Vettel needs time to himself after 'exhausting' year Sebastian Vettel says that he needs some time to himself throughout the winter to regroup after a tough season. The German lost out in the world championship fight to Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, who picked up his fifth world title in Mexico.

Vettel saw his challenge slipway in the second half of the year after getting involved in a number of on-track mishaps. Ferrari lost out in the development race to Mercedes, as it had to take off a number of upgrades that failed to improve the car's pace. "Looking back I haven't been at the top of my game," Vettel admitted. "I can be better than I was at times this year.

I think I need some time for myself. It has been a quite difficult and exhausting year for me. I don't think I ever any problems raising my hand if I made a mistake. "I don't think I need to change things upside down but certainly I can adjust and get stronger. Having said that though, I think we also had a lot of races where we got everything out of the car and the package and I felt that I did everything I could.".

Vettel highlighted the issues surrounding upgrades to the car, and also stated that the death of Ferrari's CEO Sergio Marchionne had an impact at the camp, which translated over to the on-track form. "We lost our path a little bit halfway through the year. Things didn't come together so obviously we did a step back towards the end of the year which enabled us to be more competitive again but I think we've understood what went wrong," he said.

"We had a lot of lessons, it was a tough year in general. I think the team is strong and the team has potential. The passing of our chairman, Mr Marchionne obviously had an impact and was tough so I think it's up to us to look into every single detail and make sure we come out as a stronger group, enabling us to build a stronger package for next year and for the future.".

NEXT NEWS:RAIKKONEN REUNITES WITH SAUBER IN ABU DHABI. Kimi Raikkonen has officially made his return to the Sauber Formula 1 team, as he took the C37 around the Yas Marina Circuit on Tuesday as part of the post-season test in Abu Dhabi.

Raikkonen announced in September that he would be returning to the team that he started his F1 career at in 2001 after Ferrari opted to sign Charles Leclerc for the 2019 season on a multi-year deal. Sauber struggled throughout the 2016 and 2017 season, and it was stuck firmly at the back of the field as the grid's backmarkers. However, it has made significant improvements this year, ending the season fighting towards the front of the midfield.

Raikkonen will remain as the grid's oldest driver next year, penning a two-year deal with the resurging Hinwil squad. He will partner Antonio Giovinazzi, a Ferrari junior driver, who already competed in two Grands Prix for Sauber in 2017. A host of other drivers link up with their new teams at the test, with Lando Norris, George Russell, Carlos Sainz, Daniil Kvyat and Robert Kubica spending time in their new camps ahead of the 2019 season.

Mazepin ended the championship in second place, losing out on the championship to Anthoine Hubert. Mazepin picked up four victories and a further four podiums throughout the year, in what was his rookie campaign in the series.

In 2016 and 2017, the Russian competed in the FIA European Formula 3 championship, but wasn't in contention for the title. In 2016, Mazepin became a test driver for Force India, and has had a number of F1 test outings for the Silverstone squad. Speaking about his promotion to F2, Mazepin described it as a "natural progression" as he climbs the racing ladder towards F1.

"I am really happy to be continuing with ART Grand Prix for my step up to F2," the 19-year-old said. "This is a natural progression given our success this year in GP3. I am very much looking forward to the challenge of my rookie season in F2.".

Sébastien Philippe, ART Grand Prix CEO, added: "Continuing our partnership with Nikita into Formula 2 is the logical continuation of a successful 2018 season, where he was consistently in the fight for victory and for the GP3 title, something he only just missed out on in the final race weekend of the season.

"Nikita was a rookie in GP3, but his performances were remarkable from day one with a stunning victory in Barcelona. Nikita has several strengths: he is fast and he constantly strives to progress in everything he does. I'm sure he can be a centrepiece in our Formula 2 team, just as he was in GP3.".

