certain that you will need to work with modal dialog very often in this video we

have picked the five stunning modal dialog that will boost up your website

experience for users first is animatedmodal.js this is a nice little jQuery

plug-in as utilized CSS3 transition to give you a full screen modal dialog

suitable for a confirm dialog for example if you want to confirm popup

dialog when the user delete their account the small animation effect

helps flavour up the design so it's not too plain I came across this very

nice collection of dialog effect not too long and I must say I'm very

impressed this one goes very well with the clean

or minimal flat design lots of choice lots of options too

another collection of fullscreen modal dialog but I never seen a diamond effect

before the dialog are also scrollable to support a long content but that's

WINNER's Song Mino Hilariously Explains Why He Can't See Kang Ho Dong As His "Hyung" - Duration: 2:05.

WINNER's Song Mino Hilariously Explains Why He Can't See Kang Ho Dong As His "Hyung"

Theres no denying the affection between these two New Journey to the West castmates, but the way they show their love is just too funny!.

WINNERs Mino recently made a guest appearance on the August 26 episode of JTBCs Ask Us Anything along with BIGBANGs Taeyang. Soompi. Display. News. English. 300x250. Mobile. English. 300x250. ATF.

During the broadcast, Song Mino shared, I was hurt [today] by Kang Ho Dong. I really like Ask Us Anything. Since he had called my little brother when he appeared, I was imagining something like that happening [with me also]..

Kang Ho Dong didnt seem affected by what Song Mino said, and later explained that he had not greeted the rapper that way because he thought Song Mino would feel burdened.

The WINNER member also explained how he likes Kang Ho Dong, but couldnt see him as an older brother (hyung).

My mom and Kang Ho Dong are only one year apart in age, Song Mino said. Apart from the age, I really want to consider Kang Ho Dong as an older brother.

However, he already has too many little brothers (dongsaengs) that follow him..

As everyone laughed at the rappers truthful statement, Song Mino then asked Kang Ho Dong a series of questions he prepared in order to find out who his favorite dongsaeng was.

After he made his choices between Eun Ji Won, Jung Yong Hwa, , Super Juniors Kyuhyun, and , Kang Ho Dong was eventually left with the final question of who he liked more between Song Mino and .

As , Kang Ho Dong amusingly shouted Lee Seung Gi! as his pick.

We can't believe what we found UNDER the city center! - Urbex Lost Places Markthalle Leipzig Germany - Duration: 12:56.

In today's episode, we are exploring a widely branched network of cellars

located deep under a major city.

This place has been an insiders' tip among the local urbex community for years.

These vaults are the last remaining sections of a historic market hall

which was built in the 19th century and demolished some decades ago.

Only a few meters above this relict of former times

people are going on with their daily routines

having no idea what spectacular views are down here.

In some cases multiple-centimeter-thick and many meters long roots extend across the underground.

Until this day we hadn't set eyes on something like this.

Since this place will be a huge construction site in the near future

and because all the access points were blocked up lately we decided to go with the real name of this abandoned site.

Join our descent into the remains of the old Markthalle Leipzig.

Hidden very well between bushes we found the entrance to the underworld.

This tiny hole was our first challenge.

How in the world is a fully grown man supposed to fit through this?

Well, somehow we managed.

The second challenge was the bad air down there which made it hard to breathe.

There were probably many different kinds of fungal spores, too.

So we decided to play it safe and use our respiratory masks.

"We're right at the street. We can hear folks when they're passing by."

"It says Exit 1. This is apparently the other entrance."

"Yep."

Quickly, we realized that the whole site was in a very bad condition.

This, however, was to be expected but the third big challenge for us.

From time to time, we heard noises from the surface.

In these instances, the silence of the underground was broken by the muffled boom of the tramways or a howling siren.

The market hall was built between the years 1889 and 1891 in the center of the Eastern German town Leipzig.

At the same time, the bustle started in here, it was the end of the local open-air market places.

Around the year 1900 this picture was taken which shows the 7.500 square meter building.

This view of the big atrium shows over 600 different market stalls which all could be provided in the ground floor.

The photo dates back to 1917.

From meat and vegetables to baked goods and wood products nearly everything was traded here.

It is said that there were rooms for a restaurant and even for vets.

There was a water reservoir inside a big tower, acting as motor for six hydraulic load lifts in total.

These elevators could reach several floors and they were mainly used for the transport of the cooled goods from the underground depot to the market area.

Already at that time people were wondering how spacious the basement vaults must be.

Next to the refrigeration system steam boilers and machines were working down here.

The structure of an old hoist is the last remnant of the historic market hall above the surface.

„Old people!"

"This is team Blue, I repeat: This is team Blue!"

"We are surrounded, there are old people on the other side too! Pensioners, they're everywhere!"

"The demographic change gets us all!"

