him trying to
get him to be their friends and whatever he leaves all of them goes after this
one person tries to find out where she is and goes and talks to and asks her why did
you leave and then she tells him this is what happened I don't feel like I'm part
of your team and so I don't think I fit in and honestly I'm I'm a prostitute
what could I have to do with you you are perfect in every way
but Jesus as you can imagine he not only takes her out of her prostitute home
wherever she's working but he goes and employs her in a proper institution
where she can be safe and where she's happy doing the work that she's doing
and a good home with people who can take care of her and look out for her at
least and when she comes back and subscribes back to his channel
regardless of the other people Jesus goes kind of crazy
he throws a huge party and he invites everyone not only the subscribers but
everyone he knows because this girl is now back and safe and he's just so happy
of course this isn't a perfect illustration but it is kind of how Jesus gives value
to one person I think we in society especially me have totally lost the
value of one we only give value to large numbers now if you feel like you are not
in that category then ask yourself say one day you had an opportunity to reach
10,000 people would you feel more satisfied coming back home than on
another day where you were able to help a friend and change her life or his life
which one would you weigh more I mean if you're honest you probably say that you
would feel much better when you serve a lot more people and if not then I am so
glad for you please let's be friends
but the point is this and you can read it in
Luke 15 it says there's more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents
and returns to God than over 99 others who are righteous and haven't
strayed away now that's a little bit strange but it's really cool
Jesus is
more happy and excited to get back one person and put him or her in a safe
place than at 99 people who have been good all their lives and are the most
righteous people in the world and they know everything this is what excites him
more
so I bet if he values one so much he would be as excited to go and talk to
one person as talking to 10,000 people and this is not to say that
10,000 has less value than one it's just to show how much Jesus loves one
each
person has the same value and together Jesus can look at them be compassionate
for them not only because they're 10,000 people but because he loves each one for
who they are
that's why the whole Bible is written so directly and personally to
each one
I used to think man how can it be that Jesus would love me when
he came tell the whole world that means
like he may not know me but no he knew me
and he knew you and that's why he came to die for you and that's why there are
all these stickers saying Jesus loves you not Jesus loves the world Jesus loves
each and every individual person
I know it's kind of mind-blowing
not only does he value you and I but he will bring the entire angel army and
rejoice together and sing when one of us has kind of lost it a bit but comes back
and is okay and so what this parable from Luke 15 has taught me is to not place
value on big numbers but to place value where it is deserved and that is in the
individual
so I should be happy singing to one person as when I'm singing to 10,000
people and you should be happy having one customer or one client or one
student as opposed to ten or a hundred or a thousand
even if you have one
friend treasure that friend like he or she is the most valuable thing that you will
ever have because that is true
so I hope that warmed your heart it sure warmed

Hello everyone, welcome to Baozi & Hana's Makeup Channel
This episode will be a back to school makeup
Since it is meant for students, all the products will be more affordable
And it will be a fresh and natural look
It is a look that everyone can try, even for beginners
This is a really simple and light makeup
If you don't like the thick makeup i always do please do try out this makeup
Why did i choose to do this light makeup?
Few days ago I received a comment saying
" Hana, I would like to comment, on your, thick makeup, cries "
So this will be a lightweight makeup look
You can't say this is a heavy makeup! If it really is
Then you are better off bare faced!
Let's get started
For the lens, since it's a student look, we should go for a natural ones than those enlarging lens
But as my sclera ratio is higher, I chose a slightly enlarging one
Your look is halfway done after putting on lens!
Next for primer, you don't want to fix your makeup in school right
We will be using this popular primer from Sofina
Everyone should know this primer right?
This has a very dewy effect and it's oil controlling, suitable for oily skin
Don't use a primer if you have dry skin
You can consider a moisturing lotion, but I used to called it primer
It is a habit since young
After applying it, your face will slightly look more bright, we can proceed with the foundation
Using this Wet N Wild foundation, you can get it under RMB50
I'm using the shade Soft Beige, a middle tone colour, not very light
The makeup base should be lighter so I will spread it on my hand before lightly apply it on my face
This shade isn't very light, I used to like it light
The amount I press is also a lot lesser, using a beauty blender to apply
It is easier to achieve a naked flawless look with beauty blender
Using the remaining product, I will apply it on my neck
Done with the foundation, I'll zoom in for you to see the result
As this is a lightweight foundation, it can't cover acne scars
But the point is the quality is quite good for this price (RMB50)
I think this is more suitable for oily skin
If you have dry skin I would recommend BB cushion
I think I will get dissed if I say BB cushion
I don't really like BB cushion
Those who have oily skin most probably won't like BB cushion