hi everybody and welcome back to relax my dog, today me and Milo here are going

to be talking about a really important topic of dogs

and Christmas and the things you guys need to be aware of that

your dog could be in danger during Christmas, eating things or

messing about with things that are going to be up in your house so yeah let's just

jump straight in, now before we do begin definitely do go down below to the

comments and let me know what you guys do to celebrate Christmas if you do

celebrate Christmas, obviously there's so many different celebrations that go on around

this time of year, you can definitely put this video towards your different

celebrations that you're going to be having in your household, but today

we're gonna be talking about Christmas and how that might affect your dog so

definitely do let us know down below what you guys do for Christmas

do you go out see family, do you take your dog with you, what do you get your

dog for Christmas, let me know down below. the first thing to think about

when you are setting up your Christmas decorations is plants, plants can be very

very dangerous for your dog especially if they are indoors because I feel like

dogs have this sort of initiative and they want to play with these plants, they

want to bite them and to explore them and especially if it is a new thing in

your house your dog will want to explore it, will want to play with it etc.

so you definitely do need to be aware of that, the first thing is a

Christmas tree, now a Christmas tree can be extremely dangerous for your dog

if you get a real Christmas tree they can have those little pine needles and if your

dog swallows them it can actually be very very painful and be very dangerous for

your dog too so definitely do be aware of that if you do like to get a real

tree- what are you doing? Come here, what are you doing?

and obviously as well as the pines and the needles you also need to be aware of

the tree water that the tree obviously needs to sit in, I've never actually had

a real tree but I assume they have some sort of water to sit in and that can be

very very dangerous for your dog as well because it can have all sorts of

infectious bacteria in there which you don't really want your dog to drink, now

as well as Christmas trees you're going to be having loads and loads of different

Christmas plants in your household including holly leaves, berries and that

sort of thing, as well as rosemary and also mistletoe as well might be a

part of your Christmas decorations if you think about it you don't really want

your dog to be swallowing berries or any sort of plastic if you have plastic plants

it can also be quite dangerous because it can get lodged in their throat etc

so it's just something to be aware of, now as well as trees and also plants

your dog may also want to eat the candy as well, all the sweets that you're going

to have on decoration, in our house we have our little pots of Heroes and

little boxes of chocolates all around and we have to be very careful that Milo

doesn't decide to jump up and eat them because that can be very dangerous for

your dog, so make sure that if you do have this sort of candy or sweets out

for decoration or out for your dog to be able to reach, definitely do make sure you

are keeping an eye on them and if you are out of the room make sure you're putting it

out of reach for them so they can't eat them, now the next one is a tablecloth

obviously a lot of tablecloths have sort of dangly bits at the bottom and your

dog, especially if they're a puppy they may want to play with them and they may pull

things and it could completely ruin your whole table decoration as well as having

things that your dog shouldn't be eating or having hold of so definitely

do make sure that if you do have a table cover that has dangly bits, that you are with them

all the time or you're just sort of hooking them

underneath so that your dog cannot get access to them, now as well as plants you

may want to put up tinsel and other decorations as well around your

house to make it look very very Christmassy but do remember that tinsel

can be very very dangerous for your dog if they do decide to swallow the tinsel

because it can be very very attractive for them to do so

anything that sparkly, anything that they sort of feel is like a toy for them they

may want to start playing with, but do remember that tinsel can actually

be very very dangerous if they swallow it, it can get lodged in their throats and it

can also wrap around their tongue as well which can be an extremely bad

choking hazard so definitely do think about what you are going to be putting

up in your house and make sure it is out of reach from your dog or dogs, if you do

have snow globes in your house do remember that the water inside the snow

globe is actually poisonous to dogs as well so make sure they can't knock that

over and also remember that some tree decorations or just decorations in

general can have small parts to them that your dog can easily break off or

they can just break off by sort of you brushing past them and then if they land

on the floor your dog may decide to eat them and that can become a choking

hazard so definitely do be careful what decorations you are putting up and

make sure you're just keeping an eye on your dog around this time. Then obviously

around Christmas time you may have a lot of electronics or you might have the tree on and

you might have lights outside but do you remember that if your dog

decides to chew on any electrical wires it can again be very very dangerous

for them so if you do decide to put up any Christmas lights, definitely do

remember to not leave the wire sort of on the floor try and put them up

somewhere or hide them or take them down so your dog can't play with them or

definitely do it just keep an eye on them throughout this time and if you are

not in the room or you're not in the house definitely do unplug these

decorations, if your dog ever does it decide to chew on them it's not going to

be a harmful situation and remember as well that whenever you are out of the

house do put your dog in a room where there are no decorations because I'm

sure you guys don't want to come home to find that you either your decorations

have been completely ruined or that something has happened to your dog! And

Rest Breaks at Work and Working Time in Irish Law-What You Need to Know - Duration: 6:24.