When you are examining the neglected area on the surface carefully

you will find quite a lot of access points which were sealed up.

In the underground, there are many entrances which were filled up with earth, too.

Particularly impressive is the enormous root system in the underground.

Roots of trees which were only a few meters above our heads were breaking through the ceiling everywhere.

Over all these years some of them reached unbelievable proportions.

"Take a look at this giant root underneath you."

"That's sick to see how it's growing in here."

"It looks like it was painted on the wall. It's so dainty..."

"Over there is a much bigger root."

"It's coming from the street, breaking through the bricks and growed all the way down."

An exciting fact is that you can find objects from different ages down here too.

There are fresh tracks of other explorers

but also things from a very long time ago and stuff from between these periods.

Deep inside the tunnels it was pitch-black.

So we needed lamps that can provide plenty of power.

We were glad that we were kindly equipped by Capulux – The Urbex Store.

Capulux is one of the first online shops which focuses on urban explorers only

beginners, but also advanced adventurers.

Here you can find reliable equipment which has been tested in practice.

But enough with this commercial break for now, let's continue with the history lesson.

Air raids in World War II hit the building and the surroundings hard.

However, immediately after the war the market opened again as you can see on this picture from 1950.

At this time, the hall still lied partly in ruins.

That's the reason the market hall was considered as blight in times of the former German Democratic Republic

and so it was completely torn down in 1959.

Only the underground parts remained and were used from time to time.

Something new was supposed to be created here but nothing happened for decades.

The whole site fallowed.

Until today, around 60 years later.

Recently, there were a lot of debates about possible development plans.

There even was talk of a big freedom monument.

Surprisingly the debates finally achieved a breakthrough only a few months ago.

In June 2017, the city decided on a master plan

which provides that there will be a totally new market hall in the near future.

Living quarters and offices are planned as well.

While there was a lot of talk about what should happen with the surface of the site

we were always interested in what's beneath it.

So we were really glad when we finally made the descent into this underworld.

In addition to one or the other rat we discovered a beautiful type of decay that was completely new to us.

Giant roots in the dark underground and marks of bygone times made these vaults to an unreal place.

Although the cellars presumably are going to belong to the past

we will never forget all these unique views.

We hope you liked today's history lesson.

This exploration of the underground was a really special experience.

Game of Thrones question: Can Daenerys Targaryen get pregnant? - Duration: 2:10.

Alejandro: What is up my Padawans!?

This is Alejandro @popculturejedi

Once again,

IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED GAME OF THRONES

IF YOU'RE NOT CAUGH UP

DON'T WATCH THIS VIDEO

MAJOR SPOILER WARNING

So let's talk about this.

In last week's episode of Game of Thrones, "Beyond the Wall"

There were a lot of allusions to children...

...heirs...

whether people can even have kids.

So, once again, all we have to do is look

at the past episodes to get the answers we seek.

We're gonna look at Season 1 episode 9...

" Baelor "

For a little bit of information

that'll help us figure out the answer to this question.

Let's go take a look.

Daenerys: Do it.

Save him.

Mirri Maz Duur: There is a price.

Daenerys: I have gold, whatever you want.

Mirri Maz Duur: It's not a matter of gold.

This is blood magic.

Only death pays for life.

Bring me his horse.

Alejandro: Right.

So once again,

" blood magic " .

It's always blood magic.

How is it always blood magic?

All we know is that...

BLOOD MAGIC WORKS.

So, check it out, here's what I'm thinking...

Daenerys uses blood magic

to try to save Khal Drogo.

A life for a life.

What happened in last week's episode?

What life was given up...

...in the last week's episode?

The same life...

...that sprung from the death of Khal Drogo...

and the death of her child.

A life can only be paid for by death.

We had a death last week.

We also had a lot of allusions to kids.

And our two main characters...

...who are making googley eyes at eachother...

Both had references to their children and future heirs...

...mentioned in the same episode.

I think Daenerys can have kids.

In fact, I think she will have a child...

...or she will get pregnant, at the very least.

Well I guess...

Not this next episode.

By the end of the show, right?

But I guess we won't really know until we watch the rest of the show so...

GOOD LUCK, guys, this week.

Look out for more videos.

Look out for a video on Littlefinger because I think that...

...his days are numbered my friends.

And I will be making a video to remind us all...

...why that needs to happen a.s.a.p.

Please Like, Share and Subscribe.

It'd be cool, if I could get more subscribers...

...and then I can make more videos.

And there's gonna be lots of more shows coming out...

...and I'll be making videos about those.

So don't worry.

I'll still be around.

And thanks for coming by.

I'll see you guys later.

BYYYYEEEE!

How God Can Change Your Life (Clip 2) // Bayless Conley - Duration: 2:47.

Get ready to discover answers in the Bible

with Bayless Conley

Don't reject the gospel just because of the humanity of the vessel that brings it.