As we are applying a light base makeup, we have to roll it out first

I'm using our Flower Knows concealer brush

In my previous videos, concealer are used more for the after makeup effect
So it feels more heavy
This concealer has good concealing ability but it's slightly dry
Conceal these acne scars
And next to the nostrils that reddens easily
Today we won't be using concealer for highlights, it will look too heavy
For today's makeup, we're aiming for: light, thin and transparent
So, we will set our makeup with very fine and natural looking setting powder
I'm using this setting powder from Canmake, you can see that it's already…...you know what I mean right?
Use this small brush from Flower Knows
Not only is this setting powder light, it's also transparent, has pretty packaging, plus it's cheap
So students hurry up and get your hands on it, pat it onto the parts that we concealed
Pat it in will do, apply some on the neck too

Let's hurry and draw eyebrows
The eyebrow pencil that I'm using today is a silver tube from Flamingo
It was super cheap! Super cheap! That's why I bought it
If you don't really know how to draw eyebrows! If you are a beginner at makeup
I recommend you to use brow powder from KATE
What kind of people would recommend you to use eyebrow pencil, those who don't really have eyebrows
Or like me, who does cosplay, I trimmed my eyebrows till this thin
The eyebrows will be too thin after drawing and it won't look nice
At times like this, you need an eyebrow pencil to outline your brow shape
Today I want to draw straight eyebrows, why? Because it's easy to draw

Alright, the eyebrows part ends here, now we are going to do double eyelid
That's right, I'm gonna use glue to stick double eyelid, no choice, sigh
Still using the double eyelid glue from Koji
You have to each side one by one
I'm not really good with double eyelid glue either, yet I'm teaching you guys, really lacking confidence
Wait for it to be half transparent

Although it's not that thick, but it looks more natural
I think those who goes to school probably won't have time for this step, I spent about half an hour
If you are gonna do it for half an hour, you don't have to leave the house and go for class
Because you will be late, you wouldn't make it, so might as well skip it since one class session is already ending
You might not even do it well and go crazy
But I don't recommend you to use double eyelid tape, because it's very obvious
Going to class with double eyelid tape is like telling everyone

The school use eyeshadow has to be lowkey, not striking, definitely no shimmer eyeshadows
Ok, we will dab on this colour first, this pinky orange colour
Use this eyeshadow brush from Flower Knows
Apply it widely on your eyelid
Do not use eyeshadow with high colour opacity
It's better to use ones with lower opacity like this pinky orange
Use this side of the brush for bottom eyeshadow
Alright, we are done with one layer, doesn't it look natural

Then use this brush and dab on this dark chocolate colour
I used to apply on the back part of the eyelid right, but not for today
Apply it near to the bottom of eyelid for dark colour eyeshadow
We are not gonna extend our eyes too long for today
There's a huge white line here, please ignore it, you can't see it once I open my eyes
Using the same chocolate colour eyeshadow, apply at the one third part of the outer corner of the eye
Next use this beige colour
To brighten the inner corner of the eye
Then use it to draw fake eyebag, push it out
If you don't have any, just draw one line across the bottom of the eye
Next use this brow brush that we usually use to draw eyebrows
Use it to dab on this dark chocolate colour, it's this dark chocolate colour, not that, that's too dark
Now let's draw the fake eyebag, do the same thing to push it out
Then we are done with fake eyebags
Next we are still gonna use this brow brush and we are finally using this darkest eyeshadow
Use it to replace eyeliner, not really replacing but replacing the outer eyeliner
Draw it on the bottom of eyelid
Pull it out longer, following the shape of your eye
Then use this pencil brush to blend the egdes
Next use this Love Liner eyeliner pencil for inner eyeliner
For the outer corner of the eye, you don't have to lengthen anymore because we already have eyeshadow on
There~ We're done with eyeshadow and eyeliner here
Except for my eyelid glue that looks kinda awful…everything else is bearable
Remember to use a blending brush and blend it
For the eyelash curler I'm using this one from Muji
After curling let's use mascara, using the one from Majolica Majorca