okay in this video I'm going to take a look at working time and rest periods in

Irish law I'm just going to set out the essentials the relevant legislation is

the organization of Washington March 1997 firstly as I said the legislation

is the organization of working time Act 1997 and this Act will define working

time and rest periods and so on it also states the category of worker that the

Act does not apply to for example Guardi members of Defense Forces and

there are certain challenges of workers who are also exempt from the legislation

so section 11 gives the daily rest period and the daily rest period

basically states that an employee shall be entitled to a rest period of not less

than 11 consecutive hours in each period of 24 hours during which he or she works

for the employer section 12 then sets out the rests and the intervals at work

so an employer shall not require an employee to work for a period of more

than four hours and 30 minutes without allowing him or her a break of at least

15 minutes in addition an employer shall not require the employee to walk for a

period of more than six hours without allowing him or her a bridge of at least

30 minutes and that break may include the area break referred to the 15-minute

bridge there's also regulations dealing with certain specified classes of

workers for example retail workers and the regulations concerning that would

have a look at that just in a minute and it's worth noting as well there a break

allowed to an employee at the end of the working day or at the end of a shift

shall not be regarded as satisfying the requirement the legislative or statutory

entitlement so a break at the end of the day does not suffice weekly recipes than

are set out in section 13 an enticement to at least 24 hours consecutive hours

of a break in each period of seven days or the employer can choose to have to

rest periods each of which must be for at least 24 consecutive hours during a

second seven days period so this rest period must be preceded by a section 11

rescued the section 11 rest period remember is 11 consecutive hours in each

consecutive or 1/8 period of 24 hour so unless the employment contract

provides other ways to 24 hours rest period shall be a Sunday or it's a rest

period of more than 24 hours duration shall include a Sunday however a lot of

contracts will stipulate that you're working which will include a Sunday so

you know that may not apply section 610 sets out a provision in relation to

compensate or rest periods there are exemptions provided for certain

workplaces and industries for example in particular circumstances an employer can

give compensated rest periods where it's not possible for the employee to get his

or her statutory entitlement in the normal course of events retail shop

workers then have particular regulations the basis or the one of the features of

this these regulations for retail shop employees is that if your hours of work

include the errors of 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and you work for more than six

hours then the minimum break that you're entitled to is one hour and this one

hour break should take place between these hours mentioned and cannot be

granted at the end of the working day section 14 then deals with Sunday work

so section 14 provides for compensation for employees who are required to work

on a Sunday where this has not otherwise been taken account of in deciding pay

this is an entitlement to a Sunday premium quite what the extent of the

premium is decided on individual cases sports you are entitled to a premium by

law for working on a Sunday what does it say

different cases have been decided by the workplace relations mission the

employment Appeals Tribunal labor court as to the extent of the premium and it

may well be a situation where you may be only entitled to say 10 or 20 cents per

hour extra for working on a Sunday and the employer probably will argue that

whatever rate of pay you're getting it is included or it includes rather a

premium for working on Sunday weekly rocking hours that an employee cannot

work in excess of 48 hours in the week the average is taken over two to twelve

month period depending on the industry and depending on whether you are a night

worker or not there's additional protection for night workers employers

cannot oblige a night worker to work over eight hours

24-hour period and that worker is a worker who works at least three hours

post midnight as Network is considered to be from midnight to 7:00 a.m.

section 17 then gives an entitlement to information about your working time

where an employee does not have a normal irregular starting and finish time at

work for example if you don't work 9:00 to 5:00 then the employer must give at

least 24 hours notice of the relevant starting and finishing times and the

employee is entitled to the same notice in respect of overtime or additional

hours that the employer may require the employee to work and it's a breach of

this act if that information is not provided when it comes to enforcing

rights and remedies and so on complaints to the workplace relations commission

must be brought within six months of the breach 12 months if reasonable cause can