That's why Paul said in Second Corinthians 4:5, "For we do not preach ourselves, but

Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake."

I mean, why reject the meal because those who are serving it are disappointing?

Take it a step farther.

You are lost out in the desert, hopelessly lost.

It's hot, you haven't had anything to drink in a couple of days; you realize you

are on the verge of perishing.

All of a sudden over the sand dunes you hear a strange noise.

And here comes this old rusty Jeep driving your way.

The guy stops in the Jeep, and he is a sight to see.

He hasn't shaved in who knows how long, he stinks, you can smell him from where you are.

His lips are chapped; his skin is sunburned.

He says, "Hey, you want a drink of water?

And I'll be glad to drive you out of here."

You say, "No, I'm not taking any water from you.

You look a mess!

And you stink!

You obviously don't know anything about hygiene.

And there hasn't been any proper introductions.

I don't want your water, and I don't want your ride.

Get out of here!"

All right, go ahead and die.

You know what?

You are not going to find a minister of the gospel or a Christian anywhere that doesn't

have some issues, doesn't have some faults.

You know, they said of John the Baptist, "Ah, you know, he has a demon.

He doesn't eat with us and he doesn't drink with us."

Well, Jesus came eating and drinking, and they said, "Ah, He's a glutton,

and He drinks too much wine."

I mean, you couldn't please the people.

It's easy to find faults in people if you look for them.

And maybe you've been turned off by somebody that tried to share with you.

Listen, don't judge the whole parade by a couple of clowns, okay?

The gospel is real.

Don't reject the message because the one bringing it is disappointing.

Jurgen Klopp on "unbelievable" Roberto Firmino and where Sadio Mane & Mo Salah can improve - Duration: 4:00.

Jurgen Klopp on "unbelievable" Roberto Firmino and where Sadio Mane & Mo Salah can improve

Jurgen Klopp has discussed his new-look forward line, hailing Roberto Firmino and explaining how Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah can improve.

The arrival of Salah from AS Roma for a club-record deal this summer has provided Klopp with a new key player in attack, joining Mane and Firmino.

With Philippe Coutinho missing in action as he pushes for a move to Barcelona, Klopp's forward setup is established and, so far this season, performing.

Firmino has scored twice and assisted twice in four appearances for the Reds in 2017/18, while both Mane and Salah have netted two goals and laid on another from out wide.

Liverpool's attacking trio shone in the 4-2 midweek win over Hoffenheim in the Champions League play-off, with Firmino the standout performer for Klopp. "Who was in doubt about Roberto [before Wednesday]?" he asked reporters at Melwood on Friday.

"Sorry, anyone who was lost my respect one-and-a-half years ago already. He is an unbelievable player.

"Working hard, everybody speaks about the passing game, but it's the challenges he makes defensively, chasing them from behind, all over the pitch. They couldn't get rid of him.

"That is the character you need to make the next step with a team which is already good.

Mane spent the final two months of last season with a knee injury that required surgery in April, but the Senegalese has hit the ground running on his return.

And Klopp believes Mane is already much-improved on the player who arrived from Southampton last summer, but insisted the 25-year-old "can still improve.

"Yes, Sadio has made a big step. Being more clear in all the situations. Passing in the right moment, dribbling in the right moments, always being a goal threat," the German conceded.

"He had a long break but he has started so well. Last season he didn't start too badly either. At Arsenal he scored a nice goal. "Sadio is not at the limit. Like all these boys, he can still improve.".

As for Salah, who left Serie A for £36. 9 million in June, Klopp feels that, despite his impressive start, the Egyptian is still getting to grips with his tactical demands.

"You can see Mo is on the way there. Not that used to it. Not using the body that much," he explained.

"He's a different player to Sadio, same speed, but a different player. He played a completely different position last season, he was the second striker at Roma.

"He is a winger—he can play this. He has defended 500 percent more already than he did in the whole of last season.".

Given they have already contributed six goals and four assist between them, the potential within Klopp's attacking trio is clear—and that they can still improve is hugely encouraging.

They Can't All Have A HEMI - 1964 AMC Rambler Classic - Duration: 10:40.

it's a wet Saturday at the shop and Nick is trying to get a few cars finished up

and out of his way. I'm having a big dilemma over this motor. He came here

because he had no spark but we changed the distributor, got it going, now he always has a

spark but the problem is a fuel.. it floods you see this carburetor this carb

that it came with.. it keeps flooding right keeps flooding so I change the needle

and seat guess what it still floods... I adjusted the

float it's still floods ..so he had a holly mechanical fuel pump you don't need a

regulator forever right you go to 7 pounds 8 pounds

I installed a regulator with a fuel gauge I brought it down to 5 pounds and

guess what it's still floods... you come to a stop sign you see the carb fill up

to the top ..so then what do you do so guess what I did I put in another carburetor

edelbrock, that's what it did same thing 100%... then I said you know what

maybe i will take off the holy pump and put a regular Carter fuel pump mechanical I

put it on guess what same thing ... two different carbs two

different pumps, i have the same story I even installed a regulator I remove the

gas cap in case it builds up pressure in the tank I did everything

it just keeps flooding. bizarre right? very bizarre so we think for a Holley ?

