Ivan Perisic to Manchester United: Club can't delay if they want deal - Italian reporter

At least that's the verdict of Rai Sport journalist Marco Civoli, who spoke out in an interview with Tutto Mercato Web Radio.

Starsport understands Jose Mourinho wants Perisic at Old Trafford next season and that talks have been ongoing all summer. Negotiations are yet to have a positive outcome for United though with Inter demanding big money to let him leave.

Civoli has now warned that the Serie A giants are unlikely to sanction a deal for Perisic if it's left until the end of the transfer window. Manchester United transfer target Ivan Perisic joined Inter Milan from Wolfsburg in 2015.

He told Tutto Mercato Web Radio: [Inter boss, Luciano] Spalletti seems to be the real purchase of the Nerazzurri, given their results in pre-season. This summer, with people in charge, the situation is completely different.

It is necessary to analyse the Perisic question, because such a player can not be sold on 31 August.

It was embarrassing in some ways last season [when Inter finished 7th in Serie A] because he has extraordinary quality with a particular character. If he is to move, Spalletti will find a suitable replacement..

Manchester United have been in talks with Inter Milan over Ivan Perisic all summer.

With no agreement in place for Perisic, United were linked with a move for Gareth Bale. And Mourinho suggested he would bid for the Real Madrid ace if he wasn't involved in last night's UEFA Super Cup clash.

Bale started the match in Skopje though and Mourinho conceded afterwards that his hopes of signing the Welshman were over.

I think everyone will have fun watching the different relationships

It will be a very interesting MV

So then, Bba-ing

I'm totally not the popular type...

It's burdensome (the character)

I play Sungjin's long-time friend

My character feels bad for SJ because

Sungjin, hwaiting!

One day, Day6's photo will be pasted on the tables too

I'll work hard for this dream!

Ah you're filming me?

[Hyungs literally falling for DW ㅋㅋ]

The August title track uses a Fuzz tone [t/n: distorted, blurred effect on the electric guitar]

Which is a type of rock music we've been wanting to try

So I hope you can listen out for those parts

And the lyrics talk about what can I do if I like you

Even if you pick me up then put me down, even if you push me away,

I still like you. There's nothing I can do about it

Please listen to it, bye

How Revision Cosmetic Earlobe Surgery can be Done, and Restoring Volume in Thinned Earlobes - Duration: 6:16.

Thank you for your question.

You submitted two photos and you're asking a question about the possibility of having

earlobe reduction in light of having undergone otoplasty 15 years ago with an earlobe reduction

at that time.

And you state that you feel that one ear is still a little bit pointier and different

sized compared to the other the other ear.

So you want to know if it's possible to have an earlobe reduction to accomplish this.

Well, I can certainly give you my guidance as to how I approach patients like yourself

in my practice.

A little bit of background, I'm a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship-trained oculofacial

plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

I have been in practice in Manhattan and Long Island for over 20 years.

Otoplasty as well as earlobe procedures are pretty common in our practice.

And this type of question comes up in a variety of ways whether it's isolated or in light

of a face lifting procedure for example.

So to begin with, just to go over the original principles of otoplasty which has some relevance

with this question in terms of the earlobe, basically we look at the ear in thirds.

We look at the relationship of the upper, middle and lower third and look at the relative

prominence of the earlobe.

And what I would want to ask you and of course, this is in the absence of a physical exam,

is do you feel that the pointiness of the earlobe makes it look that much longer.

And a lot of times, people, as everyone gets older, their earlobes start to thin out a

little bit.

And when they thin out, they become a little bit floppier and thinner and maybe slightly

longer in appearance.

But interestingly, volume correction in the earlobe such as use of fillers can actually

improve the volume of the earlobe.

Now that being said, as far as the basic premise of your question, can additional earlobe surgery

be performed in light of previous earlobe surgery?

The answer is yes.

You can undergo some type of earlobe reduction and there are a variety of ways and there

are different approaches.

And essentially the goal is basically to create a contour that looks natural and also is consistent

with the symmetry with the other ear.