be shown it's up to the judiciary to decide on what is reasonable cause but

clearly if you as an employee are out of time or you're in excess of the six

months period then you will need to put fold reasons which will give the Julie

in she seems fairly normal at first she starts going on about how much he misses

her husband and her parents and expresses wanting to call them and

communicate with them and oh if the girl tries to help her do that comes to

realize that she has no husband and her parents died a long time ago once that

sort of found out the girl goes a bit mental being awkward either she's having

some sort of mental break or she's possessed but something very very

strange is going on so hopefully you enjoy the story and here we go before I

start work I'll do a quick thread okay and it'll probably be incomplete but

bear with me so two to three months ago was when all of this happened I was

hustling my spring semester / work and I was rarely home before midnight on most

days it was also at the same time we got a new helper

she was from Indonesia and let's just say she was unique I say this in the

most non offensive way possible in a sense that her behavior was erratic and

unpredictable I like her though because she was nice and I talked to her about

life when I'm home after a tiring day and she would tell me about hers she

told me that she missed her husband and her parents at home I go call them

now this is where it all began she said no I don't want to call and I was

curious as to why but didn't push the agenda and not my business so I went to

sleep next morning I woke up to her asking me if she can call home and I go

yeah of course she then called excitedly she passed the

phone to me first and I was surprised because it was her neighbour that picked

it up so I asked for the husband how I was shook the neighbour went quietly Mac

she have no husband and her parents died 10 years ago

I passed the phone to her for her to continue the conversation she then ended

the call with no comments went out of my room and never spoke weeks later she

started behaving even more weirdly she refused to eat talk and constantly

switches off our Wi-Fi she refused to talk to my mother only responded to my

father she only eats rice with Solent and garlic once a week she only talks to

me to ask me if I want to eat which is about 10 times every time I go home I'm

not exaggerating she would get upset that I refused to eat but then again I

didn't want to because I already ate she only does this to me no one else the

theory behind this is that because I'm the weakest link I'm the only non-muslim

here I'll be the easiest to place the black magic on this theory is

unconfirmed until now but my later encounters would probably sway you to

believe that this is true it was around 3 a.m. that I got home after clubbing

and the house was dark and silent because everyone was asleep so as usual

I go into the kitchen pour myself a glass of water wouldn't suddenly

out of the corner of my eyes I saw her standing there there she was standing in

her room in the dark facing the wall I said okay cool got it

time to sleep I was about to leave when she croaked cock Huck knock makan sister

do you want to eat and she turned back and continued facing the wall I got my

bottle of water and went to sleep forgetting all about it I'd also like to

preface something my reaction to these things are very minimal I just carry on

but for drama I'll pretend shook anyway fast forward a week from then again I

came home at 3 a.m. from supper went to the kitchen went to get water

nothing happened though I went straight to sleep after editing my essay it was

around 5 a.m. with when I woke up from sleep because I felt someone watching me

heard her snore is from her room I was like ok just leave I'm an ugly sleep

where there's nothing to see here until I turned my head to my door again only

to see the damn pair of red eyes at the foot of my bed just staring at me

I then when yo just leave and it did some chuckles it left and I saw her

black hair as she walked out of my room again

I dropped it I only told my friends cuz all of them are wimps and I ignored it

because I didn't feel bothered things happen okay so then a few weeks passed

by nothing strange but I noticed my dad pampering her while arguing with my mom

so I went hmmm wonder why one night I went home around 2:00 a.m. and went to

the kitchen to drink maybe I need to stop doing this but I'm thirsty and

there she was she was there praying but facing the wrong way deliberately and

she was trembling I wasn't having any of this so I went back wrong direction and

she looked up to me eyes all red and went do you want to eat Penina I left

nervously and retreated to my room with a box of cereal they didn't in confusion

wondering how am I supposed to sleep without milk anyway I woke up the next

day and was greeted with her smiling and cleaning my room I go nope and left for

that in no way did my family force her to stay we asked if she wanted to leave

credit her behavior to mental illness and not fun you because I firmly dumped

and I have am I not that my MI justifies my position to diagnose another person

but to be clear if my family did not do any harm to her at all we provided her

ample amounts of food even made sure she drank slush aid enough even though she

when you felt targeted by them so I do feel for the author of the story and I'm

actually surprised that she didn't freak out more than she did don't know how far

the girl was going to take it I suppose it's possible that she really did have

parents who passed away and she really was sort of acting out because of that I

also be her being slightly delusional though who shared the story it's called