2 Carters, man I and the other Carter I'm sorry not the Carter, edelbrock the

other Edelbrock I use on the dyno I never had any issues I put on this car

got flooded you know what I'm gonna try a Holley

just for fun yeah where else could keep the pressures something's boosting the

pressure what ? mechanical pump no electric pump it's only mechanical if you put a

regulator to bring it out to five pounds it should not flood out you have to see

the gas, you know what yeah when you turn it off when it when it

stalls you see the carb, the float the the venturies all full fuel all into

the intake manifold then you gotta take it all the plugs, crank the fuel out..

everything to get it started again

you know what I'm gonna go back inside work on the 64 Rambler change the set of

points get that car running and there at least we have one car running out of two

sounds like a good idea

sometimes a car will throw a few twists at Nick as he works to track down a

problem sometimes he'll discover new problems along the way he's not going to

quit until he makes his customers happy but when one job gets frustrating Nick

always has another that needs his attention too here's a 1964 Rambler

classic 660 from American Motors.. 1964, look how clean it is, check it out... it's got four

doors and six cylinders but it means a lot to its owner so Nick is trying to

get it started after a long time in storage the Rambler classic was the

toyota camry of its time a sensible mid-sized sedan in 64 if you wanted

solid affordable transportation you'd be looking at a Ford Fairlane a Dodge Dart

the Chevy Chevelle or this well-appointed family car

although they were offered with engines up to a 270 horsepower v8 this one has a

thrifty 90 horsepower inline 6... they can't all be Hemis ...ok, crank it over.

its got gas, not strong. yeah.

ok, you turned off the key?

yes okay it should start ..it came we adjusted the points it's started and drove over

for a couple of days then it broke down again so I got a new set of points but I

got spark I got fuel coming through the filter so before I go into the

carburetor let me I pump it a few times and see where okay let's start let's say

you need to put oil already put yours let's see what happens

there you go.. told you.

this is really old-school

we got a 64 Rambler came in on towing checked to see what the problem is.. I see it's

got a spark that comes and goes so I know he had issues with the points I finally

found a set so we're gonna take off to the distributor cab replace the points and see if

it starts... a lot of mechanics nowadays don't

know what these are is your set of points way before electronic ignition

there they are

nick is no stranger to cars with old ignition systems with points but when he

gets a good look at the ones in the Rambler he realizes they're not the same

as the new ones he'd found ... this is really old school can't get older that

is I mean in my shop 64 it's common but then again trying to find parts for

these things everyday you don't find that easy you do eventually find them

if you have the time so lets see if i can get these points up but I need

them today to finish off and deliver the car today but as you can see... we're gonna try

cleaning them instead of that replacing them ...well... let's clean them up a bit

i want to file them down just get a nice flat tip and see if they work after that

anyways we're just doing this temporarily until we find a set of

points ..as my client needs this car tonight we're gonna do a fast repair by

fining down the tip of the points just to get them going

I don't care everybody does it but this is the way I do it ..actually we are cleaning it

because there are a little bit burnt on the tip that looks pretty cool a little

bit more this is all in the 60s 50s the 40s in the early 70s and after that

became electronic ignition and way after that electronic fuel injection but this

is a time with carburetors and points so this is what we got today this is what

we're going to deal with I do it of course less and less often because we've

done a lot of conversions to electronic edition from points but this client wants it

the way it is so we're gonna end up putting back the same points so let's go

put them on and see what happens

this is this is sweet a 1964 Rambler original except for the gas filter oil

filter and battery everything else besides that genuine... look at that

even the radiator cap is original god this is awesome.. lets put them in and

hopefully get started is that can't wait to drive this car around the block

i once got a phone call last year, a guy tells me 'Nick I got an old car i need to

replace the point you know what those are?' I told him yeah I know what they are

and you know what it was it was a 71 HEMI Cuda I will dual points a HEMI Cuda with dual points that is rare it comes here man

an original owner believe it or not anyways job was done

we gotta deliver... okay here we go... I love working on these old cars

they are so simple.. and you know what's the fun part about it? People ask me what are you doing? Jeez.

I said very simple, changing a set of points or adjusting them or whatever you know

they go whatever, they have no idea what im doing

especially the new mechanics

there aren't many guys like Nick who can still keep these old cars on the road

and even fewer who can do it when the replacement parts ordered aren't the

right ones... but Nick wants his client to have his ride for the weekend so he

takes the time to patch the Rambler up and keep it rolling

Let's go for a road test.