For school if you want to apply mascara, you have to use the lash expander
For lash king it smudges easily and also easy to have spider legs
Next let's comb our eyelashes
Ok, we are done with eye makeup!
The most troublesome part is done, we have to speed up because applying mascara took another thirty minutes

Best to use the light pink one, not this but this
And then you smile
It will look as though you didn't apply makeup
It will give people a feel of shyness
Like I didn't apply blush, it's because you look really handsome today, so I'm a bit attracted so I blushed

MELAKA FAMOUS FOOD- Nyonya LAKSA & CENDOL (Halal) | Food and Travel Channel | Melaka, Malaysia - Duration: 12:45.
Hi I'm Thomas and I'm Sheena and we're Chasing a Plate today we're in Malacca
Malaysia and we're so excited to be exploring a new state we are here for
one week and we are going to be eating up a storm
so we're starting with Nyonya laksa and cendol, we're starving, let's eat!
We've come to Jonker 88 a halal eatery which is famous for its various types of laksa as
well as cendol, I am so excited to be trying this we haven't even had
much laksa in the seven weeks that we've been in Malaysia so it's time
to end that drought
We've ordered a Nyonya assam laksa and a Baba
laksa they both look so good so I keep saying Nyonya. Nyona is the type
of food that is a mix of Malay and Chinese so the Baba Nyonya are the
descendants of the Chinese immigrants who then intermarried with local Malay so
this Baba assam laksa or Nyonya assam laksa just looks filled with treasures, what can I see
there's prawns, there's shredded cucumber, red onion
rings, there's half a boiled egg, there's tofu skin so fu chuk,
there are fish balls and then there are these sort of stubby white rice noodles
and then of course that broth. So assam laksa is made up of mackerel, so the fish,
oily and quite strong fish and then assam or sourness comes from
tamarind so you can see the top of this broth has like a really thin film
of red chilli oil or chilli spice I'm gonna give that a go
Wow that has a real hit of chilli, it is super sour but it's really good and
you can really taste that fish in there. I'm going to get in and try
some of these noodles, this is such a refreshing breakfast
mmmm those noodles are quite chewy and they're really slippery in the mouth
I got a real hit of raw onion in that bite, that's so good, I'm gonna give
this fried bean curd skin a go, huge piece
it doesn't have much flavour but you can taste that tofu and it
just adds to the... I've got laksa soup all over my face... but it really adds to the whole texture of the dish
this is really good, if you are into
strong flavours then this might be the one to order because
the flavour of that mackerel, the fish really comes through in that soup so
it's a really powerful bowl of laksa that is tasty!
I'm gonna try the Baba laksa, what a way to start the day so it's got rice
noodles again but much thinner than the ones in Sheena's dish, it's got
the same tofu skin which has sort of been fried so it's crispy on the top
but on the bottom it's soaked up all this broth which looks epic. It's got the half egg,
it's got cucumbers, it's got fresh red onion in there, there's tofu cubes which
I don't think Sheena's had no that's different to Sheena's and so the broth in
this one is much more of a curry broth, it's thicker as well and will have a coconut
base you can really see like the colour that's just so rich and creamy looking
but let's try the broth by itself
Wow it's got a great spice it tastes like a Thai red curry if you want that as a
comparison, it's so thick in the mouth it coats your mouth but not in a fatty or
oily way it just coats you with this flavour burst I'm going to have a little bit more
broth as that is so good, oh man
there;s actually a little bit of sourness - not sure what that would be coming from
let's just try and get a combo, woah it's got a bit of spice, it's getting me at the back of the throat
it's really good throw. I'm just gonna try the noodles actually
oh I think Sheena said hers were like soft but had a little bit of bite, these are the
same that's really unusual in a dish like this because normally the noodles
are in the hot liquid for so long that they just kind of soften right up and
become very squishy these have got real texture which is great I'm gonna grab
one of these tofu puffs because they are just filled with the liquid they've really
sucked everything up and absorbed it. Oh wow, I've got this all over my face too. This is just
too good, the puff just explodes with this sauce this liquid, there's prawns
hiding in here, this egg looks so creamy this is one hell of a breakfast what a
way to kick off your day, it's got the spice it's got some little bit of
sweetness it's got a tang, it's full of ingredients, I love this, absolutely love it
whoa that's pretty fiery my nose is running it's sort of got hotter and
hotter and built on me, so good though. Which is your favourite? I like your one
better. Same this really packs a flavour punch, this curry laksa it a little bit
more easygoing but if you're after bold flavours this this is the one to order, for sure,
it's amazing!
time for a bowl of cendol to soothe that chilli burn, they
have a huge list of different types of cendol but I think we're just gonna
go for classic, so plain Baba cendol
oh my gosh my mind is blown I have never ever seen a cendol look like
this before it looks absolutely spectacular
so the uncle just shaved a mound of ice and it looks really finely shaved he
poured a bit of santan or coconut milk over it, there's green cendol noodles so
they're like pandan flavoured rice noodles so both the dish is called
cendol as well as the noodles being called cendol
and then there's this really thick, treacle -looking gula melaka which is coconut palm syrup on
the top, I have never seen anything like it it's so thick and
I'm just lost for words I just have to try it, oh it's also got kidney beans as
well normally when you get a cendol the shaved ice is
wallowing in coconut milk so there's more coconut milk versus ice
but this is just something else let's just give it a go
that gula melak is so thick it's almost to the point of burnt tasting, like
when you caramelise sugar and you just take it right to the edge, it's got that
beautiful burnt flavour, really caramel-y, it's so refreshing and I like that it's just a huge chunk of
shaved ice it hasn't just all melted really quickly that is so good, Thomas
get in. This is incredible I've already tried some and it is mind-blowing
and it's not actually that sweet it's just got that really burnt taste like
Sheena talked about this is so so good and we've just made an executive
decision because we've heard there's another cendol place in town which is even better than
this one and we thought we've got to compare these back-to-back so we're
gonna finish these and then we're gonna go for another cendol to see what we
think of it and remember always down below we have all the details of where