But also, I would suggest to you to look at the relative potential benefit of this procedure.

You know, one of the things that I help my patients understand every day in our practice

is to understand that the human body in the face is naturally asymmetric.

And so when you think of allocation of time and resources and you look at a situation

like your earlobes, you may want to ask yourself is this an issue when it comes to wearing

jewelry, is this an issue in terms of the appearance when you look straight into the

mirror or is this an area that you are focused on because this is an area that particularly

is of concern to you.

A lot of times, our patients, I help them try to reframe how they look at themselves

when they're concerned about a single area.

It's a psychological reality that we look at ourselves very critically and certain areas

that really concern us start to get amplified or magnified.

Now this is part of a normal consultation discussion.

The procedure itself is typically performed under local anesthesia.

And after the patient has agreed to what the ultimate goal is and the design is drawn,

it's done under local anesthesia and it takes not that long to perform it, depends

on the degree and extent of the procedure.

So meet with qualified, experienced cosmetic surgeons and see what your options are.

Again, look at the ideas again of not just reduction but also about volume correction

and sometimes, you can do both certainly.

If the earlobe is thin and long and then you actually reduce it and create a nice shape,

you may find that a little bit of volume also makes the earlobe really nice.

So I hope that was helpful, I wish you the best of luck and thank you for your question.

'Origami Organs' can potentially regenerate tissues - Duration: 2:41.

So we've created a material we call tissue papers that's very thin like

phyllo dough made up of biological tissues and organs. We can switch out the

tissue that we use to make the tissue paper, so whether that be derived from

liver, or muscle or even ovary, we can switch it out very easily and make a

paper out of any tissue or organ.

A lot of people don't want to buy kidneys, livers or hearts to eat,

so what the butchers do is just put them in bins in

the corner for very cheap. And that's where we go and we collect our five, 10 hearts

or four or five livers and kidneys. And that's what we're use for the "de-cell" (decellularization)

process and make tissue papers.

So what this is showing is this heart piece here has been de-celled

one day, two day, three day, four day and five day. And you see it becomes clear.

This is a cow ovary. So it's about the same size as a human

ovary. After you take out all the cells in the water, this is what ovaries are

like and it's really what all our issues and organs would be like.

So we take our decellularized tissue or organ and we grind it into a fine powder.

And it's that powder which we use to make the tissue papers.

Because it has components that are found in natural tissues and organs, the cells will

recognize it once it's implanted.

What I've learned working here at

Northwestern a lot, especially in conjunction with Feinberg, working with

other surgeons, is that they care about how materials feel and handle. So as I

was picking this up, I was like, "I like how this feels,

it handles nice, it's made of bioactive materials. There could be something here."

Ultimately we'd want to create some type of patch or a very sophisticated

Band-Aid in order to regenerate damaged parts.

The follicles cells, or the ovarian cells, grew very well on it and they were

able to produce estrogen and so we think using this material in combination with

their ovarian cells could restore estrogen function.

It really expands what we can do when it comes to creating synthetic environments or synthetic

materials for tissue engineering applications.

Why You Can't Ignore these Volatile, Expensive, Exciting Stocks - Duration: 3:07.

Is it time to take some profits in Fang stocks that's of course Facebook, Amazon,

Netflix and alphabet or Google here now is Alex Kenjeev, the president of O'Leary

ventures and Alex you work closely with Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary who has a slew

of ETFs in these spaces. What's your take on Fang, especially as we see this

rotation out of technology stocks and into some of the other sectors of the

market? I think we're going to see some volatility, quite frankly, but I wouldn't

let that spook you. The reality is these stocks are really hard to get away from

if you're interested in you know staying on top of what's coming. Because these

stocks are at the center of so many exciting trends whether it's artificial

intelligence, self-driving cars, streaming videos. I mean talk about those things.