64 American Motors

what a ride. this is the way it was in the 60s check that out now there's an

American Motors does not even exist anymore this is awesome

man, there's no blind spot in these cars everywhere you look is windows

it came in on the tow truck but the Rambler will drive home with a happy

customer behind the wheel all thanks to a little know-how and Nick's garage

How you can use Smartphone Photography to Improve ALL of your photography. Part 2 - Duration: 11:48.

In part one of this Smartphone photography set, I promised to share my favorite apps

for shooting and processing my smartphone images and I told you that I would share a

list of apps that can help you improve ALL of your photography - even with your expensive

pro cameras.

So lets do this - stay tuned!

Hey gang!

My name is Joe Edelman and my mission is to help photographers like YOU to develop a solid

understanding of the HOWS & WHYS behind great photography so that you can achieve your goals

as a photographer.

If you haven't watched part one of this set - I hope you have a good excuse!

You can find the link to it in the description below the video.

I mentioned in the first video that I shoot my smartphone images as RAW files!

A lot of people were surprised to hear that was possible.

Well it is - but let me clarify a few things…

RAW files are not a native feature on smartphones - so you will need to use a different camera

app than the one that is part of your phones operating system.

<<<Camera Apps>>>

Just like there are different camera brands - there are fifty times as many different

camera apps for your smartphone.

So let's look at two of my favorites..

Probably tops on the list for both functionality and ability to work on iPhone and Android

is the app called ProShot.

This is a $3.99 app that effectively turns your smartphone into a DSLR styled operating

system.

You can shoot with Auto Exposure, Program, Automatic or Manual and you can create two

custom modes to fit your shooting style - just like you do with a DSLR.

The ProShot App gives you Manual, semi-manual or automatic control over exposure, focus,

flash, ISO, shutter speed, and white balance.

You can shoot in JPEG or RAW - which is a DNG file or just like your DSLR - you can

shoot RAW + JPEG.

Also, you can shoot in a standard 4:3 format or 16:9 or 1:1 square and even create custom

aspect ratios.

The ProShot app also offers manual focus assist, Burst, Timer and Timelapse modes, Bracketing,

Live Histogram and a lot more.

I have included a link in the description below.

My personal favorite app for shooting stills is ProCam.

This is an iOS only app.

ProCam sells for $4.99.

It will allow you to shoot a RAW file or even shoot a Lossless TIFF as well as jpegs with

three quality options.

In addition it has all of these features……

If I am working on a shot in low light levels and I want to limit the amount of noise - I

use an app called Hydra.

Hydra merges up to 60 individual images to make a single high-quality picture, effectively

getting more light from the scene.

That way, Hydra produces up to 32-megapixel high-resolution images with enhanced dynamic

range and reduced camera noise in low-light scenes.

Hydra is an iOS only app that sells for $4.99

So how do you figure out which is the best app for you to shoot with????

The same way you figure out the best camera or lens to shoot with…you consider what

types of photos you like to take…and try a bunch of different apps.

A lot of the camera apps offer a free version and paid version.

The free version will help you figure out if you like the layout and design of the app

and if it is worth spending the money for the paid version to unlock all the cool features

You can also use YouTube to see detailed walkthroughs of most of the apps.

It is worth pointing out - I still keep the native iPhone app icon on my main screen.

If I am in a hurry - need a quick snap of something and I am not trying to be creative

or create a work of art - nothing beats the native camera app on iPhone or Android for

that quick snapshot.

<<<Post Processing>>>>

Yes - it said post processing - all digital files are meant to be processed - just like

in the film days.

You see we really haven't evolved that much.

I do want to be clear - post processing does not mean slapping an Instagram filter on your

photo so that it looks like five million other shots that used the same filter.

My all time favorite app for post is Snapseed.

Originally by Nik Software and now owned by Google, Snapseed is free for both iOS and

Android.

Supports raw files and allows you to create editable files so that you can undo and change

your edits.

Snapseed in very robust and it's features include - well - all of this…..

I think it is important to mention that the latest version of Lightroom Mobile is extremely

robust and well laid out - but it still suffers from the same roadblock as the desktop version

of Lightroom - IMPORT - for me - I don't want to have to import my photos so they live

in the Adobe ecosystem.

So for my workflow - Snapseed stays at number one but if you use Lightroom on your Desktop

and love that set-up, I would strongly encourage you to take a look at the Lightroom App.

Its also worth mentioning that for the occasional gimmick there are apps that will create reflections

and mirror images and raindrops and just about anything you can imagine.

Honestly they are a lot of fun - just don't over do it.

Remember - a bad photo is still a bad photo and adding a reflection to it - won't save

it - so use any of these apps sparingly - please.