Melaka town is so beautiful it's reminding us a lot of Penang which we've
visited in the past all these amazing old heritage buildings it is a World
Heritage Town a UNESCO World Heritage Town and it really shows it's so pretty on
the walk here we saw the river and there have been like tree-lined streets we've seen
beautiful sculpture but we have now arrived at the next cendol spot so
let's go check out another cendol
next cendol has arrived this one is exactly the same style, so much less
coconut milk then we are used to and that really thick gula melaka was just
doused over-the-top quite a big spoon of it but it's so thick it just sort of
sits where it's placed and I'm just gonna dig in because I think I saw her
put something else in this one yeah look there's these little like pink jelly balls so
it's got the kidney beans, the cendol noodles and this little pink jelly ball
thing again. Lets just get a big spoon of it got a bit of everything
oh, so refreshing this one is sweeter than the last one we
had, but not nearly as burnt, it's sort of the same sweetness
but the other one had a real burnt taste whereas this one the the sugar flavour is there more let's
try some more I'm just gonna have this basically the soup now because the ice
is melting the coconut milk
oh and the way the gula melaka mixes through it and you can see as you mix it it gets
darker and darker in colour because the, everything combines and that gula melaka
really starts to take over the dish. This is so good, I'm in two minds still about
which one's best but I reckon we should dive in, eat these Sheena before they
completely melt and then we'll come back to you with a conclusion at the end
they're really good
Cendol war has finished they have strong cendol game here and I really don't
know it's like a big punch punch for me because they were both incredible and
pretty rare for me but I'm gonna call it equal I love them both one was sweeter
the second one was sweeter the first one was more burnt but they were both phenomenal so
if you're in Melaka try them both as well and try them back-to-back like
we did, they're not that filling because it's mainly ice so you can totally just
eat them side by side like that really good and the laksa, phenomenal
I reckon daily cendol eating is gonna become a thing because it is so
refreshing and it is so tasty but we're gonna be eating up a storm while we're in
Malacca there are gonna be a ton of food videos that we'll be uploading so make