Absolutely you know a good example would be Google right so they've got their

core ad business which is great and they're being very defensive about that

doubling down on its spinning off some assets that are non core but then

they've also got their deep mind artificial intelligence platform. Now

that may be five or six years away from being a really meaningful component of

their earnings but boy do you not want to be left out of that when it comes. And

we had Tesla CEO Elon Musk over the weekend sort of sound the alarm on

artificial intelligence. Basically saying that hey government has to step in to

kind of determine who owns this space. Well that might be interesting I guess

that's a whole other conversation but as an investor you know regardless of where

you land on what do we do about it. One thing I don't want to do is not be

part of that when it does come. And with regard to Netflix at a p/e of over 200 I

mean is there a point where investors start to say what's next for Netflix

because they behave so many subscribers it's hard to see where the growth comes

from. Netflix is such an interesting company because on the one hand they've

really become almost a hegemon. People have barely noticed as this happened but

they've now reached the point where more people subscribe to Netflix than Comcast

and even if you look globally more they're creeping up to the point where

it's going to be more on Netflix than on kind of all cable combined and when that

happens, where do you go. But then on the other hand yeah a lot of it's priced in

already. 200 times earnings and so I think the question is how much Netflix

do you want to hold. Again I wouldn't want to be left out of that stock

because it is a recurring revenue. People are very addicted to it. Yeah it does

cost money to produce original content but America has shown for decades that

it can export content all over the world so there

is a lot of scalability there at least in my view. And then it's interesting

with Facebook you actually say that because the company has no debt they're

not lever to Fed rate hikes which I thought was pretty funny. It's true. I

mean we are in a rising rate environment. We've seen a rate hike last month. People

easy to forget that there's at least one or two more hikes to come in the next 12

months. Meanwhile Canada is raising rates. European Union is looking at raising

rates sometime in the near future and so to some extent you want to ask

which of my stocks are going to be hardest hit by this and of course those

with low or no debt like Facebook would be technically agnostic. Yeah although

these tech companies have so much money it's almost like well who cares if the

Fed raises rates. To some extent yeah but as an investor you don't want to overpay

just because you love a company doesn't mean you love it at any price right. All

right Alex Kenjeev we'll leave it there. Thank you so

much for coming back with us. Thank you I'm Scott Gamm and you're watching The

Street.

How Much Protein Can Your Body Absorb Per Meal? - Duration: 5:06.

How much protein can you absorb in one sitting?

One of the ongoing claims in the fitness industry is that your body can only absorb a limited

amount of protein at a time.

The most popular of all is that you can only absorb 30 grams per meal.

Now, before we go any further, let's dispel this absorption limit right away.

The body needs amino acids for virtually all physiological functions, thus, will absorb

almost all of the protein you consume.

Heck, the small intestine alone will utilize roughly half of all the amino acids in your

body.

Factor in protein needs of all other organs, the notion that the body suddenly stops absorbing

protein after 30 grams is completely misguided.

But, the interest IS in building muscle.

Even if our body can absorb all the protein, how much of it will actually go to muscle

growth?

And this is perhaps where the bro science caught on.

Two studies in the matter did conclude a potential limit to the rate of muscle protein synthesis.

One found that, after a resistance training bout, consuming 40 grams of whole egg protein

in one meal did not stimulate muscle protein synthesis more than 20 grams for active males.

In another study, 30 grams of protein stimulated protein synthesis as much as 90 grams of protein

in one meal.

But, there are glaring limitations to both studies.

In the first one, subjects only performed 12 sets of leg training, which might not be

enough to optimally stimulate exercise-induced protein synthesis signaling.

On top of that, 20 grams of protein through 6 meals adds up to only 120 grams of protein

per day, which goes against the heavy research showing that greater muscle growth is achieved

with much larger protein intakes.

The second study simply falls short on overall protein.

At only 30 and 90 grams per day, we're looking at well below the needs of someone that trains

regularly, especially larger men.

Moreover, both were only single trial studies.

Taking a look at a 2-week study, we see that eating 80% of daily protein in one sitting

increased protein synthesis more so than spreading out protein evenly across 4 meals for elderly

women.