<<<< DSLR HELPERS>>>>

I know - these are the ones you have really been waiting to hear about.

Let's start with Shoot Prep.

Smartphones give us so much useful technology for planning photo shoots - it really is hard

to imagine how we ever got great shots back in the film days.

Hopefully it goes without saying that Google Earth and Google Maps are incredibly important

from the ability to see a location that you have never visited before to of course being

able to map out the fastest route to get there.

Both apps are free and available for iOS and Android.

Aside from Google Earth and Google Maps - Number one on my must have list is called Sun Surveyor.

If you are going to shoot outdoors for any reason this app is extremely useful.

Sun Surveyor allows me to track the sun throughout the day on any calendar date.

It will show me where the sun will be in the sky, how high it will be, how long the shadows

will be and more.

I can use this in a map view mode - but also a street view mode to get a realistic idea

of how my location will be lit.

Using my phones GPS - I can even stand inside a building and use the app to figure out how

much light will be streaming through windows at any given time of the day.

Sun Surveyor also helps me plan night time shots by tracking the moon and for any give

calendar day it will give me detailed breakdowns of sunrise, sunset, golden and magic hours

and more.

This is a $9.99 app that is worth every penny and for me it replaces several apps like the

popular LightTrac and The Photographer's Ephemeris.

Sun Surveyor is much more robust and information packed than any other app of its kind.

It is available for Android and iOS.

Also when planning a location shoot - the Weather Channel App which is FREE and available

for iOS and Android is incredibly important to be able to review weather forecasts and

also satellite radar data.

If you want something a bit more robust, for $1.99 in both iOS and Android, you can pick

up the NOAA Hi Def Radar app which has hi-def radar displays for more accurate predictions.

a 99 cent per month subscription is required to see future radar data - but this is a worthwhile

expense if you routinely work outdoors.

I like to keep track of potential shoot locations as I am out and about so I use an app called

Scene Scout.

Available for free on iOS and Android, Scene Scout allows me to shoot and organize my potential

locations - tag and search them AND crowdsource by sharing them with others.

This also means that if I am traveling somewhere new - I can check Scene Scout for locations

that have been shared by others in the past.

Another very useful app - especially for landscape and architectural photographers - but even

handy for us people shooters is Hyperfocal Depth of Field.

This is a calculator app.

It supports over 1,600 different camera models and lets you input your camera, lens and aperture

and it will tell you the hyperfocal distance for that combination.

In case you haven't actually studied depth field…

The hyperfocal distance is the closest distance that your lens can be focused at while keeping

objects at infinity acceptably sharp.

So when the lens is focused at this distance, all objects at distances from half of the

hyperfocal distance out to infinity will be acceptably sharp.

If I just confused with that - you need to go and read up on how depth of field really

works.

You know.. the part that doesn't just mean bokeh in the background.

I will be releasing an in-depth video about depth of field in a few weeks.

The Hyperfocal Depth of Field App is for iOS and it's FREE.

It is supported by small ads at the bottom of the screens.

The Android alternative is an app called Depth of Field Calculator which is also free or

you can pay just under two dollars to have the ads removed.

Having your gear stolen is the ultimate nightmare.

Lenstag allows you to register your lenses, cameras, and other equipment and stores a

photo of your gears the serial number tag as proof of your ownership.

In the unfortunate event that your stuff goes missing, you mark it as stolen on your account.

If a third party buyer does a search for the serial numbers of the equipment you are missing,

they'll be notified that the stuff they are looking to buy was stolen.

It's also FREE and available for iOS and Android.

I find it is useful just to have a complete inventory of my gear in case of theft.

That inventory can be downloaded as a .csv file.

Last but not least on my list, since I am a people photographer Model Releases are important

and I am so over using paper.

My long standing favorite is the app called Easy Release.

Available for iOS and Android.

This is a $9.99 app that is also worth every penny.

You can use the release's that are pre-installed in the app or upload your own.

The app will allow you to collect a photo of your subject, add their signature and then

produce a jpeg or pdf of the signed release that can be emailed to you and / or your subject

as well as saved in the cloud.

And btw - Easy Release also handles property releases.

So there you have it gang.

These are my MUST have smartphone photography apps.

Be sure to check out the link below the video that will take you to my blog article containing

all of this information and the links to the various apps.

Feel free to bookmark it and I will keep the information updated as things change and new

and better apps are introduced.

Now you understand why I said in the first video that the best camera you have is your

smartphone.

It is an excellent tool to help you develop your ability to see and keep your creative

edge when you don't have the time to pick up and setup your dslr.

It is also an incredibly powerful tool for planning and executing most any kind of shoot.

Let me know in the comments what apps that you find really useful.

Hey, please hit that thumbs up and subscribe so that you don't miss any videos and until

next time go pick up that camera and shoot something because your BEST shot - it's

your NEXT shot, so keep learning, keep thinking, keep shooting.

Adios!

When People Find Out You Can't Swim - Duration: 2:49.

(upbeat instrumental music)

(ambient music)

(group groaning)

- Ha ha suckers!

- Hey, you know we should go to the beach.

- Oh!

I call parasailing.

- Lets scuba, right?

(sighing)

I want to try and find the Ty-tain-ick.

- Oh!

I'll book us a deep-sea dive, pronto.

- Actually guys, I don't know how to swim.

- What? - What?

- What?

(yelling) (whooshing)

(glass breaking)

- Oh, oh!

I could teach you.

(dance music)

- Do you teach? - No.

- Whenever I say I don't know how to swim,

people are always saying the same thing,

"Oh I can teach you.

"Oh have you tried this thing?"

- Come on.

No way that's true.

Have you tried floating?

I can teach you.

- No I don't know how to float.

- But floating's easy.

Does this make it any clearer?

- No.

- Does the pool upset you?

Are you gonna scream?

(dance music)

- No, because I don't know how to swim,

but I'm not afraid of water.

(imitating ghost)

- Well, what would you do

if you we're on the next Ty-tain-ick?

(dance music)

- It's Ty-tan-ick, and most people on the Titanic

died from hypothermia.

(dramatic music)

- Does this freak you out?

- No, 'cause again, I don't know how to swim,

but I'm not afraid of water.

- Have you taken a class?

- Yes. - From me?

- No, Katie, you would know if I'd taken a class from you.

- Oh, smart girl.

- What would you do if the pool

were 100 feet deep and I just pushed you in?

- I would drown.

- What would you do if this pool

were 1,000 feet deep and I just pushed you in?

- I'd drown. - See, right there.

It's a survival thing.

If you were on the next Ty-tain-ick, you would die.

- Most people died on the Ty-tan-ick,

and it would probably just be easier

if you didn't push me into pools.

- What if if gave you a class?

(groaning)

And I put you in the shallow end.

- Okay.

- And then we pushed you in the deep end.

- You'd probably just start swimming like magic.

- No, that's not how anything works.

- It could.

- Are you sure you're trying it right?

Because if you start kicking,

I'm pretty sure you'll just start swimming.

- Guys, this isn't working.

This isn't helpful at all.

Swimming is just a thing my body doesn't know how to do!

- [Group] Whoa.

- How are you doing that?

- What?

You don't know how to fly?

- [Group] No.

- Okay, what are you, like afraid of air?

- No.

I don't think so.

- I mean, if you don't know how to fly,

what do you do in the sky?

- I just stay on the mountainous side.

- Okay, but if we were on a plane

and I pushed you out, what would you even do?

- Let's not do that.

- Guys this is crazy.

Flying is so easy.

All you have to do is just fly.

- Oh no, I think I am afraid of air.

Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette can emulate Luis Suarez impact, says Arsene Wenger - Duration: 3:27.

Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette can emulate Luis Suarez impact, says Arsene Wenger

He reckons his new 'bargain buy' can do for Arsenal what Suarez has done for Barcelona, his country Uruguay and his former club Liverpool.

Much depends on whether Alexis Sanchez sticks around, but if he does then Wenger is confident the Chilean and Lacazette could become a devastating double act. "All the ingredients are there," he claims.

"They are both good goalscorers, good finishers, good passers, and have good assists. "The rest will be more about the desire to play with each other, but usually the good players have that.

And if it works, it will be fantastic.   "One of the qualities of Suarez is he manages to get the best out of people around him.

And that is a quality that is important and sometimes you cannot measure so much because you only look at the number of goals a guy has scored.

But sometimes the way he can marry with people around him decides the quality of the team." It's also a sign of the crazy financial times top clubs now operate in that Wenger reckons Lacazette has also become a bargain buy in just a matter of weeks.

Arsenal forked out £52million to land the French striker from Lyon last month, but his new boss genuinely believes that if he had waited until now to sign him he would have had to pay a lot more.

"The inflation sometimes is so quick within the transfer market that the timing of your buys is very important," said Wenger.

"And considering the market, I think it is a decent price (for Lacazette)."     That's why the Gunners boss is confident it will be money well spent if he hits it off with Sanchez, with the pair expected to make their Premier League bow together for the first time this afternoon.  It is a work in progress that Wenger accepts will take time, but he's excited over what the finished article could become.

"He (Lacazette) is a bit surprised by the intensity of it all in training and in the games," the manager revealed. "But he will get there because he is brave and intelligent and is slowly adapting.

He is getting better and stronger every week. "You have many types of strikers and he is the one who is more of a combination player than a finisher. But the quality of his finishing is top class."  .

Everyone can relax, it's a manual! New Renault Clio R.S. 16 concept unveiled - Duration: 5:30.