A follow-up study found no differences using a similar protocol for young women.

Considering that both were done with women and no resistance training, suffice to say,

active lifters, especially men, will have a greater protein demand.

But, let's say that there is an actual 30-gram limit to protein synthesis.

It still ignores the other important part to the muscle building equation: protein breakdown.

When we look at the research in terms of protein breakdown, we start piecing the whole picture

together.

A 2013 study comparing 70 grams of protein per meal versus 40 grams of protein, with

total daily protein equal, found, although the 70-gram group only had a slight increase

in protein synthesis, it significantly reduced the rate of muscle breakdown.

There was also one key difference in this study.

In the two first studies showing no benefit to eating more protein per meal, subjects

were in a fasted state and consumed protein with nothing else.h

In this study, as well as the previous studies on women, subjects consumed their protein

as part of a mixed whole meal, like the way that we all usually eat.

Mixed meals provide important changes that might drastically improve protein absorption.

One is that, in the presence of fats and protein, the hormone cholecystokinin kicks in and rapidly

slows down gastric emptying, giving your digestive tract more time to absorb all the nutrients.

Also, with the presence of carbs, insulin levels will rise dramatically.

Insulin drives not only energy fueling, but also signals for protein synthesis and inhibits

protein breakdown, shifting the body into a complete anabolic state, optimal for muscle

growth.

And if we keep combing the research, we'll find no differences in net nitrogen balance,

a measurement indicative of protein use in the body, regardless of the amount of protein

consumed per meal.

And all of this information before even discussing research on intermittent fasting.

Long story short, IF'ers eating all of their protein in a short amounth of time, also had

no significant differences in terms of muscle composition than subjects on a standard diet.

So, let's revisit the question: Is there a protein limit for muscle growth?

Yes, but it's much higher than the mythical 30 grams, and quite possibly higher than any

practical per-meal consumption.

Best practice is to simply have protein in all of your main meals and make sure you meet

your total daily protein needs.

End of the day, this is more of the constant myths in the fitness industry.

And like every other myth, there's nothing to see here.

15 Eerie Beach Discoveries We Still Can't Explain - Duration: 7:08.

• For most of us, the weirdest thing we'll see on the beach is when Grandad drops his

towel.

But what real mysteries have been uncovered in the sands?

Will we ever explain how some of these things got there?

Here's the fifteen most bizarre discoveries ever made on a beach.

15 – George's Island • In the 19th century, sailors used to stop

and rest on George's Island, off the coast of Canada.

• One day in 1876, a ship hit trouble nearby and the crew bailed out and headed for shore.

Only one of the five survived to tell the tale, explaining to the fishermen who found

him that their lifeboat had smashed on the rocks.

• However, a few weeks later, three headless bodies were found near the beach, along with

two empty tents.

A fourth man was discovered later with what looked like axe marks in his skull.

The survivor was never traced.

14 – Gold Nugget • Vincent Thurkettle discovered the biggest

gold nugget ever found in the UK, on the beaches of Wales in 2016

• It's thought to belong to a haul of about £120 million from a ship called the

Royal Charter that sank in 1859.

• Vincent's nugget, worth about £50,000 wasn't exactly an accidental find though;

he'd spent about 6 weeks hunting for seven years in a row so he's basically earnt an

annual salary.

13 – Whales stranded • When biologist Vreni Haussermann flew

a chartered flight over Patagonia in Chile, she was there to study a variety of life.

What she didn't expect to find was the largest mass whale death ever seen.

• 337 whales were found washed up in the fjords, with many of them already very decayed

so they'd obviously been there for some time.

• The cause of death is unknown but some other mass whale deaths have been due to a

bloom of toxic microorganisms that can occur naturally in the oceans.

12 – Salish Sea Feet • Another creepy mystery on the Canadian

coast now, and part of the US coast too.

On the beaches of the Salish Sea, almost 20 human feet have been discovered over a period

of ten years.

• For the most part, they are right feet, although a few pairs have been found.