Everyone can relax, it's a manual! New Renault Clio R.S. 16 concept unveiled

Renaultsport is celebrating its 40th anniversary in style by cramming the powertrain from a Megane RS 275 Trophy-R into an RS Clio.

Yes, you read that right – the Megane's 271bhp 20-litre turbocharged engine and six-speed manual gearbox have been jimmied under the Clio's bonnet. Sounds like it could be a complete handful!.

Fortunately, the ever-talented Renaultsport has done more than just shoehorn in a delightfully inappropriate powerplant into the small hatchback. For starters, upgrades include race-bred chassis modifications, suspension tweaks and 19-inch wheels.

S 16's adjustable dampers are lifted straight from the Trophy-R, while floating 350mm-diameter front discs and an upgraded braking system derived from the Megane's Nurburgring pack serve up suitable stopping power.

Renault's raided countless other parts bin for this project, too. The engine, transmission and cooling system are all lifted from the Trophy-R, while the suspension is assembled from adapted parts lifted from the Megane, Kangoo and Espace. .

Akrapovic stepped up once again to supply a suitable exhaust system, while the engineers worked to ensure the car's ABS and stability systems functioned as expected.

'The premise was to design an exclusively Renaultsport vehicle, fitted with the most powerful engine in the range, explained Laurent Dore, manager of the prototype department. 'The aim was perfectly clear, but the first difficulty concerned the lead-times, which were extremely tight.

'We created a team made up of experts from Renaultsport Cars and Renaultsport Racing. This little 'commando' unit was managed by Maurizio Suppa, an engineer specialising in prototype design.'.

Looks pretty aggressive, too. That's in part thanks to the Clio's bodywork being some 60mm wider. Renault had to fit composite flares, in order to clear the taller 19-in wheel and tyre combo.

Other cosmetic and aerodynamic tweaks include the fitment of a rear diffuser from the Clio Cup, a rear spoiler to boost downforce and a redesigned front splitter to improve cooling.

Completing the high-performance look are bucket seats and six-point safety belt. Renault's also ditched the air-con and rear bench, cutting weight in an effort to improve the car's handling and performance. No official word on the amount of weight shed, though.

Is it still front-wheel drive?. Oh yes – so 266lb ft will be surging with vigour through those front tyres. Given how well the regular RS Clio 200 Turbo and more powerful Meganes deal with their torque, however, we can't imagine the R.S.

16 will be too unwieldy at full throttle. How fast is it?. Renault hasn't published any performance figures for the new concept but, given that we know how quick the Trophy-R is, you can expect it to perform as follows:. sub-5.

Will I be able to see it at any point?. 16 was revealed ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, but it'll be on display in the UK at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from 23-26 June.

More importantly, are they going to build it? . It's likely that the car will remain a concept for now, given its niche appeal.

That said, a lot of parts used in the concept are already available and Renault has history with low-volume, high-performance editions – like the Trophy-R and Clio V6.

'We all recalled the impact made by Clio V6,' said RS managing director Patrice Ratti. 'We wanted to create a technical concept car with extraordinary performance levels but which was more realistically priced.

'Therefore, we had to keep our feet on the ground and use simple, ingenious solutions to achieve a vehicle that could be type-approved.

Ferrari builds another car you can't have: new Ferrari 458 MM Speciale revealed - Duration: 2:39.

Ferrari builds another car you can't have: new Ferrari 458 MM Speciale revealed

This is the Ferrari 458 MM Speciale, a one-off reworking of the sublime 458 Speciale built to a brief from an individual British customer.

It's been created by Ferrari's Special Projects division, the department that addresses the needs of clients who find a regular Ferrari just a little bit too ordinary. That rather fetching new bodywork is aluminium, with carbonfibre panels for the nose and tail.

The distinctive new side air scoop shape is there for a reason too, directing more air into the engine bay to compensate for the different surfaces at the rear, which sports a more pronounced rake to the rear spoiler, jutting over tail-lights borrowed from the new 488.

The underlying structure and powertrain are unchanged from the original 458 Speciale, including that naturally aspirated 597bhp 4.5-litre V8.

There are some detail changes under the new skin; for instance, the front radiators have been tilted upwards and mounted more closely together than on the regular 458.

Ferrari says part of the client's brief was a 'visor effect' for the windscreen and side windows, hence the black-painted A-pillar for a wraparound look.

The photographs in the gallery above were taken at Ferrari's Fiorano test track, from the MM's first shake down with its lucky new owner and Ferrari test driver Dario Benuzzi.

Ferrari hasn't officially announced what the 'MM' stands for; Mille Miglia? Marshmallows? Multi-millionaire is probably most appropriate. While Ferrari doesn't disclose prices for individual clients' projects, this very special Speciale won't have been cheap.