A lot of the feet had decayed in a way that made them very hard to identify but it's

thought that they are from a variety of sources.

It's also natural for the feet to detach if a body is in the water for some time.

• Some feet came still in sneakers and are thought to be from victims of the 2004 tsunami,

having washed across the ocean.

Other are from local suicides.

11 – Nuclear waste • A quiet seaside town on the south coast

of the UK was understandably alarmed when they heard that traces of Strontium 90, a

highly radioactive substance, had been found on the beach.

• Although the levels were well below anything dangerous, it's not what you want to hear

when you live 3 miles from the Sizewell nuclear power plant.

• The traces could be from the recent shutdown of one of the reactors.

It could also be from some other source, such as the Fukushima or Chernobyl disasters.

10 – Spanish Coins • The Schmitt family are professional treasure

hunters and they finally hit a major payday in 2015 when they found a million dollars'

worth of old Spanish gold coins, just off the beaches of Florida.

• In their haul was 51 coins, 12 metres of gold chain and a specially commissioned

coin made for King Felipe V. • And if you want a bit of booty of your

own, the find is from a whole fleet that went down in 1715 and it's estimated there's

still almost half a billion dollars down there.

9 – Oil Tanker • A whole oil tanker washed up on a beach

in Liberia but all of the crew and the life boats had gone.

The ship was registered in Panama but it's not known what happened to the crew.

• Pirates operate in the area but since oil prices have dropped, these tankers have

become much less of a target.

• It was also speculated that the captain might not have had enough money to pay the

crew so they all just bailed.

8 – Abandoned car • Police were called in Sydney, Australia

when an expensive Maserati was found abandoned on a popular beach.

• It turns out the owner was just nearby and had got the car, worth around $250,000,

stuck in the sand.

He'd then played some golf and had a swim.

• Police decided he needed to go to a local hospital to get checked out, suspecting that

his comments about a recent break up might mean he was having a small break down.

7 – Cave beach • At the start of the 20th century, the

Mexican government carried out weapons testing on the Marieta islands, off the west coast.

• One bomb test collapsed the rock in a large circle.

This created one of the most unique beaches in the world where there is now a narrow tunnel,

letting in the crystal blue water, and a perfect white sandy beach, hidden in a circle of rock.

• It's now known as Love Beach and has become a popular tourist hotspot, for anyone

who can get there.

6 – Rubber Ducks • In 1992, a huge shipping crate full of

yellow bath-time rubber ducks, washed overboard somewhere in the Atlantic.

There were 29,000 • While adding more plastic to the ocean

is never a good thing, the ducks have actually proved incredibly useful for science since

they showed us the paths of ocean currents as the ducks ended up washing ashore all over

the world.

• They've been found on beaches on the east coast of the US, Chile, the UK, Australia

and Iceland.

• They were so helpful in fact, that scientist were offering $50 for any discovered

5 –Marine massacre • In late 2016, the beaches of Nova Scotia,

Canada, were suddenly filled with beached animals.

There was a huge variety, with everything from seals to lobsters, starfish and a variety

of fish.

• The cause is still unknown but the most likely is some kind of seismic movement that

created an earthquake or released a pocket of poisonous gas.

4 – Long Island Serial Killer • A number of bodies were found in burlap

sacks, along Gilgo Beach in the state of New York, as well as other areas nearby.

• They are believed to be down to a serial killer who mainly targeted sex workers from

the website Craigslist.

This has given the unidentified killer the nickname The Craigslist Ripper, as well as

the Long Island Serial Killer • Ten bodies were found from 2010 and another

6 may also tie in to the case.

3 – Dildos • Martin Kellehe was out walking his dogs

on the seashore in Ireland when he came across 2 dildos.

• However, this wasn't the first time, he'd also seen some appear the year before.

The small fishing port town seems an unlikely destination for an outdoor sex party.

• Martin said he rang his wife when he found them, but that she told him she wasn't interested.

2 – Orange goo • In 2011, the shores of Alaska started

turning a very unusual colour.

A mysterious orange goo collected in huge banks on the beaches.

• It was first thought to be the eggs of crustaceans, with the fat inside causing the

orange colour.

• It's now believed to be a fungus called Rust but analysis has been difficult and it

may be a new species.

1 –Monatuk Monster • One of the creepiest discoveries was at

Montauk, New York in 2008.

A carcass was found, about the size of an average dog, but it didn't look like any

known animal.

• It was named the Montauk Monster and the only evidence are photographs, the body was

never examined.

• Most experts think it was either a hoax or possible a slightly decomposed racoon.

How to Make a Duct Tape Can Coozy | Sophie's World - Duration: 7:19.

hi I'm Sophie and welcome to my world well summer is here and it's the perfect

time to make your very own duct tape can cozy and I'm going to teach you how to

make one right now for this project you're going to need duct tape an exacto

knife or scissors ruler work surface and the soda can that you're going to be

using and if you like stickers take three pieces of four and a half inch

long tape take the first piece and lay it lay it sticky side up I'm going to

take my second piece and lay it half on half off

and my third piece half on half off flip it over and fold

over the sticky sides to seal this and make this into a really sturdy strong

piece of duct tape fabric you know put that off to the side and now I'm going

to be using five pieces that are nine inches long basically doing the same

thing here I'm going to take my first piece lay it down

my second piece I'm going to overlap by about half an inch I'm going to flip

these two pieces over the first thing I'm going to do is take my third piece

of tape and this piece I'm going to lay right straight through the middle right

across the middle of that seam and then I'm going to take the other two pieces

and do the half on half off technique

half on half off on the top and half on half off on the bottom so that I can

flip this over and fold these edges over sealing it in and making again a very

nice strong piece of duct tape fabric

the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to add a piece of tape right here

I'm going to make this about three inches long and I'm going to just trim a

tiny little bit off the side so that I can lay this piece of tape along the

width here of my strap about halfway in here I'm going to bring this up about an

inch

seal that down and then I'm going to add another piece of tape right over top

flip it over snip that tiny little piece there and then I'm going

to seal this as well once again I'm going to do exactly what I did before

which is I'm going to cut my piece of tape but I'm going to trim a tiny a

little bit off that slide there just to make sure it fits within the sides of my

piece of tape there my fabric there we go so it fits nice and neat there no

overhang now I'm going to need my can and I'm also going to need a piece of

tape ready and this piece of tape needs to be the size of this edge a little

teeny bit in from that I'm going to put that right there on the

side so I'm ready for it and I'm going to cut one more piece of tape with that

little trim here that's going to go on the strap here alright now we're ready

to put this can together so take your can place it right there at the base and

fold this up now what you don't want to do is inset it you want it to be right

at the edge there right there so that it fits nice and snug then you can bring

this around pull up your strap so that when you

bring this around you can hold this with your finger here hold this part with

your thumb you just wrap in this around

you want to make sure it's nice and snug right there and then you bring the

other edge around nice and snug

there we go you should have a little bit of overlap

you can lay it down at this point just to make sure that you get it nice and

straight there we go and then remember that piece of tape that we had set aside

we lay that over top we can slip this out of here seal that off and then if we

want to make sure that it's nice and secure which I always do I'm going to

add one more little strip of tape here and again using that technique that

we've been using pretty much the entire time which is to cut the piece and then

trim that little bit off just lay that on top now if you want to you know you

can embellish this any way that you want to you can make a really fun design or

pattern put stripes or stars or whatever you want this is just a simple basic

technique to show you how to do it and then I'm going to seal off that last

a little bit with another little piece of tape right up here at the top

it kind of looks like a little bit like a diaper you take your can you

just slide it right on in and you got yourself can cozy that's all there is to

making your very own personalized can cozy out of duct tape and remember if

you've got some stickers lying around why not personalize it with your name or

make sure that everybody knows that it's mine now if you like our ideas make sure

to give us the thumbs up better yet why not subscribe there's a button right
